Take The Coach for ANY math class you can. He shows you how to let the problems tell you how to solve them. No more memorizing all kinds of useless information. I feel very good about the class i just finished and will be taking him for the next one.

Best math teacher. Spends more time on concept than memorizing procedure. Everybody will understand the concepts, not just the A students. He really made me understand Calculus. I was finally able to APPLY it to my other classes without Plug+Chug.

he's a cool guy, but coming from Mark keppel high...a school that drills math in our heads...the class is much too easy..annoys me at most times, if it wasn't for GLOBE, i wouldn't be in this class...but----I'll defintely take the Coach for higher math!!

Coach is an extremely funny professor who teaches math concepts that actually apply to everyday life. The only thing I disliked about his class is the way his tests are set up. I don't like tests that only consists of about 6 problems.

I took this course during my first semester in college, and I loved it! Even if his jokes aren't always that funny, at least he's not serious all the time. Not a moment of boredom. An easy A, plus if you hated math like I did, you'll learn to like it.

Dissapointed, bought book and he didn't even use it. Tests are okay if you really know your stuff and don't make mistakes, but there is no partial credit meaning you make a computational error and you're down 20 points. Bummer on one's grade. He really is nice though.

EASY A. Take him if you have to take this class. You dont need the book, and you barely have to do any work. The tests are easy and the homework doesnt even take five minutes.

He is hilarious. You will learn the basic concepts of college algebra. Very easy homework and tests. He teaches how to do math problems using the easiest methods possible. It made me feel like my other math teachers were hiding this stuff from me. Great class.

I liked his class because it was super easy class. Although he gave assignments little bit, it was okay because they were very simple questions. He is very funny and easy going.

He is amazing. i failed math all through highschool and now this is my favorite class. he has an awesome philosophy about teaching...no books, no excessive homework. his tests actually have to do with the stuff we did in class too! he is funny and gives students the confidence they need to be successful in his class. he takes things slow and doesn't put pressure on students. def take his class!

he is the absolute easiest teacher to take for any math. he gives you the main concepts you need to know and to carry on with your other math courses. he's a rebel for books, as we all should be. he filters out the fluff of them, and gives us the meat of the course. an excellent professor, very helpful, and fair.

Easy teacher, assigned seating so pick your seat wisely by the 2nd or 3rd class session. Very little homework. Great teacher for the math phobic, like myself. Goes off on tangents all the time and loves to talk about legal cases.

The easiest A that you could get. He even gives you points if He's late to class. Test consist of 5 simple questions. And you do homework with a "team" so there is simply no possible way that you could fail this class if you have a brain.

Professor Mckay is one of the nicest teacher. Math is totally not my subject and he teaches math where you can actually use it in the REAL WORLD. If you didnt get it, he'll wait and make sure everyone understands before he moves on. He such a great guy and teacher and I definitely recommend him. He's strict about attendence so go to class!!!

Ridiculously easy. Almost insultingly easy. This was by far the easiest class I have EVER taken in my LIFE. Don't buy the book. Plan on spending 3-4 class periods on one easy concept.

TAKE THIS CLASS IF YOU HATE MATH! so pretty much he talks about 6 topics of math the whole semester! i took it MWF which sucked but since it was a 50 minute class he let us out early almost every class. easy tests just study your notes. this guys is crrrrazzzy wierd...full on entertainment!

McKay is a wonderful math teacher who takes the time to explain things in terms that those of us who are not proficient in math can understand. He always goes that extra mile to help someone understand the concepts he is talking about. Most dedicated math teacher ever.

Take him if youre bad at math! it took him almost 1/2 the semester before he even started teaching because all he does is talk about random stuff. when he does teach, its really easy to grasp and we learned a lot of it in high school. i hate math to its very core, and im getting a high A.

Coach's class is awesome. No homeowrk, no textbook. Your grade is based on three tests in which he gives you the questions and answers to and attendance. He's pretty big on attendance. Every class besides test days, he goes over test questions. Easiest A ever.

He is funny, will make fun of you, and easy. During classes he will mostly talk about random things and then for 10 min he will do a test question. One answer to a question was: The sun is many many times farther away from the sun. I was absent like 10 times but got 100 percent on the test so he didn't take points off of my grade for attendance!

This class was amazing. I learned actual math that I can use later in life, not a bunch of crap that would just fill my mind. I think Coach is a good teacher, you just need to be at class all the time and you'll get an A.

Easiest A in my life! You have to go to class, the T.A. takes attendance. But McKay is a great teacher! He gives you what you need to learn and goes over it a million times. His tests are the same as the problems he goes over in class. Just come to class, take some notes, memorize, and you'll get an A. I hate math, but this class was super easy!

he doesnt believe in homework and he doesnt believe in the text book. just show up and he goes through the same thing over and over again, you start to tune him out and when time comes for the test you freak out cuz you feel like you didnt learn anything but as you look at the problems you realize you learned a lot more than what you thought. easy.

After taking the class with Coach McKay, I actually feel as though I learned something. The class is easy to understand, and the professor wants his students to actually learn the material rather than memorize. There is no homework or textbooks. This guy is awesome. I really did not understand most concepts in higher level math or science but this class really helped. He covers things from trig to calc and chemistry to physics. "The Coach" does not think of his class as "easy." He believes that his way is a great way to teach math. He doesn't believe in the "drill and kill" method. He takes it very slow. Coach Mckay is great. He is as easy as he is because he doesn't want people to stress about grades, and focus on how to do the math itself. Its more important that you sit and listen to him, than whether you can cram for tests and regurgitate the information, and forget right after. This class should not even be called a math class. We literally did 1 simple addition problem at the end of the course. He mostly talks about current events and criminal justice stuff. His tests are about things like Michael Jackson, Scott Peterson, and a guy who got killed with a Molotov cocktail. Tells you all answers but attendance is necessary.

Coach is kind of crazy. He has very strong opinions, especially about criminal cases, and he doesn't "believe in" textbooks, tests, or homework. If you attend most of the lectures there is about a 99% chance you will get an A.
