Pretty easy class. You just watch films and then take a quiz based on those films. There's only like 4 chapter tests, so you need the book! He was very lenient too. He gave us a lot of chances to make up our work. He did take a while to respond to our emails though.

Okay so here it is, make sure you read the textbook and make 4x6 flashcards for your chapter tests. He does not lecture about the textbook, but the chapter tests are a big portion of the grade. Make sure you read the handouts because he will make a big deal out of it in class. If you're prepared you have nothing to worry about. Great teacher.

one of the most inspiring people i have ever met. i say people because hes more than a professor. He is a really great person who is able to teach without judgement and has a gift of making you understand life and yourself. Even if you don't pass his class its really weird if you don't learn something that will help you move forward in life.

This class with Prof. Shaughnessy is easy. If you want to get an A u need to read the book. exams are all on the textbook. You need to watch the movies and take quiz after. It's all multiple choice. Since it's online class, you need to help yourself. just read the book and answer the tests on time you'll be fine. Take it with him. He is very nice.

Took this class during the Winter get ready to read and watch a lot of movies. Although, the movies required to watch were entertaining. Participation matters tests and quizzes are straight forward, you do need the book. Professor O'Shaughnessy is rather funny and gives good feedback. I would take him again.

David is a wonderful teacher, gives a lot of extra credit and you get the grade you earn if you work for it. Be ready to do a lot of reading and film watching, his lectures arent hard to follow. Would definitely take again.

This is not a professor you want to take. I took his psych 101 class and it was the hardest class I've ever taken. He barely teaches anything in class and most of the course is done outside of class. He gives roughly 4 quizzes a week and more than 80% of the class fails them. Out of the original 60, 40 remained and less than 10 passed the course.

He's is a very funny and odd professor, always making weird jokes and sharing his life stories. A quiz every class meeting based on the readings and films he assigned, they were very easy as long as you read. Make sure you keep up with the chapters, and just show up to class. Psychology 101, i will definitely take his class again.

The things that I learned in this class shaped the way I live and thats the biggest takeaway. The prof genuinely cares and that gives you a real push. Film quizzes are 5-10 questions max & VERY easy. Ch. tests are harder but you can use a big index card and write REALLY small. The grade you get reflects the time you put into the class.
