Totally changed my view on Political Science! Got me interested and kept my attention in class. Tests are multiple choice and you'll do well if you go to class for notes.

This class is SO easy if you show up for class on a regular basis. If you listen in class, you may not even need to pick up the book. I know I never did. Multiple choice tests are easy and he has your grades the very next class. THIS IS A GREAT GEN ED!

Dulio is a great professor. His experience in the field makes his lectures relevant and intriguing. As far as grades, just show up and listen, you'll do fine.

Even though I dont really like polisci, i enjoyed the class he tried to keep the class interesting... he loves participation which was good bc we took time from class to discuss what WE HAD to say about certain issues... he prepares u well for the tests

This class is fairly easy, but you gotta work. Dulio is one of the BEST teachers at OU b/c he's nice and no question is a dumb question. He doesn't intimitate anyone and makes you feel confident about your work in the class. Great teacher, good class!

Great class, great prof., no homework, just 3 exams including the final. Take good notes and go to class every day and you might not have to buy the book:)for the tests remember to study lecture notes cuz thats where everything is gona come from

Dulio is the man. Answers every question thrown to him, gives very good examples of what he is talking about, in short, a very good professor.

Dulio is the best PS teacher on OU campus. He is the only one besides Kubicek with the guts to tell both sides of the story and not chastise you for having opposing beleifs.

Dulio is the MAN! I have never taken a class and been quite as entertained as I have in "Intro to Politics." He gives insightful examples and listens to students' concerns. He doesn't mind it if you have to use the restroom.

mr. dulio is a cool guy & very laid back. class can seem long at times.. but there is no hw. tests were okay. 3 exams (about 75 questions each) make up your grade - multiple choice.

Good class, I took it during the election, especially interesting. He knows a lot about politics and is very passionate about what he teaches. The classes did drag on, but take good notes and pay attention ... you will do fine on the tests.

wow great guy and girls, you cant fall asleep in his class cuz you have something to look at. study what he tells you to for the tests and you will be fine. gives extra credit opportunities (if you arent good at tests) take good notes and you will be great/stays after class to help whenever you need

Dulio is a great guy and a great professor, and to top it all of he is HOT. I would recommend him to anyone. He's always willing to help and he loves when you go see him to ask questions.

if you're not a good test taker i dont recommend you take this class with him. your whole grade is based on a few exams which are 75 questions each.

Dulio is my fave teacher at OU. He is one of the nicest ppl and will help you no matter what. His class was okay. Not hard at all, we had a simulation, that had some writing asmts, a midterm and a final (study guides were given). The only thing is that he talks to much! You'll never leave early.

Awesome Professor!! He is helpful and really cares if the students understand what is going on. The tests are easy if you come and pay attention in class, and actually study. He also includes different teaching methods making boring subjects interesting. Again, awesome prof!! take his class!

a great teacher, he knows his stuff, and makes learning interesting, i suggest that if you are taking a poli sci class try and get it with Dulio he is great! and the tests really are not that hard if listen to him in class, you really do not need to read the book.

Dulio is awesome! He's not ridiculously easy but he's a great teacher and if you pay attention during lectures you can get a pretty decent grade. I got a 3.6 and I really didn't try as hard as I could have. His tests are pretty intense and you have to write a long research paper--but it's worth the learning.

Dulio is a really great prof. He is so helpful it is ridiculous. While being the only Republican PS prof on campus, he is always open to every view and unlike his liberal counterparts, will not degrade you for having an opinion different than his own. Has a lot of DC experience, was a staffer for JC Watts, so knows his stuff.

Easy class, Dulio knows what he teaches. attendance not taken. Take notes and listen, class is based on two tests which are difficult and some questions are tricky. Most of the lectures are based on the reading don't have to read the book if you come to class and listen to the boring long lectures. Definately would recommend professor and class!

If ever there was a good Republican, he's it. Really good for anyone interested in political organization/campaigning.

Clearly he is the best prof at Oakland. Dulio is very interesting and brings tons of experience from Washington DC into the classroom. I would recommend him to anyone taking a poli sci class.

i wasnt really excited about this class--but he made me understand government!! not many professors can explain this stuff as well as he does. he definitely knows what he is talking about and i was always well prepared for the exams.

Probably the best professor i've had so far. Hes really funny and down to Earth, he explains everything well and lets you know whats exactly on the test. If you dont miss a class and write down whatever he puts on the board, you'll do fine. He makes Political Science fun and interesting, plus he likes college football. Definitley take.

I second that Dulio is the best at Oakland. He's the type of prof that you would actually want to get up and go to his class. He's so effective in bringing govt into your life. You can tell that for him it's not just a job; he actually enjoys this thus makes you enjoy it. Highly recommended for anyone looking into PS

Dulio is the reason I picked up a minor in Poli Sci and why I am seriously considering getting a Master's in it. He is very approachable and does not have those walls that usually seperate a prof from a student. If you go to OU you have to take at least one class with him and then you'll agree.

Very personable, excellent teaching style (interactive/lecture), approachable; anyone who is even slightly interested in political science should take at least one course with him; he gets away from the usual academic nature of the subject and makes the material more interesting and applicable.

cool dude...very laid back and funny...subject matter is kind of boring...had open class discusions...tests were easy if you come to class and do a little studying...definately recommended

great instructor. keeps you awake. intresting. no homework. grades on 3 exams 75 questions each. there is a review guide for each exam. if you take notes every class and review a little bit you will pass with flying colors. would recommend to anyone.

I barley read the book. Review the notes two hours before each exam and got a 3.0 out of the class. Take him, he's great and really knows his stuff.

He's very fun, always in a good mood and seems to be glad to be in class. Very funny, explains things well, encourages class discussion. Look over the study guide before the exams, what's on it will be on the test. Pretty easy class =)

He is an awesome teacher...makes PS interesting! Shares a lot of personal stories from his time in DC which adds to the class and relates content to us. Easy exams...just study what's on the study guide. Definitely my favorite prof yet!!

Go to class get a good grade. He tends to go tangents though...which takes up alot of class time. He is really funny, and his class is generally easy. I think he is a good teacher, and he really wants they students to do well in his class...Gives no homework...Only 3 exams which kinda sucks. thats reallt it and I would recomend him

Dulio is one of the best professors ive had so far. He really got me interested in the subject. Tests arent too bad, hes really clear and willing to help if you ask for it. And i pretty much never used the book.

DD was a pretty good instructor. He's a neo-con, but his personal views rarely, if ever, came through in class discussion. He's ^very^ fair, knowledgeable, and lectures are interesting, usually peppered with a little bit of polisci humor. I would recommend taking his courses.

What a great professor, this guy will be fun to have and if you mix him with the politics he teaches, you will always have a good time in his class. His test are easy and as long as you go over your class notes and what he teaches youll do fine. A great guy to et to know on a personal level and as a professor. He has lots of good stories to tell.

Attendance was never required & he never knew any of his students names unless you talked to him in his office. Overall, he's a very good professor and knows his politics very well however, his exams are a bit tricky and the class is based on 4 exams so pay attention!

Always answers questions and covers the material that's on the tests. Just take notes on what he says and read the chapters and you'll be fine on the exams.

Dulio is the only Political Science Professor at OU that has not had my fall asleep yet. I've had him for 3 courses (PS100, PS326, PS302) and each time I can say that I learned a lot. This guy is the best Political Science professor on campus. If you were to base it off of his teaching and course content, you wouldn't know how he leans politically. The same can't be said about some of the other PoliSci professors on campus, who lean so far left that it is disgusting. He keeps things interesting and balanced, which is great!

Great Prof! Explains things very clearly. You need to be in class everyday if you do not want to read the book. He goes over everything in a detailed manner. He is funny and a great professor. I highly recommend him!

If you go to class and take notes you won't need to study the book much for exams. Take online quizzes once in a while (need book to take these. questions on articles). Fair professor, has a loud clear voice. Uses examples that pertain to politics today which is nice. Don't get caught on your phone, go to class, take notes, and you'll be fine.

Best poli sci prof at OU. As mentioned, the only one who doesn't share his personal opinions. He also happens to be the smartest.. what a coincidence! ; ) Definitely recommend this course if you want to learn and want to be treated fairly. You will have to show up and work hard but it is worth it.

I'm a political science major, and I will admit, the political science professors here are just average (at best). However, Dulio is the one professor that is TOTALLY worth the tuition money. He uses different approaches to teaching the material and makes it easy to understand. He does great Bill Clinton impressions!

Dave Dulio is the man, plain and simple. He's very personable, knows his stuff inside and out, and does great Bill Clinton impersonations! Quite possibly the best professor I've ever had. Highly recommended!

Awesome professor. His lectures are entertaining even if you don't care much for poli sci. Also, you don't need the textbook for PS100- I just googled the terms on the study guide that I didn't know and got an A. Also, he keeps his lectures unbiased towards either party, which I like. If you must take PS100 take this guy.

Real nice guy and he truly cares about his students. He is always well prepared for class and provides a great deal of information with numerous examples to help students understand the subject.

I took Dulio for PS 302 (Congress and Legislation) and it was very interesting. He lectures the entire time, some small reading here and there with two tests and a simulation (get into it and you'll do VERY well). The tests are pretty easy as long as you take notes, simulation is straight forward. All in all, easy fun class.

He's an amazing prof, probably the best at Oakland. The lectures can be long and boring but he tries to keep it interesting. If you have questions just ask him after class or during his office hours bc he can be real rude if you ask during class. He's not an intentionally rude or mean, he's just really blunt. He also makes you do online homework.

I had taken his class in Fall 2015 & he is without a doubt one of my favorite professors at OU. He remained COMPLETELY unbiased in his lectures, which is something hard to find in Poly Sci especially. His lectures are long, but he tries to keep it interesting for those who aren't engaged in politics and he is absolutely hilarious!

I had him my freshman year, He is a pretty chill guy. Just remember to do your assignments online. He will curve the midterm and final like crazy! I went to lectures here and there and still mange to pass with a B. Just make sure to participate.

He's a really good prof and stays unbiased

Good lecturer, fair grader, clear in expectations, interesting content. Grades are mostly a midterm, final, participation, and the Congress simulation. Not hard at all if you show up, but you must show up. For my particular class, he was quite biased for Republicans - just something to keep in mind. Recommended though. You'll learn.

His lectures are really helpful and he writes on the white board while he's talking, so his notes are really laid back. His class was super easy & actually pretty interesting.

Uses an online textbook and makes you take the short quizzes before class. Very easy. Tests are multiple choice and easy. He's really easy to listen to, funny, and makes it feel more like a conversation than a lecture. One of the best/easiest classes I've ever taken. He's so nice and available for anything. I took this class twice. The first time was in-class and the second was online. I would definitely take it online if given the option. He makes notes so much more clear and detailed in online lectures. He is very unbiased and makes politics as least boring as possible.

Go to lecture and take his online quizzes every week and you will pass with flying colors. Makes politics fun and easy. The man knows his stuff and will answer all of your questions. 12/10 would recommend.

Professor Dulio is awesome, made PS1100 a fun class. I really enjoyed his lectures. Overall easy class, especially if you have any prior background of US politics from other classes. Even if you don't Professor Dulio explains things very well and you really get a good understanding of US politics from him. Would recommend taking online if you can.

I took Professor Dulio's online PS1100 course during the first 8-week summer semester. He makes all the content super easy to follow and his online lectures aren't bad, just long (it's a lot of info). Your grade is made up of the online quizzes and 2 exams, so if you stay on top of those, it's an easy A.

Gives extra credit for going to after class events. It replaces quizzes that you might miss. The revel quizzes you will get you have to keep up with them. They are due morning before class go to extra credit events in case you miss a quiz. Your grade is mid term average revel quiz score and final. So be ready and anything can be on the tests

I loved this professor. The only thing that sucked was failing the midterm. Pretty much if you fail it, you have to get an A+ on every quiz and the final to pass. Had to drop for my own sake. He's super entertaining though and has real-life experience in politics. Super funny.

Prof. Dulio is an amazing professor. if you are having trouble in his class go talk with him. He genuinely cares and wants to see you succeed. Politics is hard for me and he made it a lot easier to understand. He is so funny. Dont skip class cause all info for the tests are in the lectures. If you do skip class let him know and he will understand.

He's a good guy and super funny. This wasn't the easiest class for me, I struggle with politics. I made sure to do my homework assignments and met with him a few times to see how I could improve my grade. He gave some good feedback and helped me pass. Overall easy course, he cares for his students and wants them to succeed.

Professor Dulio, WOW. Overall class act guy. He gives lectures almost every class for a good hour or longer, but he makes it interesting. He offers multiple extra credit opportunities every month that replace your poor quiz grades for full credit. He also sends out a review guide for Exams. He doesnt like phones or computers in the class.

Absolutely great professor. Actually made me interested in politics for the first time in 21 years. Gives great lectures with current events being discussed in class. Very understanding and cares about LEARNING first, not tests and scores. Makes the material extremely accessible. Quizzes and exams are pretty easy as well. Would highly recommend.

Professor Dulio gave out great lectures most of the time. Sometimes the lectures were boring but he made sure that the material was taught well. The online part of the class I personally did not like, as it began to get confusing throughout the course. Overall, he was a great professor, you just need to be focused on the lectures to do good.

I had professor Dulio online so I didn't really get to know him. The class was super heavy on homework but it was only worth 30% of the grade. The other 70% was the midterm/final which brought my grade down a lot because of how much it weighed. That's the only thing I hated about the class, otherwise Professor Dulio seemed to be a pretty chill guy.

Most questions on midterm and final are in textbook or lectures, but maybe 5 (between final and mid) are from nowhere. Lectures are about 2 hours total each week, and adding the text, maybe 5 hours a week. CAUTION: some weeks have double readings, and there's no makeup for quizzes. Fortunately, has extra credit for makeup on those. He's very nice.

Professor Dulio is an amazing professor! His class is very lecture heavy, but he tries to make them entertaining for the students. The exams (2) are based off the book and his lecture, so while attendance isn't mandatory, it's important to at least have notes from class. He offers multiple extra credit opportunities throughout the semester as well.

he is the funniest and most interesting professor i've had at OU and i'm a senior. i was never bored during his lectures, he explained complicated things clearly and simply and he had plenty of relevant experiences and videos to share which helped to understand the material. would take any class with him hands down

Class time was spent only on lectures, and all homework assignments were through the online textbook. Attendance was not graded, however I would highly recommend coming to class, if you wish to do well on the 2 exams. Overall, very straightforward class and professor.

Content was boring but the prof made it very interesting and interactive. Kept everyone UTD on current events. Funny guy and offered multiple extra credit assignments. Online textbook with weekly quizzes which was very simple and easy to do. Long lectures and material was heavy but it was taught very well. No phones or laptops allowed

Professor Dulio keeps the lectures engaging with his humor and relevant real-world examples. The workload is manageable, but staying on top of the textbook and attending class is key. Unstuckstudy was a great study aid alongside the course materials.

Wasn't in the course description but you need to purchase an $80 Revel online textbook. On that site you'll take quizzes about every two weeks based on the reading material in the textbook. Attendance isn't mandatory, but if you miss class it can reflect on your grade because some things mentioned in class will be on the quiz.

Prof Dulio is amazing, the content of the class is just basic stuff you would have learned in a highschool politics class. He provides review guides for each exam which I found very helpful, there are a couple things that he mentions in class that aren't on the review guide that sneak in, so go to class. He is very funning easy to stay engaged.
