Understanding and a great speaker!

Great class! He was always prompt with grades and feedback and any questions you may have. Tests weren't too difficult and the actual work just takes some time. If you put in the effort, you'll pass without a problem and even learn a thing or two.

Very fun teacher, he is very unique in his teaching style. He is excited about the subject, Tests are medium hard, but it is based out of points possible so a test point is worth just as much as any other point. You will not get bored in his class. Highly recommend!!!

I took this as an internet class. If you are not self modivated then I would not advise taking an online course becasue there are no dead lines exept the last day of class so if you have not worked on anything then you have one day to do a whole semesters work! I loved this class though! Would recommend taking it! The pro. is very organzied.

Well I took his public speaking class. and it was SO rad. It's been my favorite class ever so far. EVER. He's the only proffessor I could see me visiting again.

He's Really Fun. He goes over many of the test questions the day before and is very personal. I would recommend him, but make sure to come to class. You learn so much more when you're there. He is very dramatic in his talking, and never gets bored. He even thanks us for coming to class!

He made class so much fun! He is high energy and excited about the class. He gave the class more than 50% of the test questions before the test on every test. And if you do not go to class you are pretty much out of luck not because he takes attendance but because you are tested on what stories he tells you in class.

Litchford is a cool enough guy. I took this class online and it was pretty easy. The class consists of weekly readings, weekly speeches (on the honor system), written evaluations of your speeches, and four tests. Tests aren't too bad if you look over the study guides beforehand. He is really easy to contact and provides good feedback.

HE is SOOO much fun! You do need to read the books and go to class becasue that is what he tests on. You should try to get into his class if its not full already!

I actually looked forward to doing work for this class, because it really is a life necessity course and he does an amazing job sharing information with everyone rather than just teaching it and expecting to learn off the bat. He understands it takes time and practice to get good at it, he's super reasonable and knows his stuff.

I took this class online and really enjoyed it. Business and communications are my kinda thing and he did a good job teaching this class online. I did bad on the final and should have received an A-, but for some reason I got an A, so that was a double bonus. You have to turn in an assignment an average of once a week. They are about 3 pages long.

He made public speaking fun & comfortable with his animation. very personable & taught through personal experiences. reviews exact test questions (multiple choice) you give many speeches but in groups of 5 -- although the final speech is in front of entire class-- got to know & became very comfortable with people in class due to his teaching style

Easy class, easy A. Probably the most boring and useless class I have ever taken, but it was required so I took it. He seems like a nice guy, material is simple, tests are easy. Tests consist of memorizing a lot of useless facts for multiple choice questions. Cram for the test, then go take it be4 u forget all the useless facts.

I waited until my last semester to take this class, and it ended up being my best class and Litchford was my best professor in my four-year degree. He is enthusiastic and up-to-date as he is a professional speaker also. His class simply was a motivational experience each day.

I took Org Comm online from him. He is a great teacher. He clearly lays out what he expects and establishes clear deadlines. He allows you to finish the class early as well. Make sure to study a lot for final and be wise about what to place in the weekly memos.

Yeah, if you don't take Litchford than you're crazy! Show up to class, because a lot of the test questions are from hysterical stories he'll tell you in class. He gives you "reviews" but um... they're really just the answers :) so write them down! And have fun in Litchford's class!!!

He doesn't offer extra credit, so you need to participate and do assignments. It was a very practical class and applicable to real life. Always keeps things lively!

Funny guy, and you can tell he cares about the students and has a passion for the subject. That being said, he is sometimes confusing since he used religious jargon that I wasn't familiar with. Also, his grading seems to be arbitrary at times and he specifically made his 2nd test and final harder because the class did too well on the 1st one. Pass

I really liked this class with Life Coach Litchford. He's really funny and entertaining and has a great relationship with the class. There were only 4-5 speeches I think, and he's a super easy grader on them. Really the only other homework besides the speeches were reading assignments which were also easy. Best professor I have ever had at UVU in my three years. He is motivational and caring. He lives what he teaches. He gives great feedback on the speeches you give. The ckass also was very fun, you are never bored.

Take Life Coach Litchfords class!! He is the sweetest and really cares about his students. He has the best stories and you can actually learn a lot! I definitely miss this class!

I thought David was a great professor. He gave good advice for giving speeches and how to improve. Reading was easy, tests were all open book and easy to get an A on.

Professor Litchford was a very prepared, enthused, and entertaining teacher. He gives great feedback on each speech, in fact he gives a personal demonstration on each speech you have to give. Very flexible and cares about students. The best experience I have had during my three years at UVU.

David was seriously my favorite professor so far. The class was asynchronous which was hard for it being a public speaking class. But David made it easier, he did a video check in every week and really cared about how well you understood the material. He is a nice grader and he gives amazing feedback that really helps you improve.

I really liked this teacher. He is very clear about his expectations. Not a lot of work but he grades really tough. The speech topics weren't my favorite but I still learned a lot. He is a super nice guy and will go out of his way to help his students.

I took Business Management, Advertising, Marketing, and Salesmanship from Dave Litchford over 35 years ago. Hands down, the best professor that I ever had over the years up through post graduate. I learned so much in his genuine, fun, yet productive and meaningful classes.I have never forgotten this highlight of my life. Thank you Dave!
