Dr. LeMaster is a GREAT teacher!!! He makes things fun but is not a pushover. He really helps students understand the subject and is able to get a majority of the class involved in discussions (which is no simple task).

I took Dr. LeMaster after hearing my friend complain about how horrible he was. Well, she was WRONG! He brings a wealth of knowledge to his class. He's secure about what he teaches. Most importantly, he cares that his students take something away from the class. He's an excellent, I'd recommend him.

Dr. Lemaster is a wonderful teacher. He does not just want his students to pass, but to learn. He works with each individual student, just hang in there the whole semester don't drop. i took this class online and it was very fast paced.he is good about giving easy hundreds for rough drafts and had 2 easy tests.overall it is not a class to take if you are a busy person. there were several papers and a couple assignments that were alot of work.he was understanding though and i ended up passing but it was stressfull.

This class is very hard, he gives a lot of instructions but they are hard to follow. He gives a lot of assignments. So far, I haven't seen the humorous side of him. He is serious, strict but overall he is a good teacher.

This was an on-line class and the extra credit was attending a symposium. Dr. LeMaster made English come alive, not only with our assignments but the symposium reading was tremendous!

I have had a wonderful experience being an online student of his class. Yes, it was a bit tough in the beginning, but eventually that slowed down once I got to know the professor. I would really like to emphasize this: Professor is a VERY helpful person. Communication is the most important factor.

Dr.LeMaster's is a great and funny teacher. But his online class is hard well at least for me. He gives u plenty of time to write your papers but i RECOMMEND *DONT* procrastinate especially on the Dirty Dozen. Very political. Dirty dozen assignment was a joke! Major work overload. Do not take if you have other classes to take as well. Takes alot of time and leaves less time for other studies. He is very passionate about his work and is a great professor Im sure just piles in ALOT of work

He gives enough time to get your essays done. He is a bit strict on the grading. Your final exam is writing an in class essay which was pretty simple. Ok class.

Took this class during a 5-week summer session, and it was pretty easy. Great teacher! Shows lots of videos that pertain to the class lesson. Extremely helpful, and funny. There was about four essays and one research paper.

David LeMaster is the best teacher that I have ever had for writing class. Spending 4 hours in his class is just like 1 hour in the regular class. He has a lot of activities that help student to understand the materials. He often shows something funny in youtube that make you very relaxed. The way he organizes the lecture is just awesome.

Very easy class. All essays are based off something you are interested in. Rarely used the book. Dr. Lemaster likes to talk about anything other than English. His main goal is to make English interesting to you. You don't have an required readings. Grades fairly easy.

I've taken so many classes with Dr. LeMaster I've lost track. Most of them were relevant to my theater degree. He's absolutely passionate about his job and takes it very seriously. His organizational skills are incredible. He gives great constructive criticism and treats his students with the utmost respect. I got an A in every class!

BEST professor ever! I was NOT looking forward to taking English and he made it so easy. I enjoyed going to his class everyday during the summer. I enjoyed writing papers. He is interested in his students. He cares. He encourages his students. He made me feel good about my writing even though I know it was awful. I highly recommend him.

Be prepared to participate in this class- that is how you are mainly graded. Group projects are frequent so choose wisely. His tasks are easy, and he will help you out if you participate in class regularly.

Dr. LeMaster is an AWESOME professor!! I made an A and I've always been horrible at writing. Show up, participate, and do your work and you'll surely make an A!Essay assignments are really easy and he isn't a hard grader. I took the three week mini and was scared it'd be overwhelming but it wasn't at all. Take him if you want an A in this class.

Loved this teacher his class was fun! he definitely likes for people to speak up in his class he want to debate. AWESOME PROFESSOR. I retook this class because I made a C at Alvin. He is a much better professor and actually helps you get to where you need to be. His lectures are entertaining and he picks original topics. DEFINATELY recommend. It is a lot of work, but he'll make sure you get the grade you want if you put in effort and ask questions.

He is a great teacher, and is always there to help. He will help you with your paper if you need it. you have a quiz just about ever class day. he gives extra credit to raise your quiz average. he is funny, and like to act. his class was fun.

Loved this teacher! He was great there are 3 essays and 1 research paper that is 6 pages long! I made an A+ on the research paper but i also went to his office twice a week and the writing center. If you show him that you are trying, you will be rewarded with a good grade. He also gives extra credit for make up quizzes. TAKE HIM!

Wonderful Teacher! Doesn't mind helping students, and most of his lecture are very interesting but sometimes boring. I had to turn in 5-8 essays, but his mid-term and final exams are easy. Going to his class is mandatory. This teacher is awesome, would take him again!

Took him online. 3-4 essays which all require a lot of reading and discussion boards. He gives really good feed back on papers, letting you know exactly why he took off pnts. he splits the class into 4 sections, making multiple assignments have the same due date. not an "easy A". He responds to emails within the same day. I would take him again.

This was the easiest English-subject class i've ever taken. All my essays were easy A's; he will help you a lot with your rough drafts if you need the help. Likes to use videos in his lectures. Tests were extremely simple. Final was an easy in-class essay. I actually took a much more challenging teacher for Comp2.

HE IS AWESOME!!! :) I haven't taken an English course in 5 years. I made an A. Do not be late to his class not even by a minute! He gives more than enough time to complete the assignments. He does not enter grades immediately so be patient.

Took him for Honors Literature and Film, which I definitely recommend. Very talkative and passionate about the class. The textbook is needed, but used very rarely, just a few quizzes. Some papers and presentations, but as long as you show progress and actually work on it, he's a fairly easy grader. Stay attentive and engaged, and he's great.

This class was very nice. The teacher is kind and very easy grader. There are roundtables but they are easy to do just answering 5 easy questions like what is the definition to something you went over in class. Also he has a group project which is fun and easy and also a paper on any event you would like to attend the paper is not that long. I'm a terrible writer but I made all A's on everything. He gives a lot of feedback to which is very nice. Easy A with not a lot of work.

One of the best professors at San jacinto! I have no idea why he isn't rated as even easier. The work is easy but you learn and he always has something interesting for his class. This is how a college class should be taught. TAKE him!

I took him for Comp 1, he is very engaging to everyones individual needs. Always gives good feedback in class on your rough drafts. Rough drafts are graded just as high as Final Drafts. I wanted to take his Humanities class next semester but didn't go with my schedule, otherwise I would have defiantly had him for a second class!

Dr. LeMaster gave me confidence in my writing, English is my worse subject and if you seek help he will always give you valuable advice and poit you in the right direction. I got EXTREMELY lucky to have him at random for my FIRST college semester. He has a very different style of teaching and most importantly KNOWS WHAT HE'S DOING!

LeMaster is a very nice professor took him for HUMA1301. You have easy assignments and 3 roundtables and the final you write about it. Some days you might thing is boring because of the plays and stuff but you get over it. Pay attention to the main characters and you would pass his class. IFY send professional emails and write MLA Format

Awesome professor!! Tends to work with another professor, but is much easier than the one he works with. Papers are easy you just have to do them. Uses the textbook during class so bring it. Not really surprises with him and if something comes up he is understanding.

Professor LeMaster is one of the best professor I've ever had. You don't need a book for his class. He makes his lectures fun and clear, lots of group work, easy notes and readings . He cares about his students and their grades. You will have easy short answers for homework and like 2 essays! if you don't do/read the homework you won't pass.

Took him for Humanities & Comp 1. 100% take him!! Such a great teacher, Group projects/Final is a project you present. A lot of easy PowerPoint presentations that you present as a group. Very funny and good energy every day. Would take him again if I could.

Professor Lemaster was a great professor! I don't think the text book is neccessary most of the passages he had us reading were found online. He was slightly slow on grading which made it difficult to know what we actually had in the class. Just pull threw you will be fine, I promise! If you pay attention and talk in class you''ll do great!

Patient and understanding. He uses modern day topics to keep subject matters in class interesting and relevant. He assigns some homework but nothing too overwhelming if you are frugal with your time. He is slow to grade but is never too harsh if there is noticeable effort. Great Comp 1 professor.

I am currently taking Dr. LeMaster for intro to humanities and fully expect to get an A. Some of his assignments are confusing but he gives you plenty of time to do your research and gives extra time if you are confused. He is passionate about what he does. You get an attendance grade so show up every day and there are a lot of group projects.

I took professor David Lemaster for English Comp. He is awesome! It was such a great experience having him as my professor. He is very respectful and easy to work with. Such an awesome, caring and AMAZING professor!!

I took Professor Lemaster this past Spring semester and he's amazing! He's smart, and super caring. He actually listens to what his students have to say and is super nice. He takes a little while to grade papers but, he's an easy grader. I enjoyed his class.

HUMA 1301 I took this class over summer. Obviously, it had lots of work because it was a 5-week class, but this was the best class I have ever taken. He is hilarious, helpful, and very kind to students. He is a real gem and he deserves everything good. He helped me with my writing and made me understand certain subjects in English and Humanities.
