If you go to class every day, listen to his lectures and take notes, and read the material, then this class should be pretty easy considering that there are extra credit that can be accumulated from. You can skip the final with a grade of 90% or higher.

Had in spring '99: A powerhouse! Goes "above & beyond" to make classes interesting, fun & informative. Just show up (on time) & do the work to get a B, little more effort for an A. Helpful out of class & a great advisor, too.

Online class, communicated via email he with detailed prompt replies. I think this class is an easy A if you read the text. Tests are multiple choice. No additional purchases were required of Wall street journal or Mikes Bikes (buy new text w/CD included.)

Had him summer of 2001. Good teacher, however not very involved with his students, so there's not a whole lot of margin for error if you're the type of student who tends to miss class.

dont take class if you want lots of extra fees, knows his stuff, likes to discuess we life events relative to the class, i recommend him. just put forth effort and you will get an A. A before final means no FINAL which was great

Overall I enjoyed Stinger's class and his style of teaching. He tells some useful stories and wants everyone to do well.

Very intresting class, uses alot of business terms and relates it to the real world. Easy A with the exception of the fees for the stuff needed for his class. But GREAT class!

Very funny and amusing. The only thing I didn't like was how on some questions on the tests, he'd get all wordy and try to confuse you. And you'll need 25 bucks for MikesBikes. And he might make you subscribe to the Wallstreet Journal.

Great Teacher! If given the chance I'll take him again for some other classes. Although you get around 7-8 pop quizzes (which he tells you ahead sometimes), 3 midterms, and a 1 final (which you don't have to take IF you get a 90% before the final). He tries to get the class to participate and he talks about everyday life for examples.

Stringer was probably one of my favorite teachers. His class is cake as long as you listen in class and skim through the book before tests/quizzes. If you get an A before the final you don't have to take the final. Extra credit oppurunities too! I ended up with a 94% before the final. Take him because you learn a LOT and he is fun and funny!

online is basically read 2Chpt & take a quiz(25min), midterm & final. read all the way through book. detailed questions to make sure you read on quizes, but gives you PLENTY of time to find the answers if you forgot. one paper - if turn in early get E.C. not hard class, just time consuming

Professor Stringer is a wonderful teacher. He's very good lecturer and he has great personality. Though his midterms are super tricky sometimes, but as long as you listen in class and read the chapters before midterm, you'll be guranteed an A. there are a lot of EC opportunities and no Final if you got an A before Final. YOU WONT REGRET TAKING HIM!

Professor Stringer is the best professor I think I've ever had. He is so nice and funny and he actually cares about what his students are learning. He seems to know everything there is to know about business, well, that explains him being a business teacher. The things he teaches you aren't just for class, but they will help you in life as well.

Sweet teacher, very understanding. Very knowledgable, and he is sometimes hard to understand (flys off the handle), but I enjoyed the class. There are blended days where u don't go to class, so that was nice, and if you get an A going into the final, you don't have to take it! The perfect teacher for Bus 10 - you can learn much and earn A. To get A: attend class, ask friends for online quizzes to get full mark, study a bit before mid-term. No Final =] many points come from participation in class and a "game" he created. Moreover, you truly learn! He is a very GREAT business person who inspires you a whole LOT! FRIENDLY!

I took BUS 10 through online and it is very easy to pass. You have 4 discussion questions, 3 mid terms, and 1 final, and Extra credit points 10. Be prepared to have lot of time to read the book, you cannot pass the test without reading the book. He gives study guide and send reminders about the upcoming schedule...overall highly recommended:)

Take his class online. Read the book, then take the online tests. If you don't know an answer, just look it up! You want to read be4hand cuz you cant look everything up, but for the harder questions it makes things easier. Doesn't get much simpler than that. Generally very responsive and emails you about upcoming deadlines.

I took his online course and he was pretty absent the entire quarter. It was very self-study, basically you read the whole textbook and take tests. It would have been nice to have class discussions about the readings. He also changed assignments from the syllabus in the middle of the quarter with very little warning. He is meticulous about being on time and about regular attendance. Tests were multiple choice and overall pretty easy. All quizzes (except for in-class pop quizzes) are online. A clicker is required for this class. If you have an A on the last day of class, you don't have to take the final. Lots of extra credit.

His quiezzes and exams are very hard. He is very responsive and answer you right away.

mr stinger was the best. class was two days a week and for some reason he always had a dentist appointment after class. So we got out early and he cancelled class every other week for the online quiz's. didnt even need to take the final!

His class is really easy. Just study for the midterms and do well on them. If you have an A going into the final you don't have to take it. Attendance is mandatory so go to class and bring your clickers! It's a laid back class just don't be rude to him.

Easy class. Good amount of extra credit. Have to attend classes for pop quizzes. Tests are okay if you study for them. Tries to be humorous but doesn't work most of the time.

A cool, honest, and hard working teacher. Stringer will make class worth your time. Everyone in my class passed except for one person, who cheated on a test. Also, he do not like people using cell phones. So, don't take the chance or bring candy for the class.

He was great. I took Principles of Mktg online for Winter 2009. Really simple class, make sure you read the book and you will get an A. He gives you a very non-specific study guide with terms and general ideas to study, if you do some work on the study guide you will get a good grade. The class consisted of 3 tests, a quiz, and a paper. Great guy!

Wonderful teacher! His classes will never be bored, as he is good at telling jokes! All you have to do is study the summary of the chapters; you will probably get an A for every Mid-Terms and quizs (all of them are MC)! You don't have to take the final if you get an A! BUS 10 Online Class. Very helpful with assignment feedback and puts out the extra time to create a study guide for each exam. Not all professors do this BTW. It really helped a lot. The assignments were very useful and it really got me to think critically about business situations. Overall great teacher. Great class with extra credit.

Super easy, discussion questions are simple and based on your opinion. Do the extra credit, 3 tests one final. Don't need the book but it helps on the tests. easy A and Mr. Stringer is super easy to talk to.

Interesting course and assignments, good feedback, no tests except for midterms, final, and one quiz in the first week. Gives you 2.5 days to do each exam. Fair, gives extra credit opportunities well in advance (do them!!!). Some of the assignments are from the book so you will need a copy of it. Totally recommend!
