easy,ask alot of questions, nice teacher

Froc seems like a good guy, sounds like he knows what he's talking about, havent really had him for very long though. I rate him good because I think he's a douglas adams fan.

An alright prof. Good class if you are used to listening to a lecture all class. Very nice and jokes all the time although half the time they aren't even funny.People laugh anyways. Lastly.. what can i say.. hes pretty darn cute. I wonder if he's married

nice guy, jokes extremely corny-but funny, some material is very confusing, slides are easy to get off internet but the format in which it prints out is difficult to study off of!!!!!!

He is an awesome instructor. He's obviously not accustomed to the college-underacheiving style, so be prepared to work for your mark. Dave definitely knows his stuff (he is actually a researcher, not a wannabe like most of our profs). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED but keep up.

I think hes a great prof. His tests arent that hard if you STUDY!!! I like the way he teaches and next semester i hope to get him for 2300. He is always there to talk in office hours and helps you out a lot if you put in the effort.

Tests are difficult if youre not into biology.

froc did an awesome job teaching this class. he has a sense of humor and seems to relate well to the students. he's always around to help and is really good at explaining things. no homework, easy tests if you study, 1 paper. a bonus-all of his notes are on power point so you can just download them!

He rocks! The class was sooo interesting, and not very hard if you read the book and pay attention. He's very helpful and will try hard to make sure you do as well as possible. He's pretty funny too.

Easy - 97% - (Side note: I am Mathematically INCLINED) Always read the chapters the day before or on the same day as the exams - Assignments are easy - Froc is great at explaining it and uses powerpoint so it's DLable - Just read the text and the test will be a breeze - Understanding the formulas is a good thing. Just plug and play

Good teacher, really funny, and a fair marker. Not the easiest course, but if you know your stuff you will do well. Don't expect to get a good mark without studying. Do the problems in the text and you should do fine.

a great guy. very funny and easy going. notes are long, but printable! hes great for clarity! he goes over the difficult part of a lesson in a variety of ways, such as drawings, to ensure you understand it. midterms are a bit hard, but thats expected if you dont study!

He is really nice and always has funny stories that relate to the material. All his notes are on the computer, so it is to prepare for the class ahead of time. The material is tough is some chapters, just have to study hard and you'll get a good grade.

I definitely recommend David Froc as your next psych teacher. He tackles the topics we're learning from every angle so that it'll turn on the light for all of you. Of course, just like any other course, you'll have to study. Just as long as you know the material, you'll do fine. I love his stories!

Awesome teacher! because he actually TEACHES the material not just cockily presents it. Hilarious stories, great clarity and organization.No homework, just study for his midterms and he is very FAIR and cares about his students. He's smart but not stuck up and truly cool which is not what you can say about most teachers! hIGHLY recommended!!

David Froc is an excellent prof, very humorous and interesting class. His tests are not super easy, but simply read the chapters and review notes and you will do fine. He always has bonus questions on exams, seems to love his job and cares for the students.

Amazing! I'm not sure why he doesn't have a higher rating than this. He makes the topics clear and he makes exams more relaxing than I ever thought possible. Hilarious too! It's nice to know a prof can actually have a sense of humour. Take him if you have the chance!

He is one of the smartest teachers I've ever had and really knows his field. M/C is difficult but written is a breeze but he bumps the marks up if the class doesn't do well. Don't take him if you're a slacker, u have to work hard, to those who said he's a bad prof maybe you should OPEN the text book you bought and do something called READING.

Let's just say that I have a giant crush on Froc after taking Biopsych. He is hilarious and makes the lectures interesting with his humor when the material might have otherwise been dry. He is a very fair marker and often changes his tests to up the class' average. He really cares about his students and I highly recommend him.

Froc is an awesome teacher! Really knows his stuff and is enthusiastic about it. The only reason ppl. would say his class is hard is IF they didn't study or pay attention in class. Granted, it's Biopsyc and not "spongy" material but if you try you'll do well. He's hilarious too, definate cool guy. There's not inner nerd here.

his lectures are a bit disorganized but he makes the statistics fun and is totally available by email for help. he is very dedicated to helping the students, all you have to do is ask. really nice teacher. course is hard but if you read the textbook and do the practice questions, it's fine.

One of the best professors at Kwantlen. I went into this class feeling mathematically challenged, and came out feeling very knowledgable. Not only is he a good teacher, but he really has a great sense of humour also. If you really want to learn STATS, this is the guy to take.

Awesome, awesome, awesome prof! The best! Very approachable, makes class fun and very, very fair marker. Book is great and very easy to understand and Froc makes it fun. If you have to take stats, take it with him. Practice before each test and there is no way you can get less than an 'A'.

Awesome prof, he really tries to get you a good grade in his class, plenty of extra credit assignments. If you are easily offended by FUNNY people, don't take this class.

Very funny and really knows his stuff. He is definitely approachable and gives you straight answers as to what he expects in your work. Makes an otherwise dull class entertaining and interesting. You can really tell he cares about what he is teaching.

I recommend this teacher. He gives lots of opportunity for bonus marks. And makes the lectures interesting (for stats). I never thought I could get an A in stats but i did! He's pretty nice to look at too.

The topics he teaches rn't typical psych - they're a math/physics/chem/bio combo, and they're hard to learn, and probly to teach. He's just a normal guy but what makes him a great teacher is that he'll answer all q's and help til u 'get' it. U have to study to pass. He's more available in class than out, so use your class time for all you can get.

I have mixed feelings about Froc. He has a great reputation and is a skilled teacher. His communication outside of class sucks. The amount of info you need to know for the tests is beyond reason, and he doesn't make it clear what we need to emphasize in our studies. He's a good teacher and I work hard, so why am I getting my worst grade ever?

Awesome professor! Took him for psychology 1200 online and it was the best experience ever. He posts up slideshows and forums which make keeping on track a lot easier, his assignments are a little bit more tedious and you have to pay attention! He has three midterms, all multiple choice! You should definitely take him if you in need for more time.

This is a really great professor! I mixed up the date for the final exam and missed it - but he let me write it anyway! His tests are easy if you pay even a little attention in class, and read the textbook. HINT: Use the website the textbook recommends - if you know those terms and Q's you'll ace the MC on the test.

Froc is a great teacher - it's fun to watch him translate our questions into how he thinks (brilliant science mind) & then translate back for us to understand. I took alot of notes during class, studied with friends, and got great marks. He just expects effort. No prof is available very much, so get used to it. His rat stories .... the best. :)

Has midterm(s), paper, participation and student talk, so good variety in the courses. Knows the material in and out, and is enthusiastic as a kid in a candy store about it. True, he is hard to reach by email. But just find out his schedule (he hangs around before and after classes for a while). He's in my top favs!

Awesome prof, makes things so interesting and he is always making jokes. He is so smart and knows his stuff! He is very fair, but the class content is very difficult so be prepared to study. Has pop quizzes, so you do need to be prepared before class. Also did brain lab, people did really well, so can boost your mark there! One of fave profs!

Took his class for Brain and Behaviour.. he's fun makes the material much more interesting considering you are studying Bio and it's not easy for a lot of us to just know that stuff..he gives pop quizes which are created to HELP your mark and show you care about the class to stay up to date with readings which helps those less motivated.

Awesome prof! Shows enthusiasm for course and does his best to simplify material. My class did poorly on a midterm and he took away some of the questions, bumping my grade up 14%. Said that he just wants us all to understand and pass the course. Has a great sense of humour and very approachable. I hate statistics, but he made the class enjoyable.

Took Dave for Neuroscience, after Brain & Behaviour. He's an amazing guy, with one hell of a brain, and yes, the class is going to be insanely hard: Be prepared to spend 70% of your time on it. A word of advice: Study your ass off, and ask every question you can to get him to clarify things, even if you think it's a stupid question.

Received A+ in Neuropsych and Neuroscience. Dave is a very good professor, however, the most important thing is that you ACTUALLY WANT to learn about biological psych. DO NOT take this as an elective, the material is hard if you are not interested. Tests are super fair and he is very generous with marking. Great prof, one of my favorites here.

Best teacher ever!! Take any class you can with Froc, you won't regret it. The content may be challenging for those not strong in biology, but Froc does his best to make sure you understand the material. He'll emphasize what you should know (test worthy) and his exams are fair (MC and written). Interesting class with a funny guy :)TAKE FROC!!!

A really great prof who is incredibly knowledgeable in the psychology department. He will go over material thoroughly and ensure you understand it. He is really funny and really down to earth. Very easy on the eyes too ;-)!

He's easygoing and his lectures are great. He does homework online but you can do it as many times as you want to get a grade you like. His tests are completely multiple choice.

David is honestly the best teacher I've had! I took him for 1200 and will take him again for 2300 and beyond. Yes the weekly quizzes he gives can be mind dumbing but he lets you do them as many times as you want to get a good mark. Classes never last 3 hours and all exams were multiple choice for 1200. If you get the chance take him :)

David Froc is what made me decide to declare my major in Psychology. He is the best professor ever, and makes learning so much easier. TAKE HIM! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!

Mr. Froc is hilarious and a good guy, but I would almost say his tests are too easy. He definitely delivers the course well and is engaging, but it's very easy to a get a good mark.

The course subject matter is really difficult to begin with, but he makes it super enjoyable to be in class! He's funny and gives amazing analogies that help you remember things. His tests aren't too bad, considering how hard the subject matter is. You have to take Psych 2315 anyway, take it with someone who makes it fun!

My advice: READ THE TEXTBOOK. At first the lecture content felt a bit unclear and I had trouble following and making connections within the material, then I read the chapters I noticed how closely organized Froc's lectures match the text. He drops hints about important exam q's, always pay attention and stay alert. He's awesome and super funny too!

David Froc is a very funny and wise prof. He does his best to explain the course material in a way that the students can easily understand, but keep in mind that this course is very detailed and tough. Obviously people who don't study or care to read the textbook , will definitely not get an A. If you put in the work, you will get a good mark.

David Froc is a great teacher and a great guy. Very interesting to listen to. He's always willing to help if you ask for it. The course itself is on complex phenomena, so of course you have to study the material and the textbook in order to understand the concepts and to get a good grade. I would take a class with him again any day!

Froc isn't a bad teacher. His tests can be tough, and you have to use critical thinking to determine what should be the right answer. I did enjoy the class, and as long as you have a good work ethic you should get a decent grade (B). He seems like a genuinely nice guy who does care, and didn't give us a paper for the class. He offers bonuses too.

Take stats with him- you won't regret it. I'm okay at math, and I did really well in his class. I did have to read a lot before class and try to mentally absorb it, but he goes over things well in his lectures. He's always available for questions and he wants you to have a good experience with stats and doesn't pick on his students. Tests were good

Recommend this teacher. He was hilarious and engaging. He worked hard to make sure we knew everything and took care to teach at our pace. Very approachable also. Brain&Behaviour is a hard class no matter who u take it with (I took it twice, once with Robert) but u can tell David actually cares if u learn and will take the time to make it possible.

Doctor David John Froc is hard in more ways than one. His tests are hard, and his work is hard, but it's all worth it in the end. He's a good "profes" as you kids would say.

Amazing prof. Great sense of humour. Biopsychology is not an easy course at all, but he does very good in explaining what we are learning. Class consisted of 3 exams and comprehension checks work 15%. Comprehension checks are really basic. He gives students room for bonus marks.

Was a good psychology prof., read the textbook, and participating in class makes it more fun. He's funny and easy, just listen.

He's an amazing guy, he knows what he's talking about, although most of the class is taken talking about biopsychology, the class is fun and usually doesn't last the full 3 hours, 3 online tests, 1 assignment, very straight forward, would highly recommend.

I had this class online, which Dr.Froc was nice enough to do for us due to Covid. The class consisted of three exams and one brain lab. The exams are usually 20-40 multiple choice with written worth 12-15. Dr.Froc is extremely nice and very responsive. However the course material is a lot. Slides are loaded with to much information. Good luck

A wonderful professor. He did post his lectures a little late and did not explain things on the criteria quite well, but if you would ask him to clarify he would go above and beyond to help. Also, pushed exams and papers back which allowed students to have enough time to study and get the help they need. Overall, his empathy towards students shows!
