Great professor. Explains material well. Not an easy course though. A lot of work and he expects a lot from you.

He's an excellent professor when it comes to teaching and explaining material, however he demands that you are consistent with your work, and know your stuff before doing an exam. Exams may be tricky at times so STUDY!! Not a walk over but you learn ALOT.

He's is one of the best professor's teachng in QC. He constantly repeats himself to hint to you that that will b on the test. Take good notes and you'll get an A. M/C exams and no projects, unlike other classes. TAKE HIM, TAKE HIM, TAKE HIM.

He is probably the BEST Accounting professor in Queens College. He explains very well and is totally clear. He can cover a chapter within a period, but by the end of the period you will know the chapter if you pay close attention to his lectures. His exams are a midterm and a final. They may be very tough, but in the end he curves the final grade.

I REALLY RECOMMEND TO HIM FOR ACC201.HE IS THE BEST PROFESSOR. YOU WILL REALLY ENJOY HIS CLASS. GOOD GRADER.

So easy, I can't believe it's not butter. 2 Exams. Both MC. Class Notes + Book reading's must to pass his tests. Take good notes, come to class, he adds short curve to final grade if you do well in 2nd exam. Goes over HW to give you 3D view of realtime acct issues. Answers all questions asked. I got B+ in the end.

this professor knows the material extremely well and dictates it extremely clearly. however, his exams are hard as hell. even though he gives room for improvement and ups your grade for that, it is still not as much as he says. I think he is a mediocre professor. if grades weren't an issue, i'd definitely take him again.

3 mc exams very hard

Wonderful Professor, all who speak negatively about this man are completely ignorant. If you want to know the material well and have a great opportunity to earn the grade you want, take this man. I took him and didnt regret it for a second.

He is a cool teacher. He explain very well. But he is lazy at times and can be boring but if he was the only professor that was good for this class i would rake him, He gives curves at the end of the semester. He does this because to see how the whole class did.

Great Prof. Exams are fair. Only 2 exams midterm and final, both MC, the final was easier than midterm. Visit the book website, it really helps with its quiz. Just concentrate on his notes and what he does in class and read the book accordingly, u will do fine. Curves if u do extremely good in finals

Great prof if u let him be. I got a C+ but it was my fault I didn't do better not his. Very clear and will go over sumthing as many times as you need. Even gave out his cell phone # in case u had any ?s. MT and final, both MC, if u mess up on 1 he'll count the better grade 4 more. Curves if nec. Doesnt collect HW. Not very easy but passable 4 sure.

He is so far the best lecturer i've taken at q.c. when it came to accounting. He really knows his information. If you go to class everyday and take good notes then you should do more than fine. He's not the easiest but you definitely learn alot. The amount of effort you put reflects your grade.

His voice is very monotone. Everyone fell asleep in my class, but he is not a bad teacher. Who the hell gives you the answers to homework first day of class, only him. Still have to work your buff off to pass the course.

♥♥♥David Hornung is one of the best lecturers in Accounting. His tests are tough, but if you plan on taking the CPA, they're fair. No curves or any other gifts from him. If you show improvement, he'll give you better letter grade than your average suggests. If you want to learn, take him. For easy A take someone else.♥&#9829

pretty straight forward teaching style. found myself drifting off every once in a while but thats probably bc my class met at 815am. do what you have to do and you will get your A. dont except it to be easy though. theres a lot of info to learn but its not that bad..

I do not understand the good rating of this professor. This professor is really hard. There are two exams and it's 50% each. If you get 65 or Lower you will most likely to fail the class. DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR. I REGRET For taking him.

I like this professor so much, because he gave us clear and organized lectures, you do not need to spent lots of time reading the book. His exams only include what he had covered in the classes, so only listen to his lectures and do the hw, everyone who can do fine. One more thing I regreted that I have not taken him for 201.

Easy to follow-explains the material step by step. Explains hw and provides solutions. Tests focus mostly on theory & relationships rather than calculations. Questions can be confusing bc the sequence of information is jumbled, or he introduces unfamiliar terms on the exam. Overall not bad, but requires effort to pass.

Not an easy professor and VERY critical. Hates lateness and blames the class for the usual 66 average (no curve is given). Uses the textbook test bank approx 40-50 q's/test. 3 tests non-cumulative final. He teaches as if accounting is a Gemara and pretty dull too.

Is a hard class, but nothing extreme, just make sure you pace yourself and you have to put some time in studying, not a class you can cram the night before in. He's a good teacher, but it is a long class and can get tedious. 2 tests during the semester and a final. Will count higher grades more than lower.

This is how it is. His class may be a bit difficult, but he is definetly a good teacher, and explains the material well. His class is a bit boring, but nothing unusual of all accounting classes. I definetly reccomend you guys to take him if you to learn, but you'll have to put some work in and study.

He is a reasonable professor. He teaches very well and makes himself available at all times by providing his phone number. He says only study notes but i recommend reading the book because his exams are difficult.

Very helpful, I had to take this class three times and he was the first professor to actually make copies of the solutions of the homework so I can see what the right answers actually were. Even gave us the option to go over homework to go over hw in an extra class during free hr. If you don't pass 202 with him, then ur screwed.

Despite the other comments, I think this professor teaches everything very straight forward. He is very clear in his lessons . He reviews homework. The grade you get is based on how much effort you put in the class.

He is CRYSTAL CLEAR when teaching. Well organized - perfect examples. You listen - you WILL earn. BUT HIS TESTS ARE HARD! I attended all classes, understood everything, AND studied hard. My average on his exams are ~65. This is coming from an A student. I took his midterm with the SAME confidence as another midterm. 64 on his, 98 on the other. Sigh

People cannot expect this class to be easy. You have to keep up with the readings and do the work. The professor is very clear and I understood everything he did in class. I should have studied more but that is a different story. I have no complaints with him. Great!

If you are a non-native and your english is not every good, i wouldn't recommend you take his class because the exam questions require advanced english. But great prof.

I've got to say, Professor Hornung was better than I expected. I failed his first test. But I did his HW after that and it really helped! Take my word for it! Do his HW and read. Practice! Practice! U can even call him! He's very helpful. You just have to know how to do the problems and his tests aren't hard once you do! Record his lectures, I did!

Great Professor. Not the most lively but he is straight to the point and gives great notes. What everyone needs to realize is that Intermediate Accounting 2 is hard. The readings MUST be done in addition to going to the lectures as well as the homework. I took him twice and got two A+. Take the time to be responsible and you'll do well with him.

Excellent Professor. I took him for 201 & 202. He gives handouts with the solutions to the homework before hand (remember to say Thank You!) Takes class participation into account at the end of the semester. I recommend him to anyone in the Accounting field. Tests are very similar to HWs .

Grade based entirely on 2 or 3 exams. The exams are all multiple choice, and he gives you about 5-8 skips on a 40 question exam. Also gives a generous curve (about 8-15 points depending on class participation.)Lecture very monotone and boring. Don't really need to pay attention though. Exam is from HW's. Read Textbook + Review HW's Easy A.

he's easy to understand. His class is a little boring but pay attention because he really explains everything in detail. he's an easy grader and give extra credit for reading in class.

Don't listen to the guy who said you should get at least a B+, this is intermediate 2 and its hard so be prepared to study. A lot of conceptual questions on his exams, and if you don't show up, you won't know which topics will be on them. We had 1 exam, another optional one and a final but it depends on how the semester goes. All MC/TF

Guys i would say that he is boring and talk pretty slow so try to set closer to him so you can hear him just by lessening to him you will do great in the class and also with your major. good luck guys if you guys don't understand him i guess you guys should just quit studding in college. one big mistake is that lots of people cheats in his class.

This is the sweatest and most carinf teacher I ever had , he wants the students to learn , he encourages paticipation and study , like any college class you have to study , but he makes it everything easier. If you attend the classes you are good , is easier that if u skip class and decide to study on your own its worse
