Prof. Freeman is a great teacher. You will learn a lot in this class. Homework is really helpful and not hard at all, so just do it and you will be fine. He really knows what his teaching and if you do not understand something, he will explain it to you until you get it.

This guy was Fun and very helpful. He can get loud and loves to crack on himself; just the way he is. Easy, Coherent, very understanding. Attendance, you are not late or absent until he calls your name. Homework, easy; papers, easy; just do the work and you'll pass.

Best English teacher ive had. really helpful, responsible, and fair. when it comes to his tests, fairly hard but if you study and do all the homework (which is not that much) you will pass his class.

He was a great teacher!I thought that was a little bit too much homework, but that was easy if you really pay attention during his classes.Exams, Quizzes and tests are pretty easy also. He is the one you may learn from him!

Great teacher , cracks on himself , if you make jokes he will joke around with you .. very easy going and relaxed about class and very nice .. attendance is part of your grade .. 4 major reports in the semester and little homework . final exam was rediculously easy . great professor and a very nice guy

Great professor. He make me really learn something in this class. Have 4 essay, 3 of them around 3 pages, and one research paper. some reading assignment not to much. A little bit quizes. attend is required everyday, but have 3 free absent.

Professor Freeman was AWESOME! If I had to take more English-related course, I would have definitely taken him again. He cares about his students, but don't miss too many classes - he will drop you like a hot potato if you miss more than 3. All of his assignments bleed into the next, so if you keep up and do all assignments you'll get an A.

He is great! If you are ESL you will like it, because he is really helpfull. Just do not afraid to ask, he is easy approachable.

Very honest and fun. Tells you like it is. Don't expect 100% on your writting assignments, it won't happen. Good professor, and taught a lot of good information. Don't be late and don't leave early. DON'T PLAGERIZE, no tolerence!

He is an awesome teacher he really takes the time out to explain things and also makes sure that you get it. I took his English Prep class and passed his class and the exit exam. His quizzes are easy as long as you read and study everything. All in all he knows what he is doing and you will retain a lot in his class.

One of the few professors who are truly passionate about his subject and delivers it in an entertaining way. The class was interesting, I learned a lot (I studied). If you study, tests are easy. Helpful if you have questions. Strict, but with a heart. Recommend!

Professor Freeman is a cool dude he likes to talk about his family everynow in days. Theres occasionall homework and they aren't hard just stay on them and you will be fine the test are very easy just study. sometimes he may have his days but its not that bad when he goes over the readings he will call on the class so make sure you have read.

Professor Freeman is great I took this class Summer A and I ould not have survived without him. He made the class interesting. He is funny and caring. Do your work and you will have no problems. His final was awesome exactly what he covered, no surprises. Wish I could have him for Comp II

He is a very funny professor. You will have to do essays of course, but he is very helpful at it. He makes his lectures interesting and likes making examples out of his own life. He jokes around about his eye condition; such a sweet man. He really deserves respect. Wonderful professor!

This professor is great at answering questions and being clear. One downside is that he restates the obvious a lot, and rambles much more than necessary making the class seem LONG. He does try to be funny though and is a nice man.

Mr. Freeman is a great teacher he is very helpful at all times, and very funny. He like to talk about his personal life alot and use them as an example but he still a great teacher. If you dont pass his class with a C or higher your just lazy because he is a very easy teacher and he takes his job really serious.

Overall a decent professor, surprised to see his easiness was so high. Gives numerous pop quizzes, cares a lot about attendance, and doesn't post your grades online. If you don't want a life outside of school, this class is meant for you.

Professor Freeman's class is very interactive and there are a lot of class discussions. He makes the material and lectures interesting. He lets us know exactly what he wants. He isn't very easy when grading papers though. You need to actually work hard for an A on a paper. Final was VERY easy and I left the class with an A.

Professor Freeman's sense of humor and easy-going teaching style, made class extremely enjoyable and I was always eager to attend his next class. I liked that he repeated himself, because I needed the constant reminders.

Mr. Freeman is such a nice man. At first i wasnt really into his class but then i moved to another seat and started paying attention and participating more in class. He gives example about his personal life which sometimes is interesting. Expect pop quizzes but if you pay attention in class they are really easy. You will not regret taking his class

He cares about his students and understands the stress that is upon students. Although he knows that you are here to learn and he helps with a very useful strategy to help students interact and he gives plenty of work, mainly reading but the stories are not so bad either. You just have to put your mind to it and you will pass with an easy A!

I LOVED Mr. Freeman's class! I just took him this semester and it was a great experience. 4 essays - a few quizzes on the reading early in the semester - no biggie. As long as you attend class and know how to write, you're good to go! He has a great personality and creates a really good classroom environment. Definitely recommend!

I took his class over the summer and all I had to do was 3 essays; one creative essay, one definition essay, and a typical research paper it was soo easy!!! The 75 Readings book is a must because he does quizzes from what you read but its not hard at all!

A great guy, personally hate English but his class allowed it to grow on me. Easy class, do your part and he will do his. Actually read what's assigned and the rest is cake.

Prof. Freeman is probably one of my favorite professors at Valencia. He lectures on real world problems and is open to any and all opinions. Only had 3 papers, one was a movie review which was actually pretty fun. Read all assigned readings, because you never know when a pop quiz will come up. I will def take him for ENC 1102.

literally had no talent for writing until his class showed me just how easy it actually is. love his lectures and his passion for English. took cor 1101 and 1102 and got an A both times. very easy and fun class

I like him as a professor but my only concern is he needs to make sure that everyone knows what he is talking about when he lectures. Some people have never read Hamlet, some people were never taught how to write a sonnet, some people never did an analysis before. Other then that he is a great professor and he makes class fun.

Professor Freeman is a GREAT professor and you can tell he definitely loves his job. This class was easy for me and I loved showing up every day. He is very clear on directions and tells you exactly what he wants. Only 3 papers all semester which were very interesting topics and only a few quizzes on assigned readings. Definitely recommend.

Professor Freeman is a great teacher but he does take a while to get you your grades, his grading is tough in a way but he is a great teacher and helps you understand what you have read. Pop quizzes are quite normal so MAKE SURE YOU DO YOUR READINGS!

Took him for Comp 1 Last Semester(Fall 2015). He is very fair and if you are struggling, just talk to him. He's very approachable and understanding (but he's not dumb either, he'll call bs) You need to read all assignments and do the work, If you do that you'll pass. His main goal is to teach you how to write an educated paper.

Professor Freeman is a very nice guy, he genuinely cares about how you are doing and will give you life advice, nonetheless his #1 rule is to do the work, if you do that you'll pass, keep up with the reading and the papers, he's VERY strict about being late and using your phone in class. Be respectful and don't give him a reason to be mean.

He's a tough grader but he is always there in his office to help. He tells his students he's boring throughout the semester but every class involves laughter. He really cares about his students learning the material. I highly recommend him as a freshmean comp 1 & 2 teacher!

Good professor, I recommend it. He gives good feedback and is always available for help. You feel that he loves his job and cares about his students. He explains everything and if you have any question he can go over it again and again until you get it.

Professor Freeman is a super nice guy even though he has had a tough year in his personal life he still managed to teach class as often and good as he could. Professor Freeman had a really tough semester personally with devastating family issues. However, he never let it get in the way. He taught professionally, while still being kind and funny. Great prof and easy class. Really kind man. Would definitely recommend. Do have to read. Midterm and Final are easy, got an A.

Professor Freeman is super nice and gives great feedback. I took him online and there was about 1 discussion a week and 4 papers but they were not too bad. I expected this class to be much harder but he was there for me with any questions I have. He clearly cares about the subject and will go lengths to make sure you understand each assignment.

Professor Freeman was one of the best professors I have had so far. He is very forgiving and lenient with the schedule, so long as you don't take advantage of him. There were a few bumps along the way, with him having personal trouble and having to take over another class for a friend. But, he always worked around this for the student's benefit.

Professor Freeman is a pretty straight forward guy. I learned a lot in his class and wish I would have been able to take his class in person. He is very understanding and empathetic. Tough grader but hes very clear in his notes and gives you room to improve. Best English Professor Ive ever had. Hes worth it if you want to actually learn.

Despite the reviews saying he is a harsh grader, I found him to be quite the opposite. Often times, I submitted an essay I thought was utter trash and came out with a 99%. Anytime I had a question, I received a reply within 24 hours or less. Though he was often behind on grading and did not always provide feedback, he is a solid choice for ENC1102

Professor Freeman was so kind, personable, and hilarious. He organizes his class by the week. Be ready to read and write! He gives great feedback on your papers so you can submit solid final drafts. I took this class for 6 weeks in the summer and it was intense (time wise) but if you write your papers and do your discussions you will get an A!

Professor Freeman is a real character. He cares a lot about writing and his students. His class is based on participation and interaction in conversations. His classwork is week by week, on the home page which is kind of hard to navigate sometimes. Which is the only problem I have. But overall his class is interesting, very funny, and easy to pass.

He is an amazing professor! There are a lot of easy discussions, his lectures are very clear and he gives good feedback on the 3 papers, plus he is always available for a chat or email. He has a bit of an issue with his canvas arrangement, but he is very fair and clear on when things are due and their criteria. Just be present and do the work.

Professor Freeman is an engaging teacher who makes the class enjoyable. While the textbook requirement is questionable, his lessons and feedback are very helpful. Using Unstuckstudy along with the course materials helped me stay on top of the work and do well in the class.

Taking this course and learning from Professor Freeman is like taking a magic school bus ride through the beautiful reads and writings of the renaissance era. I took Mr.Freeman in the fall in a face to face class. We had been given essays and discussions post for the semester but it was only like 4 essays. He wants people to talk in that class and have good conversations with him but participation isn't mandatory. Overall he would sometimes push back due dates if the class agreed. He's a decent teacher.
