He is very nice and he wants his students to pass his class, he gives you many opprotunities to get a passing grade in his class. He is very funny and he does not mind having discussions on different topics that are adressed in the book. His lectures are not dry you will actually laugh a little. If you can sit through his class without being to distracted by how sexy this man is you will learn a lot from him. He is good and knows his stuff. You will be given many chances to get an A in this class he wants his students to pass and gives you every opportunity to do so. Warning he is sexy so make sure you can stay focused.

Having Mr Terry as a teacher in my first semester ever in US was such an amazing experience.I mean he gives you more than you can umagine to get a passing grade in his class and is very concern about his students.If you just take advantage of the extra credits you will not even have to take the final.He is an easy A.

mr terry is the homie. this aj class was so easy. i passed it with flying colors you only take 4 tests including the final and he drops the lowest grade. he is also down to earth and not boring at all. also u can relate to what he is saying. he can also crack jokes and have other discussions.

EASY EASY EASY! Only work is four test all semester and he gives you EXACTLY what's going to be on them a week beforehand. He's interesting, you'll learn a lot, and pass really easily most likely with an A. He's really personable and will help you with anything. Just don't show up late if you don't want to be made fun of :) He's really cool.

Come to class!!!!! He gives assignments almost every class period and does not allow you to make up ANYTHING. Unless it was a serious emergency. He also collects homework on those days and will not let you turn it in if you weren't there, so make a friend. Overall a good instructor.

His sociology 1a class is super easy, u just need to read the book, and be in class everyday, the test are so freaking easy cuz he actually gives you a study guide that has all the questions that are going to be on the test, lots of extra credit also it is impossible not to get an A in this class oh did I mention he's super hot and funny?

Great teacher! He spoke clearly and even emailed us all the notes that we needed to understand the chapters more clearly. Oh and he was super HOT for being like 40. In addition he had a little side-kick assistant dude and he was cute too. I suggest that everyone take this class, either for your AA or to just learn. <3

Easy A! Inpossible for anyone to fail his class. Mr. Terry emails the chapter notes and the study guides. There are 4 exams, lowest grade gets dropped. If you get an A on three of the exams you don't have to attend the class the last 2 weeks. Study guides are the actual test questions. Gives plenty of extra credits and hardly any hmwk.Great teacher

This teacher is the far most the best teacher that i had for this semester for both Hist30a/b classes, just remember a few guidelines before u walk in to his never chew gum and textmessage on your phone cuz he will embarrass u infront of the whole class but other than that he is the easiest teacher to take classes with and i really thank Mr. Terry.

Best Teacher for most of my administrative of justice classes. As long as you do your study guide and study it, the test shouldn't be a problem because the test is in the same order as the study so just remember the answer..

Just make sure you go to class cause he will have assignments.Read the book and he will give you the questions to the exam so study and you'll pass for sure.

If you want an easy A this is the class to take. He sends you the notes to each chapter and a study guide for each chapter that is exactly the exam. They are always multiple choice so if you study the guide and memorize it, then you will have no problem getting an A. He is funny and knows his stuff, but it is incredibly easy.

Probations was an interesting class. Hated the text book - very confusing to read. Lectures were really helpful. Take Mr. Terry for AJ Classes.

This class is extremely easy!!I only attended class a total of 7 times this semester. And this class met 3 days/wk. He sends you the study guides to your email which are the actual test. Mr.Terry is such a great teacher. I've had him for AJ54 and Socio 1A. He e-mails you all of the notes and gives you study guides for every chapter. Mr. Terry is a nice guy and knows a good amount of what he's talking about, but he presents his information horribly. He reads paragraphs off a word document and spends all class reading it really slowly. There is very little structure. He emails you the tests before you take them though. A very easy A if you take notes.

Mr. Terry only gives out 4 exams which he will take the best of 3. There about 7 classwork/homework that he will give out but they are only worth two points. You do not have to do them if you are confident that you will get more than 90% on your exam. He will give out study guides which are the exact questions on his exam, use google if stuck.

Took him for my first semester class and was a really easy class. Easy A, all you have to do is complete his test outlines; his real tests are exactly the same as his outlines, so do them! Straight forward, answers questions, no essays, sometimes have to write half paper assignments.

I would always look forward to his class , he's really funny and keeps you interested . Easy A if you complete the study guides, because he test is the exact same thing .He does random in class assignments and would hardly assign homework. So handsome btw & tall & muscular lol

I always had an interest in history, but DT inspired me to study it deeper and not go into politics, but rather teaching. He is an amazing person and always there to inspire. His class was both educational and totally doable. Study the study guide and youll do great!

Best Teacher ever. He gives clear study guides for his classes. The work is pretty easy, yet you learn so much from the class. He holds a chill environment that allows you to feel relaxed enabling your to soak in all that knowledge. For someone like me that doesn't have time for a lot of homework and reading, this class was really easy. He cares about his students passing so he gives so many chances for extra credit. If I could give Professor Terry a 10 star I would, he brought in so many people to our classes, people who are somebody in life, people who some of us want to be. He brought in people for us, to help us and to bring in as many resources as possible. He is so funny and translates into ways we all can understand. He really just wants us to succeed.

This was by far the best class I've taken at Delta. I've recently switched my major to Sociology and he confirmed that I made the right decision. He teaches in a way that makes you very interested and grasp the concepts easily. DO THE STUDY GUIDES. They are literally an exact copy of the exams. Overall, he is an amazing, caring professor!

I took Terry over the summer for AJ and he is one of the best professors at Delta! He lets you take breaks, gives many extra credit opportunities, and gives you study guides that have the actual questions on the test, so do the study guides! He is super funny and genuinely cares about his students, he wants you to succeed! Also, he is VERY handsome

Great professor I really recommend you to take this class if your majoring into law enforcement he gives you a bunch of connections to where and who you can go to.

He is super chill and funny!! Very easy class and the exam you did most poorly on, the throws it out! Very outgoing and a very great professor! Only bad thing is that hes a Raiders fan! ... go Broncos!!

Terrys class isnt too difficult. He gives out a lot of extra credit opportunities and has guest speakers come in often. His tests are exactly like the study guides

Hands down the best Professor at Delta College. I have taken him for AJ classes, too. He cares about all his students, wants all of us to succeed, brings guest speakers to class. If you fail his classes that is only because you're not putting your part as a student because he provides study guides for all the exams. Take him, you won't regret it.

I think hes one of the best professors out there. He wants all of his students to pass. The lecture/notes he shows the class he sends to everyone. Dont know what to study for? No worries! He sends our study guides to help you for the exams! Plus he gives extra credit out and its easy to do! Highly recommend taking his class!!!

Easy class and Professor Terry is very Hilarious. The tests are the exact copy of the study guide he gives in class which makes them super easy to pass. He also gives a lot of extra credit just in case you missed a homework assignment or didn't do too well on a test. Overall the class was a breeze. I would def recommend.

Cool professor and an easy class. The study guides he gives us are identical to the tests. But he should start really using Canvas and not emailing us the assignments and study guides.

He is an amazing and hilarious professor. His study guides are IDENTICAL to the exams SO USE THEM. He gives little HW assignments and those count as attendance. He also gives you several extra credit opportunities.

I took David Terrys A J 51, A J 55 and Socio1A classes Fall 2020 via online course and it was VERY convenient for me. He posted the assignments and gave us a couple of days to complete. No zoom meetings, yay! His tests and HW are straight from the book, he provides study guides, use them. Lots of extra credit opportunities to get grade up.

Professor Terry was a very chill teacher, the class was very laid back and was easy to get full credit on the assignments. The only reason i gave a 4/5 is because the syllabus did not match with when he posted assignments and assignments were only posted for two days so i ended up having a lot of missing assignments. SO PAY ATTENTION TO POST NOTIFS

David Terry is awesome! His grading system is kind of weird, but he provides enough extra credit for anyone to pass. As long as you do your homework and take notes, you should pass with no problem.

My favorite professor ever. He sends out so many opportunities for literally everything. Internships, workshops hosted by Delta College, along with other classes of his and what to expect. Hella extra credit opportunities! His online lectures are not even long and they really help you understand real life scenarios of sociology.

This class is very easy but informational. Professor Terry sends a lot of opportunities and resources that can help you personally. The textbook can be found online so no need to pay for one. Homework is also from the textbook. If you're looking for an easy class, this is it.

He's an awesome teacher. Gives plenty of time to do the textbook readings in his modules and his tests are basically the study guides. Weekly assignments don't take too much time to complete. He drops the lowest score on one of the four exams, and students who aced the first three don't have to do the fourth one since they already have an A.

professor terry is such a great professor he is very straightforward on what we have to get done in order to pass his class. His class is very interesting and we even got the chance to visit a prison and got extra credit for it. Professor terry gives out so much information to new students. I would 100% recommend him Just dont be late to class lol

This class was very easy. Only bad things are assignments are due at 9am. Other than that assignments are usually work 4 points and very short. Just make sure to check instructions to make sure you're doing it right because if not you get a zero.

Coursework is manageable. Offers plenty of extra credit. Overall easy class.

His intro to soc was def an easy A. I wish he could teach every course I need for my degree.

Professor Terry was great. The class was very easy. Read and complete the assignments and you should be fine. I did well in my first 3 exams so I did not have to take the final. He provides plenty of extra credit. I do not see why anyone would not finish with an A.

Check your Canvas daily. States that he puts the assignments up Mon(due Wed), Wed(due Fri), Fri(due Mon), but he didn't always post on the stated days. Offers a ton of extra credit. Make sure that you follow his instructions on assignments to a t, if you don't, you will not receive ANY credit for your work.

He's very passionate about what he teaches and he is very considerate when it comes to grading. His lectures are very interesting and he caters to everybody. TAKE HIS COURSE YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!

A lot of extra credit opportunities and minimal homework. Maximum two textbook pages to read and answer or one exam per week. I ended up with so much extra credit I could skip the final and the last few assignments for the class. They are four exams and one final. You can skip the final if you're above 360 points and grading is out of 400 points.

Dr. Terry is a really chill professor. He's super funny during lectures. He assigns a lot of little assignments with a small time window to turn them in so make sure you check Canvas daily. He also assigns a lot of extra credit opportunities so take advantage of that. But your overall grade is mostly based on the 4 exams. Awesome overall!

Prof is so funny, attendance is mandatory (I've gotten candy and donuts on multiple occasions, so I'd show up if I were you). 4 tests, last one is optional if you scored high enough on the first three. Tests aren't hard at all.

bro is super chill. that's pretty much it, since all you really gotta do is read a few paragraphs in the textbooks and answer like... 3-2 questions with a 5-7 sentence limit. and they're extremely interesting reads, like it gets you thinking about the behavior you see all around you. i love this teaching style, simple yet thought-provoking.

Literally the best and the chillest professor out there. Offers a BUNCH of extra credit opportunities so it's hard to fail his class. He's caring, funny and offers opportunities for his students such as possible jobs, etc. The work is easy: only requires a certain word amount and he provides pdf of the textbook. Genuinely cares about his students!

He makes the lectures super fun. He has a funny personality and talks to most of his students. I liked how he adds his own personal experiences to the lectures, I learned a lot about his perspective and about what we're learning about. I would get a bit sad when he would cancel class lol. Will always be a inspiration to my goals throughout school.
