I cant believe people gave this guy such a high grade! Everyone and I MEAN EVERYONE knows hes the hardest math teacher in all of GCC. His nick name is Vin Diesel but I call him the Magician becomes in order for you to get an A in his class it's magic.

He is sooo fine! his tests are verrrry hard (he mixed in new concepts with old), he is a really nice guy though. you can pass with a C

I had him in summer school. He's a really difficult teacher. He gives too much notes considering it being a Math class, NOT history. Tests are way different than what he teaches. :(

HE IS A COOL AND NICE GUY, BUT I HATE THE FACT THAT HE IS TAKING ATTENDECE IN THE BIGINING AND END OF EVERY CLASS.

Have had him for 2 math classes, half the people end up failing the tests and evetually fail the class because of the difficulty of his tests, but he is very fair, very nice, and young and hip so he knows wsup

@ 1st I didnt want 2 take the class but my 1st 5 sec. in his class was heaven! I couldnt stop staring @ him!! Just like his looks, his teaching method is A++! I understand everything & he's ALWAYS there to help! Very approachable and attentive! I love it!

HOTT!!! makes u WANT to listen. but even if u don't listen you'll get it bcuz he explains it in the most simple & easy way so u could understand it. if u still don't get it, he's ALWAYS there to help after class & during his office hours! very easy to talk to, but tests are hard..if you don't study!

Very good teacher. Recommend it to anyone. He's very clear and doesn't make difficult things complicated. He's also really good looking.

Super easy. I never showed up to class and got almost 100%. Highly reccomended for students who have trouble in math because he doesn't rush too much.

Kool guy. Math courses, particularly pre-cal, aren't easy at all. So it's not the teacher, I guess it's just the nature of this course. Over all, I'm giving him a B+ for his helpfulness, clarity, and grading.

taking this course during winter session was tough... a lot of material in such a short amount of time. he's an awesome teacher. very straightforward in teaching style, but tests are somewhat on the difficult side... doing the homework helps. HE'S ALSO VERY HANDSOME =) EASY ON THE EYES!

His tests are generally difficult but the class is not too difficult if you real put the time in to study.

He's a very good math teacher but very hard grade. Basically you'll learn math but ultimatley unless your great at the subject get a B or C. A's were freakishly rare. Most drop because hes so hard but overall hes a good teacher. Oh yea btw hes not hot like all these girls say he is.

This guy is the nicest, the coolest, most interesting teacher that anyone can have. He is a very good looking person. He teaches so good that you will remember at least 90% of what you learn in his class, no doubt. Take his class and you won't regret it.

Greatest math teacher I have had here. I finally understand algebra. He is a really nice guy who knows how to teach math, and he always tells you what's going to be on the tests. I had him in the summer session. All I wanted to do was test the class before taking it in the Fall, but I actually got an A. Take him!!!!!!!

Great teacher, he explains and answers all the questions that you have. He teaches what he will test, so if you pay attention, you'll get an A. Very friendly, willing to stay after class if you have more questions to ask. Give you answers that you'll understand. So highly recommanded, set a strong foundation for your next math class.

Yeah he's really hot blah blah blah, but by the end of the semester you will want to kill him and make it look like an accident! He's so annoying. He grades really hard on tests, takes off points for little things, but at least he tells you exactly what will be on exams.

Holmes is the best math teacher i have ever had. He's very clear and energetic,and he really cares about his students, and he's very available to help. His teaching style makes math very accessible. The tests aren't noticeably harder than any other math tests i've taken, and like any other math class, you have to work for an A. He's cute too.

David is a great teacher. He definitely makes sure you get that stuff. He will actually start explaining you staff that u didn't get from previous lectures. Extremely helpful, fun, energetic. Knows what he is talking about and understands the students. BESIDES HE IS VERY HOT. that makes u enjoy the class more.

This guy is one of the clearest math teachers I've had. His ability to teach is excellent and his examples make everything crystal clear. A++

If you have struggled in math before, you will struggle in this class! Holmes goes very fast!! You need to take fast notes, and he might not even use a day to review for the tests, he is clear and all, but hard. His tests are also hard...THe homework is very easy but when it comes to tests, he makes it supper hard! Wanna get an A? Good luck!

holmes is a cool teacher but i can say his tests were pretty hard. hw is collected the day the test is given which is good. overall good teacher but you gotta studyyyy.

Holmes is a great teacher. He can be pretty understanding, but doesn't have a lot of time outside of class. You will totally learn and retain what he teaches you. WARNING: His tests can be tricky because they aren't like the homework problems. He makes up his own and they absolutely require that you understand the material very well.

Professor Holmes teaches very well. He makes the material easy for all students. Do not be afraid to ask a question; he will answer it with detail until you can understand it. All of his homework are do on test day. His test are based on his lectures, but it connects with the textbook; however, if you did not get all the notes the book will help.

Holmes is the best teacher anyone can take. Even though, he does give a lot of tests they are very easy because you know exactly what the questions are going to be like the day before. If you do your work, try hard and listen this class is an easy A class.

Great professor, i have failed all math classes before but he makes it easy and class fun to attend.

Mr. Holmes is a great Instructor he explains the material with clarity and good english. If you put the time and effort you wont be disapointed. He has been my best math instructor.

The only students that say that David Holmes is hard are the ones that don't want to study ( the lazy ones). His tests are very easy and clear. I had Math 101 with this teacher a couple of years ago and even though, I have transferred to university now I still remember him as the best teacher I have ever had. P.S. he is SMOKIN' HOT!!!!!!!!!!

I hadn't taken math in 2 yrs so I was really rusty, but he helped a lot and I did very well. He's very nice, has a charming smile, nicest biceps I have ever seen. Highly recommend this teacher. Tests arent hard if you study, and he gives you study material too.

Very enthusiastic and fun teacher....GCC should have him teach higher level math courses and let the boring old ones take a back seat to him. He grades tests right away so that you know the next day what you scored. Very Good teacher!!

The best math teacher i have ever had. He is very clear with his explanation and he actually cares if his students understand the material being taught. He gives amazing notes from which it is easy to study for the test. If the notes are understood then the test will be very easy.

He is a very good teacher...he clearly explains everything is very helpful his test are somewhat hard but he always reviews before just do the homework attend class ask questions and you will be fine

LLOOOOOOOVE Him. How can you not he is very clear and his test are no different than a question from the book. I mean he is reallly good, besides from his charismatic character he is also very handsome you just simply cannot ignore that. I just people can appreciate him more. BUT girls He is a man of FAMILY so Dont get your hopes up!

Professor Holmes is a very nice and excellent teacher. His instructions are not boring at all. All you have to do is do your homework everyday and study for the exams. He has a great attitude. Extremely helpful, and very clear when explaining everything he does.

Took Math 101 over summer. We had 3 test+final. The homeworks take about 2-3 hours each (mon-thur). Before each test there is a review sheet which is extremely similar to the test. He explains everything very clearly, and is extremely helpful. Very smart guy. Definitely recommend him. Shame won't teach in GCC for fall.

Great and Excellent math professor. He's very helpful and nice. I recommend taking any math class he teaches.
