Take any class w/ him and you will enjoy it. He has a great accent and really cool stories. He's very helpful and a cool professor. I wish I could take him again.

this guys crazi, i love it. class is always interesting, full of stories about his mother and multiple ex wives, haha. smart guy, knows his stuff and does a good job of making you know it too.lots of reading for the tests thouhg, make sure you DONT leave it all for the night before!

This guy is crazy. If you enjoy ridiculous stories about himself, a ridiculous accent and writing about four papers a semester hes good. I did well on all his papers. Only took two quizzes in his class. Doesnt take attendence...a very nice quality

he's a great teacher, he makes class very intereting with his stories and jokes. i loved having him as a professor, i definetly recommend him if you need abnormal psychology.

HOT accent.. and HOT himself. Class was easy. Skipped more classes than i went to and showed up for the tests (which he curves all except the final) and i came out with a B-. The guy knows his stuff though and does keep you interested with stories.

This guy is great. He doesn't care if you come to class or not and he makes it pretty darn easy. People wrote 25 page papers and got the same grade as those who wrote 5 or so. :-D

Great guy and very interesting class. The class was graded completely on multiple choice tests. I didnt feel that I was doing that well on the tests, but I got an A anyway, so I want going to complain.

Had him waaaay back in the 80s and LOVED him, took every class I could with him, even statistics! Hilarious and VERY knowledgeable. Yes, he was an easy A, but I learned a ton from him. Nice to see he's still around!

Not many professors are worth driving an hour just for an 8:30am class, but his classes are always interesting & enjoyable. His strange quirkiness is endearing, & he is very knowledgeable of his topics. Need to know something about suicide? He’s your man. His classes tend to be easy, but highly informative. Just 2 exams comprise your grade.

so, so, so, so, SO hott. and BRITISH. you HAVE to read the book and study to get a good grade on exams. they're curved; doesn't give lower than a C on exams. very interesting lectures-honest and open with students, treated everyone as an adult. great stories. just generally a fun and interesting class. did i mention he's incredibly HOTT?!

Lester is a great professor!! He made going to class worthwhile. He also curves grades too and you won't get lower than a C. I would definitely recommend this class to anyone.

lester is the best! funny guy, kind of off topic sometimes.if you don't get something ask him and he will help you.easy class 3 exams,projects,and quizzes and curves exams so it is almost impossible to fail and also lets you use notes in the exam.go to class, take notes, go to review sessions, ask questions and you will do good. not a hard class.

Had him for Personality and it was possibly one of the most interesting classes I have ever had. He is an easy grader, and though he does have a tendency to go off on tangents with life stories, the man is brilliant. He was taught by Kelly and Maslow!!! You have to take him at least once and I recommend Personality, thought I had abno and stats too

A fantastic teacher and interesting man, I took him for both Abnormal and Stats and loved both. You learn a lot but be prepared to study - there is a lot of information in abnormal and in Stats practicing it outside of class WILL help you. Take him as much as you can!

Very nice guy, a little confusing sometimes but he is very smart. He is willing to help if you need it and although class is not mandatory going is essential in order to know what is going on. Also, I'll restate, he is very nice and it wouldn't be cool to take advantage of his flexible attendance policy.

interesting character!had him for abnormal psych.talks alot about his life, ex-wifes, childhood, and his studies. quite funny but does not give his tests based on his lectures, he only adds afew of his lecture questions on the test.READ THE TEXTBOOK! grades on a curve, so as long as you dont perform off it you`ll do well.nice guy, odd in a good way

Had him for Psych Stats and Abnormal Psych. Abnormal wasn't mandatory, easy to study textbook, 3 tests. Stats wasn't mandatory either, and he goes really slow. For me it was too easy, but that made it an easy A. If you want to understand stats, take it with him. Test are open book/open notes! Ridiculous curves too!

IF you want an easy A take this class! ALL tests are based off of book, so def read the book. Three multiple choice tests. Grades on a HUGE CURVE.

Very easy class if you know what is in the book. So far, I haven't really seen much of what we learn in class on the tests we have had. Must look at syllabus for test dates. Attendance probably isn't mandatory but I wouldn't say this is an 'easy A', it does require a lot of studying of the chapters.

Awesome guy has incredible articles of real life events. Looks surprisingly young for his age and is very active for his age. Tests are all based off the book attendance is not mandatory. Grades on a large curve and if you miss a test he lets you make it up with no problems.

Read the book and take the three exams. His lectures are actually quite interesting but have little to do with exams. You have to read the book but it is interesting especially if you are a psychology major. Curves the tests. Not really an easy 'A' because you do have to do the work of reading a good number of chapters. Really good guy.

I have successfully completed two stats classes in the past and now this is my third and the one I am enjoying the most. He goes very slow and will do countless examples for you and makes sure you understand. Not an easy A but if you work at it you will do well. Have to go to class or you will be lost. In love with his accent. Hes a cutie too.

prof lester is such a great guy ! His way of teaching is so interesting. He has the greatest accent and has so many personal examples that relate so well to the chapters that really help you grasp the concepts. No attendence. Tests are curved which is good and he goes over definitions the class before the test so try to memorize !

Love this professor! Definitely take him for Statistical Methods. Get to leave class early, and use your notes on all tests. Hard/ Nearly impossibe to fail this class.

He's a great professor, I don't know why people are complaining about his exams. They are easy if you actually read your textbook… The students that fail obviously didn't study.. Lectures are interesting and exams questions are fair. It's only difficult if you don't READ and UNDERSTAND the materials in the book!! But overall, great professor

I took Abnormal, Personality and Stats with Professor Lester and he is amazing! Stats sucks.. it does but even if your bombing he will help you get through it. Attendance is not required in any of his classes. He is a better Psych professor than a stats professor but only because he moves relatively quickly when he teaches. His accent is adorable!

easy professor. no need to go to class, but some lectures are quite interesting. if you read the textbook chapters before the test and do the review quiz at the end you will get an a on every test. adorable man, adorable accent. if you are taking this class, choose this professor.

He is a great guy. So smart and passionate about what he teaches, and I love that he shares his current research with his classes. Yeah he talks about himself and his life a lot but most of the time it is because he is making examples for the material. Wish I could take another class with him, already took them all! It's easy if you're not lazy.

Those who said his classes are hard obviously just don't want to do the work. Show up, take notes and ask questions, read the books and take the exams. He even gives reviews. Put in the work and you'll get the grade you deserve. He's a smart and funny guy.

Read the book, study and you will be fine. Attendance not mandatory but the material covered is so interesting you will NOT want to miss a class. Very knowledgeable professor. Definitely recommend to take Abnormal Psychology with Dr. Lester plus great sense of humor.

I have had him for both Stats and Personality. Stats he is AMAZING, greatest professor, very clear, good teacher, got an A. Personality he can get a little boring and start rambeling, but he is very funny, smart and nice if you pay attention. Hands down my favorite professor at Stockton, take him!!

AMAZING TEACHER AND ADVISER! You cant fail his Abnormal Psyc class. He grades all of the tests then marks the highest grade an an A and the lowest grade as a C and all you need is a C to pass the class. It dont mater if the highest grade on a test was a 65 or a 95 it will get an A. It dont mater if the lowest grade was a 35 or a 55 it will get a C.

It's a privilege to take him. Had him for Abnormal Psych and loved it which made me want to take him for Personality (any class would do really). As much as I enjoy listening to him in the lecture setting, this time around I didn't find him to be particularly clear. My notes from class were a mess and not of much use for studying prior to exams.

I had him for personality last year and absolutely loved his class.. Even though he doesn't take attendance I definitelyyyy recommend going to his classes !! He has so many examples and funny stories he shares that really reinforce the material .. I still reference the textbooks which HE wrote :)

Great professor, he will help you if you need it. I could have tried harder and would have had an A instead of a B.

I think he is retiring soon, but if he's still available next semester take him. You do not have to come to the lectures, there barely ever homework, 1 short paper, and 2 or 3 exams in total. If you're mature enough to handle that, you will pass with ease. He's really funny and a chill teacher.
