Everything is really clear, and studying is necessary, but it's not too bad....

Its a lecture class, average amount of notes, make sure u take them
Boring lecture, but easy class.
interesting lectures for a boring subject, loves to rag his ex wife
Hes very nice and funny too! And on top of that the class isn't all that bad!
Great class lots of notes and maps. Study them and avoid Simmons

great guy, very helpful, adds humor to the class
If I had a dollar for everytime he ajusted his pants in class......
Very nice guy. Easy tests, grades on curves. take him if you want a good grade
A bit of a snooze class but easy. If you like stupid humor and ex wife jokes he's great.
Great guy! Took him for like 2 or 3 classes because he's awesome and his classes are easy! Watch how often he adjusts his pants -- what a cutie!
He is great. Deffinatly kinda boring but really easy. His map tests are great and the other tests aren't that hard. He is an awesome professor!!!!
good guy, take notes, show up to class, you will get a good grade
i wish all professors were as nice as him. a class act.
Very easy class. This guy is fun to have as a teacher. Map exams are a piece of cake!

This is a great class. Prof. really knows his stuff and is very interesting. Great personality and very humorous. If you have to take GEO 121, take this guy.
pretty easy. curves grades, map quizes are esay if you study them, sometimes they end up being worth more than your tests. likes to get out of class early!
Take him! You will get out of class early every day, map tests are really easy, tests are easy if you do the study guides.
Great guy, Great class, Meyer also knows his latin america
Relatively easy class. Very approachable.
This guy is smart and easy. Just make sure to do your paper on something thats easy to find information on.
Take him for 373 - especially in the Summer. You will always get out early and the workload is minimal compared to other GEO teachers!
he is always ****in bout his ex-wife...it's super funny!
Easy open book tests. Lectures are okay, lots of notes, he doesn't give you enough time to copy them. Always get out early.
He is a very funny guy and he lets you out of class early all the time. Study the notes and do the study guide and you'll do fine. Map test are super easy.
He is one of my favorite professors. His class is what made me decide to major in geography. The map test are very easy and as long as you go to class and study the notes then the test are easy too.
One of the greatest professors on campus. Very easy and approachable. His Class is always entertaining. He loves to crack jokes that are always funny. Notes are all easy to understand and straight forward
He's a good guy. Trashes his ex-wife a lot, its funny. Not a tough teacher if you just pay attention. For the most part the class was good.
You would definitly miss out by not taking this professor....I will for sure be taking him for GEO 373 as well!!
Meyer's is a very nice person that has a good sense of humor. The map tests are super easy, the tests are a little harder. Plus there are a lot of notes which he goes through fast. But overall it's a good class and he lets you out early all the time!
Ok, this guy is not easy and you DO NOT get out of class early. lame jokes and boring. he BETTER curve the hell outta this class.
One of the best professors on campus. I will definately take him for his GEO 373 class. Don't let the review directly below fool, you he is the best professor to take GEO 121.
gives review guides for test, id say about 60% of the questions are off that review sheet. notes arent mindblowing either. grades on a curve, offered my class extra credit. a good easy U.P. class
Its all about the ex-wife jokes!
HE has this wierd fixation on talking about his ex-wife, it's really irritating. The TA sucks really bad and he doesn't do anything about it. Map tests are hard, but he gives you what you need to do well.
Minimum tests. Half are map tests which are easy A's. Other tests are all objective. Goes on alot about other things. No homework, quizes or paper. Curves like nothing else. Get EC outta him and it's equal to half a test
Had it as a 4 hour class at night, never stayed more than a max of 3, usually about 2:15 and that's with a 15 min break. Labs are done in pairs and turned in for CR/NC. Tests are all Mult. choice and T/F. Gives you time to study before them
Dr. Meyer is the best for this class. His witty jokes about his ex wife keeps you coming to class. oh, and the labs too, but they take like half an hour max. I would recommend him to anyone
Had him for class off campus at extended learning, great teacher, very clear, very helpful. I highly recommend him. I would take for another class any day.
Pretty easy class, i'd take him again. Written exams are hard but map exams are SOOOO easy that they make you do well. Lectures are long and boring but he lets you out early (not everyday though) DO NOT BUY THE BOOK! Only the study guide. JULIE=****!
Great professor... took class in summer and got over 100% and no i'm not smart :) Gave a lot of extra credit and graded on a curve... take this class for your U.P.
A lot of work for a distance learning package.
This class is good b/c Meyer adds jokes into his lecture all the time. He always makes fun of his ex wife. The map exams are easy and the tests are alright. No homework and no essays. Great class.
He's a great guy and always makes jokes. Lots of notes in lecture but no work outside of class. The map exams are easy and the tests are a little bit difficult. The essay part is hard, but it depends on who the TA that grades them is.
The ex-wife jokes are great entertainment. This class is easy and if you need a UP credit for either GEO 121, or 373 (2 different subgroups) I recommend takin either with him. You'll get a good grade and he almost always ends class early.
Dr Meyer is one of my best profs i have ever had. If you are a geo major or minor take him. Lecture can be boring but the test are super easy and he lets you use the notes. Awesome teacher!
funny guy, good teacher. minimal effort will earn a decent grade, but you actually learn the stuff and its fun!
I thought this class was going to be a breeze, but it's a little difficult. The map tests are super easy, but the regular tests were kinda hard for me since I'm just taking it as a UP. The book sucks. it's boring. sometimes he's boring, but he always lets us out early.
Labs only take about an hour then you get to leave, and they are just from a workbook. Tests are MC/TF and really aren't that hard if you study the notes and read. Don't miss more than 2 days and you get extra points. He really tries to help. It's a pretty easy class, especially with him.
It's a two hr. class and I don't think we've really stayed more than an hour. Labs are extremely easy and you get to leave right after. Also, exams are M/C and T/F and as long as you study the self tests in the study guide you'll do fine. It's very easy and he's a really nice guy.
This guy is a great teacher. He really makes geography interesting and he knows so much about the world. You should take this class with him because he is funny and a good prf. Easy A. Map quizzes are easy, but the test are tricky, just read the book and you will do fine.
Funny guy! Always making jokes about his ex-wife..or george W...He definately knows his geography. His tests are very hard, but he curves them..and the map tests boost your grade. you do need the book though...
This class was a blast, you always get out early. Tests were kind of hard but if you study at all you should get no lower than a B in the class. Map tests help your grade.
Tries to make it easy. Curves tests. Labs are cr/nc. Material is booooooooring unless you care about the clouds, atmosphere, planets, and geography. Class is 2 hours, usually not more than an hour and a half.
VERY nice guy and a very easy class! There is no reason why you shouldnt get an A or a B at the lowest!
His tests are really hard, and he lectures about things he doesn't even test people on. Everyone in my class hates him.
You're a fool if you don't take his class. The tests are a breeze, I study the day b4 and the worst grade I have is a B. I suppose the tests are 'hard' if U don't bother to at least glance at the material b4 hand. Maybe I'm a genius. He always lets out early and everyone I know loves him. EZ A!
This was a really easy class. There is no homework. Just 3 map exams which are a lot easier than they seem. Everyone I knew got a 100% each time. Then there are 3 exams that seem hard but they aren't bad and he curves it every time. He has a great sense of humor and is a reallly nice guy. Always making jokes about his ex wife.Posts all notes on b b
This class is both interesting and easy. TAKE NOTES, he outlines them so easily for you with a power point. The Exams are kinda hard and the map tests are easy (assuming you are good at this kind of stuff). He is pretty funny too, the only downfall is the fact that there are only about 6 total things that get graded in his class.
The only hard thing about this class is making yourself attend in spite of no attn. policy. Whoever says it's a hard class is a moron. Take this class, you can't possibly NOT get at the VERY least a B unless you truly are a moron in which case you'll get a B-. Map quizzes are a joke, exams you'll have to look at some Bb notes the night before.
I would recommend that anyone take a night class with Prof Meyer. Usually we would be in and out within an hour and a half (especially as the semester went on). There is a lot of information he throws at you but since he lived in Latin America I found most of it to be quite interesting.
He is a great professor. I have taken 3 classes with him and have gotten 2 A's and a B+. His exams are easy, only take about an hour to study for especially if you attend all the classes. His only downfall is he hates France. (haha)
class is pretty boring, but the notes are all on bb. Copy and paste them into a word document, and you can use them and your book on the exam, you don't have to write notes or do anything. EASY, especially if you go and review the notes ahead of time so you aren't searching during the tests. Start the paper more than a week in advance...
This class was easy, Tests are open book/note. There are a couple of easy assignments, and a 5-7 page paper with 5 minute powerpoint presentation at the end of the semester. Has a great sense of humor.
The class is pretty easy as long as you do the reading and answer his study questions. Go class. He tests over lectures and stuff not in the book. If you don't like crude humor this isn't the prof to take. I didn't really appreciate the mean jokes about his ex wife (although I don't blame her for divorcing him).
Take the night class. Always out within 2 hours. Tests can be a little tricky, but map exams are a piece of cake. Take this class CR/NC and it will be a blowoff.
Apart from being a 3 hour class, this class was really straight forward and super easy. He has a great sense of humor and the mini assignments are really helpful in understanding other cultures. Would recommmened him for any GEO course!!!
The material is kinda boring but it's not all that hard. I learned a lot about other cultures argiculture. The tests were tricky but not impossible. Beware, if you don't put in the time you won't get the "A", more like a "B-" if you are OK with that kinda grade. Take Meyer, you won't regret it.
Great Prof! Class is SUPER boring but he is funny and a great teacher.
Easy class and good professor the lecture is boring but thats all there really is to the class not alot of work at all and some take home exams not alot of points so do well on what you do but other then that its a good class
Very nice and funny professor. He always let our class out early. Easy class.
Gives only 3 Tests, but they are very hard. No extra credit and gives pop quizes on occasion. Do good on tests or your screwed. I would try and take another professor.
Very informative about geography. class is very easy,I skipped 3 weeks straight and was still able to get 100%
Good Prof. Tests are hard and the bulk of the class like 85% of your grade is based off the 3 exams a couple 10 point quizes and 2 ec assignments that you definatly need to do. Easy Class if you study well for the tough exams.
Awesome prof. He makes lots of jokes and makes the material somewhat interesting. Tests are fairly easy and he gives out study guides. Also offers extra credit!
Sooo boring but overall not too bad. The only bad part is when he lectures and goes off on little rants. He is a good guy though. Lived in Latin America so he understands what it is he is teaching from experience. Also he sometimes let class out b.c he knows its boring. Take this for a UP :-)
He is very knowledgeable... almost too knowledgeable. Goes off on rants and talks about things that will never be on the test. His lectures are extremely boring, but you need to go to class because he may give a pop quiz or extra credit. The map exams are easy but his other exams are ridiculous. Try taking a different professor.
He is a really nice and funny guy. If you have to take GEO 373 i would take it with him
The class is so easy. The professor is hilarious and the lectures are never boring. If you pay attention to the lecture and go to class every day there is little studying required for the exams. The lab is credit no credit and the teacher is very helpful.
This class was pretty easy. You don't really ever have to go. He sometimes gives out extra credit before the exams. Exams are a little hard, but you will have study guides for them. Hes pretty funny and a nice guy =)
Class really isn't very easy, but if you study and go to class you will get an A. His tests are kinda hard, but he has a massive curve on every test. I studied a couple days before each exam and got an A on everything with his curves (without curves I would have had between a B and B+ on most). There is a lot of studying from the book though.
The class is pretty easy, but with lots of studying from the book. The exams are hard, but there is a curve on them. The prof. is nice and likes to crack jokes, especially about his ex-wife. I would recommend this class for a UP.
Very easy class, most of what you need to know is in the lectures and always on blackboard. He provides study guides so any reading you Might do is on MULT CHOICE TEST.Classes very informative.Tries to joke about EveRything.
If you think this class is hard you should quit college. It is a interesting class and he gives you the powerpoints and a studyguide which is very helpfull. He likes to joke alot and the class is never boaring. Take it as a UP
This guy is awesome! He tries to make class interesting and often lets the class out early! He is very passionate about what he teaches and it shows in his work! He tells you the first day of class that he tries to make everyone pass which you should ace this class as long as you semi-try! Highly recommend taking him!!
The class is pretty easy. You have 4 exams plus all your lab work...All the points are added up and that is how you get your final. Lab is pretty easy and usually short, decent class overall.
This class is pretty easy. Gets a little more difficult near the end because it gets kind of old, boring, and sluggish. Last test is pretty hard too, but he curves and its a pretty easy course all around. I'd def take him again if I needed too.
This guy is pretty cool. class is a joke, I never go (except for tests). the tests are really easy, all multiple choice. I didn't even study for one of them and got a B. It's all common sense stuff. He's also a really cool guy.
Pretty easy class. Professor is a nice guy, tries to make it as easy as possible. Grade based on two map exams (just identify places cities/countries) and three written exams (first two are multiple choice, final is take home essay). If you want an A you should get the textbook. Gives out extra credit quizes. Great UP to take. I recommend it.
Easy class. you'll most likely do well on tests and lots of extra credit oppritunity. this semester i got over 20 extra credit points.
Lecture definately not mandatory. Quizzes are multiple choice and easy, sometimes with extra credit. Dont believe the discriptor: this is NOT cultures of the world, he came right out and said that they changed the name so that more people would join the class. He cracks a lot of jokes, but they really arent that funny. Nice enough, but boring.
Professor Meyer is great! He understands that the majority of his students are only taking his course because its a UP so he makes it simple and jokes around alot. He also gives out extra credit opportunities that help your grade. I got a C because his exams have alot of material and I didnt spend as much time as i should have on studying
Good professor. His exams are sort of difficult to understand. Questions can be tricky but overall they are not that bad. He understands students are busy so he doesn't give a lot of busy work. He gives a review before exams. Lectures can be boring sometimes but they aren't that bad. I think it's more the material than anything else.
Professor Meyer was nice and helpful right from the start. One large paper and 4 tests, non proctored. He answered emails on time as well.
Professor Meyer was a very understandable teacher that helped the students out a lot during the semester. He gives out a bunch of extra credit which can be easily obtained. His test are a little tricky and the lectures can get boring if you actually go. Just study a bit and you'll most likely find yourself with at least a B if not higher.
David Meyer is a funny guy. His lectures are kinda pointless and boring but he gives a lot of extra credit. Map exams are easy and actual exams are focused on details. Final was a take home, very easy. You can easily end up with over 100%. Take this UP!
Very easy class, this guy is funny. Exams are easy, tons of extra credit. I work 42 hours a week and this class was very easy to manage with my job.
Very easy class, this guy is funny. Exams are easy, tons of extra credit. I work 42 hours a week and this class was very easy to manage with my job. TAKE THIS CLASS
This guy is hilarious. I think I learned more about his ex-wife than I did the class though. If you study for the exams, go to class, and do the extra credit, then you should manage at least a B. I would definitely recommend it for a UP.
I loved this class! He keeps things very interesting and funny. Read the book and study everything on the powerpoints. Gives a lot of extra credit. 2 exams and 2 map exams and a paper for the final. This is my favorite class so far at central. If you study the material you will get an A. Loved this class!!
2 exams. 4 map exams which are really easy. Tons of extra credit. Grades on a curve. final is not cumulative! I loved this professor. Very interesting topics to listen to and cracks a couple jokes during the lectures. He made me love geography. Soooo glad i took this for a UP! One of the best professors I've encountered so far at central.
Good professor, never used the book, you can use it for studying I guess but I never did and did fine on the test, Class is pointless unless you want to catch the extra credit quizzes, super helpful friendly guy, good professor
Did not like the class, he made lecture a little bit interesting. Studied slides and book for test and still got a C with the curve, no idea where half that information came from. I have no idea what extra credit these people are talking about comes from. Overall this class sucked.
Very boring class. Really had no idea what was going on half of the time. Did pretty bad on the tests, but the final was take home which pretty much saved everyones grades. Usually he will let you out 15 or so minutes early. Overall not a terrible professor, I just had no interest in the class. Oh, and he likes to make jokes about his ex-wife..
Took this class for my last UP requirement. Heard it was easy. Rumor is he changed his grading and teaching style this past semester. Hard class, boring, WOULD NOT reccommend. Extremely hard exmas. Everyone I knew from the class ended up with C's or D's.
meyer is a really cool guy has a lot of stories. The exams are really dificult, i never knew what to study for them because some wasnt from the slides. dont need the textbook. dont get into the habit of not going to class its easier to listen to him and learn then by reading the slides. the map exams are pretty simple when you study
Nice guy, certainly talks a lot & sometimes rambles off-topic but very easy to get an A in his class. 5 exams, two of them are map exams. He lets you use notecards on all the exams and there is little to no homework. I would recommend him to someone who asked.
Anyone that can't pass a class when you get 4 notecards (front and back) for each exam shouldn't be in college. Easy class, print the slides and make notecard from them. Don't forget to put the key terms from the end of the chapters on your notecards. Likable guy that wants to pass students.
I took this class online so not really rating the teacher, but the class. There was only one assignment and four exams. The assignment was to write like 10 2-3pg essays answering questions (all answers in the book). The exam answers were all pretty easy to find in the book also. The last day of the semester was the deadline for assignment and exam
I've had him for two classes. They were both EXTREMELY easy. He wants people to pass and is willing to help you as much as possible. Go to class, listen to the lecture, review the notes, and you should easily get an A-. The only reason people ever do bad in his class is because they don't go to class, ever..
Online. Enjoyed this class and I learned a lot. Easy if you read the books prior to the exams. 4 Exams and 1 Essay assignment.
I took this class as a UP, barely tried at all and still got a B in the class. All of the grades are map quizzes and exams which are multiple choice and not hard if you study. There is extra credit on the tests which helped my grade a lot. I used the book for studying terms and that's it. He tries to make class fun and makes random jokes. Good prof
Professor Meyer was a good teacher. He was very interested in the subjest which made it easier to learn. Attendance was not mandatory and he never took it which made it more laid back. Lectures can be dry and so can his sense of humor but overall, its a good class!
Not the most fun class but if you must fulfill your requirement for a UP take this class with David. Good guy..likes to joke around and gives extra credit on quizzes sometimes. Map quizzes are very easy and the regular exams are a little tougher.
good guy easy class recommend taking his class
Class was very boring and he often went off topic. Tells a lot of pointless life stories. Map exams are easy A's but the chapter exams are all over the place. Stay away if possible.
It's not as much about cultures as it is political points of each region. Class was always let out early. Had a sense of humor and made a lot of jokes that were sometimes funny. Map exams were easy but power point exams were much more in depth compared to the actual power points. Often got off topic.
Lectures are very boring but it's an easy class. As long as you look over power points before exams you will be fine. Map exams are pretty easy as long as you fill in the maps. More about geography than cultures.
Took this class online. Highly recommend. We had four exams and 12 essays which were about a page each on average. No discussion boards, no papers. Put the time into preparing for the exams and you will do fine. He responds to emails quickly also.
Took the class online. The class was pretty easy, but you have study. The class to me was very boring. The exams are proctored which is a pain to deal with. The final paper was not hard at all. Overall I would recommend the class to someone for an online summer class.
The most boring lectures I have ever had in my college career. I do not recommend taking this course to anybody. Exams are tough and nobody knows what to study. Choose another class.
It was an ok class but wasn't very clear on anything and just had a hard time with it overall.
He likes to talk a whole lot. He crack jokes, but no one seems to laugh. His tests are easy if you know how to study for them. He gives random extra credit quizzes.
TAKE THIS CLASS ONLINE, all it is is 2 map exams and 3 exams from chapters in the textbook. He also assigns a paper based of a short book based off Latin America stories. You can find all the exams on quizlet or online if you look hard enough. the exams are super hard if you don't study so STUDY.
The online class is self guided when it comes to deadlines. Have to have the test Proctored in person which was a pain. The quizzes cover a lot of information but there is some good exam questions and quizzes to study with on quiz-let for that. You can retest for exams but it is all essay so do good on the first take.
David Meyer has been my favorite professor so far. He's funny and a great teacher. Show up to class and take notes and you'll get an A/B for sure. I 100% recommend him to anyone taking a Geo course.
David is a easy-going prof and tells jokes that he thinks are funny but no one else does. I find it hard to learn because he presents a lot of information in lectures and it is hard to distinguish what is really important. There are 2 map exams that are fairly easy, then 2-3 regular exams which tend to be harder. I wish the class had more structure
Funny guy, but he presents a lot of material in class and it can be hard to distinguish what will be on the test. His powerpoints are like 100 slides and thats basically what you need to study for the exams which are usually 80 T/F MC questions. I heard this class with him is easier online. He offers 2 extra credit quizzes and 2 easy map quizzes.
By far, my favorite class and professor at CMU. I'm a soc major but his GEO373 class was a great change. He's Hilarious and posts all his power points online. There is two extra credit opportunities and only two quizzes which are easy map ones. Let's you use notes on tests.
I took this class online and probably could've done better if I was better at self-motivating. If you don't have a problem doing that, I definitely recommend this class. The entire class consists of a few really easy discussion boards, 5 exams, and a paper. Most of the exams can be found online, too.
Online it is a very easy class. The book is require for the "essay" its in quotes because its called an essay project but really you are just answering questions in bullet point format. Make sure you use quizlet to your advantage, lot of people have already made note cards for his exams. Exams are proctored which is annoying. But easy class
Great summer class. No big projects. Check out Quizlet before exams, & take notes on the lectures. He is a fast on responding to ?s & grades. The study guides for each module are SUPER important. Fill them out completely & you'll be fine. The practice exams are pretty worthless, but give you an idea about the format of the exams. Do online.
Horrible prof. I hated it. Only contact were reminders of week #. Lectures are barely helpful & all reading on your own. Decent study guides. Map exams easy, just practice. Exam 3/4 were hard, exam 5 easy. Quizlets already made - have answers on them. Exams are proctored. Final is essay Q's, do a couple a week so you'll be done early!!! No EC :(((
If you take it online LOOK FOR QUIZLETS FOR EXAMS 3-5! I did not realize this until after I messed up on exam 3 and couldn't get my grade back up to a 94%, which is the lowest you can get for an A, and I ended up with a 93.4%, which is an A-.
There are 2 map exams that are easy if you just practice the night before but then the two exams that follow those are really hard because in lectures he talks a ton and its hard to pay attention because you have no clue what is important. Basically you should just take this class online and it will be an easy 4.0.
He's a good teacher and I liked watching his video lectures. You learn more about the culture than I thought you would. This is an easy UP/300 level class. Two small papers, a couple of proctored exams and that's it. Study for the map exams (multiple choice) and you'll get A's. Also, exam 3/4 were way harder than 5 so study more for those.
He was a good professor and will meet with you in his office for questions. However the class was pretty hard. The first 2 map exams were easy, but the 5 others were pretty hard and required lots of studying. The exams must be proctored or use video camera. There are 12 writing assignments and 2 discussion boards that he grades easily.
Dr. Meyer was an average online professor, but let me warn you when I say that he changed his cirriculum from the past. The exams are no longer on quizlets, they are all different than any quizlet found now. You have to buy the online book to pass his exams, the first one I did not read i got a 52. Read the entire book and youll get an A
Talks forever about nothing important and then when he gives you an exam there are many questions on there that he did not touch on in class nor are they in the book. He was not a good professor at all. I would not recommend.
Online class, just do the easy work and you'll get a good grade!!!
Professor Meyer was a good professor. My class was online so there was not too much interaction with him. The class was easy and you got full points as long as you turn something in. There are "exams" every week, however they are just long quizzes. They are mc/tf and are difficult but if you study you can do well. Overall, not a bad class.
The homework is super easy as the answers are right there in the book. The exams were hard if you don't study. However, Dr. Meyer provides study guides, though they aren't specific but instead has more general terms. I didn't do exceptionally good on the exams but did all the homework and the discussion boards and got a great grade.
I took this as an 8-week online class and was able to finish all of the work by the beginning of week 2. All of the exams are through a lockdown browser with monitor. The assignments and exams are weighted equally so if you fail an exam and do well on all the assignments, you should still do fine.
Lecture heavy, and really boring lectures. Didnt attend many classes. But Dr. Meyer is a great guy who really enjoys teaching. All the assignments were really easy and even the exams, if you studied were easy. They were also online. Overall, boring but easy, with someone who just enjoys teaching.
I took GEO373 online during the summer and I highly recommend taking it as a summer course. He only assigned about 3-4 hours of work a week and it was great for someone like me who worked 40 hours a week all summer. If you work or have a busy summer planned but still need to take a summer class, take this one!
This was a fairly easy class. There is a book code you are supposed to buy. I never used it and was able to get an 84% with minimal effort so you don't really need it. Exams are lockdown browser. His feedback/instructions can be unclear at times.
GEO373 is a manageable course, especially for online learners. The exams can be tricky, but using Unstuckstudy alongside the textbook makes study prep more efficient. Consistent effort and engagement with the material will lead to a good grade.
Very funny and engaging lectures. Sometimes goes off on tangents and sometimes powerpoint notes are not super useful, but I feel like you really learn just based on what he is saying. Assignments are straightforward, and exams are challenging, but as long as you take notes and pay attention, you should be okay. Just an all around nice guy.
Lots of discussion boards to go through, most were really easy, but they weren't explained well so they were more open ended. The class was easy. The tests were easy, and were on lockdown browser with like an hour time limit. I feel like taking it online was the best choice for me. I took it as a UP, and was glad I did.
