Dr. Gadish is a good professor. He relates the lectures to his real life experience. He motivate and challenges students to make a difference in the world. Test are MCQ and base on the book. 2 very easy assignments,1 Midtermn and 1 final.

How can I say this, BORING!!!!! If you like lecture halls and powerpoints, this is your guy. Otherwise, stay away or fall asleep in his class.
Very easy and nice. don't even have to go to class. very cool just try to solve questions in end. u will get an b or A deifnietly
He has a youthful attitude and presence in class. His stories and anecdotes provide fun and levity to an otherwise dull day. His teaching style is engaging (if you are interested in the topic)
powerpoints are duplcation of the text. his class can drag on but he give u candy if to make the class more fun. test are all definition wise. KNOW THE TERMS and youll do fine
Great teaching abilities. I learned a lot from him. He has a lot of experience in all domains. Loved his classes.
He is a nice guy. He wants shy students to speak up. If you are shy you might have a problem. Class meetings are held at the lecture hall, so it is a large class. Exams are easy.
Well considering it was his 1st time teaching the course, it was fun! He had a lot of stories... and a very energetic tone. I would suggest anyone to take him, just for his life lessons. He's a professor that doesn't stick to the book!
Good teacher.
This professor is such a bragger!!! He likes to tell life stories on how he has accomplished so much and about how he drives a convertible. And definetely not HOT! His lectures are BORING!!!
He was ok. I enjoyed his life stories. He tends to brag a lot about his mercedez. He was extremely easy and the book was TOTALLY unnecessary. Everything was from his lecture. I recommend taking him, make sure to sit in the back and catch up on your sleep.
Lectures are very clear but not the most interesting. His class is boring but comes up with a joke or two somethings to keep the class awake.
All comments about Gay-Dish are accurate, he's definitely a bragger and his lectures come from the book, which he just reads off the power point slieds. You don't even have to go to class, unless you want candy and to catch up on your sleep. Know the definitions - Easy tests.
GayDish? Damn homie, you mad doggie?

He's not bad but not great, either. He's okay. FORGET THE POWERPOINTS!He knows the marterial but he doesn't know how to teach it.He should just talk to the class more.Tell more lifestories and stop looking down at the powerpoints. We know how to read the powerpoints. Oh I don't think he is chinese. But, he's a nice guy if you talk to him after class.
The class itself is boring because of the boring material. The teacher is boring because he doesn't know how to teach the boring material. In any class, there are ways to delivery boring material in a surprising great way. But this guy doesn't know how to do that. Class itself is very easy. Don't go to class at all. Just learn all the key words!!!
boring lectures, CIS100 is easy exam, CIS301 has quite a lot of work. exams are quite easy though.
If you want to learn, stay away from him. If you can memorize his slides he's an easy A. However, he'll make life miserable to the point it becomes a burden to come to class. I learned nothing when I took this guy and had totally wasted my time. Take Rosenthal for 590 or Huarng for 520 - more reasonable and more fun.
Funny guy, boring class.
Does not teach the material. Too into himself.
Easy class, boring ass lecture. Always looking down at powerpoints and talks too much about himself. Homework is cake (save the tech sec. of LA Times for them) and midterm and final are easy. Take him but bring a pillow. Attendance not required. Know when assignments are due though if you plan on ditching.
For those who commented him as a poor professor are totally RIGHT!!! He is very involved with his life. The only thing he taught me in that class is his life and his little gadgets. Woo-hoo! Plus, he always talked about his business and how money comes flowing on him. Well, money would be flowing on me too if I teach like him.
i learned nothing important or relevant to the subject of the class. the material is easy but his tests/grading is hard. i didnt even know where i stood (gradewise) cause he doesn't hand back assignments marked. he talks like the world revolves around him. waste of my time!
Bad teacher. Tests are hard and class is not even relevant to Business. Homework is easy and pointless.
Sometimes I don't understand why CSULA does not have online classes. You may as well go and buy a CIS book and read it at home. His class is a waste of time, money, gas...you pretty much have to teach yourself...unless you already have a general idea about CIS, then it may be an easy class.
Okay this class is really stupid. It's in a lecture hall and it's a class about computers which should be tought in a computer lab. How the hell are we suppose to learn about PC's if were not using them in the class. He's exams and assignments are okay, but you don't need to go to class. Especially for you night students, he takes the whole 4 hrs.
Took this guy some time ago. Not interested in his students. Only interested in himself and political correctness. Tests not objective, makes you memorize, but has nothing to do with applying it. He doesn't know how to TEACH. I can teach this class better than him and make the class more fun. Definitely stay away from this guy. Former MSIS student
Class is a waste of time. Should be online class or just removed completely. Midterm and Final, 2 short writing assingments. Boring...
WORST TEACHER IN THE WORLD!
He's the type of teacher who really is self abosorbed with himself because he talks about all the money he makes and all his gadgets, is crap to me. You don't need to go to class and it should be online. Waste of time and waste of a class it's CSULA way of keeping us paying tuition longer. The guy is a jerk, just don't take him.
He is hot!!! too bad taken :(, easy to understand, follow the PPT and you will be in good shape to take his test :)
A lot of people are compaining about his lecture. I do agree that his lecture is pointless, but he gave alot of insight about what goes on inside corporate america. The lower income and minority student might have problem connecting with him but again this is what school is for, a bridge between student and corporation.
I like Prof. Gadish. He is a good instructor. His lectures are a bit boring but what do you expect from a CIS class with 200 people? He gave us 1 midterm, 1 final and two papers. Which is ok.
His class was ok. Didn't talk too much about business. Blah
He's unfair, complain why you got what you did, and ask him for an honest grade. Just do your work and you'll get the A.
Good professor, didn't learn much from his class though. A bit dry and boring, just stay home and study his powerpoints and you will get at least a C. I never show up to class and still get an A.
Worst experience that I have in his class
He's not helpful at all. Every night he talks about his business, life and so on. He doesn't have any teaching skill at all.
Guy talk about NOTHING else besides his personal life...and when someone asks him a questions regarding what he has been discussing(i.e. personal life) he says "I do not discuss my personal life with students). Go figure!
don't take this class with him. this class should be an easy A but he grades soo hard... for no reason! it's an INTRO to business class but we learned about nanotechnology and his $1000 jacket. i learned nothing about my major or option to consider. avoid him.
his class was always bored, but let us go little bit early. his exams are really really hard, you have to read whole book for final, no study guide at all. he always take a role, be in class....but still dont get good grade from him.
WORST TEACHER AND PERSONALITY! DO TAKE HIM
I like the class, guys lets face it, he could be worst. Write few papers, study PPT, and you shall be ready :). Peace Sofia.
A sharp prof. with a lot of experience. Gives great examples to clarify issues beyond the textbook.
I agree with the last person. He is good looking too. Yeh.
He gives some very inspiring talks about business and communications. Take his BUS 305 class.
Don't take any class with him. He only talks about personal life. It's very hard to get A no matter how hard you try, but easy B.
Prof Gadish is an interesting professor. His class is structured based on his power point presentations which are all available at his website. The exams was not fully covered throughout the class but his scoring is very reasonable and quite giving. His exams are all essay questions, but if you know the material, you will do just fine.
Sooooo booooring, but u can get a good grade if u do all the assignments. He teaches by ppts and there is 1 midterm and 1 final, both essay questions type. 2 assignments, one was about interviewing 5 real estate agents/brokers and the other assignment was to write a report about these interviews. Overall, he is very, very, very boring :S
He's OK
funny teacher, if you like his jokes and style. Yes, it's a rather vague class, the midterm and finals don't exact cover word-for-word from the Powerpoint he made. So, BS-ing is key. As mentioned, it is all essay.
Teaches from powerpoint slides, no need for the book. class is not mandatory, has a website with up to date info. 1 midterm, final, and 2 assignments. Easy class if you study for the tests.
book not required, attendance not required at all, download his powerpoint on his website ASAP bcuz he takes it down the next week, memorize everything from the slides and you will pass guaranteeed, curses in every other sentence, boring lectures. take this class if you just want to get by.
this guy is the worst CIS 301 teacher ever, I had registered for another teacher who was great but my luck this guy suck. He doesnt know how to teach at all its like being taught by Frankstein. Take another teacher!
Just reads from PPTs and makes you do projects for his personal business ventures. Awful! Do NOT take him!
He was an interesting Professor. I did find him somewhat easy for not attending all the classes.
I hate this professor: he is so full of himself. He talks about his personal life and accomplishments the whole class. You learn absolutely nothing but you're pretty much guaranteed a C. He's kind of cute but arrogant.
LOL! USELESS! Reads off the power points and makes observations in his own life and comes and tells us all about it. GREAT!!! at wasting our time. I attended three classes only, and I'm glad I did. When I asked classmates what they did last week they said "NOTHING, he told us about his wife and his cell phone, I shouldn't have come to class, damn!"
I learned more about his personal life than I did about the Business Department. Didnt use the textbook. He talked for an hour and then left us to interview each other. No feedback on any assignment turned in. Mideterm and final were 8-10 questions. All assignemtns were based on personal opinions. Still wondering how I got a C??
Learn nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!If you want C and waste your time and your life, you can choose his class.
This's big joke he can be a teacher! He doesn't know how to teach. His major is CIS, but why the school let him teach busi301. He parades how successful his business is. He makes a 4-pages long syllabus, and then told to his student:"don't look at the textbook on it. I found another interest book to be used-Thinking Critically." Do not take him!!!
the first intro to business class i took and i did not learn anything about the business options! pretentious and useless... i cannot believe i got a B in this stupid class.
Useless! And kill your grade. Even straight A student still got C in this stupid useless class!!!! He is foxy business man. However, he won't tell how he make it. Just tell his business is growing while the economy is down.
He has very unusual teaching methods. i am of the opinion that he is trying to show us that there is more to life than just taking the school standard classes.
Interesting real world approach. Funny his way. Critical of everything, which is a good thing.
VERY EASY A. JUST GO TO CLASS EVERYDAY AND DO ALL YOU WORK (IT DOES NOT TAKE MORE THAN 10MIN TO DO) THE MID-TERM AND FINAL IS REALLY EASY, IF YOU ATTEND CLASS. TALKS ABOUT REAL LIFE AND THE CLASS GOES BY FAST. VERY EASY A.
Basically only talks about his small business the entire class period and maybe every 30 minutes he will reference something that has to do with the class. Very fickle in his assignments and can be very condescending to students. Do not take unless you want to laugh at his crappy jokes and pretend like you care about his personal life!
AWESOME PROFF. He's hot, awesome funny, and knows his stuff. He's my fav proff. He's one of those proff that are just pure awesome. <3 H.
Class is based off his own examples. The book is needed to understand the concepts and ideas since he does not teach out of the book. He only uses the book in class to base the main points in his lecture. 1 midterm and 1 final and pointless assignments in between, all easy.
Aweful. He comes to class late and unprepared. Does not give feedback of how you are doing in class. Lectures are vague and so are his test. He does not grade the "assignments". He is very cocky. He has no structure in teaching. DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS! HE DOES NOT DESERVE TO TEACH!
I really enjoyed taking this professors class. He was very helpful in terms of the real world. He got straight to the point. Assignments were simple.
Pretty uneven professor, he accused my friend and I of not taking his course seriously. Lied to me on more than 3 occasions, about his 'business', family and values. Weird, creepy, and defiantly not trusty material.
1 Midterm and 1 final. easy grader. The test time he give u is short so answer the questions quickly and short, he doesn't like long answers. Listen to his lecture, go thru the book. He is very lenient on grading. He is nice. But I didn't learn anything from this class.
Took his course last quarter. He just sais it the way it is. Sharp guy. A lot of business experience. Easy with the grade.
The funniest lecture in my three years in school. Talked about presenting in front of people. He was great!
At the end of last weeks lecture we clapped him. Not a usual thing to do at the end of lectures. He is good.
He is a Knowledgable Professor with a lot of business experiences. Highly recommended for those who want to learn something in business (Real world).
Was a good quarter. Learned a lot from him. He knows his stuff.
He doesn't give you the information you need to think about the material and judge for yourself. He covered what he thinks is important, gives a very narrow view, then skips everything else. Good at teaching what he knows but his business knowledge is very limited. Want to know how something applies to different businesses? You won't find it here.
He is funny. Take the course. Has all kinds of business experience, and knows his material.
OK Guy, interesting stories. Experienced and informative. Take the course with him. You will understand business better.
Great guy, open minded, encourages participation, might seem intimidating at first, but he's not really like that. Make sure to follow his EXACT directions on the exam. Some of the things he said I did not agree one, but overall he knows his stuff, mostly from real life experiences and not the book. Enjoyed his class, will recommend him to everyone
AMAZING! Learned a lot each week. Real World.
He knows his stuff. Ask him any questions about business. He is good.
just try to pay attention and take notes it will be on his 5 question tests. if u can take gadish instead of the other bus 305 profs, a lot less work...if any. just memorize ur notes u b ok.
He reviewed my resume and his classroom advice helped me get a job. Talk to him if you need help with reviewing your resume.
Great lectures. Started a business after his inspiring lecture on the topic. Make sure you participate. You get points for it.
Don't buy the book! Course is based off lectures only. Attendance is mandatory for points and notes. Midterm and final was easy if you study the notes you have taken in class, only 5 questions each. His lectures were very interesting and informative because he tells you what is expected in the real world today. follow his directions for the exams!
Prof. Gadish is probably the best business communication professor in CSULA. As always, he is intimidating at first, but he is very friendly and funny. He's very straight forward. He only gives people who participate in class an "A". One midterm and one final. Both test only 5 questions from lecture notes. Great overall experience.
Good practical business advice mixed in with his lectures. Common sense tips on how to get a job and be successful in the business world.
Great lecture last night on getting a job in this difficult market. He has many good ideas. Funny way of presenting them.
If you have an ounce of office related experience, you will be bored to death, as I was. It was torture! The only saving grace is that he is funny, amiable and attractive. I was appalled by the questions the students asked. Easy grade but the catch requires to endure 4 hours of lecture.
He makes fun of other students. He is funny but can be rude at times. His tests are difficult. He said it only takes him 10 seconds to go through each bluebook. I dont know how he grades given that. No group project.
He is so funny. Tells everything as it is. Blunt but honest. Learned from him more then in any other class.
Great professor, I loved his class. Take good notes do all the class assignments and you'll have a good shot for an A.
One of the best teachers for BUS 305. Weekly assignments, 1 midterm, 1 final. He is sometimes funny, which helps makes the class more enjoyable.
Funny and smart.
Best prof. Very sharp.
Very smart and successful man. Has had a lot of experience in business world. He doesn't give you lessons from a book, but rather the real world stuff of what you will face. Can kind of bore, but overall a great professor.
No textbook required. Does swear a lot in class, but makes the class fun. Definitely full of himself on the first and second class meetings, bragging about his expensive house in Beverly Hills and his success as a consultant. Gives blue book exam and midterm, but doesn't actually look at your work - grades mostly on your final project.
the worst class ever. didn't learn anythings just waste of time and money. i think i will learn useful info but totally opposite happen. take with someone else if u can.
OMG!!!!
His class is super easy. Attend every class even though he says you don't have to. Take very good notes! He follows the book's topics but his exams are based solely on his lectures. HW every week, but it's easy.
did nothing in the class. no respond on the assignments and his midterm and final is only 6 question but anything you write he expect something else. you should be talkative. if you aren't dont take his class. he likes talkative students.
He is great. Knows his stuff. Speaks from experience. Motivates for success. Take the course if you need direction. Grading is fair.
By far one of the worst teachers. No book was ever used because he has very negative views on the book required by his own department. Lectures were predominantly on his personal life and not on CIS. I learned absolutely nothing useful in this class. Don't insult your intelligence with this teacher- he's not worth it.
Gadish is smart, and funny. Some lectures are very funny. Covers all topics from the book, but tells it based on his experience.
Knows the topic inside out. Great resource. Bases his lectures on his personal business experience. Learned a lot.
Gadish is laid back and comes to class like he doesn't have a plan. I think he plans in his mind on the car ride to work, but nothing more. Some classes are very relevant, some are a waste of time. Mostly practical teachings, with too many long personal stories that he really stretches to relate to the class. I wouldn't recommend this professor.
Spent an hour telling us stories last night... leaned more from that then in a marketing class during the whole quarter.
gadish a socalled phd lives in a fantasy. He talks about himself through the whole qtr. He has a narrow point of view,he thinks 90210 is success, yet teaching evening classes. right dude keep telling yourself that. He brings down other students to make himself feel better of failed life. bias grader. Take him for a guaranteed GPA drop.
Very biased grader. Grades you on how much you talk in class. He gives A or B to students who talk in class. C to the rest. If you don't come to class at all and just come to the midterm and final you are guaranteed a C. Do not buy the textbook.
Gadish is funny. Stories with no end... but learned more then from most other profs.
Great understanding of business and IT strategy and simple funny explanations with personal stories and more stories. Makes complicated things simple.
I'd not suggest this professor.
Knows his project management stuff. Many real world examples and tips. Learned more then from any other professor I had.
If you want to learn how to be successful after you graduate , remember what he taught for his life lessons, it is useful in your life. There are some easy homework. As long as you write down everything what he say in the class, you will be fine in the midterm and final. Write fast!! You have probably an hour to answer 5 questions. no books need:)
He knows so much about different topics. Ask him anything related to management or business or management aspects of technology and he has great detailed answers.
He is too funny. Lots of stories. All you do is listen to his stories all evening... and learn so much from him. Amazing.
Very informative and real life experience class. Takes examples to explain nicely and clearly. Not many tests and no books required. Very cool prof with a lot knowledge. make him remember your name then its a easy A.
Such a fun class. You get to learn and have a great time together. Tests are easy and participation in class is important. I would definitely take him as my professor for future classes.
He He He's funny, and knows all kinds of stuff. Learned more from him about business than in many other courses combined. Took 3 courses with him. He's good.
Wow. Started the semester, and he has all these stories that show you the way things are. Blows you away. Take him for a different perspective on things.
This guy is a lunatic. Not sure what to say? As others have said - go to class, make him remember your name (harder than it seems). All tests will be over what he mentions in class. I've never had another professor like him but with that being said - I appreciate his uniqueness. He is unorganized, unreliable, and a little lazy. But def. try him out
Be assured of non-stop entertaining action with Gadish. He is sharp, fast and very opinionated. You will learn and learn and learn, mostly how to think critically and independently. I have become a better thinker with him.
Hilarious. What can I say, he has a great story for every topic he teaches. Very easy to understand. Opened my eyes to so much. And you have to participate to get an A in this course.
Funny, teases a lot, you have to participate in class to get a better grade. He needs to remember your name. Does not really lecture off of the book, just teaches based off his own life stories and experiences. It is hard to figure out exactly what to focus on for the exams but write notes in class about main points discussed relavent to chapters.
Most unorganized professor I have ever taken. This professor does not have a fixed guideline for his project. He expected us to write more than 50 pg in 1 week and build a professional website. His project is super duper overwhelmed. Pay attention to his lectures to do final and midterm (4-5 silly questions in total)
Participate daily in order to get a good grade in the class. This class is a joke, the professor is unprepared and he goes off course frequently speaking about his personal life. Their are close to no assignments and tests are no more than 5 questions. If you're looking for an easy class, where your grade is based on participation take him.
This was a great course by a great professor. Changed the way I view the world, and how technology is transforming it. Take the course. Gadish goes by the book covering each chapter with his life stories. Interesting. Learned more than in any other course.
What can I say? He is special. Brilliant in his own way. You will see the world in a different way by the end of the course. Not funny, but makes everything look so funny. You will lough and cry. The way to get an A is take good notes. No book, all from his lectures. Make sure to attend his lectures.
Inspiring very smart teaches based on stories about his life and experiences. Have to attend or you will fail the exams. Easy assignments.
Like everyone said, Professor Gadish is a wild card as a teacher. Do not expect to learn any textbook or formal information. He lectures solely based off life stories and experiences. Participation matters. If the class is mandatory, only take him if it is not directly relevant to your major. You will laugh and you will come out with more insight.
Hehehe... talks and talks. Lots of stories. Learned more than with any other professor. Will take another course with him for sure.
Professor is funny and all he talks about is how the robots are coming. He only has a few assignments and 1midterm and 1 final both only 5 questions. Participate a lot and always say your name before if you do he'll remember your name and you will get a better grade.
I love his theories about everything. Ask him a question, and he has an interesting answer to share. Will take him again.
Interesting at first, but eventually began to dread going to this class. He just rants and rambles about random "life lessons" but teaches nothing. Often makes students feel belittled when answering questions, claiming HE is always correct, which can be discouraging in a class where participation matters. He's annoying, obnoxious, and a bit rude.
Gadish means well. I think he just likes sharing his knowledge (& perhaps bragging about his life a little along the way), rather than teaching from a textbook. Class can get a bit boring at times, but overall a cool class that I would recommend. Just come to class, listen, do a few assignments, and pretty fair and easy midterm/final
Talks a lot. Lots of stories, all about his life but links it extremely well to the topics of the course. You either love his style or hate it. Learned more with him without a book than with professors that go by the book.
We clapped for him at the end of the semester. He deserved it. I love his style. Would take another course with him, but graduating.
Great teacher. Gadish is a story teller. Learned a lot.
Great Course
Great professor, his lectures consist of a mix of stories that relate to course and real life scenario. Clear grading study over notes and you will do good. Test consist of questions peers suggest ; ) Everyone else is FAKE NEWS! Take Gadish!! He is a fun teacher that makes your lectures enjoyable and memorable which help on test!
Gadish is the whole package, good and bad. He knows business and information systems and you will learn regarding those topics. The method of learning said subjects is through "stories" that revolve around one or more of the themes of the course. He will also give real life examples from his life mostly.
Didn't use powerpoints, told stories every night that somehow tied into CIS, random written assignments emailed directly to him, doesn't use Canvas, make sure he knows YOUR NAME, speak up and challenge him on his topics and he will love you. One midterm and one final - each about 5 questions made up by the students.
The key to getting an A in this class: Make sure he remembers your name and speak to him whenever you get the chance in class. Taught us many life lessons that is really useful :)
Gadish is a brilliant blast with non-stop stories. Learned more so far this semester than from any other of my professors.
Not easy to get a higher grade, even past the class. It is difficult to learn something, the professor is not based on the book, so it means that you really don't need to buy book. Midterm is hard because the five questions randomly selected from students who ask but the professor will make them more difficult! Taking notes is not easy!
Not that great
Honestly, after having taking loads of other professors from the college of business, Gadish stands out as one of the few who makes learning interesting. Don't listen to those who have given him a bad rating, if you are an open-minded individual you will learn many VALUABLE lessons from him. Very chill and easy class all together.
Awesome professor. We clapped for him at the end of the course. I have not been in another course where students appreciated their teacher so much.
He is not a typical professor. Makes the most boring topics interesting. Has stories are eye-opening, like no other professor that I met.
Smart man. Makes a boring subject interesting and shows how it affects daily life. You won't regret taking this class.
Gadish is one of the worst professors I have ever had. There is no study guide for the midterm or final. It was 10 questions and you get 5 mins. The zoom meetings are mandatory. You have to have your video on and participate to get credit. He goes off on tangents unrelated to the material. He says a lot of offensive things. Avoid at all costs!!!!!
Gadish is one of the worst professors I have ever had. Do not take his class.
Gadish has his haters. The midterm was different. Only 10 minutes and 5 questions. The questions make you think and fast. I think he is fabulous. Sharp as a nail. Grades on a curve and no one gets less than a C. I got an A!
Lots on homework. Not fun part of the course. He is smart, good teacher. Best course ever.
I have mixed feelings, he was really cool and funny but I guess I'm just used to traditional teaching from the textbook. He tells A LOT of real-life stories that have to do with the topics we have to learn, so take notes ! We only had the midterm and final for test and they were only 5 questions for 10 mins based on his stories & PARTICIPATE for A!
Midterm and final are 5 makeup questions in 10 minutes so heart attach, time run fast. They worth 500 points/ each. Student got from 150 to 400 pts. Hard to take notes and listen to his story. Grade depend on feeling, won't show final grade on canvas, just see grade once school post.
Waste of time. You never learn anything. All he talks about is his book he wrote and his life stories. We get it you wrote a book and you're a sales man now. He doesnt care what reviews he gets and what people think about him because hes tenured. He makes it very apparent he is tenured so no matter what he wont be held accountable.
Interesting lectures. You have to think about his real life stories in order to understand the lesson he want to understand. Some students might take offense but I enjoyed learning his point of views. You will learn the basics from the textbook on your own.
bro i literally have been at school for 5 years now and this dude was the reason why i made an account. DON'T! not even if he's your last resort... DON'T DO IT! i am sitting here trying not to cry as he narcissistically talks about his books and his childhood. ALSO how am i supposed to type a midterm in 10 mins when i cAN BARELY TYPE AT ALL!? don't
Unusually refreshing perspective on everything. Learned more than in other courses. Midterm questions came from his lectures. If you did not attend, you did not get the A.
Read the book and did the assignments. Come to zoom lectures. Exams based on his perspective, not the book. Easy A coming. Interesting lectures.
Do NOT take him especially if your major is CIS. He provides incorrect information as you'll most likely teach yourself with the textbook. Midterm and final are in the same format. 5 written questions in 10 minutes. Anything he says or makes up during lecture WILL appear on the exam. Also, he will be rude if you ask him a question outside of class!
One of the better professors I have taken at csula. Makes you work. Gotta come to lectures. Hard exams but grades on a curve and ended up with a good grade.
What can I say... for details read the book, for the big picture come to class. He is into strategy and big lessons. Some love it some hate it.
I took his course a few years ago. It's been years. Dont remember much from all the lectures and all the professors. I remember Gadish and his endless stories. He was right. The business world is full of B-S. I did not think much about his stories than, but I appreciate his lessons now. Changed my life.
Half way through. Easy book, easy lectures on zoom. Looking forward to an A.
Easy grade. Easy prof. Easy book.
Easy course.
Overall, the professor is decent. There are weekly discussions (initial post and reply twice). The book you'll need is a book he wrote himself, and it's pretty easy to understand. But for the midterm and final, he will only give you ten minutes to answer (five questions total). You'll really need to study and remember the topics.
Easy course. Prof. wrote his own book available for students on amazon, cheap which is cool. Make sure you turn in assignments on time does not give second chances or makeups. cool videos more about life and personal experience relating to topic of the week. midterm & final is 5 questions with short answers in 10 min. grades on a curve.
Easy course on Canvas with no live lessons or zoom, easy to follow book and videos Hard midterm but the professor grades on a curve so I got an A anyways Easy if you read the book and watch his videos
Was an easy course. Expecting an A.
Easy homework and book. However, it is mandatory to buy his book from his Amazon page. Also, his exams are notorious as many others stated. 5 short answer questions. All in 10 mins. Highly recommend you type answers in the simplest way possible; 2 sentences per question. Besides that, he does not care what his students think due to being tenured.
Gadish doesn't have any information technology knowledge or experience, so don't expect to learn anything in this course. Also, you are REQUIRED to buy the "textbook" that he self-published on Amazon. He even put a bunch of fake reviews on there. This guy is a conman.
Professor Gadish has many videos for each chapter of the book he wrote. Easy to understand. Easy grade! I texted him once or twince to ask questions, and he responds quick.
So far an easy course. Read the book. Do the weekly work. Easy grades so far.
Easy book, watch the videos! Did not do well on the midterm, but he curves the grades so this will be an easy A.
One of the easiest courses I took. But lots of assignments. The exams are 10 minutes which is very little time but he curves them.
Easy course and professor.
Professor Gadish only had us meet in class once for the whole semester but did note that, that may not be the case next semester. He is very easy to reach and caring. The work consisted of one discussion per week that was very easy. I bought the text book but he uploaded videos on each lesson so I regret buying it. I would take him again!
he came at the start of the year and told us that he has to come to each lecture and teach but students do not have to. so that was the last time i came. everything online. worked out great. easy. his vids clarify his book.
This is my second time taking him. You can easily contact him if you are confused about the assignments. We had one weekly homework assignment and assignments due at the end of the week; they were incredibly easy to do. My only warning is that the midterm and final are only 10 minutes long for 5 questions, two minutes for each question! He curves!
Easy class to pass since he doesn't fail anyone but also so easy to receive a mediocre grade. He grades primarly on weekly discussions DONT forget to complete those. Two exams midterm and final, only gives 10 mins for it so good luck finishing it. Makes you also buy HIS book in order to complete the assignments.
Easy course, book. Like they said before you gotta do the weekly work or you will be in trouble.
Easy class, but don't let the weekly discussions fool you. The professor's self-published textbook is helpful, and Unstuck study was a lifesaver for exam prep. Just watch out for the strict 10-minute midterm and final!
Weekly discussion boards based off his published book, you need to buy. It's easy since the book practically gives you the answers. The midterm was only 10 min, it was on sat @9:00pm-9:10pm,which was weird, 5 Qs but the 5th had 2 Qs in it so technically 6 Qs. The answers are phrased weird so i expect the final to be the same. Overall he's alright
Tough grader. Prepare for 10 min exams at 9pm-9:10pm on Saturday nights. Only required work are discussion boards, but do not be fooled. Mid term and final will bring your grade of an "A" down with lengthy questions to answers and only 10 mins to spare. Other than that, pretty easy class that requires to purchase is own published book..
Easy course if you do a lot of work and submit the assignments on time.
Take this course for an easy A.
