Dr. Ramsey is a very intellectual teacher, extremely willing to help if you ask, the tests are straightforward and directly from the study guides, sometimes in class he rambles about semi-useless stuff, but just ignore that. I definitely recommend taking his 50% internet Gbbt 234 class.

dr. ramseys class is pretty easy if you study the notes he puts up on the internet. there is one test on english grammar that is hard by nature but all else are straight from his "milestones to the mountaintop." i recommend this teacher.

Good class. We meet only on test days. He gives all the information needed to make a good grade on the test. Just read the info a couple of times and you will do good in the class. Once you get used to him he will not be as bad as you think.

You do have to acctually study to do well. So, if you're looking to do nothing and skate by - forget it. He is acctually a teacher - unlike many of the professors here.

I can't remember the exact class number. Anyway, it was a pretty easy class. I learned a sufficient amount of information for an elective. Overall, the MBA program was a little too easy, I think. I'm studying for the Series 7 exam right now and am actually having a pretty hard time with it. I thought my MBA would sorta make business easy, right? hm

Loved this class and this instructor. Thought he was great. The course was easy, but I did learn a lot and the instructor made it interesting.

Always has an open door policy to assist students. Class was mostly internet so it is good for students with busy work schedules. Dr. Ramsey is very polite and helpful.

Dr. Ramsey is always helpful, fair and gives immediate feedback. I like the way he makes us interact on blackboard by having to respond to each other's comments. It is a great way to make us think and learn from others.

I think he's a good instructor and well informed on many issues. He definitely shares that knowledge. I think our test should be a bit harder and I think he should grade forum's harder. Particularly, on how well we argue our position. I just didn't feel that some individuals didn't argue their points at all. A very good instructor overall.

I enjoyed taking professor Ramsey's course. Although it was an online course, I think I got a pretty good idea of the type of professor he is. Sometimes his sarcastic sense of humor is not fully understood, but you think that it's more because of your lack of knowledge than his poor comic abilities.

Dr.Ramsey is a very nice professor. He knows how to encourage his students and help them out as well. He is patient. He corrected my essay and spent almost 2 hours to explain it to me. I appreciate it a lot. I am deeply impressived by taking one of his courses.

Prof. Ramsey attempts to inspire students to think critically and opens up plenty of classroom discussion. I think this may have been his first attempt at net-based MGMT 681, and it was admirable, though there were a few problems. I expect with a little time he'll get all the bugs ironed out.

The 50/50 class is very easy. Memorize milestones, they are the test. Very helpful in reminding you when things are due, as long as you use Bb.

He is a confusing. He wont "flat out tell you anything," he is trying to make it sound harder than it really is. I have had to email him a few times to get him to explain. I wish he would just say exactly what we need to do without all the fancy words. It is a pretty easy class. Study hard for the 1st and 3rd tests they are the harder tests.

This class and teacher were very EASY. He posted study guides on blackboard that were basically the test questions. Make sure you go to class otherwise you will miss the test; that's all we did each class was take tests. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this teacher!

Professor Ramsey is a very interesting and unique individual with a mildly eccentric way of teaching. I was most pleased when he helped me with a difficult problem that arose. He is a firm believer in a mutual respect that should be present between teacher and student. I'm attaining a foundation in grammar for the first time since high school.

Dr. Ramsey is a kind man who, even though has a tendency to ramble at times, he knows his content pretty well. He's one of very few professors who gives you 100 points for attendance at the end of the semester if you don't miss any class sessions. Exams came directly from the study guides and powerpoints. I was scared at first, because he covers so much information each class. I have been getting good grades on tests, but I go to each class and STAY the whole time and study the "milestones" or study guide. He is a great professor because rather than just teaching you what you need to know, he also has great stories & elaborates on difficult info.

Very nice man who really wants students to succeed. He has a method to his madness. Study the milestones and pay attention and you will do well in the class. Just beware, there are far too many stories (rabbit trails) unrelated to the class material which waste time (although they do provide SOME useful info.) and the military lingo is annoying.

At first I thought this class was a joke...but I have applied almost everything to my current job now. I find myself paying attention to the details of my letters and all. I really enjoyed taking this class and would encourage every student to do it.

Can be somewhat odd and veer of topic with side stories but other than that I would recommend him because he can be funny at times and the things I learned in the class will stick with me for the rest of my career (Student or Out in the field). Definately must attend class, but if you do it is fairly easy.

I enjoyed Mr. Ramsey very much, he is funny and has a good sense of humor which is great because sometimes the material can be very boring. The class is not hard as long as you study the notes he hands out. Sometimes he has jokes that don't work out too well ,but sometimes they are spot on!

This is a really good and easy teacher. All you have to do is show up to class every day and do all the things that he assigns and you should make an A. If you cant make an A then that means you did not do anything at all. The notes that he gives is exactly like the test, so the tests are really easy.

Good teacher knows the subject very well. He could shorten the class a bit. He will keep you the entire 2 and a half hours in a night class. Not many people can stay with that the entire time after working all day.

I like him! He is different but he really loves teaching and cares about his students. The material he teaches is useful for the business world. Great guy. Anyone who says negative things about him is clearly immature. Study the milestones and you will do great. He does keep you the whole class time but that's because he lets us out early to work on a project at the end of the year and a no class day if you don't have anything to make up.

DONT forget to work on the forums he gives you as an assignment on blackboard, there is also one group project for this class. Its a pretty boring, but easy class.

He is a different type of teacher, that often says unusual things and sometimes inappropriate. That said, he at least is trying to make the class interesting and not miserable. He is not the most clear on instructions for what he wants on assignments but if you try and pay attention to blackboard you should do good.

If you are a student that can not think outside of the box, then this class may be a little over the top. With all of the lectures there is a lesson from the world experience that is shared by this professor with the class. In business communication we are learning not just text book situations, but what oddities can and will occur in real life.

He is Mind-blowing. I agree that he says lots of stories but they all are contextual and very funny. He prepares you for the real world.I am currently taking his class and wish to take him again.

This class was very easy to follow and understand what is required. The book was barely used, but the teacher was very helpful and entertaining!

Your directions are given at the beggining of the semester AKA syllabus. Follow it and prepare with the materiaals provided and you will be fine. The lectures may seem "off" topic, but not really given the real world value. Attendance is not mandatory but WILL be part of your grade. Great Professor and communicator.

I don't understand why people complain about his story's. Face it this is a boring class, and having taken it at another school before I can appreciate how he teaches it. Sure he is a little off beat, but he cracks me up. An easy A, but at the same time you learn real world concepts, in a way that's least boring.

Very quirky but sometimes funny. His voice puts you to sleep... I am not joking. But overall he is very fair on the tests he basically gives you the questions in your notes. So if you study your notes you will pass for sure! Go to class simply bc he takes roll.

Mr. Ramsey is very nice and tries to keep the class alive with jokes. Milestones is verbatim on what you need to know for the tests. Also, he interacts with the class when using examples or jokes. Nothing embarassing but keeps you from falling asleep like other classes. Also, he respects his students, which is very hard to find in a professor.

My job deals with the things that are being taught in this class. While some people think it's boring, he does an excellent job of getting his milestones across. He has a ton of knowledge in many different areas. By far one of the easiest most informative professors I have had.

Really nice person--little kooky sometimes, but in a good way. He is an intelligent person and has a keen fondness for his cat, grandaughter, and dumb blond jokes. The informatin taught in the class is straightforward and overall practical advice. I would have gotten my husband to take his class if he were not retiring this year. I wish him well.

Great guy, a classic gentleman. Subject matter was not interesting, the professor metaphorically relating it to the climbing of a mountain. His tests were fair, easy grade if you study, attendance is not mandatory, but some class sessions are funny and enlightening.

We had to do 2 forums which I didn't like because part of it you have to criticize another class mates post and of course, they yours. Over all I enjoyed the class and would take again.
