Pretty good prof. Tries to make the class a little more interesting. It's easy if you pay attention in class.
i had this professor during my FM year, he is awesome...smart and funny, exams are alright, you definitely need to pay attention to do well. also, READ THE BOOK!
Good Professor. He gives you a review sheet before exams. Exams are good as long as you study and pay attention in class. Makes learning more interesting. Dept Final was pretty hard however.
Talks to the class, not at the class
very nice, not boring and look like george clooney
not bad. makes jokes. tests are ok with the review sheets. George Cloony?yeah a little.haha
pretty good professor, and fun to listen to tests are okay but u have to pay attention in class and do a little reading
He's quite the funny professor. He explains everything well. He has good review sheets, gives free law advice, and overall is very nice.
A good law teacher who covers the topics well. Also the only teacher I've ever had who can make funny jokes while constantley maintaining a monotone voice, something like that is so rare it boarders on being a talent.
1st of all, let me get this clear-he doesnt look like George Clooney. Overall, I think hes a pretty good professor who can be pretty funny at times. I would recommend him.
Prof. Rosenberg is one funny guy..His test are not that hard and the final is from the dept..Overall, cool guy..I recommend him..
Great Professor.Always being funny and making classes entertaining; he even spoke Spanish in class once!Need to pay attention on what he says though, if you want to do well on tests. Nice guy definitely recommended.
he is so cute ....He looks like a 3 year old kid in a 40 year old body. Prepare for exams and you'll have no problem. I learned alot.
Very Very Helpful. The material can be confusing if you learn on your own, but he is GREAT at explaining. His review sheets are great also. Tons of examples to make sure you understand. His exams do give you a good idea of what's expected on the final.
He's mad funny! Yet he is able to teach every topic with such clarity in each class. I think he's sexy! Take him. You'll learn alot plus have fun.
This guy is awsome soo chilled u know hes rich and does it cause he likes it. makes law interesting and funny...though that was impossible?
he is a gift to you. best professor ever. just pay attention in class and u ll be fine
This guy rocks! Funny and not hard at all. Teaches whats important and does it so that you understand. No homework, just reading that nobody even did. Everything is based on class notes & examples done in class. TAKE HIM FOR LAW!!! Awesome professor.
Class mdtrms r fairly easy. I felt that he doesn't really prepare u 4 the department final tho. The last few subjects we just quickly went thru since there was no more time left 2 the semester. I got a C in the class and I studied.
Now he gives multiple choice exams,I dont like this format for a law class as it seems most answers can fit and you can't argue.I did ok on the exam but it was not easy.he is funny and knows his stuff, alil boring at times when he reads out of the book but take him. Good Grader!
great professor. He is a bit boring at times but its all worth it. He knows his stuff and he only teaches the stuff thats important and that will be on the test. Very straight to the point, no BS.
this guy is the man! material is easy. tests from the notes and rather easy. take him that's an easy A
Great teach, interesting material. Pretty funny guy and brings up often real life examples of the material in his class. Highly recommended.
Excellent professor. But the final was hard!!!
he is very funny and interesting.once in my life i started to like and understand law. he is great,mid-term is eaasy,, but final was very hard though(it's deparment)
yeah ok the final was hard but it had nothing to do with his ability to teach which he is really good at. His exam was easy. I got a B
class was really easy, midterms were easy, but once the final came around I was in trouble. After the final, I realized he wasnt that great of a professor if I found the final that hard. He went through the 1st few ch's so fast that we barely had time 4 the last few, which was a big part of final.
He's pretty great, funny and makes the class interesting. Just as anything else study for the midterms and final. It's kind of dumb to say this, but he says "Uh" way too much, to the point where it's kind of distracting
Every Lawyer says "uh" because they were taught to think before they said something. Go to any law firm. Otherwise, you cant ask for a better professor,
He is a great professor. Easy midterm and did a good review for the final, study what he reviews and you will be fine. Good and funny professor who still got everything done that we need to know for the midterm and final. Take him.
He rocks he knows his stuff and explains it clearly. If you wanna learn about law take him.The exams are a little tricky but if you prepare you should get an A. Lookout for the final though, it was tough.
Best professor I had in Baruch so far. Really funny, made class a pleasure. Made me love law. He's easy, but not too easy. His tests challange you, but if you know what you're doing you'll get a good grade. Despite the "uhs", I understood everything he taught. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
not so easy anymore. I was surprised at the difficulty of the exams, he knows his stuff and is funny. Grades fairly.
Easy class, easy A. Don't keep your expectation too high though. Teachingwise, he's not that great.
He's a great professor, he makes the class very interesting with his jokes. Law is hard, but he explains it pretty well with his jokes and examples. Very good professor.
his class was very pleasant after a tireding day.he has a good sense of humor and midterm was soo easy. u dont even need to read the book, just pay attention in the class. take his class, you wont regret it. and btw, he is da only good looking professor we have in Baruch!
You'll get use to the "uhh" sounds after awhile and you'll end up loving the class. Very good Professor.
one of sa best professors we have in BAruch. great personality, good sense of humor. fun class! midtermsand a final, both of them were so easy. if you pay attention in class then you wont really have to study.
Easy class. Alright professor, not that knowledgeable about his stuff, but definetely fun. A relaxing, laid back class, that's good to complement the semester when you have very tough classes.
nice professor, i learn alot from his class, and he is really funny, make laws easy to take.
total David Cassidy/Hugh Grant look-alike (that alone should help u pay attention, girls), really funny, nice, tests aren't that hard, very relaxed environment, just be sure not to make any "biased" jokes, he's real big on being p.c.
Professor Rosenberg is great! Just two midterms and a final. The midterms are very fair. He does a super job explaining the concepts and coming up with examples. The class is laid-back, which helps. Read the book, and do the problems, you will be fine. Highly recommended!
he's good. he might not know all the answers to your problems. he's funny. Explanations are good. you could learn law easily with him no hwk required . if you listen to him you will do well
Professor Rosenberg is definitely worth your time. He explains law concpets with clarity and breaks them down so that everyone can understand. The class is laid-back which is a plus. The two midterms were more than fair and he prepared us very well for the department final. I got an A. Highly recommended!
explains concepts wif simple, sometimes funny, examples...reasonable exams wif review sheets before hand. recommanded
He probably looked a lot like Alan Ruck when he was younger (the guy who plays Cameron Frye in the movie Ferris Buellers day off). Very good professor, take his class and enjoy.
He is so funny and so simple. Students can relate to him easily because he still looks and acts like a teenager at times. The exams are made by him and so he skips over a ton of stuff that other classes go over in the book. Yet, students of his still know more than others when it comes to exam time. Classes are enjoyable and you get to learn.
You feel you have been taught less, but you know much more than your friends who are taking other professors. Pay attention to his class and stick with his test guideline, you will be fine.
He is ok professor I would not say the best, I think there are better professors. You have to read the book and do the problems even that he does not collect them. I didn't like that we had only midterm and final.
He was a very good professor. He makes the best out of a hard class. The only reason why it is hard is because there is 1 midterm that is 50% of your grade and then the final, which is cumulative is the other 50%. But he does his best to make sure that you understand the material and can do well on the test.
Great Professor, he is not an easy A but an A is not impossible. His teaching style helps u to remember the material after the class is finish. U won't regret taking this Professor if u put in a little effort to study.
Loved him! TAKE HIM! I didn't know what to expect from law class but he made it fun and interesting. Gives very helpful outlines before the 2 midterms and 1 final. I got a B+ only studying and reviewing one day before tests and paying attention in class (only 1/2 the time though). TAKE HIM if you can!
He is one of the best professors out there. He jokes around in class a lot to lighten the mood, and he is EXTREMELY helpful if you have questions or want to talk about your grades. Participation is important to him, and your grade may get raised if you are active in class.
looks good. funny guy. but talks so fast that international student sometimes can't catch all what he explained....
Loved him. Take him. Great professor. Know the material very well. Nice. Helpful. YOU cant go wrong. The only thing is that he likes Liverpool the soccer team which I hate. Go MANCHESTER UNITED
Loved this Professor. He makes the difficult class interesting and clear even for international students. He is very smart, very helpful, very handsome.
Hilarious, intelligent, and equitable to all of his students. He is stringent with the attendance, and there are two exams which encapsulate your final grade. His class is a joy to be in, however, he is very unhelpful in one-o-one situations. He seems perturbed when you ask him questions after class and fails to elaborate and clarify certain ambigu
love him :) one of the best teachers .. class is pretty interesting.he knows how to teach. before an exam, he tells us what to study.
He definitely does make class interesting. All the girls love him. If you show in the class you've been studying, he will appreciate and you'll see it on the grades.

He is a really good professor. Very clear in his lectures and keeps it interesting with his jokes and funny personality.
Funny, intelligent and patient professor. He takes his time to go over material, and answers all your questions in a clear manner. Do the HW he assigns, the quizzes will have very similar questions. There are 2 quizzes for 25% each and a dept. final that counts for 50% of your final grade. Attend his lectures!
You will have two exams. He puts more efforts to explain for the first exam than for the second exam. I think it is a way to give less A and Bs at the end of the semester.
He's good but he devoted more time to prepare the student on the first exam. Second exam was not difficult but because he puts more efforts on the second part, I did poor and end up with a bad grade.
My only complaint was that he went too slow in the last two weeks of classes, and he had to cram two chapters of material in a couple of classes. Overall, class is VERY easy. Both midterm and final were very straightforward and based 100% on his homework problems. Basically, if you do the homework, it's an easy A.

Wow!! Besides this professor being super hot, he is also very intelligent and one of the few professors at Baruch that actually replies to e-mails. This course ALMOST made me want to attend law school!!!!!
he is really really nice...2 midterms each 25% and the departmental final worth 50% also boosts your grade up a little if you participate...he is very understanding if you talk to him and answers all questions.. the examples he gives and goes over in class is important and similar ones show up on tests..definitely worth taking!
Ease: 6/10 Helpful: 7 Fun of Class: 5 Funniness: 7 Attendance: Taken Work Amount: We had a 4-essay take home "midterm", a decent amount of work thruout the semester. Not too much, manageable. A: Gotta work lil Text: Need, cheap tho Overall: Rosenbergs a cool, funny guy. Most of got Bs instead of As tho, which was way unexpected. Class isnt too bad
I thought this class would be an easy A at first, but it's not. He's very picky when it comes to the terminology. Test questions are very similar to homework questions. Yet, he still manages to take off points if you answer them in the same manner. Do not bother reading the book. If it's important, he'll write the topic on the board.
He's the man. We talk a lot in the class and we often get out of topic. You'll do work in his class.
He is an awesome professor, very funny and talks a lot. His outline is very helpful for the exams, follow it exactly and you will do fine.
Cool guy, not as easy as other raters say he is.
This professor will be there to explain the things you have problems understanding. As long as you do the required from you work (which is very reasonable) you will do just fine. His tests are based on what he teaches in class and he provides an outline of all the material to be included so there will be no surprises. 1Midterm and departmental Fina
He is not as easy as he seems. Messed up on the finals and ended up with a c+...yes mad.
if you sit in the front, pay attention, and take notes you will get an A. Didn't read the textbook at all, but the hw problems he assigned were helpful for the tests. 2 midterms and 1 final. Got an A
Amazing. Just pay attention in class easy A.Every topic he discussed were amazing and you understand everything he says. Gr8 professor... love him
Boss. Best law professor in Baruch.
Just an average professor. Class is easy, but he is a big fan of the B+..
Take him! Great professor!!! He teaches the topics that will be on the final. Gives you an outline prior to the midterms and a final. Gives crystal clear examples so you will understand the material. Very good looking and has a sense of humor
idk why everyone is fiending over him, he was an good professor but keep your pants on. In class explanation is so damn clear. textbook use was high. If you have question ask in class cause hes rdy to bounce faster then you when the bell rings. Test is "hard" you can have short answers but must go over key words. A is earned not hard to get though
He's a good professor he gives lots of examples and is really laid back so laid back that people get taken by surprise when they get their midterms you just have to know the key terms he goes over in class and he even gives you an outline for all the midterms so there aren't any surprises.
I had taken Prof. Rosenberg's class over four years ago, and I have to say, he's absolutely one of the best I have had. I wish Baruch had more professors like him!!
Enjoyed his class even though I got a terrible grade. He knows what he teaches. Doing H.W isn't required, but I suggest you to do every assignment because most exam questions are from H.W. Seriously, do your H.W; otherwise, you won't get a good grade. He is a bit tough grader, so you better be prepared for exams.
He's one of those chill professors. That doesn't mean the class is easy however. Expect lots of textbook readings. His lectures are clear and easy to follow, but the course itself might not be easy for some individuals (lots of concepts to memorize and understand). If you are looking to satisfy your reqs for Law, take him.
TAKE!! BEST PROFESSOR!!!! EASY A!!!!
Don't buy connect, he doesn't require it and it's a waste of money because the practice problems don't go into detail enough. For my year he didn't use connect; not so sure about the policy's now but ask him the first day of class. Take good notes because his tests are all based on his notes. The final is departmental and it's harder.
He already hates you. No, I'm just kidding. He's really funny and an overall good teacher. His class was one of my favorites in my college career so far. There are review sheets for the tests. If you expand on the review sheet and study that you'll get an A.
He kept the class interesting by telling stories. He educates us on other aspects of life, not just law. He also speaks a little bit of spanish, french & german. 2 midterms, 1 final, and he takes attendance. If you just pay attention in class & do the reading assignments, you will get a good grade in this class. Funny guy... I lol'd a lot in class!
Be careful with this professor. The workload is overwhelming, and the pop quizzes were difficult. This really dropped my grade.
Best professor I've had so far at Baruch. Keeps the class engaged always with his jokes and humor. No work load, HW is optional to help you with the topics. 2 midterms and a final. Overall, great professor, you have to take him.
Professor Rosenberg is an amazing professor. He's a huge character, and extremely funny. He kept the class engaged, and everyone had a fun time. I highly recommend taking him. He doesn't check if you did the homework, and he gives review sheets for the exams. Overall, such a great guy and if you work hard an A is totally achievable.
David Rosenberg is very knowledgeable about the subject he teaches. He's a lawyer himself and does whatever he can to make the topic interesting. Two midterms and a final. His stories really help you understand the material. He also gives out practice questions that are very similar to the test questions. Textbook helps but isnt required.
Professor Rosenberg was the best teacher one can ask for in an IDC class. Great discussions and insight in class. One individual essay and two group essays. There was also one take home "midterm" which was basically one easy essay about what we discussed in class. Take him
Best Law Professor in this school by far. Clearly explained every topic and made sure everybody understood and asked questions if they didn't. Tests were application of knowledge learned in class, A class all around.
This guy is easily one of if not the best Law professor at Baruch. Homework is optional and he usually doesn't take attendance most of the time. His tests are graded fairly and he gives lots of partial credit if you make a convincing argument. Easy A.
Amazing professor. Has a lot of jokes and interesting facts. As long as you pay attention you'll pass the class, without even looking at the textbook. Definitely take this class!
Great Teacher! Just remember to stay on top of the readings and always participate in class. Redo the worksheets with the exact answers he wants so you get the best grade and to prepare for the final. Also he gives out outlines before each test so helpful!!! Read and Study those! Lastly he makes law very engaging and fun to learn.
Probably the best professor I've had. Lectures are not boring b/c he fills them with corny jokes that will make you laugh. You dont have to read the textbook b/c if you go to class and take notes you'll do well. He gives a great study outline before his tests that will ensure you do well if you study it.
Very clear lectures. Tests are all essay based, but he is very generous with points. He tells you to read the book but believe me you don't have to. Just pay attention in class. No hw assignments. Overall enjoyable and intelligent
Great professor. He gives an outline to study from for his exams and they are all you need to know to do well. Doesn't always take attendance. Takes forever to grade exams though.
His lectures were engaging and he made the material really easy to understand. Try to attend all of the classes and make sure you understand all of his practice questions. Take him!
Best professor at Baruch. 2 midterms and a final. If you do better on the second midterm, he weighs that grade more than the other (and same with the final). He's honestly very caring and easy going guy, you can honestly ask him anything without feeling dumb. Id take him again
You will do well as long as you pay attention during class and read the textbook. Teaches at a very slow pace and always falling behind schedule. Found it very difficult to concentrate but still did well. Very boring.
GREAT TEACHER! Absolutely enjoyed coming to this class. He gives study guides for the 2 midterms and final and they really do help out! He's very responsive to questions and for help! Great teacher! 10/10 should take him at Baruch
Wondering who wrote all of the 5 reviews. This guy is arrogant. The pace of his class is slow and boring.
The BEST law professor. He makes everything easy to understand and fills the lectures with jokes. Only downside is that there are 2 midterms and a final, so you need to do extremely well in the tests to get a good grade. He gives detailed review sheets and responds quick to emails. As long as you take good notes, you should get a good grade.
He explains law concepts with examples. There is little work to do outside of class (besides reading the textbook) as long as you actually pay attention and follow along in lectures. The study guides he gives are actually helpful for exams. If you fill it out, the tests are easy. He likes when students participate and actively pays attention.
Professor Rosenberg is a really knowledgable professor. I really enjoyed taking this course with him. He's taught this class many times so he knows what he's talking about. Be prepared to do a good amount of reading and assignments. Overall, you'll really learn something from his class and if you follow everything, you'll get a good grade.
Amazing professor! Review sheets literally tell you everything you need to do to get a good grade.
Way too much reading and too many projects. We had some good discussions about current/historical trends in NYC and I did learn a lot, but I felt it was more work than it needed to be. In the end, he's an understanding person and not a harsh grader. I would have liked it better if he had us read some relevant articles rather than entire novels.
I think people gassed him up too much because the class was lowkey boring (or maybe the students were boring idk). There were a few papers, blog posts, and projects (powerpoints, etc). He assigned a lot of readings from a couple books and would base class discussions on those. We never had an actual exam. I never did a single reading but i got an A
I loved him, he's a nice guy. Your grade is basically two midterms and the final. He explains things good. He gives homework but doesn't grade it, the questions are very similar to the exams he gives so do the hw. He also give extra credit but you can only earn up to 5pts the entire semester. He's a solid choice, makes a lot of dad jokes too lol.
Professor Rosenberg is one of the best professors I've taken at Baruch. Lectures are easy to follow along, exams are fair, and his class doesn't require an enormous amount of work outside of hours. His study guides and homework (which aren't required) will set you up for success in exams. Honestly sparked my interest in business law.
Every chapter of the textbook is covered thoroughly in his powerpoints and lectures. The examples he makes up are fun and he always entertains the class's "what if" questions. Use precise legal language based on the textbook's wording and his, otherwise you will be docked points on exams. Overall, great introduction to business law. 10/10 professor
He is AMAZING. You literally don't have to read anything if you attend every class and take detailed notes. We were supposed to have 2writing assignments, but ended up only having 1 due to time constraints. He weighted the finalterm at 90% of our grade, but if you participated he BOOSTED your grade. He's so corny that it's funny. Take him!!!
He answers all questions you have and always available when you email him. He genuinely cares about his students. He gives hw (not mandatory) that helps with future exams or writing assignments (PAY ATTENTION TO THESE HWs). He provides an outline for each exam. He is literally setting his students up for success. You will not regret taking him!!!
Amazing professor, ended up only doing one writing assignment a (written) midterm and final. Class participation isnt mandatory and counts as a boost. He assigns reading but if you pay close attention in class you can get away with not doing it. He doesnt use mindtap and his lectures are very interesting. He makes topics applicable to situations.
Very nice and knowledgeable. Graded by a few essays/projects. Lots of work for them, but he is an easy grader. Gives good feedback. A LOT of reading.
He is a great man. He knows how to explain law in a good way, I learned a lot from him. He had 1 writing assignment (usually there's 2), 1 midterm, 1 final. He grades a bit tough but just make sure you write everything about the law in context. Participation helps, he bumped me from a B+ to an A because I participated and wanted to learn.
Pro. Rosenberg is one of the greatest professors that I have met in Baruch. His lecture is funny and easy to learn. Although he requires you to read the textbook in advance of the lectures, you can skip it if you pay close attention to his points and examples in class. Only one writing assignment and one written midterm and one final.
Get ready to read. He's a good professor, but there's so much reading. As for the projects some were fun but the timing between them wasn't good. Overall, the class was fine.
Great prof
I don't know how I got an A-. I participated a lot in the class, but I think he didn't like my final project. He is extremely boring, like it actually doesn't get more boring. You don't have to read any of the books, maybe a summary. You can pretend you did and talk and he'll somehow say something more boring. Also he graded 0 assignments.
I liked his class a lot. Everything was interesting to discuss. He really values class participation. Also, we were supposed to have 2 writing assignments, but 1 was dropped. Idk what happened. It's a lot of reading before class. Tests require a lot of paying attention and notes to do well in.
Great professor, easy going, makes jokes. Graded by writing assignments, midterm and final. There are textbooks to read and questions to answer for hw but it's not required to hand in. Overall would def take this prof again.
Overall Professor Rosenberg is a amazing professor. Although the class material is difficult to understand and requires a lot of reading, the professor explains the course material in a way that is easy to understand. Additionally, the professor is very lenient in grading and is very accessible outside of the class. If you can, take him.
Professor Rosenberg is beyond one of the professors here at Baruch. He explains concepts in a very clear way, he gives examples of rules that we are taught. He clears up any questions we have from class. I genuinely loved his class. 5/5 Professor!
Professor Rosenberg's class was so easy. Only a few written assignments and 2 midterms. I barely studied and still managed to get an A-. Anyone can do well in his class, you just need to put in a little effort.
Engaging lectures, fair grading, and clear explanations make this course a great choice. Using Unstuck AI alongside the textbook helped me stay on top of the material. Definitely take this class if you can.
One of the better professors I had during the semester. Knowledgable and makes sure you understand the topic. Patient and kind, humor here and there too. Writing assignments are basically give me points and his exams were really fair. I dont ever have to take a law class again but if I did, I would def try to get him again.
Boring. Boring. Boring.
I appreciated his humor while ensuring he was professional and on task. He is participation heavy but everyone was willing to do so. He goes over content deeply with lots of examples, which helped when we had the in-person final. The final was easy to prepare for with the cheat sheet, though struggled with the midterm online. Lectures are posted.
