Klinger is an extremely smart man, but not the best at sharing his knowledge. He tends to go off on tangints that are confusing. He does offer a lot of extra credit and really cares about us getting good grades. His tests are mostly conceptual knowledge from the book and are usually weighted. Even though he is very confusing, he does try his best.

Klinger is smart but doesn't know how to share his knowledge effectively. He sped through confusing topics. I pretty much taught myself this course, and I would imagine it would be a nightmare if you didn't take AP Chem. He often goes on tangents yet is confused when the average test scores are low. Overall very disorganized and no structure.

I took AP chem before so personally, I definitely think he made topics that are easy to understand difficult. He is crazy unorganized and ALWAYS making adjustments to due dates last minute. I STRONGLY suggest actually reading the textbook prior to lectures. He expects you to background knowledge or exposure to new topics.

I did not take AP Chemistry in high school so I struggled. The exams are conceptual so you really have to read the book to do good. He is knowledgeable, but extremely confusing and unorganized. He does not put in grades until the very end, but grades are curved and adjusted. There are weekly quizzes (not too bad), 5 exams (all multiple-choice).

all physics labs 111L & 112L have standardized quizzes in the beginning of class out of 4 pts (which makes or breaks your grade)....make friends w/ older people who took physics. Literally did not study for this class. His TA's will check over your reports so you get 100% and he puts the answers on the board. 1 drop quiz and lab report.

TAKE HIM! Lots of extra credit. This man will give you so much partial credit for literally writing down a formula. His exams are fair and you do need to study a bit. Not a very good lecturer imo, but exams & quizzes are just like hw & pulls conceptual questions from there exactly. hw not graded, 3 exams (1 drop), 15 quizzes (1 drop), 1 final

If you don't do well in his class, that is 1000% on you. Any bad rating he has on here is from forever ago. Not only are his lectures in video form on Sakai, (so you can pretty much do the class remotely) but the homework is also not "mandatory," although it's a spitting image of your quizzes and tests, so do it. Most amazing teacher ever.

This class is ok. Quizzes are just about if you completed the hw, and tests are about material on quizzes. Overall not a hard teacher or course. Klinger is a nice guy, but kinda boring. Knowledgable guy who wants everyone to do good.

Professor Klinger is very kind and will do a lot to help you understand the topics. That being said he is obviously very knowledgeable and an experienced professor, which means he often moves quickly and there isn't always time for questions. He doesn't grade homework but you have to do it in order to understand lectures.

Very nice guy and super willing to help, but can ramble at times and his notes don't always make sense. It takes a long time for information to click. A good professor but you need to put in a good amount of time outside of class.

He is a very kind man who is willing to go out his way so his students are able to learn the fundamental concepts of physics. Me personally, I hate physics, but i loved this teacher. I was able to learn physics in an effective way. Plus, he gives out a lot of extra credit and curves exams generously. Take him

Klinger is a good professor, but he is very disorganized and all over the place. He is a very generous grader with a ton of extra credit. Be prepared to teach yourself a lot of the concepts with the homework because his slides are usually more confusing than helpful.

Dr. Klinger is the goat! He provides a lot of extra credit so you can definitely boost your grade if you mess up. He also gives a lot of partial credit. Physics is overall a hard subject so you do have to put in the work. I took him for lab as well and he's a great professor and i'm taking him for physics 2 again.
