Profesor Lefkowitz is one of the best professors at Kingsborough. He gives you examples to help you understand complicated terms or concepts. Keeps your interest until the very end of the class! I had no interest in taking this course but i was required to do so. Not only did i ace his tests i ended up actually enjoying his class! As long as you take notes in his class and study those notes for his tests you're basically garaunteed at least an A in his class. Plus he has cheat sheets for his test- you can't go wrong!!

really good teacher. You really dont need the book. He gives a lot of tests but you are allowed a cheat sheet for all of them (even the final) and he gives out most of the answers. You will take ALOT of notes but all the lessons are actually interesting. If you get him consider yourself lucky! P.S. ATTENDENCE is very important! dont be late like me

He allows make up exams and drops the lowest scored exam. He also let's you use cheat sheet (reference type) during exams If you scored poor on any exam, you have option to retake

Great prof. it's the only class I never wanted to miss. He makes it so interesting and easy. He gives 4 tests throughout the semester no midterm and the 4th test is the final. He let's you make a cheat sheet for each test. You can basically write all the info down. It's really hard not to get alteast a b+ I got an A. Take him for psych!!!!!

Absolutely amazing professor, Ive been in kingsborough for a year and a half and he is the first professor who I can say hands down is the best!!! Very clear, lets you make a cheat sheet, you cannot go wrong with taking his class as long as you show up and pay attention.

Take notes, make a nice "cheat sheet" & you're set! No homework, reading not mandatory, perfect review! On top of that, the class is fun, he'll answer any questions, joke, and demonstrate a few psyche techniques on you. Too bad he only teaches intro.

Probably the best professor I have had at kingsborough thus far. He's witty, nice and he keeps you interested in his class. He allows you to have a cheat sheet so if you fail his class you actually have to be absolutely disengaged. He's also very helpful and is willing to answer any questions you have. You don't need the book if u cm to class daily

Professor Lefkowitz was my favorite psychology professor. He only gives 4 tests per semester. He gives the essay questions before. He makes you work in a group and write the answers on the board which then he corrects and allows you to take pictures of the board. He also lets you have a cheat sheet so you don't have to memorize everything.

Professor Lefkowitz's class was very easy, but very boring. He's hard to understand because he's a little bit quiet. Also, he only lectures, so do not expect him to teach with visual aids. Overall, though, it was an easy class.

Prof. Lefkowitz is honestly the best professor Ive had out of all of the classes Ive taken. He explains his lectures in FULL detail and answers any questions you might have. No homework but you do need to study a lot to ace his quizzes (although he allowed a mini cheat sheet)

The class was pretty easy. The lectures were interesting. He's easy to get in touch with. He's very understanding, nice, and caring. The work was simple and easy to follow. Not a heavy workload. The Blackboard was well-organized and had all the notes.

Good lectures and overall material and a very clear grading system. Absolutely not strict. Be present in his classes and you`ll get no problem getting A.

The professors passion for psychology and dedication to teaching made a lasting impression on me; his engaging teaching style made learning enjoyable, Even in an asynchronous class, he went above and beyond by showing up at the same time each week and giving us the opportunity to interact with him during his lectures.

Prof. Lefkowitz is a great instructor. My class was online asynchronous but he still held two weekly Zoom lectures that were optional. In those lectures he goes over a study guide with all the terms that are on the exams. He has four exams, and a couple discussion boards. Do well on the exams and do the discussion boards!

I've taken professor Lefkowitz's class this past winter. He's very fair,funny,gives lots of extra credit. Was given 3 discussion boards and 4 tests so not bad! He responds quickly to email if you need to reach him.
