Great Professor! Makes complex topics simple, and he is very friendly to everyone. Gives you a practice exam that pretty much gives you all the answers. All texts are online, but you really don't need them. Just take notes & get his powerpoints and you are all set! Would gladly take again!

David is an excellent teacher and makes this complex subject highly comprehensible. There is no assigned reading but he does look for details on his 3 written tests. There is one 13 page paper about of any relevant topic chosen by the student, which I found highly interesting. I will never look at clouds and wind the same again. Thanks David!

Dullest subject in America, so it's not fair to say he's boring. He's a very nice guy with a sense of humor, and very knowledgeable. The subject is dry and he did the best he could to alter the labs Rodrigue created to make them comprehensible. Study powerpoints, focus on the study guide as that's the test pretty much, and just do the darn labs

Super easy class. Honestly, you don't even have to show up to lectures although I do think it's helpful as you won't really have to study much for the exams if you do. Powerpoints are uploaded online though. Labs mandatory but also super easy. Online quiz each week, 2 midterms and 1 final. Super nice guy and easy class.

I would not take this class ever again. Lectures are so boring and long, he shows his 50+ slide powerpoint the whole lecture and they contain no information for me to be able to review them again on my own. 13 quizzes in total, lowest 3 get dropped. Labs every week and 2 midterms. Really boring class, I would not recommend

Dr. Pepper was overall rather easy-going and understanding. His classes were just lectures on slides that were also available online, but during lectures he would add information not on the slides that are on quizzes. Workload wise there are weekly quizzes (he drops the lowest 2 out of 12), 3 papers, a group website project, and final exam.

This professor is great but the topic was not in my interest so this class was kind of a drag. There was a quiz each week and three tests, the last one being the final. They are easy if you study the study guides he posts on the beach board. It was very hard for me to find interest in the subject but just put in some effort and you should be fine.

Very chill and funny guy. Online course with zoom meetings he kept it interesting and explained the hw well. Gives a step by step video doing the homework you just follow along with different numbers so it is easy.

dr pepper is definitely one of the better profs ive had. this class is 2 hrs - 1 hr lecture/1 hr lab. ive never taken stats before and I find this class to be incredibly easy - he goes over every lab step by step and is always available to help outside of class. every week a lab (usually finished in class) and 10 question quiz is due, 2 exams total

Professor Pepper was great except his teaching style is not my favorite. He relies on students taking notes and although he has lecture slides, they don't exactly give you all the information you need for the tests. So paying attention is important. I found it hard to focus during lectures because his wording can be too scientific/ monotone.

Pepper was a good professor. I liked his portion of the class. Lots of information given in class, so I would recommend not missing any classes. I would take this class again. There's also a field trip which was really fun.

Dr. Pepper is very nice and understanding, but TAKE GOOD NOTES! He never took attendance but it was almost mandatory in order to get a passing grade on the weekly quizzes since most of the quiz material was based on his class lectures/discussions and not so much on the PowerPoint slides. He's flexible with his coursework and has funny jokes!

The lectures were good, has lots of interesting stories about his experiences with weather and climatology. Grade is based off of two exams (40 multiple choice questions and 3 free response), a final (50 mc and 5 free response), 10 labs, and random in-class quizzes. He posts study guides for all the exams and wants you to learn. Highly recommend!

Dr. Pepper cares and wants people to learn! Exams (2 midterms, 1 final) seem overwhelming. Attend all the lectures and use his study guides, you will pass. Most challenging were memorizing the free response answers but he sometimes tells you which ones to focus on for the exam. Lecture slides posted but lecture is better since most info is verbal.

Easy class, chill dude just not the best at teaching. Lecture slides posted on canvas. Test prep: rely on slides, make notes & study the practice questions. Readings not necessary AT ALL. I recommend going to class cus there are sometimes random group quizzes you get participation cred for just by being present.

Took this class to fulfill a requirement, you can tell he's very passionate about what he teaches but his lectures are very boring. The tests are also pretty difficult if you don't take notes so TAKE NOTES. The labs are equally as boring and kind of difficult. If environmental science interests you, like me, you'll be fine

Super easy class if you just study the sample midterm and final questions! most of the actual test questions come straight from those. Labs aren't too bad either. Only thing to watch out for is the random group pop quizzes he uses to take attendance. Overall, pretty chill and an easy A if you stay on top of stuff.

He was a good guy, but not a great teacher; his lectures were long, and his slides always had paragraphs on them lol. He also included about 5-6 free-response questions on the exams, but would put 10-12 on the study guide, expecting us to memorize them all. On top of that, he was a tough grader on the free-response questions. He was nice tho!

The entire class is just him reading from the slides and an occasional group discussion that counts towards your attendance. The information can be interesting, but it's pretty boring most of the time. He is a tough grade because his rubric is very precise. I would recommend completing all three essays to make sure your grade isn't low by the end.

The lectures are long, but he takes his time and explains each concept thoroughly. Just beware of the random quizzes, they're kind of like extra credit. There are three major exams: Part A is multiple choice, and Part B requires you to draw and write out the concepts covered in class. If you stay on top of the material, the class is manageable.

Beware of pop quizzes
