Dr. Shepard is a great professor who makes his class very interesting. he explains clearly and he cares about his students. you will love this class

Mr. Shepard is an extremely cool instructor. He is very understanding and helpful. He explains things in a way that it sticks in your head. His teaching methods are excellent, (films, participation, class discussions, etc. ) There are not enough good things, I can say about Mr. Shepard.

Mr. Shepard is an incredibley awesome prof! If you have a chance to be in any of his classes, TAKE HIM! every class was fun and interesting. He finds cool films to show in class that are entertaining. He is extremely helpful if you have ANY questions or concerns. Go to class, take great notes, and you will get an A! :)

dont buy the book.. super easy.. dont miss a class cuz his test are on the class discutions and videos.. take decent notes and youll be fine.. A+ garunteed

this professor is very easy just never be absent because all he teach in class will be onthe exams take good notes and expect an A+ there is not reason to fail his class.

He's Cool instructor. I liked his class alot! BUT!! Its up to you if you wanna do your work and pass. He gives all of the things you need to know. Just write them down and study. Tests are multiple choice and are very simple!

This class was a breeze. Just copy all the notes on the board and take notes on the videos. That is what will be stressed on the test. You will never use the textbook. He uses your attendance as a grade so don't be absent. He is such a great professor and is passionate of what he speaks. I enjoyed his class to the fullest.

Great professor, he knows what he is talking about. Take good notes, attend class everyday, call or email if you are absent and he will excuse your abscence, it should be a breeze. Intresting class and his teaching makes you understand complicated subjects.

what is on the tests is what he goes over in class so i highly recommend not to be late or miss any of his classes. TAKE GOOD NOTES!!!

His lectures make the class very interesting. I learned a lot from him. You definitely want to take this class with Shepard! Just make sure to take note of everything and you should do fine on the exams. He even taught us the diff between a pension plan and a 401K. Really informative and fun professor!

Awsome teacher. Test are the notes...EVERYTHING talked about in class is on the exams. Alot a videos which are also on the exams. Attend class and you are fine. + he gives CURVE POINTS ON THE EXAM!!! 20 or 10 extra points...Very easy and you do learn alot..makes everything FUN...GREAT CLASS

Really easy. Go to class and take notes and you will definitely pass. He reviews in detail the day before the exam anyway. Definitely a class to look forward to attending.

Very easy teacher. I wish he was a little more strict since I felt that a lot of students were disrespectful by always showing up very late. Maybe it all showed in the exams, since all three were about the videos and stuff he talked about in class. So maybe those people that were always absent and late failed. Just go to class, its fun!

Professor Shepard has been by far my favorite professor, I enjoyed his class so much, I took him for Lifespan & Adolescent Psyc. He is very funny, and also very helpful in class. I would recommend him for any Psychology course, he really is a wonderful professor, I received A's in both courses, just take good notes & pay attention in class!

Great prof; He's very passionate about psychology and doesn't just go by the book but teaches info applicable to real life. Loved his lectures; lots of short videos. No routine assignments but attendance is for a grade. 3 Exams (including final) on a curve. Extra credit available if you need it. You don't need the textbook if you take good notes.

Very interesting class and very easy too. He is very simple and makes the class very interesting with visuals (videos and pictures). He doesn't use the book only at times to study for exams. Just take notes and study and you'll be good.

This was an easy class. You don't really need the book, all the exams are based on his lectures, so just show up, pay attention, and take notes and you will pass. I got a B and that's cause I never studied for an exam, if you study you will get an A. No class assignments just lectures and videos. Interesting subject too.

Took him for 3 different classes and got A's in all 3. His class is real simple and attendance is mandatory also because his tests are directly from his lectures and videos. He's an awesome professor, probably my favorite one at STC, and he knows exactly what he's talking about.

Professor Shepard developed an interest in Psychology I never knew I had until I took his General Psychology & Lifespan courses. His lectures aren't straight from a textbook, in fact you won't need the book much at all. His lectures are interesting enough on their own. I'm now a Psychology major because of him. Highly recommend!

This teacher was cool and he very interesting as well. Just take good notes and study study STUDY for the his test. He only gives out 3 test through out the semester. The only negative thing I can say is that he should use blackboard to keep things on track on dates , urgent messages, and test grades besides that he's awesome i recommend him.

Easy A as long as you take good notes and pay attention in class. Took him for Summer II, there was only 3 exams which come from the lectures so taking good notes is crucial. Attendance is a must! (You get an A as a grade just for attending everyday). Very interesting professor not your typical boring class. Take him, trust me you won't regret it!

Prof Sheppard is actually pretty funny, he is also a rather easy teacher. He also curves the grades a bit. One thing I must mention is that the course itself is hard, but if you try to focus on the information he gives, it will be an easy class and you will have a fun time watching the videos he shows. (A lot of them)

By far the best professor I've had so far! His class is all based on notes, so whatever notes you take in class is your study guide for his exams. There's only three exams in the whole semester. Class is easy if you actually pay attention to his lectures. He doesn't require the book! Exams are based on what he talks about in class not the book.

I took his class and liked it, as a psych major I would've loved for him to be more involved or gives us more homework, but since I was taking other classes, I guess being an easy class worked. Mr. Shepard is a great instructor. HIs memory is excellent, lectures are long but is exactly what is on the tests. Dr Shepard is an expert in his field for sure. he is such a good teacher. He plays a lot of videos so you have to come to class but he explains everything so well and writes notes on the board too. He is also very encouraging and makes you want to learn. he is one of my favorite professors!

You only have three exams (which are pretty eady if you bother to listen in class and study) and it's unusual for homework to be handed out. It was a pleasure taking Mr. Shepard's class. He only gives exams. No quizzes, no homework, or no final exam. PLUS he reviews everything the day before each exam, so you know most of what will be on it. He is very straight forward and clear about instructions. Lots of videos that make learning interesting.
