This class consists of 5 T/F quizzes where you also need to turn in 5 of your own T/F questions, 2 five-page essays, a mid-term, and a final. He is fun and all, I just wish he was more organized. We never got any of our essays back. The class is over and I have no idea what my grade is. Unless something is scantron graded, you probably won't see it

I liked him but he has an almost erratic teaching style. He often digresses into discussion with a single student during class. Sometimes for like 15 minutes. He had little control over the class which was a letdown because its difficult to learn this stuff when people are chatting it up all around you.He is worth taking but know he is a scatterbrain

His lectures where long and boring i found myself falling asleep a lot. You never get your papers back. total of two papers and 5 true false quizes and then 5 true false sets you need to make up. A midterm which includes two inclass essays and t/f questions same for the final... I got a B but it was pure luck.

I took three of Prof Ring's classes & he is one of my favorite teachers on campus. Philosophy is my major & he has helped me out so much & spends extra time out of his schedule to make sure concepts are clear. He is very intelligent & cares a lot about his students. Make sure you do the required reading & come to him if you have questions

A great teacher. His lectures are invigorating and passionate. He sometimes goes off on a tangent with students, and it is amusing, however the "conversation" is strictly philosophy. I am NOT a philosophy major, but this is a wonderful and easy ( if you pay attention ) class. Just read quia and answer False on all the tests+quizzes.

Dr. Ring is awesome. I'm always excited for his class. He is very energetic and incredibly funny. If you show up to class and really pay attention and understand then you will do well. It's not just memorizing the material you have to understand it in detail. Overall he his class is awesome and you will lean allot.

I struggled a lot in this class but made appointments to go over questions with Ring, studied like crazy, reread the course material and turned my F into a B.

Dr. Ring's logic class is one of those classes where you yourself must put in hard work to earn a grade you like. He allows you to retake the first two tests. Do well on this to solidify your grade. He can be unclear at times during lecture, but just talk to him in person he's more than willing to help. I put in hard work and came out with an A

David's a great man, he's always enthusiastic and cares for his students. However, I felt duped attending this class, he told us he hadn't taught similar course material in 5 years and it showed. 80% of his lectures were gratuitous and banal ramblings on the littlest things which showed no relevance on any of the material. Unprepared, sloppy course.

Dr. Ring is AMAZING! One of the smartest professors at OCC, cares about his students and is very passionate about his field. But NOT an easy class- He really pushes you. Requires lots of reading, 2 papers, quizzez, multiple choice test, written exams-however, if you stick with it, you actually learn so much and become a better student as a result!

He knows his class might be boring but he still teaches and gives his students outside details as much as possible. He loves debating, that's why after every test he always debates.
