Easy and interesting.
NICE TEACHER. EASY CLASS.
his a very nice man. If you just study the review sheets and read alittle of the book you will do just fine.
great teacher.

Presents notes through powerpoint during class and schedules great field trips. Two of the field trips were to Key Largo to go out on a boat snorkeling
Great professor. Clear class notes. Very nice, will help you.

Good teacher, good notes, fair tests, and quizes are extra points!!
great teacher. sexy too (in a nerdy, tennessee kind of way). i wish i was able to take him for biology too (but i only had him for lab). some friends didn't like him, but i didn't think they were being completely fair. he's seriously a good teacher if you're willing to learn. have fun!!
great teacher, really knows what he's talking about and opens your eyes about the world. grades fairly, lots of notes but if you pay attention theres no way you can fail...but your supposed to do that anyways
cool guy, laid back, easy projects. lots helpful of notes. extra credit quizes.
I loved his class. He gives and explains all the material clearly (not much of a virtue within mdc teachers)quizzes are extra points toward tests! go to class, take notes, study and you'll get A or B in his class.
The class was fun and easy to go along with, he gives you all the info you need and the tests are all the material he gives you. He's great.
Easy A, he rarely shows up and his assigments are easy. and hes good good teacher.
He is one of the best professors at Miami Dade. I love him. He is also very sweet and very helpful. The lab for our class was the best. Lots of fun. I recommened this professor 100%.
good i guess... well thats when he shows up for class... assignments are easy and its a easy A
Very clear explanations. Fair grades. Cool personality. Highly reccommended.
boring lectures. but hes a really nice laid back guy.gives helpful test reviews but i didnt like the projects and he didnt give us much time to do them
Excellent professor. Knows what he's doing and is very fair.
i recommend any freshman to take this calss. This was my first class and i loved it. hes a cool guy. only thing u need ot watch out for are the short answer questions.
Intense class with a lot of terms to learn. But, if you study, it's an easy "A". 5 test and quizzes. Quizes are extra credit points towards tests. 10 papers to write (easy assignment), and gives extra credit for attending certain lectures. Take good notes and study and the "A" is yours!!!
Great Guy, boring lectures, he's very educated and informative. Watch out for the short answer questions on his super hard tests and ALWAYS print out and do study from the reviews he puts on his website for the tests..
Nice Teacher, explains clearly, his notes are awsome, provides outlines for every tests, his tests are easy except his essay questions on the back, before every test he gives a quiz which is extra credit and doesnt harm grade, assigns 5 projects which are easy, an easy A.
Oh good! Great teacher you can get an easy A, just do your journals, and the end he'll collect all and the final test you can get it from the book (write for each chapter what did u learned) thats it!!! sometimes he doenst show in class but he is cool!
Good teacher, give you outline and goes over notes.
I will never forget this professor, thanks to him I will graduate this year. I hate biology and he actually helped me with all the assignments. thanks to him I am also concern about global warming. I WISH HIM THE BEST. GREAT PROFESSOR!!!!!!!!!
So-so teacher. Solid lectures, but you probably wont get absorbed into them. Tests are pretty tricky. A solid choice if you need to meet a requirement. Beware: doesn't fulfill lab requirement.
really good teacher!!!!
Nice guy. Good teacher. Never puts homework....BUT he RARELY shows up in class..
Good teacher. Biology isn't the best subject in the world, but he really tries to incorporate things that are easier to understand into the difficult subjects.
Lots of extra credit quizzes that help you in the end.
Very good teaching! He gives a lot of quizzes which helps ur grade at the end. His exams aren't that difficult if you study. His explanation are clear & he incorporates good examples to help you learn the material, which makes it easier as well. + you don't need your book for class, but you do need to study from it.Study his notes & you'll do GREAT!
VERY good teacher. lots of notes so be ready, but he explains everything and is happy to answer any questions. doesn't rush through lecture and gives you really good study guides for the tests. awesome guy, well worth sitting in a packed classroom (so up early!!!)
He is a great teacher! There is alot of note taking but he explains everything very well and provides real life connections to materials. As unintersted as I am was in the subject matter he made me want to learn more. He gives great study guides and the tests are true to the material he covers in class.
He's a great guy and he is very funny, but I guess biology just isn't my thing because I get like C's on his tests. They are very tricky so be careful. The last test I took I got a good grade, but if your looking for easiness he's not the professor for you. However, if your looking for a challenge and a very funny professor...he's the guy for you!
Great professor!! Very clear and well organized. You know exactly what to expect with him. Just take notes and you'll do fine.
great teacher, easy class, you will learn alot,
Writes notes in projector while he lectures, quizes do not work against you, outside exercises are easy and fun, exams are easy too. Can't fail his class! Highly recommended!
The only time I used the book was to look at the diagram the materia for his test and quiz come from his notes. Memorize it and understand it and you will do great. He is very great for such a boring subject and very helpfull too.
WoW! I don't know what these people are talking about with the whole EASY TESTS thing. They are far from easy. He gave us like 40 muliple choice questions and 6 essay questions 5 test 5 quizes and they all count. And extra credit his suks. Do urself a fav and go with Prof Hursh instead. I heard shes really good.
The guy under me is just probably mad because he didn't do any of his work and got an F. This teacher is so great. only gives notes you need. don't need the book. tests are easy, even the essay Qs. projects are easy and can be fun... one of them was to watch "the day after tommorow" and answer some Qs. this prof is defintely recommended.
He is a really good professor/ very understanding. His notes are really neat & he explains things clearly. The tests are a little tricky but if you pay attention & study you will do just fine. Do not take Hersh-- take Moore.
Extremely intellectual. Teaches very well, and expresses himself well along with the material. Kind professor and can be funny at times. I suggest you do take this professor if you want to learn... class is very interesting.
Professor Moore makes the Biology class very interesting even for people that their majors have nothing to do with science. In this class you'll have fun, but at the same you'll need to study. If you read the chapters from the book and your notes you shouldn't do bad. I learned a lot from here, and I really enjoyed it more than I expected.
You'd have to be an idiot to fail this man's class! By bringing up very interesting issues and topics concerning the enviroment, he keeps you locked in! Just study and you'll be fine! Great Professor!
This class was great!! I'm not much for Biology, but I learned a lot in this class, it's a must take! He gives tests from his notes, so write them down!! and if he sees the class struggling, he gives extra assignments to get some A's.. Awesome!!!
This guy is a good teacher but the class itself is hard the tests are hard and the quizes are hard. But if you have to endure the pain of Biology it's best with him. Extra credit is available 20pts ... which is good and raised me to the low B I got instead of a C.
GREAT SCIENCE TEACHER! He makes an effort to make sure the class understands the information. I got an A in his class. How you may ask? Read, study, pay attention, take notes and ask questions.
Study Guide? The study guide he gave us is more like an outline of the chapters, the study guide is really no help at all! He's an ok guy, but he knows that everyone takes that class for an easy passing grade, so he makes it super hard!
extremly hard teacher he knows his stuff but when it comes to test there like a hard ball he throws at u he tries his best to help us do well on the test but somehow the test are extremly hard he does teach well but test are completly difficult he is a tough professor but you get to learn a lot in that class which i enjoyed alot.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROF! his tests are impossible and he is very unwilling to help.he is also quite rude and even somewhat ****.he gets pleasure out of seeing students fail everyone in my class did either bad or terrible.he tries 2 trick u into thinkin things will get better but it is complete BS.DONT TAKE IT WITH HIM! TRUST ME hes very unfair.
He's a nice guy but yes he is hard. Attendance and note taking is a must. Will lecture to the last freaking minute. Ive never had to work so hard for a C in my life. If your willing to work than yes he's a good teacher but he will show no mercy. He is passable so good luck.
He teaches material from useless powerpoints and none of it will be on the test, worst professor I have ever had. You are left alone surfing the web for useful information because the class book is a complete mock. This “professor” will make you do a service “learning” project comprise of 12 hours. Trust me avoid his bad teaching skills and grades.
I was scared for my 4.0, and I'm an Honors student. I worked really hard to get my A. His tests are ridiculous and are completely faulty, so it doesn't matter how smart you are, rather how lucky. After the test we would ALWAYS correct him and he would just tell us at the end of the semester he will move us up a letter grade if we are close to it.
One Word to describe his Class: HARD = Drop/Withdrawal
to be absolutely honest mr.moore is a great teacher and he can give difficult tests BUT if you take good notes and study them good and im not talking about hours of studying (i studied about 1 hour for each test)you should AT LEAST get a C im not a great student but this guy actually made biology fun and somewhat easy to understand.great teacher.
He goes by the book completely! Study!!! Its not an easy grade, but he really does make an effort to make you understand. He is always on time, and respectful. Lots of quizzes & tests, but its better chances of getting passing! He really answers everyones questions, I passed with a C, & I studied alot. He allows you to do extra credit. Hes so nice
He was awsome. He explained things very clearly and made a point to answer all questions fully. I didn't have to study that hard to get an A in his class. He gives alot of qizes and tess which overll helps your grade.
Ok yes, he does know his material and he does teach you important things, But his exams are made more difficult than needed and so are his quizes he tries to trick you. He makes it seem as if all his students are trying to pass an exam to become the next top scientists of the world!Feels like he plans for questions that will result in lost points.
THIS PROFESSOR IS ONE OF THOSE THAT TEACHES WHATS IN THE BOOK LIKE POWER POINT STRAIGHT OUT OF THE BOOK NOT GOOD AT EXPLAINING OR ANSWERING QUESTIONS, HE DOESSNT KNOW HOW TO GET THE CLASS INVOLED IN THE LESSON, IT WAS A WASTE OF A SEMEMSTER
let me just point out that if you are looking to take an easy class this is not the prof for you. he really knows his material. good teacher. tests are really hard you need to study! but overall good teacher.
This professor is not interesting in class. He may know his subject, but I think he does not transmit it to the students well. He is mean if you ask for help outside of the schedule, his phrase is this: "I empathize but don't sympathize." so he says to students that have problems in class. Lab practicums are super hard. Im an A student & dropped
Great class and an awesome professor :] Zoology doesn't have any prerequisites but be careful - this is NOT a slacker class. Reading the chapters and taking notes are a must in this class if you want an A. 5 exams and about 5 or 6 quizzes plus a large Species List project. Fantastic class for biology majors and helpful prof :]
He is a good professor overall. His tests are HARD, but his quizes are easy. I thought of the class as an MCAT prep class because you are forced to study and you are gonna know the stuff when you leave class. Going to class isnt' required, but recommended. He is a funny guy and makes the class enjoyable. Take him if you are serious about BIO.
Class was hard but manageable. Class had like 35 students, ended with like 14. If you study and pay attention the class is still hard but you can get an A. The final project of a species list is pretty bad, you have to find like 400 different species and catalog them. The class was ok and i did have fun. He also tries hard to help alot.
DO NOT take this guy! His test are hard & no matter how much you go over the powerpoints it still doesnt the make the test any easier! He makes you do a community service project on top of that which is useless because I still ended up failing the class!
(Lab) Very challenging exams but considering the course material it's to be expected - a lot of memorization of anatomy of organisms and classification names. Studying is a MUST in Moore's class - but he is fantastic. He is well educated on the subject and is willing to help should you have any questions or concerns.
Nice at first but wait until the 1st test. I took both the lab and lecture with him BIG MISTAKE. Requires U to do a project that took months and he took 2mins to grade it the day of the final! Not prepared for class, unorganized and does not grade fairly! Out of 24 students only 6 remained and took the final! Doesn't review for tests.Poor skills!
I took this class for Summer A and I found it extreamly easy. Everything on the test and the quizzes he goes over during his lecture. Using the book to study might help, but all the information is in the power points anyways. Great Professor; couldn't have been any easier, and he gives extra credit for the tests.
The most BORING prof. I took & then dropped the course after the 1st test! He doesn't teach what will be on the test. When giving a "review for a test" he say's "study ch.1-4 EVERYTHING!" Had him for both lab and lecture--worst ever for zoo not sure about other classes. Not helpful, doesn't communicate-I felt like I was talking to a wall at times.
Took the Lab with him. His quizzes are short response or fill in(1 every week). Pretty much read the material in the manual that he outlines. His practicums are manageable, the midterm was tough compared to the final practicum. Overall great professor, if you need help don't hesitate to ask. He's very knowledgeable about the subject.
Very helpful, makes the class interesting, if you get anything lower than a B you must have something wrong with you. If you just pay attention in class and don't doze off you shouldn't have any problem passing with a good grade.
He is a great teacher, he is funny, he makes the class interesting, and he explains very well. BUT you gotta study a lot for the quizzes and tests, and they are not easy at all, you WILL need the book. If you want to learn, take this class. If you are not used to study, take something else.
took him for lab...worst professor ever. Wasnt helpful at all, when you ask him questions he gives you the most general answer. Makes the practicals more difficult than they need to be. I was 2 points from passing and he didnt give it to me. Dont recommend AT ALL
Took this course online. Very fair and explained everything thoroughly. There are discussion forums you have to participate in. You will work for your grade, but he lets you drop a couple lowest grades. He also offers extra credit. Highly recommend.
Took him for both lab and lecture. Yes the class is difficult but if you take notes and study you can pass.
Great Professor. The class is very hard but if you take notes and study you can do fine. He is very honest with all his students and tells you that if you are just taking this class to get credit then you should consider something else.
Took course online, you do use the text book. Proctored Midterm and Final. Fairly easy to pass if you do the work required. You must study, and read the book. Teacher is awesome and extremely helpful. He curved both the midterm and the final. Definitely should take this course with him.
Very difficult. Had to drop the class. Nice man but will not help you at all. Explains well but the information on the quizzes and tests are beyond random and difficult. Must study.
GOOD teacher. Lectures with powerpoints and posts them online. BIO is a hard subject, so READ the book!NEED TO STUDY! The quizzes are easy, just review the questions at the end of the chapter. The tests are from test banks, easynotecards is GREAT site to study for tests. Read the questions at the end of chapter sections for the short answers.
THE BEST PROFESSOR in MDC. Knowledgeable, clear!!! (American), helpful, ethical, passionate about Biology. Pushes you hard, it's the only way to learn all the material. Bio is a LOT of memorization, if you don't follow his instructions and study with time you wont pass. Don't take the class if you have many others, YOU MUST DEDICATE TIME TO IT!
GREAT LAB PROFESSOR! easy going, helpful, very knowledgeable. The lab requires weekly reports from the book, a weekly quiz on the last chapter covered. He will provide a 'guide' to follow from each chapter for you to focus on & wont quiz on anything that is not on that guide. Follow it and you will get an A & will be ready for mid-term & final.
regular bio teacher, just take him to get bio 2 out the way. if u can take OSES, he is better. but if not take this guy and his test and quizes are regular bio questions u can get online. just study million of bio questions online.
Here's what you need to pass his class: READ THE BOOK, REWRITE YOUR NOTES, LISTEN TO THE LECTURE, DIGEST THE BOOK. I came in not knowing how to study at all and at the end of October was when I managed to buckle down and I passed his classes with a C and B (having gone from getting Fs and Cs to getting Cs, Bs, and As on his assignments. GET BOOK.
Omg hardest bio class ever, be ready to read the chapters 3 times omg
The class can be pretty tough. There is a quiz practically every class which can be annoying but does help you because you're more prepared for the midterm and final because you HAVE to study for quizzes every class. 10 Quizes, Midterm & Final, and Lab ReportJournals. So far I have a 88% in class. What I can say is, he is very lenient grader.
10 quizes, midterm & final & lab report journals. Quizzes come from guide that he outlines. Although, what helped me a lot was looking up things on google so I could see more pictures of certain specimens, everything isn't in lab book. Used google a lot. Class requires a good amount of effort but def. doable. I have a B without too much effort.
Prof Moore is an excellent and knowledgeable professor, his lectures are interesting. He gave us just 1 exam and the final since I took the class as a Midterm, I would recommend the regular term. READ THE BOOK, DO MASTERING BIOLOGY AND PAY ATTENTION TO CLASS. The Bio Lab was the best thing happened to me this semester. Lab Exams NO multiple choice!
Make sure you only take this class and the lab during a given semester. Heavy Work! get ready for an endless homework, online assignments, quizzes per chapter, get ready to learn Latin to the max, drawing skills? useful! and even get ready for two labs per session. Take notes of everything he says as everything will be in his tricky tests.
Tough class but fair grading. He makes you work for your grade, however, if you do read and do your homework on time, nothing is that difficult. Great class and great professor!
One of my favorite professors in MDC. Gives a lot of chances to pass such as extra credit, homework etc. The best
I took him online- no access code required for his class so thankfully the textbook was pretty cheap. I didn't talk to him much but his class is very easy to pass- weekly quizzes with 6 discussions and one proctored exam, and all his quizzes are on quizlet... but I genuinely learned with his material. Highly recommend for virtual.
Really want to learn & be the best in your career take him. The labs are super hands on. You will see, prepare &dissect a ton of things. You have 2 draw pictures of most. Time-consuming but you will learn so much in the process. A lot of work but so rewarding. Midterm & finals are practicums which to me where fun. Find this boring get a new major.
Professor Moore is very dedicated to his classes (he even tries to remember students names). He is a clear communicator and his very punctual. This class had ton of assignments, lengthy exams, and in class assignments count as part of your grades. This class particularly requires extensive amount of studying to pass.
Professor More really knows bout his matter. He is well prepared. Youll need the textbook and if you want an A do not skip any assignment, read the book and do not miss classes. If you do that, everything is going good.
For env. class, the class is mostly quizzes, review tests and discussion boards. Powerpoints are provided, which helped me when it came time for the proctored tests. Quizlet helped me study for weekly quizzes. I did not need a text book and all you have to do is complete the assignments in order to pass. Fairly easy class if you need a credit.
Good Professor! A lot discussions as homework, sometimes assigns two quizzes due on a specific day! Quizzes and discussions were easy! I ended with a B. I recommend taking him, he is ONLINE, can't get any better than that tbh.
Professor Moore is a good professor but his class is tough. You need to read the book and know about the subject if not you will not pass. You cannot mess around in this class. He assings lots of work but they arent that hard. He also assings alot of discussions. Take this class if you really want to learn about biology. If u want an easy A Avoid
this isnt the professor for you if you have a life. Four chapter quizzes and two overly difficult discussions every two weeks. His review quizzes and all exams are proctored. (No review given) His syllabus states no make ups or extensions, and believe me even if your own parent passes away you arent getting any help either. Nvr Had issues befr
Hiss class is tough, a lot of hw, you need to do well in exams/quizzes to pass the class. He helped me with my grade. Kind and helpful professor,. I do not recommend him if you're having another tough class tho. Overall 8/10
Professor Moore is amazing. Hes very knowledgeable and if you want to learn like how YOURE supposed to in college, you will learn. One of the best at MDC Kendall
This is a great professor. Hes serious about his job and wants his students to learn. Despite what other students write on here, his class is doable. Its only hard if youre lazy and dont want to learn. 10/10 would recommend Professor Moore. MDC needs more professors like him!!!!
A professor that actually does their job and teaches you. Amazing!!!! I would take him for all my classes if I could. These other reviews are wack they probably didnt try. Professor Moore is the best
He is probably one of my favorite professors of all time. He is very attentive and good at putting in grades. Not to mention he is very knowledgeable. P.s. has a sick ponytail makes me want to hit the waves
Professor Moore is such a hard-working professor. He knows what he's talking about and is soooo good at teaching. He's been one of my favorite professors I've had in college so far. Take him!!!! You won't regret it
Professor Moore is a good teacher and gives good lectures. As long as you pay attention and complete the work youre good. He gives drop grades so it can improve your grade if youre not doing well. Cool accent too
I learned a lot in his class. Reading comments it seems like everyone wants an easy A ( I know, I have been in class with a lot of you) rather then caring about learning material. This is not a difficult class if you keep keep up. If you want to actually learn something, then this is a good class and professor. He is knowledgable and available.
the guy himself is chill, he's passionate about what he teaches but way too much work. He gives like 2-3 assignments each week and each assignment is incredibly lengthy. its easy somewhat just very tedious because it's so much info that he wants. quizzes are easy, as long as you are paying attention and doing some of the work, you'll do well.
This professor has singlehandedly made this term my most difficult one. He assigns a LOT of homework on a weekly basis and you have to take a quiz every other week (however they are not incredibly difficult, but do have 20 questions each). My real issue comes to the amount of work that he gives. It becomes almost unmanageable. Not an easy class.
Although he drops 1 grade in every assignment category, this professor assigns A LOT of work. The writing & discussion assignments are easy but they are VERY time consuming. Quizzes & tests have a 1-min per question time limit. Since the workload is so much, I would only recommend taking 1 other class along w/ this one. Good luck.. you'll need it.
His lectures are useless; he gets off track and doesn't cover enough topics on the mandatory study guides we need to turn in. Even if you study really hard, don't be surprised if you get a bad grade on an exam. He doesn't teach, so make sure you have prior environmental knowledge beforehand. A great, kind person but not a very good instructor.
Pros: Extra credit, review quizzes are easy. Cons: There are four discussion posts due every 2 weeks, there is 2 proctored exams that you have 80 questions and 80 minutes for both. For the quizzes you only have as much time as the number of questions, discussions he expects you to write out a whole novel. This class is easy if you study nonstop.
A lot of homework. The homework is easy. 4 study guides that r found in the text book. Vocabulary definitions. Discussions r easy. The review quizzes r cake. The final and midterm r both proctored. Easy class
Although he does give drop grades, this class requires more work than english, speech, math, and behavioral sciences. TOO MUCH WRITING.
toughest grader, load of homework including amount of writing that I've seen yet(not to mention its a "science" class) , super demanding, and grading critiria that is not proportional to the amount of homework. Would not recommend( though material itself is interesting)
the worst prof like ever LMFAOOOO 50 assignments, for a 6 week class mind you.., consisting of 24 longggg study guide assignments covering the whole book for no reason, 14 extensive discussion/question-answer assignments, and 6 proctored quizzes. but dont worry he drops SOME grades at the end. yall dont choose this man fr.
Genuinely the worst professor I ever had at MDC. Just for a SIX-WEEK course, we had to read ALL 24 chapters, do lengthy assignments, and discussions (You will be writing way more than you do in English), and PROCTORED AND TIMED quizzes. Oh! And a proctored & timed midterm and final! DO NOT CHOOSE THIS PROFESSOR!!!!
This class requires a lot of time and dedication. Would not recommend taking it if you are working as a full time student. We had over 55 lengthy assignments over the course of the semester. The professor was very genuine and kind, however the workload is heavy and not for the weak.
One of the worst professors I ever took
Leave. Just leave. Save yourself.
The professor himself is very nice and helpful but attendance is mandatory and makeups aren't allowed. HEAVY workload but if you study you'll be fine. Lots of homework and quizzes, a midterm, a final (or a lengthy final project). If you can dedicate time then you can take the class but work hard.
DO NOT TAKE! Professor Moore gives a TON of busy work and has almost near impossible quizzes every other week. Tests/quizzes are very detailed so taking this class at the same time with other difficult courses is not recommended.
DO NOT take this class unless you like to write papers and do busy work. it felt like he gave us assignments just to give them. his quizzes and tests are hard and he doesn't do a review or study guide. i really don't recommend for online. he also takes his sweet time grading everything.
He's a tough grader who expects you to know a lot of material beyond what's covered on the lecture. Daily multiple-choice quizzes, the test are around 80 questions each, are notoriously difficult and far exceed the level of difficulty presented in the study guide. Doesn't give extra credit or curves even though the class average on the final was 44
DO NOT TAKE! Professor Moore gives a TON of busy work and has almost near impossible quizzes every other week. Tests/quizzes are very detailed 80-90 written responses for tests no multiple choice at all. so taking this class at the same time with other difficult courses is not recommended
A lot of homework and discussion posts which are not hard, just tedious, and a lot of quizzes. Since the class was only once a week, a lot of the material wasn't taught in class but assigned as readings. Which is not bad, I just hoped he would have explained more of the material during the lectures. Just take his class more than once a week.
Professor Moore is good! I took him as a short term during the summer and it was hard because this classes go by fast. A lot of work was done at home and there was a lot of writing assignments. If you take him in the summer, just make sure to do ur assignments and you'll be fine! Final was 50% of our grade.
Good human being, caring and understanding. About the class, get ready to work.
Beware - this class is a heavy lift, with lots of papers, assignments, and timed quizzes/exams. But the professor is genuinely helpful. Use unstuck study and the free textbook to stay on top of the workload.
This class was by far way too hard. If you're looking for an environmental science professor don't choose this one. He assigns 4 assignments a week and 1 test every week. He is a tough grader!! And if you're late to class he will not allow you to take his test.
Professor Moore seems to have too much time on his hands. Over 7 weekly assignments, two of which are always lengthy research assignments and the rest are quizzes and busy work. For this being an AA prerequisite class he sure makes it feel like a capstone class with the unnecessary overload of assignments. Only good thing is extra credit.
The explains very well his subject, I recommend to take the class if you do nothing else but dedicate to college. This class is really heavy, I usually have A+ in all my classes but this one has been tough. assignments per week are 3-7 (large) which is crazy and has lead me to big stress levels, and if you miss a class he won't let you do the test
took this class thinking it'd be easy but instead loaded w/ hw, 25 question proctored weekly quizzes, 80 question proctored midterm & final, 2 research assignments per module or 1 research & 1 discussion. be ready to spend your entire semester studying & reviewing. work is easy but too much. don't recommend if you want a chill easy online class.
Professor Moore's lectures were clear and helpful. The course requires independent study outside of class to fully grasp the material, which is vital for successfully completing assignments and exams.
I took a 6-week course where we had 6 quizzes, a midterm and final exam, all with mandatory lockdown browser. Some exams were even in the same week. Plus tons of homework and assignments. The class overall isn't difficult, but it's a loooooot of work.
He's not objective enough for preparing the students for the tests. We need practice questions and clear study guides.
He's a nice guy don't get me wrong but this was a very hard class. Lots of homework/assignments and at least 2 tests per unit. Mid term is worth more than the final (which was a project) but you should still try and get the minimum grade for it which is a 70%. He gives you the whole semester for it but some assignments can be done in a day.
