I have taken 2 classes with him and loved them both. He is a wonderful man, and will do anything to help his students. Sweetest guy you'll ever meet. 20 question quizes are easy if you study. No midterm or final. You have to do 2 papers but they are sooo easy. HIS CLASSES ARE A MUST TAKE!

Great class. Is good about both genders, though not completely clear on women - but he is a man. Very matter of fact about the subject which helped with discussion. Did not provide accurate information about abortion pill vs. morning after pill. There may be some pro-life influence there. Not sure.

Pro. Skinner is a good teacher but in order to succeed in his class you HAVE to read your chapters and do your studyguides. He gives almost a test a week, which sucks, but he really is a good teacher to take. He is just serious about what he teaches. One good thing is you can ask him anything and he will not be shocked. Best professor for psy of human sexuality.Class is always interesting and he is very open to sharing your own personal experiences. There's test for every chapter but it is easy and 2 very short papers. He also lets you make up tests and not take them if you did not study. Loved this class!

skinner is a great teacher. Test almost every week but the study guide pretty much prepares you for it. Review before class. Even allows you to retake classes at the end of the semester. I highly reccomend.

Prof. Skinner is an extremely knowledgable teacher of psychology. This is not my major and I loved every class. He is very easy to talk to for help or anything you may need. I would take any other class with him if he's available. Definitely recommend to anyone. Be sure to do the work!

This teacher is the best, but to pass you need to do a liitle bit of studying at home. He gives a review though and every thing on it is on the test. He is very patient and will explain terms and theorys in "human" language.Really cool guy, I recomend you take his class.

This professor is by far one of Valencias finest. For freshmen, this is the perfect class to take for an adult education. If you are going to take PSY, this is the guy you want teaching it. Thank you Dr Skinner. You set the bar for college prof's everywhere.

My favorite professor thus far. I had him for a 3 hour time block and DIDNT fall asleep! Interesting and funny, he makes the material relatable. Read the chapter and there is no doubt you will ace the test. I'm taking him again this semester and would call anyone crazy who took anyone else for psychology.

This professor is incredible. He is really funny and super nice. He cares about each student individually and takes time to make sure everyone is understanding the content. His tests are tricky if you don't pay attention or study; he provides a study guide for each test. No final or midterm, no surprises, just awesome.

I just finished his class with an A, make sure you pay attention, take notes, extra credit for attendance,prepare for test by the review sheet and taking the concept test and factual test in webCT.

Professor Skinner is cool and can speak of human sexuality comfortably and with a great sense of humor. HOWEVER, the test multiple questions are very TRICKYYY!! you HAVE to read the book; notes and study guides he posts on webCT. It's mandatory to study but if you miss a test he'll let you re-take any at the end of the semester which is leniant.

Wow, Skinner is still teaching! I had him for Intro Psych in 1972 and he was fabulous. Glad to to see that his current students are still getting the benefit of his expertise.

Skinner offers an easy outline of requirements but you definitely must study the chapters to get your A. I have a borderline B/A right now and it involves 4-5 hrs before taking his 40 ptquizzes, so not grueling. As long as you come to class, have interest in depression/schizophrenia/anxiety/ADHD/substance-abuse/perversions, anyone will do okay

You really learn a LOT of interesting stuff in his class. The stuff you learn in Psych you can actually APPLY to everyday life. He was a great speaker. I never had to ask him for help, but I think he would have helped if needed. You def use the text book, but only 4-5 hours of studying a week was needed for his weekly 20 question tests. TAKE HIM!

I love this professor!!! I have taken two classes with him and they have both been VERY enjoyable. He is my favorite professor at Valencia and I really enjoy how he makes the class a place for discussion. There are tests after every chapter, or every couple of chapters, but they are easy if you have been in class. I haven't needed the books.

I had prof. skinner my freshman year of college. He is so helpful! Received an A on every test. He gives you a test at the end of every chapter; also gives you a study guide for each chapter test. Professor Skinner is a great! He is serious but loves participation. He is very respectful and helpful. No essay's or research papers. ALL tests about one every third lecture. As long as you listen to his lectures take some notes and read the chapters you should do well. when taking his test you must know the material and how to apply it.
