A fantastic teacher! He keeps his lectures interesting and funny. Whenever he sees the class getting too bored, he puts up a picture of his cat and tell stories as a bit of a break. The only grades are the three tests in the class, which are hard but passable. The answers come from his lectures and the textbook (not many from the text).
I highly recommend Dr Porinchu. He is passionate about his area of study, and it comes through in his lectures. I took Geog 1111 and he had to cover A LOT of material. He always made sure we understood before moving on. Go to class, he gives extra credit for participation!
He's in his early 30's and has no accent. Very lively and is willing to help and is able to interact with a lecture class very easily. The material, although not hard, is not a walk in the park. You need to study. The bright side is all his tests are multiple choice and you get to drop your lowest grade at the end of the semester.
I enjoyed professor Porinchu. He made his lectures interesting. Only three tests and the final make up your grade so that kind of sucks. But he is very helpful and willing to help students who ask for it. I would definitely recommend him.
I really enjoyed Dr. Porinchu's class and found it entertaining to have an Indian teacher with a Canadian accent. He makes class enjoyable and is passionate about what he teaches. He sometimes will give out random extra credit points if you answer his questions aloud in class or for attendance. His old tests are usually found on quizlet.
A pretty funnycool guy, but lectures can be boring if you're not into geography. Three tests are the only grades . If you pay attention in class and study the night before you'll do fine. He gives extra credit for answering question in class if hardly anyone shows up. Try to go to the class after the test bc thats when most people won't be there.
Overall great teacher. As long as you follow the guidelines given for the assignments, it's hard to not do well on them.
Dr. P is the man. He is really smart and knows what he is talking about. He has a great sense of humor and totally kept the class engaged during lecture. Some of the graphs and charts that he shows are hard to follow, but he will clarify them if needed. Overall, great class with really interesting topics. Easy to get an A if you do the assignments.
Porinchu's got a good sense of humor and is really passionate and knowledgeable about geography. I found it hard to sit through his lectures, though, because it's kind of boring if you don't like geography. Make sure to READ the book and listen to what he says in class. Your only grades are 3 tests (but you drop 1) and the final.
Funny guy. Three tests and a final, one test dropped. He messed up making the second test and gave everyone a 20 point curve, so I'm not even taking the third test because I wouldn't get better than my test average. Read the textbook to get an A, but good lecture notes will be easier & better. Textbook is really, really bad.
Professor Porinchu was great! He is hilarious and makes the topic interesting. Absolutely recommend. I loved his class!
I loved his class. He made geography easy to understand and interesting.
Attendance isn't mandatory, but is definitely necessary. His lectures cover a ton of material, but you'll still need to read the entire book because he doesn't cover everything in class that will be on the tests. The content is not very hard but there is a lot of it. Definitely have to work hard for a good grade. Wouldn't take him again.
The class is a lot of information. Only grades are 3 tests and a final, and your lowest of the three test grades gets dropped. Attendance isn't mandatory, but its probably a good idea to go because he talks about a lot more than is on the notes he puts online, and even with that you need to read the book to do well.
Dr. Porinchu is really funny. His lectures are good and you can tell he loves geography. The tests were super hard to me. It was a lot of application in fake scenarios. Theres 3 test and a final. He drops your lowest test score and the final is direct questions from the previous tests. If you apply yourself, you'll probably do well.
Dr. Porinchu is a nice and funny guy, and he knows much about his material. The book and Powerpoints are necessary to review, but attendance isn't necessary. Went to class 5 or 6 times and made an A.
I really like Dr. Porinchu. You definitely need to study a lot for the tests, but they are straight forward and the final is a piece of cake if you study for it. He also gives lots of extra credit to people who answer questions in class. Also, definitely make sure that you come and take good notes. He does say stuff in class that's in the book.
Awesome guy, good sense of humor, and excellent professor. Tests are straightforward, but you will need to read the book and/or take good notes. The final is super easy, he uses test questions from previous tests you take, which are all accessible online.
Porinchu is great but this class is so hard!!! He is very enthusiastic but the material is just too much to understand. READ THE TEXTBOOK!!!! He gives a lot of extra credit points for participating in class. Only got an A in this class because of StudyBlue. Don't take this unless you're ready for a lot of studying!!!
Porinchu is awesome! He's so passionate about geography & made me really want to take more in the future! Definitely use the slides as a guideline for the reading or you'll read a bunch you dont need to know and it'll help you focus more on what'll be on the test. Answer his q's in class and he'll likely give you some extra points on the next test
This class is not an easy A, but he is a great teacher that is very passionate about geography. There are three tests and a final, but he drops the lowest test grade. He is really funny and great with a large class, but the tests aren't super easy, you'll have to study. Participate in class because he gives a lot of points for answering questions.
Professor Porinchu has a clear interest in physical geography and shows it every lecture. He doesn't require attendance but will sometimes reveal test questions a couple of lectures before the test. The tests are very specific and are hard to Ace in my opinion. The textbook is strongly recommended because he takes questions from there also
This class was really tough but Porinchu was a really good professor. He's very passionate about the subject & answers all questions. You'll need to read before class though because there's a lot of material, especially in the first two units. I studied a lot and made 80's on every test. He also makes lame jokes a lot so pretend to laugh.
His lectures are extremely boring, but the tests are pretty straightforward. I studied a lot for every test and made fine grades. I thought this would be an easy A, but made a B +.
I heard that this class was easy before I signed up but the way his syllabus works is not easy. You have 3 tests(each worth 30%) and he drops the lowest one. You also have a final worth 40%. He also gives extra points in class that about 2 points to the next test, but he only gives them if you answer random trivia questions that are often unrelated
Read the chapter before class, come to class and he will explain everything that will be on the test. Lectures definitely get boring but study and you can make an A.
Porinchu can turn mundane lectures into fascinating ones with his passion for geography and quirky sense of humor. Straightforward tests. Lots of reading and studying. Gives excellent guidance and makes you feel enthusiastic about pursuing geography! Overall, an outstanding professor.
Awesome guy with a great personality. Lectures are entertaining and information isnt too bad if you actually try.
Porinchu is a nice and caring professor. You can visit him during office hours to review past tests and ask questions. The class itself was pretty hard even after reading the textbook and attending class. I received an 81 on all 3 of the main tests. He does give out extra credit though during lectures if you answer questions.
You need to go to class to understand the material and he gives extra credit if you answer questions during class. You don't really need the textbook if you pay attention and class and take notes. He is very knowledgeable about what he's talking about and cracks some dad jokes a couple of times. Good choice
Dr. Porinchu is awesome! His FYOS was so interesting and enjoyable. He is a really funny guy, and is super fun to be around
I thought GEOG 1111 would be an easy class, but it was not. This class is VERY lecture heavy and hard to follow. There are only 3 tests and the final is 40% of your grade so basically if you do bad on a test your grade won't be too good. He tried to be funny and give out bonus points to some people, but to me just was not enjoyable.
A lot of the information in his lectures comes straight from the book so attendance isn't mandatory but his explanations definitely help. Really funny guy and gives out bonus points to people who answer questions in lecture
only three grades for the whole shebang. however he does you a solid and drops your lowest one. Nice guy, difficult material. You don't have to go to class (god knows I didn't) but its definitely more helpful. Difficult class but a good teacher.
Porinchu was an amazing professor. You can easily get an A by showing up to all lectures and reading the textbook. The only assignments are tests so be prepared. He also asks a lot of extra credit questions, which helped my grade. Definitely recommend!
I took Geography because I heard it was the easiest physical science. I quickly leaned that whoever told me that was completely wrong. There is 3 lengthy test, and the second test is so hard. He does drop one test; therefore, the two test and the final are the only grades at the end. Try to take a different professor. Most of them have more grades
GEOG 1111 with Porinchu is an easy physical science to take if you need one. There are only three tests plus the final and he drops your lowest test grade. I got A's on all the exams with little studying. Going to class is definitely worth it because he gives out extra credit and explains things well. Highly recommend this class.
The global climate change class had several papers and a presentation but the class itself is not to bad. Dr. Porinchu is an awesome professor, you can tell he is very passionate about his field and loves to hear feedback from the class.
Only grades are 3 tests, one which you can drop, an the final which counts for 40% of your grade. Lectures can be boring, but if you pay attention and are good notes, the tests aren't hard. Porinchu isn't the most interesting lecturer, but he's really passionate and always let us out of class early. Would take again
He's really funny and I enjoyed his class. He didn't have many grades, so if you aren't a great test taker you should probably stay away. You definitely have to go class to pass.
Porinchu definitely tries to liven up a rather dry subject, and his lectures are fairly interesting and easy to follow if you put in a little effort to listen. He gives out test questions before tests and is very accessible during office hours. His tests are very straightforward, and there are three midterms and a final, one of which you can drop.
I started this class reading every single chapter in the textbook. I quickly realized that was not necessary. His lextures are very detailed and all posted online. Apparently, he is the harder physical geography professor, but it wasnt hard at all. I hate science, but he makes it so interesting. He also gives extra credit for answering questions.
I thoroughly enjoyed class, to the point where I wanted to be there on the few days I missed. He's an easy grader even though his assignments are pretty difficult (i.e. the research papers are time-intensive and require a lot of outside research but he does not hit you for mistakes very hard). He is fun and has some interesting personal stories.
Porinchu is awesome. He is funny & while every class is just a lecture through his powerpoints, he's interesting. He gives out extra credit points if you answer questions he asks in class. You can get away w/o going to class if you read the textbook. 60% of the final are questions directly from the first 3 tests which he posts on elc w/ keys
This class relies solely on multiple choice tests, so that is something to consider. The material is pretty interesting and he teaches it well. Definitely recommend reading the chapters before going to class and participate. He'll give bonus points on tests if you answer correctly. If you need a physical science, take this.
Easy A for physical science requirement. Just read the chapters and do the study guide and study quizlets. Put in a few hours and some effort and you will come out with an A.
Really nice guy but you're graded on 3 tests and the exam. He drops your lowest test score but the tests are based on the lectures and reading so even if you just go to class, there is still a lot to study. If you aren't interested in geography this class is tough.
Honestly I did not attend class and managed to do great on the tests. A lot of his test questions are taken from previous tests and he practically tells you what is on the test because he does not want anyone to fail. He is very passionate about geography!
Dr. Porinchu truly loves Physical Geography and makes his lectures interesting. A lot of previous test questions can be found online and are often recycled for the tests. I really enjoyed this class (and he rounded my grade at the end of the semester).
This was one of my favorite professors. He is really funny and truly cares for his students. And he is super easy and non-chalant.
Great lecturer and is very funny. Gives out extra credit if you answer his questions. Look for any tests online.
Porinchu is a really laidback guy. He posts his lectures on elc so if you dont want to go to class you dont have to. His tests reflect lectures and he gives some of the test answers the day before the exam. Funny guy and made going to lecture not so bad. Definitely tru and take him
If you're looking for an Easy A, this is not the class for you. There are only 3 tests that go into your grade (two tests (30%) and the final (40%)), so there is a LOT you need to study for each test. His lectures were long and dragged on. Lectures varied a lot from the textbook readings. Study guides were not very helpful either.
Dr. Porinchu was probably the chillest professor I have had at UGA. This class is pretty straightforward, and easy if you study a few days before the exams. Attendance was not mandatory. He gives extra points for questions.
Dr. Porinchu is the GOAT. Take GEOG1111 with him if you just need a general physical science. He is a really cool and kind dude, gives opportunities for extra credit if you answer a question in class (usually one point on a test per answer, which goes a long way in a class that is this test heavy). It is VERY HELPFUL for tests to search quizlets!!
He is a very detailed lecutrer and if you dont read the textbook or attend his lectures it is near impossible and please review a class. If you are looking for a easy general science do not take him. If you do not like geography he is not your guy as he actually teaches it in detail and it is hard.
Loved this class and loved this professor!! Easy A and class isn't mandatory, but I would still recommend going because his lectures were interesting. He gives extra credit if you answer questions in class. Take him!!
Dr. Porinchu is a great knowledgable teacher. And there are never any surprises with his assignments; he lays out exactly what he wants from you. His lectures are extremely interesting and I always enjoyed going to class. He likes participation but he never really called anyone out randomly. I would highly recommend taking his class.
He's a truly great professor. There is a LOT of outside reading for every lecture, but he is an interesting lecturer so that makes up for it! Your grade is basically made up of 4 essays and 2 tests, but he lays out what he wants from you for each of those assignments in a lot of detail, so theres not much to worry about!
Good professor
If you need to satisfy science credit at UGA take this class. Its just 3 tests and a final exam. Sounds scary but the tests are effortless if you practice quizlets that were made for his class. Easiest A Ive gotten so far in college. And hes a cool guy.
Dr. P is a great professor. He is very knowledgeable and truly cares about the subject matter. I throughly enjoyed his class.
This was my second time taking Dr. Porinchu, and he's one of the coolest and best professors I've had at UGA. The class is not high-effort, but I encourage you to do readings and go to class because you will LEARN and have a lot of fun doing it. The essays are a drag but he grades them easy & gives good feedback on them.
There are only 3 tests (the lowest is dropped) and a final. Even though attending class is optional, go because he'll ask questions and give you extra credit. There are a lot of his previous tests online, so study those to prep for everything. If you have to take a science class but you aren't super into science, TAKE THIS CLASS!
GREAT class if you need a physical science credit. Entire grade is based on 3 tests, but all of the information is on Quizlets so it's really easy. The Zoom review sessions aren't required, but if you go & get questions right he will give extra credit. Super awesome prof, TAKE HIS CLASS!
He is super funny! There are 3 tests and the final which is 40% of your grade. Your lowest regular test grade is dropped. If you answer questions he asks in class you get extra points, but most of the time you have to actually know what's going on in order to get those points. The tests were online, "open note", but with a short time to take them.
I enjoyed this class immensely! The grace is entirely made up of 2 tests (3 but the lowest drops) and a final. He gives extra credit for answering questions in class, so be sure to show up for lectures and review your notes beforehand. Hes really funny and a genuinely interesting lecturer.
Seems like a nice guy, but I just couldnt get into his lectures. Grade is made up of 4 tests you can drop one, and he does give extra credit for answering questions in class. Pretty simple, but not my favorite.
DFP is a funny guy that knows what he's talking about. Sit in the front and pay attention and answer his questions for bonus points on the exams. The entire grade is 3 easy tests (lowest is dropped) and a final.
Take him! You are only graded off 2 tests and a final. (You take 3 tests before the final, but he drops your lowest test.) However, the tests are not bad.
DON'T TAKE THIS CLASS! He is nice, but the you are only graded on midterm tests and your final which is worth 40% of the grade. I was looking for an easy science credit, and this was not it. The lectures were very quick and what he said didn't align with the lecture material. Study guides aren't useful for the test. I would never recommend.
Great professor. This class was a very easy science credit. It is very test heavy, but he drops the lowest one. The test were very easy in my opinion, and I did not really go to class. Take him if you need an easy science class.
Love him!! The only homework is to watch a movie/documentary every week, and to come to class ready to talk about it. He's a very funny guy, and super knowledgeable on the subject. I actually had him for another class and switched my Odessy to his because I liked him so much. I learned a lot and had a good time doing it. Take him!
Easiest A I've ever gotten. No homework, just 3 tests and a final, but all the answers were on quizlet. Didn't even need to go to class. Great guy, too.
Dr. Porinchu was an excellent professor that really cared about the material. He also gives out extra credit points for students that answer questions in class. There is no homework and your grade is only based on three exams and one final. The exams are not difficult as long as you study. I would definitely take a class with him again.
Best professor I've had at UGA, and I've been here a long time. Dr. Porinchu cares about his students and the world around him and he is so interesting and funny. The topic is wild, too; paleoclimate is unbelievable and SO interesting. Class isn't difficult, just do the readings and study for the tests. Cannot recommend Dr. Porinchu enough.
His GEOG1111 class has got to be one of the easiest at UGA. He suggests a textbook, but not necessary for success. Attendance is not mandatory or even taken. However, if you answer questions during his interesting lectures, he'll write down your name and you get extra points on the test. Grade is based on 3 EASY tests, and he drops the lowest one.
Such an easy class. Basically all tests can be located on Quizlet, but attending lectures was a great way to interact with the professor and get opportunities for extra credit which goes a long way. Textbook says required but you definitely won't need it. Easy physical science requirement to fulfill -- I'd recommend.
he is amazing! the only homework we had was watching a documentary and writing a summary. he is so funny and a breath of fresh air
Good. Never really went to class. Tests are online and done at home. Nice professor. Went to some lectures because the guy is genuinely cool.
Professor Porinchu is very kind and is clearly passionate about the material he teaches. Attendance isn't required, though he does give extra credit if you answer questions in class. All tests are open note/open internet. Very easy science credit, I highly recommend taking this class.
Very passionate Weird loves the prime minister of Canada for some reason 10/10 would take again
Professor Porinchu is clearly knowledgeable and passionate about what he teaches and his class reflects it. If you attend class regularly, you will get an A as the tests are all open note. If you would like to take an interesting and stress-free class, I would recommend this class. You will also learn interesting things along the way. Great class!
The lectures are boring, but he's a nice and knowledgeable teacher. Every test is online, and you can use your notes, textbook, resources, quizlets, etc. There is no excuse to not get an A unless you're just really bad.
Dr. Porinchu is a stud. Frequently gives out extra credit points for class participation, so going to lectures helps. Content would otherwise be boring but he makes it fun. Don't really need to read the textbook if you take good notes and pay attention in class. No homework, just three tests (drops lowest) and final. Low stress, highly recommend.
3 tests, a final, and the lowest test grade was dropped. The material can be self-taught from powerpoints, but all exams are open note. Great professor.
His lectures are very good, and he makes it worthwhile to go to class with extra credit if you answer a question correctly. However, he posts good notes online, and the exams are online and open notes, so it is fine to miss some classes. Overall, he is a great professor and you should definitely take him if you can.
Easiest class you could take!! Only grades are tests but they are all open note and online so SUPER easy!
Soooo easy. TAKE THIS CLASS. if you really need a physical geography class 100% take this.
4 tests and the lowest is dropped. Very easy. 100% take this class for physical science.
Porinchu is great. There's a total of 4 tests including the final, all online. If you are required to take a physical science course, take this one
I loved Dr. Porinchu. While attendance is not mandatory, I always went to lecture because he always made the content so interesting. If you participate and answer questions in class, you may get extra points on exams. I learned so much in this class. The only grade are exams, but he drops your lowest one.
Only grades for the class are the 3 tests and final, but lowest test gets dropped. He really is a great instructor and gives bonus points for students that answer his questions in class. Attendance isn't mandatory, and powerpoints are posted on ELC. Tests were multiple choice and kind of long so you have to move fast.
This class is an easy A. You don't have to go to class or take notes or read the textbook because he posts the lecture slides online. Also, all the tests are online, open for 24 hours, and super easy. Definitely take this class if you are looking for an easy physical geography credit.
Really easy class and he was very nice and accommodating. Would take again.
Dr. Porinchu was great! You don't have to attend class, but his lectures are pretty entertaining. He also gives extra credit to those who answer questions in class. Class is test based, but they were not horrible if you study. I would definitely recommend him for your physical science credit or just a geography credit.
Take GEOG 1111 with Professor Porinchu. This class made my very busy schedule so much better. The class is a breeze and requires very little effort and Professor Porinchu is a really cool guy and super passionate about what he teaches. No need to get a textbook or go to class everything you need is on ELC. No hw just 4-5 test.
Super easy class. Attendance wasn't mandatory and the tests were very easy and on ELC. Textbook wasn't needed either. Professor Porinchu is a really interesting and funny guy, and he gives out bonus points if you answer questions in lecture. All in all solid class!
Insanely easy class with a laid-back and funny professor. Definitely recommend to easily take care of any credit requirements. Lectures are not mandatory, but if you show up there is a possibility of getting extra credit if the class is nearly empty! Tests are on eLC and no hw is given. Very easy!
Grade completely based off 4 exams, all online and have quizlets for answers. No need to go to class ever. Easiest A. Seems like a nice guy though.
He was so easy, and there were just four tests in the class - all online. He gives a lot of extra credit if you go to class. Attendance was not mandatory, and you don't need the textbook to do well on the test. Would definitely take again.
TAKE THIS CLASS!!! 3 tests and 1 final with literally no other assignments whatsoever. All tests are online and taken at home. Attendance is not mandatory but he encourages it and gives extra credit. You will get an A I promise. take this class.
I absolutely LOVED this professor for my FYOS! If you have the opportunity to take his class I definitely would. Dr.Porinchu is very knowledgable and insightful discussing Climate Change. We watched 10 films, wrote 5 one-page essays, and had weekly class discussions. He gave a lot of his class time to check on his students acclimating to college!
Best professor and class ever! He's so funny and kind. Only 3 exams and a final all taken online and at home with no specific time it has to be taken as long as it's before 11:59pm. No assignments and attendance isn't mandatory, but he does give out extra credit for participation. There is a textbook, but I never opened it and did great on exams.
Attendance is not mandatory but he gives extra credit if barely anyone shows up and for answering questions. Super easy class, it is graded by 3 tests, lowest dropped, plus the final. Everything is online, and it takes up none of your day. Perfect class to take for your physical science. Never actually opened the textbook.
Great professor and a great science to take if needed. I bought the textbook but never used it and made good grades on all the exams.
Dr. Porinchu is a great guy with some really cool research. His FYOS class involves watching a movie every week and writing reflections on a few. Overall, I learned a lot and enjoyed the class.
Super good class to take if you need a science credit! Never had any homework and didn't study for a single test. Super nice professor, and attendance is not mandatory!
Many stop coming once they realize attendance doesn't matter/he posts all slides/tests r online, but participation in class (answering questions he asks) pays off (he'll give you extra points on tests) + he's super knowledgeable, humorous, & clearly explains material. Drops lowest test grade too. Super chill/easy class- def rec for any sci credit!
This class was an easy A. Lectures are not required and no homework is given. There are 3 online tests, one of which is dropped. The final is also online and was pretty straightforward. Dr. Porinchu is also a pretty cool guy. Definitely recommend this class for your physical science credit!
Stopped going to class after the first two weeks. Take him.
Super duper easy class and attendance is not mandatory. He is very funny too!
Professor Porinchu is really funny and passionate about what he teaches. The course is super easy with only 3 online exams and 1 online final. Attendance drops dramatically once people realize it's not mandatory, but go to class if you want extra credit for answering one of his questions.
Only 3 tests + the final but they are all online. Attendance is not mandatory, but you could get extra credit by participating during the lectures. All slides are posted online, so the class was a super easy A. Definitely recommend
Loved Porinchu! He actually tried to get to know all of us which was sweet! Grading was a little iffy as he changed assignment guidelines after several of us had already turned things in. Topic for this course was super interesting, but you will do more work than ppl in other FYOS's. Work is watching documentaries and then writing 1 page reports.
no homework and all the exams were online. he's great at lecturing and i've never met anyone so passionate about what they teach. 10/10 recommend him! take him if you can!
tests online and no homework but you can get extra credit by answering his questions in class. hes super passionate and intresting and a great professor!
TAKE THIS PROF! SOOOO EASY! 4 exams all online take home. Attendance isn't mandatory. Rarely went to class and my lowest exam score was a 98. No homework/quizzes. I promise you won't regret taking this course it is the lowest stress, lowest stake class at this university.
David is the GOAT. I attended about half of his lectures and he's extremely passionate and hilarious. Online exams, review guides, all slides posted, if you somehow fail this class I don't know what to tell you man.
Great professor, attendance isn't necessary, take this guy if you want an A and you want a science credit. Doesn't get much easier than this.
Did not attend a single class. Take this class for the easiest A of your life. Lecture is optional, exams are online. 4 exams. I can't say much about the teacher, but don't forget to take an exam bc im unsure if he'd let you make it up.
Great lecturer and super easy tests. The content was a bit boring, but he found ways to make it engaging for students.
Trust me. Take this professor.
This class was so easy. Attendance is not mandatory and exams are not hard to study for at all. He asks questions in class for extra credit.
take him, i showed up the first day and never again
course was easy but you should go to lectures- he covers LOTS of material, but isn't boring! tests aren't hard, but they're basically your only grades + I got bad grades on the 3 homeworks bcs he doesn't remind you that it's assigned. pretty easy A and attendance is never ever taken.
Dr. Porinchu was very nice, and made sure that we discussed the importance of climate change (our FYOS, maybe different in the future) but keeping talks relatively informal. We watched/read something outside of class every week, then wrote a page about it and discussed it in class the next week. We didn't even have to write for most of them (5/13).
Take this for geog, review PPT for exams
Easiest class at UGA. No attendance or participation. No homework. 3 midterm exams during semester but all online. Exams are 75 questions in 70 minutes. 1 final exam but also online. Final is 120 questions in 120 minutes. Definitely take this class is you need science credit. Easiest A ever.
I would definitely recommend this class for a physical science credit! The class consisted of 3 midterm exams (1 is dropped) and a final exam. Attendance isn't mandatory and Dr. Porinchu's lecture slides are posted on ELC. Most people stopped attending class after the first week. Exams are not hard and based off the lecture slides. An easy A!
I literally never showed up and got an A using the textbook. Easiest physical science credit ever.
Porinchu is awesome. Super funny guy and tries his best to keep the class engaged. Super lecture-heavy and graded only on 4 tests (all online and take-home).
