I think David is a perfect teacher for this course. He has really thorough notes and his tests are pretty easy to get a good mark if you study your notes.

David makes it very clear that if you hand in all your assignments, attend, participate and read, you will do well in the class. He is always available to help or clarify. As a mature student I found David to be a very good teacher leaving the student responsible for their acheivement.

A very good teacher, ive also taken bio 124 and got awesome marks in both classes, he definately has easy tests, is funny, and does give breaks in long classes. great teacher.

Very nice teacher, helpful and he show’s how his class is not all about lectures but to learns biology from different perspective. It’s easy to get a good mark in his class if you do all the easy assignments and labs.

David is wicked! Shy at first, he is funny and helpful-labs 100%, lots of group work. Loves Biology, and loves to get people interested in Biology too! Take any classes with David if you can, a good teacher.

David is an awesome teacher you can tell he really loves biology. Class attendance is mandatory but he makes them fun and interesting. Easy marker!!

I can't believe anyone would complain about david's teaching style, he is an unbeleivable teacher and really goes out of his way for people to do well. As far as the homework assignments go he only grades them on whether or not they get done, and they are mostly just out of interest and not something you need to know.

Hmm, ya sure it was really easy for the most part but still learned a bunch and better still Dave's quiet and monotonous voice was like a metronome...I literally was able to meditate and learn about cephlapods at the same time :D Daves awesome, reminds me of yogi bear

David is so nice that he ends up being a pushover, with his liberal marking this results in a very easy class. If you enjoy a bit of pressure to do well you may end up learning little with good grade (this may or may not appeal to you). Classes were usually watch video/s, group case study, leave early, with almost no lecturing or discussion.

He rocks! He spent so long ensuring the whole class understood genetics... I would take another one of his classes in a second!

If you went to all of his classes you will get a good grade for sure. If you take is early classes be prepared for him trying to crack early morning jokes. he is a good prof for sure, cool teaching techniquies.

I loved Raju :) he was always positive, kind, and ready to help in and out of the classroom. The labs and assignments were easy and fun, and even though his night class was kind of dull, his lame jokes always made everyone laugh. Tests were focused on study guides. David is a great teacher, and I would definitely take another class with him again.

Dave was the best teacher I had at Camosun! If you want to do well and learn a lot take his class. He goes through everything at a pace that everyone can keep up with. All the info you need for tests he hands out. Show up to every class and you can get an A+.

David Raju is THE MAN, such a awsome guy, relates to your problems, always there to help if you need it, and you will get a good mark if u just come to class. i had no intrest to biology and i thought i would hate this class but it was by far my favorite and i reccommend him to EVERYONE, TAKE HIS CLASSES!!!!

Dave is a very nice man and genuinely cares about his students. He is funny about different groups sitting together as he wants us to have "diversity". Definitely attend the labs and make sure you pay attention as his lab exams are very similar to what is in class but lots of information. Easy marks for assignments. take his class

Awesome teacher. He has lots of jokes, is really good at explaining the concepts in a clear and understandable way. Pretty nice to look at, so you have to make sure you're paying attention to the lecture and not him!

I thought David was an amazing teacher! There was alot of material to cover and he made it fun and interesting! I would definitely recommend taking his class

D. Raju is a great teacher for someone interested in learning about biology from a first year perspective. He is very approachable and helpful. I am not a science major but after his class I am interested in taking more biology. Got an A+, and would highly recommend him to anyone.

Hilarious guy! He actually makes biology class interesting and fun! If you've had problems with biology in the past, he's definitely the teacher you want.

I loved his class. It was interesting and useful. I wish he teaches other bio courses. If you go to the class, you will get an A easily. As a bonus, you will make a bunch of good friends at the end of the semester thanks to his effort!

David has a unique teaching style and made class fun. Attendance is everything for him, dont miss any classes and you will get an A. He is a cool teacher and a super nice guy, highly recommend him.

He's an awesome prof, his teaching style is completely different and refreshing. We had a lot of fun in his class and learned something at the same time! You MUST attend classes or you wont get a good grade.

Raju is a really funny well respected teacher! He gets along with his students and i well liked. Super funny and if you show up for class and just at least try and do the work you will get an A+, highly recommend! although you and the rest of your class he may consider a "tough crowd"

Attendance is your way to the easiest A you'll ever get. Tests are worth a low percentage. Never gives homework. You won't need a text book or course pack, he gives you everything you need for this course. Tells corny dad jokes that are adorably horrible.

David is an incredible teacher, really funny and knowledgeable about bio. All assignments were done in class and with a group, same with labs. Tests are open book and hella easy. Bio 102 is an Awesome course for a fun, easy grade, maybe not the best if you are serious about biology as it's not super intense

Raju is really passionate about Biology and his class is an easy A. He never assigns homework, all work is done in class, labs are fun, and exams are open book. He makes a lot of lame jokes, but he's super nice and really cares about his students. Attendance is is most of your grade, so make sure you show up to all or most classes.

His classes consist of working in a group and answering questions from a case study together. I didn't learn much from this class, but his teaching style is unique. If you show up to every class you're pretty much guaranteed an A.

One of the nicest teachers I've ever had. Teaches in a way that is based mostly on participation and effort, which is a nice change among a bunch of other heavy biology courses. Attend class and make an effort and you'll do well.

Raju really wants you to do well, and makes it easy to do so. He really goes for the peers-teaching-peers approach and incorporates a lot of group work through case studies and labs, which is actually really effective if you care about the material. His jokes are eye rollers, but you love him for it. Absolutely take a class with him.

Nice guy, a little odd. Bio 124 was easy, everything is group case studies. No homework but go to class. Classes and labs always finished early. Exams were open book, do the practice exams and you'll ace the midterms. Never actually told us our marks, only got everything back with a stamp on it (meaning full marks). Helpful teacher.

Raju told the class upfront that we wouldn't need a textbook, which was great. Love his never ending puns. Really easy marker and has a completely different way of teaching. Must attend class to pass.

He is a great teacher! I enjoyed taking his class. You learn lots when it involves group projects. No need to be afraid. Don't skip this class, you will miss on so many things that are fun to do.

Absolutely hilarious! Great prof! Everything is done in class so there is barely any homework. Best choice if you want to learn but need a relatively easy class. Extremely easy to get good grades; all you have to do is try.

An amazing professor, he genuinely wants his students to succeed and his course is very low maintenance. He creates a stress-free environment and his tests and exams are very easy to prepare for. Little to no work done outside of class.

The only thing you really will have to do is to show up to each class and do just a bit of reading. He provides all materials, you will not need to buy a textbook and you are allowed to bring notes and practice exam on actual exams. In class assignment 70% and 3 exams all together only 30% (each 10%)

If you do not take this class, you are missing out on a new world of schooling. Grades are meaningless to him because he provides you with the opportunity to learn, both through him and by yourself. His course has set the bar for what a class should be for me, and I hope to see more of it in the future.

Likely the only prof who doesn't believe in standardized tests and actually allows students to learn and not memorize. Sure, you can blow through this class by putting no effort in, but it'd be a shame to do that. Be engaged in class and chat with him, the assignments can be pretty mundane but the case studies are really interesting

David is a kind and passionate prof. No midterms or final. Purely assignment based, which are due at the end of class (one per day). Worst puns in the world but they get to you eventually. You do not learn as much in this class as you would from taking Sarah Cockburn's class, but this will boost your GPA.

Great professor. His method of teaching transferred perfectly over to online classes. It's more of a "learn on your own" class without any real exams, and honestly you truly do learn something in this class. The only class I look forward to every week and enjoy doing. Do your work, you'll succeed.

David Raju is awesome. If you're trying hes here to help 100%. Hes very understanding and seems to want you to do the best you can. I took his bio 124 online, the modules are quite self explanatory and as I said if you have questions hes super helpful. The course is 100% modules so if exams stress you out I would definitely recommend!

Really nice guy, very caring and wants you to succeed. The only way to get less than an A+ is to not do the weekly assignment (which make up 100% of your final grade). No exams, no quizzes, no problems. If you are looking for a grade booster this is the prof for you! Not sure if I learned much though...

You will get automatic A+ if you do the work. Easiest online class I've ever done. So thankful for this teacher when all my other teachers were very difficult and had so much un necessary work. Also he sounds like a hilarious guy.

David is amazing. Although I took this class online, I suspect he is as good in person. I learned so much from that class, and the method of teaching is excellent although it is kinda non-traditional. Yes, it is easy to get an A only IF you don't leave things to the last minute and are ORGANISED!

He is really a great instructor, straight A if you attend the lectures.

This is a class where you can get an A if you submit your homework and show up for labs. Raju doesn't "lecture", he lets you learn on your own.

I had Mr. Raju for BIO 124 and had a wonderful time. Defiantly one of my favourite classes! His lectures are super engaging and informative and his passion for animal biology is clearly shown. My favourite parts of his class were the labs where you got to apply everything you learned to the test. I would defiantly take a class with him again.

This class is assignment based (about 3 a week) and Raju gives you most of the class time to work on them but this can still be hard to manage depending on your workload with other classes. However, there was only one exam worth only 4% of the final grade. Raju is very nice and he provides students with all of the resources needed to succeed

Davids BIO 124 class is a relief amid a heavy academic schedule. If you put the time in to do the assignments you'll get an A+. The final exam was open book and took under 30 minutes to complete. I showed interest in mycology and he went above and beyond to find me resources, teachers and programs to look into in that field. Highly recommend!

Professor Raju was the best teacher I've had so far at Camosun. He does not want to stress students out and cares about their needs. His lab and lectures are super fun and excited me for his class. If you do the lecture assignments and attend labs, I am optimistic you will get an A+.

Won't use d2l for anything but updating grades, he'll use email instead. Allows you to submit work by an earlier deadline and get feedback to fix mistakes (for the lectures). Provided a link to some chapters of an e-text instead of using a text to buy.

Raju is awesome!! if your looking for a easy stress free chill class this is it. oh and Raju loves to talk about literally everything if your looking for a good conversation.

Raju is an amazing instructor, he really cares about his students and the material he is teaching. It is a very straightforward layout, he doesn't have any surprises which led it to be my least stressful course.

Awww love Raju. A genuinely kind person who wants everyone to succeed and not feel any stress. Labs are basically your whole grade so just show up once a week and you'll do fine. They're also interesting so would recommend going! Great class if you don't have to take biology 102 and 103, easy A+.

This has been the most enjoyable and stress-free class yet. It is obvious that David Raju cares a lot about making class enjoyable. This class is an easy A+ as long as you participate.

I really liked this class and David was a good prof! The lectures and labs are basically work sheets and sometimes felt pointless, but they're pretty easy. He's very kind and will help you if you are confused or stuck. The final was online and very easy.

David is very chill and laid back, he's funny and tries to make labs and lectures fun. You gotta have some patience because the material is quite easy but he will go into detail slowly explaining it. Good course to take if you need an easy bio or gpa boost.

You are graded by two assignments and one lab per week (and an exam worth 4%). Do not make the assumption that you will not have to work for your grade: the two assignments take time to complete. However, David does give you time in class to do so and once done, you have no homework over the weekend. David is great - hope you like dad jokes!

If you can use google and treat the assignments as a job you can do well in this course. Raju is very chill and funny prof - he will double check all your assignments if you submit them early so you can get 100%, labs are also completed in class!

David is great. Every aspect of this course is presented in an easy to understand way, and it is very clear that he just wants his students to succeed. He offers time in class to finish the assignments. The case studies/labs/assignments are all super interesting, especially if you're a bio nerd. I wish he taught more bio courses at camosun.

He was a really easy-going guy. Labs were mandatory, but lectures were optional. The lectures are assignments and if difficult, go to the lecture and he will give you the answers. This class is impossible to fail if you put work. And there's basically no homework because the time you spend working on the assignments is the same as the lecture.

Super easy and fun class and no exams. I'm just worried that I won't remember stuff that i learnt.

David is the best teacher I´ve had at Camosun. he will will give you lot of support to understand his assignments. If you hand in all the weekly assignments on time and show up to every lab, you will definitely get an A+. If you are struggled with your GPA, take this class and your life will be better :)

His lectures are easy to follow and if you actually go, he gives the answers to the assignments as he goes over them in lecture. His Lectures are broken down so that if you are stuck you can ask him after he has explained the assignment. My advice is to stay a week ahead in assignments, he gives out the following weeks assignments early!

David structures his class for YOU to succeed. As long as you show up, ask the right questions and do the assignments there is no reason you can't get a good grade. He goes over the answers to assignments and the labs in class, just show up! Easiest A+ I have and ever will receive.

If I could take David's classes again I 100% WOULD!!! Listen to me if you need to take a bio course take it with David. Not only are his classes and labs FUN!! but he's very caring and nice and ACTUALLY CARES about his students success. I love Davids class, TRUST ME take his classes.

David is literally the chillest prof ever! His #1 goal is to share his passion without causing stress to his students. Assignments are given 1.5 weeks in advance, lecture attendance is not mandatory unless you have questions, lab attendance is mandatory. Overall just a fun and stress-free class!

Easiest A+ i have ever gotten. even though attendance is not mandatory, i highly recommend to attend the lectures because he would break down the assignments for you. I liked his concept of how learning biology needs to be stress free. Overall, he is a caring instructor but beware if you don't like hearing dad jokes in almost every lecture and lab
