He's a really nice guy who really wants you to understand. He was always willing to go over extra problems/will not rush through principles.You can even fix problems you got wrong on your test to get a few points back.You also get points on h/w, which helps in grade if you do it.

I had him for 960 through 1050. He is absolutely awesome. I wish He taught upper division math. He explains it so anyone can understand it. If you don't understand it he will explain it another way. Not just repeat what he just said. You can take him do whatever it take to get into his clas.

Good teacher but his tests are impossible. He pulls all kinds of tricks. There are questions on the test that wern't on the homework or in the book or on what he covered in class. Horrible at making tests.

The Best Teacher I've had at Weber! (He prefers Mr. Over Professor) I tried to get in his 1010 Math but Couldn't He Madethe mathe super easy for me to understand.

I agree with a previous post that his tests are impossible. 2/3 of my class failed, and the person with the highest grade had a B-. The homework he assigned did not help prepare students for the exams.

Great proffesor if you want to learn the material, I suggest doing the homework and test corrections because he writes the hardest tests I've taken outside of the chemistry department. But overall I would recomend him as a teacher to anyone. He is also the most helpful out of all the proffesors in the math department outside of class.

I had Mr. Imig for both 1010 and 1050 and here's what I think most people would agree with. He knows math forward, backward, and inversely. He expects that you also know it that way. His test are hard and not like the preparation, but he writes his own test so he tells you in the lectures what to prepare for. He is fair to those who work hard.

I actually really like this professor for math. I am terrible at math and have taken this class 3 times. It is not an easy subject for me, but I got a B in his class (the 3rd time I took it). I actually passed it after I took it from him. Just show up for class, do the homework, and really try to understand it, and you will be satisfied.

This teacher is a good teacher. You NEVER use the book, which is good! you do your homework online, its SO much better than book work. YOU HAVE to do your homework and attend class. its not that hard, if you do your homework, and go to class then you will be good to go. I would recommend him. Online homework is so much better.

I am down the middle with this instructor. He knew his material, but I didn't feel like he did a good job at getting it across to his students. He didn't seem to really care wether you were doing well, or there or not. I struggle with math, and so that is part of the problem, but still feel like he could have been more involved and a better teacher

If any 1 wants a GREAT math teacher this is the guy! I HATE HATE math. He teaches very plainly and tries to use real life examples. I have taken him 3 times. I even failed 1 of his classes due to my slacking, yet STILL retook HIS class. He is not an easy A, but u will know math. U can't slack, but if you want to learn and dont want a nazi, get Imig

Teaches it in a way that makes it easier. Always says "Check your answer" which is fun to count each day. Overall great teacher :)

Imig is a great teacher. You need to attend to learn not to get points. His test are hard but not to hard. If you take good notes listen ask questions and do all the homework as well as the practice problems you will do fine. This was the second class I took from him and enjoyed both even though it was tough for me. He does care about his students.

I had this course online. The course ran smoothly as we had the whole semester to complete the course and we could finish early if we worked ahead. I didn't need Mr. Imig's help but when I had questions regarding math problems or the course in general, he responded quickly and was a great help.

Mr. Imig is a good teacher. He's a very nice guy, and he is so super willing to help you. He goes very easy on you on tests if he can see you're trying. He understands that it's a hard class, and spent lots of time after class helping me understand! He's awesome, but a little too smart for us. Skips lots of steps during lecture.

I took Math 1050 two times prior to this class, and got dismal grades both times. This time it really clicked. Imig was a good teacher and a cool guy. He would bump grades up if you worked hard. The online assignments made math so much easier for me to understand as you got instant feedback on each problem. Went from getting a D in math to an A.

The format for this class was different than other 1010 classes. We met 4 days a week and worked in groups in the classroom. Mr. Imig was encouraging all the way through. He seemed truly interested in the success of his students.I hope to take 1050 from him also

Mr Imig was very helpful and cares about the success of his students. The course I took, involved working in groups. I am older, 37 years, and haven't taken this math before, but was very successful in his class. Make sure to check your answers so that you are not making "silly" mistakes!!!

He was straight forward and willing to help me. I had some medical issues where I ended up not doing any work for a while and he was more than willing to help me out. Never met the guy, but his online course was great. I would take another class with him again.

I really liked this teacher. He always took out extra time to help me understand material and if I asked he would look over my test scratch paper and usually gave me back points. He expects you to put in the effort and he is there to help you along the way.

Before I took Imig's class, I was in the online 1010 class. I failed. I took his inverted class. It's just like a regular class. It is online but you go to class 4 days a week. I passed every test in the first time w/ high scores. He helps a lot. I went in the hub 5 times! going to class 4 days was still less than spending endless hours in the hub!

He made dynamics seems harder than it is. Tons of homework due every time. Very hard exams, but after taking his class, I was more prepare for other engineering classes. Never want to take dynamics or any other class from this guy again though. Tough professor.

Professor is kind, very considerate and enjoyable. It seemed his goal every day was to help the students learn math. The problem was with the computer programming with the tests. If the answer specifies simplify then it should be simplified! Hate the program, it really sucks!

Really wants his students to succeed, always willing to help, and easy to contact. Book and homework was online. Didn't try to trick you on tests. I would take a class from him again. At the end of the semester he reopened all the tests and quizzes so you could improve your scores if you wanted to while also practicing for the final.

if you are willing to put in the work and seek help when needed it will be an easy class. he has clear office hours and will set time aside if he can and you ask him.

Super easy! If you want to take an online math class for 950 take it from him! I was always behind by 3 modules, and passed with an A! You pretty much teach yourself in this online course! But worth it because I didn't need to do HUB hours nor be at the university, only to test. He helped me with not getting points knocked down due to lateness. :)

Dynamics is hard class no matter where you take it from. At the time tho, I was frustrated with his class because he seemed super difficult but now I am grateful he went as hard as he did because I'm now at one of the bigger ENGR schools and they are brutal compared to him. Just study your brains out and you'll do fine.

Professor Imig opened the class by stating how hard the class was and how he hardly ever gives a grade about 89%. I accepted his challenge. His exams are tough, but if you put the time in you will pass. If you are going on to calculus and so on, this is the professor who will test your mettle. His puns are rough. I laughed hard. The key to passing this class is to study for the tests. The tests are most of your grade and if you don't study well then you won't do well. Doing the homework definitely helps get you a better score. Overall I thought Imig was a good professor. You can tell that he knows and understands math, and he is very helpful with any questions.

Great professor! Just make sure you study and know the concepts. Seek help if needed. Homework and Quizzes together are only worth 16% of your grade use them to learn the concept but don't spend a huge amount of time on them. They aren't worth it. Just pass the Tests.

He wasn't a bad teacher. He was extremely helpful with my class.

I can't say good enough about him! He has helped me so much during the semester. Being able to contact my professor is a big deal to me and he went above and beyond to help me! I felt that he did in fact want the best for me

I took the flipped course of 1010 with him and I loved it. You take all your notes at home and when you come to class you do your homework. You get unlimited attempts on homework and quizzes and up to 3 chances on each exam (4 if needed), and he always makes sure everyone is passing the class with an 80% or higher.

I didn't finish his class but when I was in his class he was a great professor. He is super willing to help students and you can take his tests, quizzes, and homework as many times as needed until you get the grade you want. He really understands how to teach math to people who don't understand math as well as others. Highly suggest his class.
