Very clear teacher. Not only does he tell you how to get the answer, he also tells you WHY you need to know how to get the answer. Very nice guy.

He's an excellent teacher, who is very helpful, ecpecially if you are crap at math. Put it this way I am a C at math and came out with an A in prob & stat. I highly recommend him.

Great teacher, reviews before every test. He'll explain problems to you until you get it. He's a great teacher. I have heard that up on the calculus level, he has a harder time teaching it and explaining it. For Probability and Statistics, he's very effective.

He makes a hard class easy because he explains everything down to an easy to understand level. Plus he's hot so it's fun just to go to class and look at him.

i hate math but he really helped me. i was in his office for help about once a week and he was always so patient. he writes everything on the board which is really helpful. he is also gorgeous!!

Dave is the freaking man. He is awesome professor and easy to deal with. His tests are a joke. You would be crazy not to take him.

Mr. Flenner got me through mat 110 with a b, after failing it first time round with a different teacher. He is very big on partial credit, which helped me out alot. At times he could be confusing. But I highly recommend him as a teacher.

I hate Math but I started to love it because I could look at him everyday. I made sure to sit in the front row everyday. Awh, he is so CUTE and so SWEET!!! Wonder if he is single? :)

put it this way. i made a D in 102 by the grace of god. i actually EARNED a B in his 120. easy to follow, didn't talk to us like we were fellow mathematicians. the fact the he is BANGIN HOT didn't hurt things either...

David Flenner is the hottest teacher I have ever had, but that still didn't help me get up in the mornings. I would suggest him to anyone because he is an awesome teacher and explains things in a simple way.

He is a cutie, that's for sure. His teaching style is king of layed back but he still gets the point across.studying is the key to success but it is really hard to focus when you have a teacher as cute as you. "Oops..no I did not just say that!"

WOW, HOTTIE!!! :) class is pretty easy, the material is not hard to follow at all - if you study, its an easy A, and wow, what can I say?...this teacher is one cutie!

Easy teacher, most of the time he's pretty clear. Dorky in a cute way (always tripping over something or running into something, can't figure out how to use the overhead or the projector)

Test are not very hard but they cover the content. Gives homework but doesn't require it. Seems nice, and like he would be helpful if you needed it. Not bad to look at either, and has a really funny sense of humor.

test are easy if you understand the material explains things pretty well attendance is important unless you really know how to do all the material already things are pretty basic and doesnt go into depth on most stuff gives alot of partial credit even if you have no clue how to do theproblem just make it look like you do and youll get points for it

Mr. Flenner was a great teacher, in my opinion. He does not grade homework which is awesome if you have a busy schedule, but goes over it daily if anyone has questions. My one piece of advice: IF YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND SOMETHING, ASK!! He is more than willing to explain the homework, so take advantage of it!!

I am horrible at Math but Mr. Flenner made it very interesting for me this semester. He is an extremely helpful teacher IF YOU ASK! He will bend over backwards to make sure you understand the concept. I'm taking his online class-homework mandatory but very helpful for tests!

hot, young guy...friendly and smart...easy class

I thought this class was really easy. I had it at 8 am and slept through most of the class and still aced the exams, which are the only grades you have. Really really easy teacher.

Took the online course. He was very helpful and assisted me with alternative ways to access materials when had computer problems. Very clear course presentation. Video lecture: nicely paced, rather relaxing voice and presentation

Took FF Prob/Stats online & got an A. He provides CLEAR video lessons & additional videos that show examples of the problems. You can take hw quizzes as many times as possible until you receive a 100%. 4 Exams and he gives a video review prior to each. Only had to go to campus twice - for the midterm and the final. EXCELLENT ONLINE TEACHER

He is amazing. He reminds me of Ben Affleck.

Very nice and low-key professor. Presents a lot of theory but tests are only on the practical elements. Outlines exactly what kinds of problems will be on the tests so it's really easy to ace them. Has a tendency to drone and uses every minute of class time, but extremely helpful outside of class and super organized (tests graded quick).

Let me just begin I hate math. I despise Calculus II, but Mr. Flenner is a cool laid back teacher with some easy test and he is always available! He drags class out a little longer then expected but he is pretty cool guy! I should not have taken it for Summer School

Pretty helpful. Some found his tests pretty hard but if you do all of the homework without constantly looking in the back of the book you'll do pretty good.

Great instructor who wants his students to succeed. Put in the work, ask for help when you need it, and you'll do just fine.

I was nervous about taking this class online as I never had any accounting experience. Proff Flenner did a wonderful job in his instructional videos - it walked you through each step and then there were the examples he did for every problem. He spent a TON of time on the videos and I think that is why I did so well in the class.

Mr. Flenner is AWESOME! He is very willing to help any of his students. However, he does not give out grades and wants his students to learn the material. I really enjoyed having him as a professor.

Professor Flenner is the best math professor I've ever had. Yes, you do have to watch 40 minute videos-but they are so helpful, and it's why I did so well in the class. Math is NOT my favorite subject and I got an A. Do the assignments, watch the videos, there's no way to fail. TAKE PROFESSOR FLENNER for Prob & Stat, you won't regret it

Great teacher! I am not a math person, and I loved this class. I made an A! Hated to see the semester end. He is very clear with his teaching and is very helpful if you don't understand something.

Lets just put it this way I failed probability and stats before, but in Mr. Flenners class I made an A on every test and actually LOVED doing the math work (that I usually hate) I would recommend him to anyone who is not good at math! Best advice for his class DO THE HOMEWORKQUIZES they will make you understand and get help with what you dont get

This is the FIRST math class that I have ever taken that I made an A in. Mr. Flenner did a phenomenal job with how he set up his course. He made videos of himself actually teaching you as if you were in the classroom. This is very helpful to those of us who cannot learn math simply by reading text. I would highly recommend taking his course.

Mr. Flenner was a great teacher. However, the tests didn't have many questions. So, if you got one wrong, it was most likely -10 pnts right there. He says study off his notes, but that wasn't always true. You had to go outside of his lectures to figure things out. He always answered questions well. Plan to be there the ENTIRE time!

The material is difficult... almost impossible to comprehend and retain in 7 weeks, but I can't knock the professor for something out of his control. He is extremely generous with his grading if you make a logical attempt at answering the problem. His pre-test reviews were crucial, and he designs his tests of examples from his notes. Solid teacher.

Had him for 7 week split semester. Didn't think Cal 2 would be possible in only 14 class meetings, but with the examples he shows in class and the homework he suggests you do, the tests are actually pretty straight forward. He was also there for office hours every time I needed, barring once before a test. In all, great teacher, hard class.

Calculus II is tough! It was a split semesters, 10 lectures for a 4 credit hour class! Prof. Flenner made the absolute very best out of a tough class on a tough schedule. He presents the material during the class, and come test time, the material is exactly what is on the test. Absolutely recommended for the brave and strong willed!

I took him for MAT130 (business calc) and for a math class, it was about as easy as you are going to get. Yes there was homework, but you have to do your homework to learn the stuff. Fair grader, gives partial credit. He cuts down the homework a lot so it is definitely not unbearable. You have to put in the time, don't slack off or skip class.

Mr. Flenner is super bright and enthusiastic. He is incredibly helpful and is a fair grader. He ensures you are adequately prepared for all of the tests. The example problems are indicative of the material you will see on tests and he will review thoroughly. In addition, he frequently helped students with remedial concepts.

Like being taught by the Dark Knight himself

If you have to take this class online, take it with him! He provides self recorded videos walking you through math problems. He doesn't require the book, just watch his videos and study them! The absolute best math class I have ever taken. Thank you!

Loved Mr. Flenner, I myself have always struggled with math and I was dreading this class. I finished the class with a A and didn't have to spend extra money on a book. I recommend him to anyone.

Flenner is a great teacher. I don't think I would've passed Cal two if I took it with anyone else. I would've received a B in the class, but totally botched my final exam. I would recommend!

Flenner is an awesome teacher, always looking out for people's questions and answers to the best of his ability, takes homework questions before every class starts, and lets you know the material used for his tests. He even used some programs he found online in his own time to graph some 3-D/4-D functions and vector fields for us.

Professor Flenner was fantastic & very accesible! Class was online and 2x-weekly meetings via WebEx were optional, but very helpful for going through difficult problems. Class was delivered via his pre-recorded videos, which were very clear, well done, and fully explained. Homework was through XYZ Homework which was great. Highly recommend him!

I took College Algebra (MAT110) online and passed with a 98. You watch pre-recorded lesson videos, do a homework lesson, and usually about 5 days later, take a test. Professor Flenner is a great instructor. He is responsive and easy to understand

Professor Flenner is a very good professor. There is a weekly webex so you can get help if you need it (it's recorded if you can't make it). He responds quickly to emails and gives lots of extra credit on tests. Would definitely take again.

Really makes you understand where the math comes from

Flenner was absolutely amazing and super helpful throughout the entire class. Was always there if you needed help and responded to questions/emails within a few hours. honestly the best math teacher ive ever had. he does use lockdown browser + webcam. he makes sure you know the material so you dont ever struggle

I literally made an account just to rate Mr. Flenner he is the best math teacher I've ever had in college or high school. He seriously works so hard and has like a million videos and his videos are really easy to learn from. I just really respect him as a teacher considering I have had all my other math teachers- use his videos instead of teaching.

He is AWESOME. This class was SO easy. Granted I did get a C, only because I got behind due to family stuff. Math 110 was WAY easier than 102. I was shocked. He provides recorded lectures AND youtube videos going over each question of the homework. He really cares about his students. There's very little homework and 1 easy project. 10/10!

I absolutely LOVED Flenner! He does lecture for the full 3 hours however it wasn't too bad for a class that was 2 days a week. He went in-depth on the content and made it very easy to learn. Attendance was not required however if you miss a class you will miss a lot of content! Overall an amazing Professor, definitely recommend him!
