VERY easy class. 95% of the homework is done online. I was surprised by how much I learned by just doing the homework online. Easy group quiz's every Friday. Mid-terms are super easy as long as you do the homework. I HIGHLY recommend him. I wish he taught Math 120 and up.

Great guy, funny, wacky, helpful, wise, and likes to be called "The Source." He teaches clearly and makes jokes while teaching the problems.(but you still get it) Take his class you won't regret it.

I took Math 811 with David. First Math teacher I felt comfortable enough to learn Math with. I was extremely embarrassed of my low math level. I learned a lot through his visual teaching style and funny character. I strongly recommend going to his office hours in TLC and doing the homework! Also go to class! He?s a good teacher. Take him.

David is a nice guy. He pretends not to care but deep down he does care. If he sees that you dont care he tries to turn you around in his own unique way, offers every opportunity for you to pass. There is no way anyone should fail his class.He is very easy to talk to & I can relate to the guy.His pain is my pain.If you want to learn take his class.

David, is a free spirit teacher. He makes Math fun and understandable.Yeah might lose your homework or test, but he will find it eventually.If you want to have fun and learn, I recommend to take his class!

Very easy class. Extremely clear. His enthusiasm made it very enjoyable and easy to understand.I highly recommend this class. Most of hw is online. Doesnt matter if he loses ur hw, becasue then you can easily convince him to let you do it over. EXTREMELY LENIENT.

great teacher! attendance is definitely mandatory because he collects the group work and counts them as quiz's usually. his test are bomb! he's super cool because it's multiple choice and you just have to show your work and the answer doesnt matter as much as long as you show your work! bring your book to class!

David is an awesome teacher! He really spices the class up with his hilariously energetic personality. He cares about teaching and really wants to make sure you understand the concepts, even if it means falling behind on the semester's lessons. I took David's class a few semesters ago. I am not a math person, but David learning math very easy because his lectures are crystal clear. He welcomes questions in the middle of his lecture and will answer e-mail if you e-mail his a question. He's also available in the tutoring center.

What a fantastic math teacher. I never thought I could like a math class or even a math teacher but this teacher proved me wrong. Not only is he easy on the eyes but he does his best to lend extra support and tutoring to those with math anxieties (like ME). You must do the work but you will do well with this teacher.

Very fair teacher, he encourages students to contact him if they need help whether by email, FB, texting, etc. He is humorous. His tests are based on homework assignments from MyMathLab so you really just need to do the homework and fully understand it! But he does allow a notecard for the tests. He is prone to being a bit late sometimes.

he's awesome very funny and very understandable with students situation. notes is clear n teachings is very clear he made math fun n easy for me. lots of group work which i love and he uses internet access which is so much better then carrying a heavy ass book, online helps more with tutoing and connections with other students and ur professor.

Needless to say that David Hasson is a math genius, but he is humble. He really wants you to get it & does everything in his power to make that happen. He is always available and will give you extra credit to make up the points, if necessary. He lets the class decide the grading %'s, and just wants you to try. It's intense, but he's the best!

Professor Hasson is a great guy. He loves students to ask questions about something they do not understand, he explains questions very clearly. But sometime he is late for class for 5 mins. You can allow your cheet sheet which use help you to do the best well. Just show up what u get then you will be easy to get A in his class.

I'm so blessed to have had David this semester. I've feared math for years. David is Funny, Energetic, and Inspirational. Going in to this class I was already thinking the worse! David made it much easier for everyone to understand math and he has a great approach at it! I took this Math Jam so I can place out of algebra and get into a transferable course. David and the other tutors are very helpful and are always there for you to clarify and assist. David is funny and organized. He teaches good study skills and well prepares you to retake placement test or prep for your next course. I placed into desired class.

The most transparent, and helpful professor out there. You will learn math as long as you listen and take notes. I'm an average student, I always get B's or C's but in this class I never fell below an A. He is hands down one of the best professors I've had at skyline.

David is a great professor. He's clear in his teaching, his teaching style is pretty laid back and takes things slow, and makes the class pretty easy. His tests are only one page, front and back, and the homework takes only like 30 mins-an hour at the most.

THE BEST MATH TEACHER EVER. I really wish he taught Stats, since I will be needing to take it next. I've always been terrible at Math, however I received an A- this spring semester. He doesn't require textbook which is awesome and alot of his lectures can be learned through assigned online videos. Do your hw. Notes allowed on tests.

I've never gotten an A in math and I finally did because of David. He is by far my favorite teacher ever. Five chapter exams and final, let's you have a page of notes on exams and final. Professor Hasson was one of a kind. I was placed in Basic Mathematics and he was the professor. He is very kind, understanding, patient and a very good teacher and listener. I am pretty bad at Math but taking David's class made me feel comfortable and at ease. And I overcame my fear of Math and actually got good grades. I got a B for my grade.

Hasson is an easy going teacher. His classes fill up fast, so you better signup fast. Communication is key, you always are welcome to leave class early, but you miss his whimsical joking. Funny and helpful. Lots of group tests.

David Hasson is amazing and funny professor. His class is really easy and it's at your own pace. If you miss test or didn't do them he will give you the chance to. Although he is a procrastinator on a lot of things he is very approachable and will help you if needed. TAKE HIM YOU WON'T REGRET IT!

Ive always have a love/ hate relationship with math but the way David teaches it is EXTRODANARY! I love math now! I wish he teached higher than 120. But you wont regret taking this class at all. David is a very compassionate professor, I wish I knew about him in my first semester at Skyline. He is fairly fast-paced during lectures, so have your phone ready to use for a picture if you don't write fast. His class is manageable if you struggle with math and he will assist, especially during the last hour in the lab. Be sure to study for tests

Hasson is just one of those one of a kind teachers. I always recommend him to incoming freshmen when they ask for who to take. I would take him for any math class. You won't find another teach who is dedicated to getting to know you and help you succeed. 10/10 would recommend. I still talk to him today whenever I see him.

Literally one of the most caring professors I've ever had. He really roots for us and you can tell he wants to see us succeed. If you need help with anything, go to office hours and he'll walk you through it. I fell behind and really didn't have faith with catching up, but thanks to him there's a high chance that I'll finish with an A.

I took this professor in the fall of 2017 as a new high school graduate. He is always there for you and wants you to succeed. He is funny and passionate as a teacher and students lucky to have him and he remembers his students. To this day, Professor Hasson still remembers my name and it is a great thing to have a teacher remember you.

Professor Hasson was a professor who cared. Instead of having to pay for a textbook, he lets us make our own textbooks throughout the year. His workload was also the perfect amount.

Path to Calc with David was really fun. He was really helpful when you didn't know the material. There aren't a lot of tests, and the environment of the class is very collaborative and welcoming.

I love Professor Hasson, he very clearly cares about his students as people. The class is structured to make math less intimidating though I do admit I did not retain much throughout the semester because of the more lax style of teaching (not his fault!). Tests have unlimited retakes and homework deadlines can be pushed if you ask.

Quirky professor. Lots of weekly HW but after some time you get the hang of it. 1-3 khan academy quizzes. 1 assignment of a self reflective video and 1 of you showing what you learned. 1 assignment on the weeks lecture. This was a weekly thing. Flexible and midterm and final where EASY and done in groups. random quizzes but done in groups after.

He's very funny, probably the funniest teacher I've ever had. He brought up his parents' divorce out of nowhere and made the whole class burst out laughing. I guarantee that you will pass this class even with the least amount of effort because every assignment is due on Sunday and the concepts we learn are made easily understood. Great professor.

This teacher is aware that math isn't for everyone, but he makes it easy for us with a variety of ways. While there is a lot of homework, the work is mainly Khan Academy stuff and assignments correlating to our well beings and self care. His teaching methods are quite lively and expect to do a bunch of group related work. Overall he's a fun teacher

You just need to keep up with homework and showing up is mandatory.
