Wonderful teacher! He made learning interesting by teaching how an essay is related to an OREO. To this day, whenever I see or hear about an oreo, I think of him. I hope to have him as my instructor again.

I took Mills for 60A/60B (it was one semester for both) and he is definitely the best teacher I've ever had! I learned more from him in that one semester in English, than I had from all my english teachers in high school! He is tough, but you learn so much when the class is over! He is totally worth it! plus he's really funny and nice!

His class did teach me a lot, but the teacher his self I didn't care for...When it came to matters of his opinion he saw them more as facts than anything...His teaching methods were satisfactory and I passed so that's always good...:)

I took this class for Puente and to be honest he is the perfect teacher to be teaching puentistas, made a big difference in explaining things with his little tricks. If you add him as a teacher keep him, you won't be sorry. But if you want an easy class drop him, he will make it challenging and you will learn alot with him.

You dont find teachers like him who actually LOVE teaching. Mill's class was amazing;always chatty and colorful. He likes to talk and play around, as well to laugh. Great teacher! Admissions wasn't letting me add his class for some stupid reason and when I told him that he went down there a personally made sure I was added to the class... I never had a teacher care that much so right then I knew he was going to be one of greatest teachers I'll ever meet.

I took Mills english 50 and 1A classes and I'm currently in his eng 1B. Mills is such a helpful teacher who is willing to go over your essays and discuss them with you. He makes his class fun by telling stories. If your willing to put the time and effort you'll pass his class. I highly recommend him for an english class.

David Mills. Where to begin? Well for starters, he's a great professor. His lessons are crystal clear. Before I was never interested in English, but after his taking English60AB I'm absolutey intrigued. I'm now in his English1A and I'm beyond lucky to have crossed paths with Mills. He's helped me become a leader by joining PP.

I had put off taking 1B as long as possible, but once things got rolling I found myself looking forward to going to class! He is witty and has his own little "Mill-isms" that are absolutely "faan-tastic!" I'm really glad I took this class with him. I learned a great deal that will help me in the future! He assigned 3 papers with high expectations and gave you feedback so you can fix it and turn it in again. Really cares for your learning and gives pretty thoughtful and easy lab assignments. He has no textbook but will give short articles. AMAZING.

What can I say about Mills? First and foremost he is a very entertaining professor. I was never bored and felt myself eager to learn more. He has a sense of humor and is really funny. I learned so much in his class. If you want to improve your writing definitely take this class. I do wish he was a bit more open about his opinions though.

I absolutely loved this class and I took it over the summer! Mills is an amazing professor. His lectures are entertaining and interesting, and learning the terms was a piece of cake. Mills is one of the best teachers I have encountered at Norco College. He gives awesome feedback, answers all your questions and makes you think (a lot), which I love about his class. He has office hours and most times is there and everyone who has taken him can still go to him for insight on writing. He also helps with other subjects essays.

He is a good respected prof. However, I am a visual learner but he a verbal person: giving assignment, essays, and feedback vocally. I prefer teachers who likes to go over the entire draft and lab work by giving written feedbacks on them and doesn't take 1-2 weeks for our essay to be graded. Nonetheless, his reading are engaging and interesting.

Professor Mills is an exceptional professor. He WILL make you learn and you learn a lot more than just english in this class. You learn about arguments to how to approach a professor when you need help. Yeah he grades tough but in the end it's worth it bc you learn so much. PAPERS: ask 4 u 2 use .7 inch margins not 1 inch so you get an extra page to type. GET READY TO WORK if you take.

Sadly, he retired nearly three years ago ever since when COVID-19 has impacted us. I wish I could see him again, but I will definitely miss him the very most.
