I don't understand why people receive poor grades with him. He is nit-picky on lab write-ups but gives out tons of extra credit. He is informative and is willing to help outside of class monday-saturday at any time. By far one of the best and easiest professors I have ever had
Idk what the person below me is talking about! I had him for lecture & he talks ridiculously fast even when you ask him to slow down, powerpoints are messy, & anything written on the board is misspelled/illegible in dying marker. Exam questions are either easy or out of this world. Didn't need the book. Nice(ish) and passionate guy but DON'T TAKE!
completely agree with the first rating; kurjiaka totally rocks BMS 291 lab! he's very lax on due dates for lab reports, and although he's a tough grader, he's clear about what he wants in the lab reports and is always willing to clarify and re-explain the material to students. makes the labs themselves interesting and would totally have again!
One of the most helpful profs I have had at GV. He has study session before quizzes and tests, he records and posts his lectures, and gives extra credit on the exam. He gives you old exams and quizzes to study from. He can talk fast but he really does want you to learn. Also gives points back if you do better on the final then your worst test score
Kurjiaka is a wonderful teacher. He tries to make him self as useful as he can to his students and will go out of his way to meet with you. He even has study sessions before the quizzes and exams to help give you a better chance at them. Bottom line: He is a fantastic Prof but a HARD one.
There was no homework, just online quizzes and exams. The exams, though, were HARD! Basically you had to know EVERYTHING on each slide, which is a LOT. Plus, you then had to apply that information. I probably spent 35-40 hours studying for the final (which isn't even cumulative) and failed miserably. AVOID at all costs!
Difficult class, but he teaches it well. He records all of his lectures and posts them to itunesu, which is extremely helpful. He also has review sessions. The exams and quizzes can be tough, with many increase/decrease/no change questions about pathways, but probably the best physiology prof. Goes through the material pretty quickly.
Dr. K is a wonderful professor! If you actually want to learn and be able to apply what you know, take him. He will bend over backwards to help you, you just have to ask. Attend the study sessions, ask questions in class if you don't understand and be prepared to spend considerable time studying. You'll enjoy his class - I did.
Excellent professor, lectures were interesting and engaging. Be prepared to study, exams are not just memorization "you need to know the concepts!" Lectures are recorded, and I highly recommend attending his study sessions. He is extremely helpful and fair when grading. Has students well being and interests 1st.
He's a nice guy, but the pace of class was too fast. I always felt we were rushing through the material just for the sake of getting through it. He does record his lectures which can help, but if you were unable to comprehend the material in class or we rushing to write down notes, it became tough to ask questions.
Kurjiaka (pronounced KUR-jak), is a really nice guy, he is the type of prof that if you ran into him in a bar you would buy him a beer, yet he moves quite rapidly in lecture. To combat this he records his lectures and places them online along with his powerpoints. This is really nice as if you can't make it to class all your info is online.
Kurjiaka is an awesome prof!! One of the best profs I have ever had here at GV. He is very helpful and all his exams are based off his lectures which he puts online!! He is also a great Lab prof too!! He is always open to questions and has lots of office hours to help you!! I would suggest taking him over any other physiology prof!!
I got 103% for my final grade, enough said, take physiology with him!
If you have Kurjiaka for BMS 291, I would definitely make sure you have him for the lecture as well. I had him for 291, but not 290 and as a result I struggled. I think he does a good job of explaining things, but he is very nit-picky when it comes to lab reports. He does offer extra credit.
His lab reports are an absolute pain, takes off points for stupid reasons. He also has a habit of insulting the other professors. Besides that, he's not awful.
Nice guy, smart guy, but the hardest grader I have ever experienced in college. He will mark you down for everything. Plus he makes you do the whole lab reports on your own, unlike other labs that allows you to do only sections. He also loves to go on and on in his "post-lectures". Avoid at all cost for the lab.
Pretty entertaining guy, posts all of his lectures on iTunes U, so you never have to attend class if you don't want to. Tests are rough though mostly because of all the information on each one. I would definitely recommend Dave though.
I actually kind of liked him he majorly curved grades. I sometimes questioned how much he really knew in pathophysiology but after having him a few semesters ago I realize he was a good guy kinda funny and loved the recorded lectures. I'd recommend him.
He usually talks about a lot of stuff in lecture that has nothing to do with the exam and his lecture slides don't give much info. If you want a good grade, you absolutely HAVE to study a couple hours per day. I'm at an A- in his class right now so I'm okay but the class is very frustrating at the moment. Good luck if you're taking him.
He's a great professor and always willing to help. He record his lectures and puts them on itunes so you can listen to them later. The test are EXTREMELY difficult but if his exams are just like his pretest (I got a 97% on first exam). Also, gives extra credit and "curves" every exam. BMS 290 is a difficult class, but I high recommend him
Nice guy for the most part but not a good teacher AT ALL. Not clear in explaining topics whatsoever. His powerpoints were not helpful in any way. Sorry to say since he seems to be a nice guy.
This was one of the hardest professors I have had, he was very informative and he knew what he was talking about. Every question on his exams involves multiple different variables and they are super wordy. So you really need to know your stuff. STUDY STUDY STUDY! He was really nice and he is a very good professor, he is just really difficult.
Kurjiaka knows a lot about physiology, but sometimes too much. Many times during lecture he would rattle off on a long process for a few minutes then end it with "but you won't need to know that". Endless studying is needed as his exams are the hardest I have ever experienced. On a positive note, he records his lectures to Itunes-U.
David Kurjiaka is a great teacher and he knows the material very well. I would recommend him for upper level BMS courses. He expects you to work hard but you will know the material very well upon completion of the course, and you will also develop much needed critical thinking skills that are vital within the medical field!
Kurjiaka is a horrible professor. If you're taking the class for nursing - I don't think he would be so bad, but if you're taking this class because of your major even though it has nothing to do with this information - GET OUT NOW!!!!! You will RUIN your GPA with this class.
H is a very nice professor, but I would not take him for a lower level class. He goes way too much in depth and you are never sure what you actually need to know for the tests. Whatever you do, do NOT take him for a summer class. You will be driven insane with the amount of work you have to put in.
He is a good professor, and knows alot about Physiology. His exams are extremely tough. If you dont study alot and dont attend class you will not pass.
Professor Kurjiaka is a cool guy and knows a lot about his field of study but I don't think he understands that the concepts don't always come as easily to other people as they did to him. The way he lays things out on the notes really don't make a lot of sense so it takes a lot of deciphering in order to understand the topics.
Very smart prof, too smart for students' own good. His tests are so insanely worded that when explaining them to students, he often gets tripped up with his own wording. Physiology is not a hard class in general but his over the top exams make it a grueling ordeal. Do NOT recommend this prof. (He is super nice though)
I discovered that in order to do well in his class, simiply understand/memorize his powerpoints. The first exam I over-learned the material and tried reading all the chapters and I did terrible. Don't waste your time. Study his old exams/quizzes and make connections with the info on his powerpoints. Also, he will happily answer any question, ASK.
Physiology is a difficult concept, but Kurjiaka realizes that and goes over the top to help his students. He provides practice exams which are helpful. He also has weekly review sessions where he will go over any requested material. Exams are very difficult but he helps out with a curve. Also provides recorded lectures on blackboard.
His lectures were extremely clear and concise. However, you have to listen, and listen well, 100% of the time or the PP slides will not make much sense to you. Luckily he posts both the PP and the recorded lecture mp3s to BB. To study I would re-listen to his lectures (twice) while following along with the PPs, I recieved 100% on 3 of 4 exams.
Kurjiak is the best option for BMS290. He records all his lectures and posts them on bb. The best way to study for his class is paying attention to all the old tests and condensing old notes. I did not buy the textbook and I did just fine, take the time to study. His tests are hard, some short essay questions, but he is fair.
Dr. Kurjiaka has been my favorite professor at GV. Insanely smart, great lectures, and a fair guy overall. What you put into his class what you get out. 290 is a difficult course no matter what. He gives clear explanations, and he overs helpful review questions before exams. Bring questions! 10/10 Prof.
The 6-week summer course was absolutely grueling. Lectures were not helpful for me, so I strictly read the text - though my friend had the opposite experience (all class, no text - we both made A's). He provides "study objectives," which helped to prepare for tests. Exams are curved, and he awards partial/full credit for multiple choices on exams.
This professor expects you to know WAY to much for the class level. He goes way into depth and talks to fast and then expects you to comprehend every detail he says. I am an A student and get C's on his exams after HOURS of studying. His review sessions are pointless because he goes into pathophysiology more than relevant material. DONT TAKE HIM
One of the worst professors I've had. His lecture notes don't make any sense. I have a tutor for the class who can't even understand what he is trying to get at in his lecture notes. Don't take him. Only good thing is that he curves the tests.
Kurjiaka is possibly the hardest prof I've had yet at GV. That being said he is possibly the best prof I could've had for 290. You'll learn more from him than anyone else. He offers tons of extra credit, pre-exam study sessions, records every lecture, and is very accessible. He wants you to pass. But it is not an easy A in the slightest. Study!!!
Hardest class I have taken so far. The class is 92% just exams, 8% online quizzes. His questions are insanely hard and you have to study for hours to do well in the class. Intelligent professor who is hard to understand. STUDY HIS OLD EXAMS/QUIZZES and piece together every piece of information from every question on there that he could ask about.
Very peculiar, very nice man. He's loud and energetic and he clearly cares about what he's teaching. He goes really fast but it's ok because HE RECORDS HIS LECTURES so it's easy to go back and listen. I really appreciate him and he has a lot of interesting things to say.
This class was pretty challenging, and the way he asks questions on quizzes/tests were meant to try to confuse you, which I felt was unnecessary. He talks VERY fast in class and it's hard to keep up, but he records his lectures and posts them on BB which is handy. However, I would take him again because his teaching style is very upfront.
This class was absolutely pointless as it was based off of one giant paper and a couple presentations on that paper. Grading was unfair and unclear and 3/4 of the classes were cancelled simply because we had nothing to do. Wouldn't recommend.
Such a great professor! Goes over lectures quickly but records them all. I listened to all of them and took very in depth notes but it was a very straightforward class. I would gladly take him again for psychopathology if I could!
Although he records lectures and posts the powerpoints it was really hard to do good on his exams. His tests are very difficult and he always has distracting answers to try and confuse you and "make sure you really know it". All the exam questions have two blanks to fill in and multiple choices for the answers.
On average, more difficult than the majority of Physio professors at GVSU. He records his lectures but I personally did not find lectures very helpful and went to maybe half of them the second half of the semester. Exams will make you doubt previously confident knowledge. I was one of few students who received an A, he does give some EC.
He goes really fast and loads in a lot of information all at once. He's sometimes disorganized in how he speaks, which makes it really hard to follow his explanations. He's very smart and know's what he is talking about, but it was definitely a challenge learning from him. His exams were also very wordy and confusing.
Pro: record lectures so you can go back, response to email quickly, answer questions and try to help. Cons: very monotone, hard follow through lecture, confusing way of explaning, wordy questions, confusing powerpoint, limited use of pictures or animation in slide. Note: Go to crash course
If you want to pay money and then try to google everything and teach yourself the material plus taking extremely hard exams that make you and your classmates don't deserve, take this professor. He expects too much from you. Good luck understanding his monotone and his way of move back and forth one millions time until you can't understand anything
Kurjiaka is constantly making mistakes and giving students the wrong answers. Often messing up the quizzes and misspeaking, which easily confuses students who aren't familiar with the material. He's one of the most condescending people I've ever met. People say he's the best compared to the others, but make no mistake, he is not a good professor.
Kurjiaka knows his stuff. His lectures are full of tough material, but he records them! He is available during office hours. If you re-listen to lecture and show up to the review seshs, there's no reason to do poorly. His lecture always matches what's happening in lab 291 as he made the manual. Difficult exams, but weekly quizzes boost your grade!
He knows his stuff very well and is accessible outside of class/office hours. He does record his lectures, which is a plus, but no book is needed for class. He tends to speak very fast and go on tangents. The test are very conceptual but weekly quizzes to help your grade a little bit. I didn't do as good as wanted and found him/this class very hard
Once you learn how he writes his tests and how you should study, the class is a breeze. He requires you to know the information on the slides from lecture (which are recorded) and how they all interact in the bigger picture. I never went to class, but I re-watched every lecture at least twice at 2x speed and felt as though that was the best method.
Very impressed with this prof!! Yes he talks fast, but i found it really helpful that he records his lectures so i can pause them while i take notes at home. I agree with the other comments, once you catch on to his quiz/exam style it all makes since. Very hard class, but he gets straight to the point!! He deserves a raise/award FORSURE
Kurjiaka is a really smart guy and a great professor. He goes straight from the PowerPoint and is always in his office for questions. He gave partial credit on the exams. The people who write angry reviews probably just didnt put in enough time. Its a college physiology class you need to study. He will prepare you the best but you gotta work
This class is by no means easy, but if you put the work in for this class you will do good. Kurjiaka is a hard but great professor, he expects alot but he teaches the class very good. If you want to learn something in 290 take him!
Do not take him. His tests are ridiculously hard and he expects you to know the tiniest of details for them. He is awful!!! He makes you do learning objectives for homework and it is basically writing 10 pages of notes and they were only worth 5 points. Im a senior and he is honestly the worst professor I have had at GV.
Worst professor! Makes learning a difficult subject even more challenging. Be prepared to teach yourself! Gives you 5 days from posting material until quiz/HW are due because he is always behind. Slow grader. Unresponsive to emails and no office hours. Exam questions are tedious & style changes. Not able to review graded exam.
There is no homework or project grade. The entire grade is over impossible tests and quizzes. He does not teach. I took this class during the pandemic and it seriously ruined my life. I would put this class in the Burn Book if I could. Do not take this class. His tests are impossible. The average was always a 60-70% and he doesn't care about it.
He's a nice guy. I took him because of his good rating on rate my professor but his phys class was incredibly difficult. His questions were extremely detailed and specific, many questions on the tests have two parts and a lot of questions can have up to 8 various answers, and all of them are very similar to each other. This class was so hard.
Everyone on here seems to hate him but he is not that bad. Yes the class is hard but that is because its a hard subject. He is very nice if you are respectful and nice to him. There are weekly quizzes which allow for a lot of points, and he drops six at the end of the semester. He curved every test and gives partial credit. Make sure to study!
Physiology is a hard class. There is simply no way to get around it. Kurjiaka is a great professor when you put in the effort for this class. He curves his exams by 3+ points each time and goes into blackboard to give partial credit. You have two attempts for every quiz and he drops six of them. Study hard, put in the effort and you'll do well.
Worst prof I've ever had. His lectures were powerpoint in his own shorthand and all his did was read through them. The class went to him explaining how hard it was, and he didn't care. Tests were extremely detailed compared to other profs. I asked him how I could improve and all he did was lecture me on how bad I was doing on quizzes. VERY RUDE GUY
He is the worst professor Ive ever had. Whenever I asked for help he was really rude and made me feel stupid. For lectures, all he does is read off of powerpoints. The questions on quizzes and exams were extremely specific snd difficult. He takes a difficult subject and makes it even more difficult to learn.
His powerpoint lectures are the worst I've ever seen from a professor. They're very disorganized and he uses weird sentence structure that make them impossible to understand from reading them. On top of that, his explanations of the topics is also very poor. Wish I could switch out right now.
He is very knowledgeable about physiology and wants his students to learn, but I did not like his way of teaching. He had lecture podcasts online (asynchronous) and you went over practice questions in class. Your grade is based on only exams and quizzes. His exams are similar to practice questions but harder with 7 choices for most of the questions
Worst professor I've had. I love anat & phys and he made me dread coming to class everyday. I saw two tutors for this class & they both were often stumped when trying to answer his questions. He is very unclear and teaches horribly. He focuses on little things rather than the big picture. I taught myself everything & wasted money taking this class.
I am surprised Kurjiaka has this high of ratings the 5's are lies. He was the worst prof. Power points were very hard to read off of, very unclear. Exams were harder than any other 290 class. He does not know how to teach, he just expects us to learn when he reads his power points word for word. This class will give you headaches, save yourself.
This class was super difficult and I never felt prepared for any of the exams. His lectures were very confusing online, in my opinion, and I never fully understood the concepts we were learning due to this. The wording he uses on tests and quizzes makes no sense to me and they always had around 7 answer choices. Would not recommend him.
I'm not one to write reviews often and usually take them with a grain of salt but.... I feel obligate to worn you about Dr. Kurjiaka. I'm a biology major so I know that any class like this will be hard. However his class was awful, I studied so much and never felt prepared. He lectures are dry with little explanation for application. RUN
SWITCH IF YOU CAN!! I went into this class as a 4.0 student and I barely passed this class with a low C. He doesnt know how to make info understandable and his quiz/exam questions are so long and confusing, to the point where he gets confused himself. I dont think this class wouldve been as hard as it was if it wasnt for him:/
CHANGE PROFS! This professor is not compassionate and gives 0s for no reason. If your homework isnt the exact way he wants it then you receive no credit.
if you're on the fence about switching out of a healthcare major, take a class with Dave and he'll solidify your decision. You'd think with a class like this, the professor would want you to succeed and do everything they can for that to happen. Not Dave. He does the exact opposite-so much so that even he gets confused by his own material... Run.
Switch professors. NOW! He thinks 18 minutes is "too much time" for a very complex quiz and plans for tighter limits. Lectures are important but he writes all his own questions for quizzes and tests and can't keep them straight himself. One of the worst class experiences I've ever had. A lot is expected with not alot of help. Just bad setup overall
DO NOT take for Clinical Nutrition. This was by far the worst class I have ever had. He made the class incredibly hard when it should have been an easy A. Absolutely awful. He was very demeaning and rude towards all of us when we stated we were struggling as a whole.
DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR. PLEASE!!!!! His slides are unorganized and often wrong. He has often times had to correct them during class. The answer keys to his quizzes AND exams are often wrong and he won't even realize it before the exam. He says he doesn't want to be confusing but then will put up to 7 possible answer on exams. Don't take him.
DO NOT TAKE DAVE FOR PHYSIOLOGY! He doesnt care about his students one bit. He has powerpoint slides that are not complete thoughts(hard learn). Every test has multiple choice with 1/2 fill in the blanks and then 7 options to chose from. He does not know his own material and you have to study how he thinks for tests rather than the actual material.
I really liked Professor Kurjiaka! Personable guy. It is clear he is highly intelligent and wants his students to learn and succeed. The course material is difficult, but if you are diligent, you can definitely succeed! I believe his tests grew me as both a student and a test-taker, because they really got me thinking critically about the topics.
This was his first time teaching nutrition. Exams focused on very specific details rather than bigger ideas and were overall poorly-written. Assigned work included a weekly journal, a quiz every couple of weeks, five exams. Heavy curves were given to account for just how bad everyone did on his exams. Was not receptive to constructive feedback.
I've never felt more compelled to write a review in my life. Before taking this class, I had a 4.0 and passed anatomy no problem. He makes quizzes and exams unnecessarily hard (even when using the notes HE writes). Claims to want to help, and is then condescending and rude in his responses. 350 characters isn't nearly enough to complain about him.
This was his first time teaching clinical nutrition and was extremely lecture heavy. He made us memorize very specific details for exams rather. I found myself spending countless hours on the class. He didn't listen to feedback after numerous complaints. Do not recommend at all.
I really enjoyed Professor Kurjiaka. This is my second time taking him and he is very, very clear on the grading criteria. It's difficult material, but he is always available to explain/answer questions and is understanding if something comes up and you miss a deadline (obviously within reason, not just because you forgot). 10/10 take.
DO NOT TAKE DAVE KURJIAKA!!! Worst professor I've ever had. Lecture power points do not make sense. Makes mistakes on exams and blames it on google docs. Writes his own questions that are extremely hard fill in the blanks. Asked other BMS teachers for help in the class and they didn't even know what his questions were asking. SO CONFUSING AVOID!!!
This class was an absolute nightmare. He was dismissive and unhelpful in responses to assignments. The notes were so unorganized/unclear that using them as a study tool often felt pointless. I never received clear answers on any questions, and he often got confused on his own material. I do not recommend, do yourself a favor and take someone else.
0/10 would not recommend. His quizzes are due at different dates and times online with zero consistency. There are no exceptions to late quizzes either. Your grade is based almost entirely on extremely difficult exams. Lectures are so bad he confuses himself. Please do yourself a favor and take another professor.
He can be a nice guy, but his lectures, homework, and exam questions were extremely disorganized and confusing. This made it very difficult to understand what should be easy concepts. He also makes a lot of mistakes in quizzes in homework, and we end up getting bad grades because of it. Teaches concepts that are not really related to curriculum.
Terrible professor. He does nothing to help his students. Read off of a powerpoint the whole time. And he is just straight up mean. Tried emailing him about questions I had towards the beginning of the semester and I got a really snarky response. Just overall bad class and rude professor.
Sets you up for failure by wording all his questions in terrible ways. Pretty much puts two questions in one so if you get one part right you might not get the other and therefore the entire question is wrong. Unnecessarily difficult with the amount of content you need to learn. Also monotone lectures.
Professor Kurjiaka is the most rude professor I have ever encountered in my whole academic career. Feedback he gives is extremely condescending making it impossible to ask for help without criticism. Professor Kurjiaka's exams and assignments were so difficult that he often made mistakes in the answer keys causing students to lose points.
Super clear about grading. The quizzes are just like the tests. The reason this class is so hard is because the material is difficult. If you watch the recorded lectures and take notes he makes it easy to understand. He replies to emails fast w/ detailed responses. I am a slow test taker and he allowed me to finish even tho I was going over time.
One of my favorite professors by far solely based on how understanding he is. He does give partial credit on exams which boosts our grades immensely and he drops some of your worst quizzes. You will have to study a bit for physiology and it will get frustrating but he provides great resources and questions to help you prepare for exams.
He was extremely rude and condescending when answering my questions over email, which made it difficult to learn. Random points were taken off of ALL my assignments because I did not answer the questions the way he wanted them answered, even though the assignments were very unclear. He never provided example questions and only read off ppts. AVOID
Thrives on student's failure. Worst professor I have ever had. Rude and marks you wrong on assignments if you do not answer exactly how he wants, even if you had the correct answer directly from his lectures. Do not bother asking questions, in office hours he told me my questions were pointless and refused to help. Avoid him at all costs.
Insane exams. Questions are super specific and are basically biochem/physiology. Asynch class but exams only open 9-10:30pm one day of the week, we had 2 options: open note (handwritten notes only) 40 min/60 questions, or, closed note 90 min/60 questions. Agree with other people about points being taken off of HW. Expectations are 'clear' but hard.
Extremely rude and disrespectful when reaching out to him, extremely picky grader with unclear questions, basically forces you to think like him rather than learn the material. Exams averages always in the 70s, won't change his ways or look at the bigger picture that his teaching style and his attitude is what drives students towards failure.
The exams in this class are incredibly challenging, with very specific questions straight out of biochem/physiology. Definitely utilize resources like Unstuckstudy, ChatGPT, and the free textbook to prepare. Be ready for a tough grading curve and a professor who can be blunt.
This was the second course that I've taken with Dave. Overall, he is a good professor and does not overload you with work. He gives clear guidelines of what he expects on weekly assignments, and will guide you if you've given it your best shot. He asks many questions in class, similar to what is on exams, and explains how the answer is correct.
I took physiology with Dave and it went very well. He asks questions that make you think through the processes on exams, but he gives plenty of examples in class, so you know what to expect. He gives partial credit on exams for questions with two parts. He posts his lectures online to refer back to. He also gives extra credit for LIFT evaluations.
Take only if you're fine with teaching yourself everything. Flipped classroom, but lecture videos are so long, the outlines are more helpful imo. Attendance is graded based on an app, but attending class is pointless. Study the outlines and memorize to pass, but the exams are not easy necessarily. Homework assignments are time consuming!
It was a decent class to be taken, but he was very unclear about what was going to be asked on exams and quizzes. He does drop your two lowest quizzes, but good luck on exams because they are 3-part questions! It was not very fun to request help because he did not do a very good job of explaining. Lecture videos are long and pretty unhelpful.
Dr. Kurjiaka is the most difficult and unengaging instructor I've ever had. His disorganized, unprofessional lectures (messy setups/ transitions/drawings) rush thru key material, often not on slides. I spent ~8 hrs/week on 4–6 short (~15 min) videos just to squeak out B's on his 3-part-per-question, 70-question exams. You don't learn—just survive.
Professor Kurjiaka has a flipped version of class where you do notes outside and other things in class. He tends to do a lot of flow charts in class time, and if that is something that makes sense to you then it's great. He doesn't really help if you have questions through emails, so id recommend going to office hours.
his final was 101 questions. flipped classroom with terrible notes.
not AS bad as ratings say. flipped classroom but his exams come straight from the lecture notes that he gives you. QUIZLET SAVES LIVES. if you put in the work you'll get whatever grade you want. anatomy is HARD and no professor is going to just hand you a grade. go to lecture (it doesn't really help) bc he tracks it for final.very nice guy
