Prof Hansen is awesome! He keeps class interesting (he's funny) and relates the material to the students. I actually wanted to go to class and learn for a change. I made an A and it didn't take much effort. DO the study guides (sorry guys, that means reading), they help a ton. I wish I could go back and take Hansen for other history course.

Funny and interesting and all that. but hey all this doesnt get you a passing grade. i took him i like him but his tests are difficult all these guys saying its not all that hard. He throws out tricky question on tests and gives you a 30 sum pages of review to do for the test. very good teaching skills. You have to do work to make a good grade.

Boring subject made fascinating. He's got a good sense of humor and radiates a ton of energy. Relatively large amount of work for this class (Chapter quizzes for each test + chapter study guides), but you'll ace the 3 tests and final if put in the work. Video lectures available on WebCT so if you miss a class you're still able to get notes.
