Very easygoing instructor. Challenging class, but he is willing to help you on anything you might not have picked up in class....Also plays a review jeopardy game for tests that is fun.

Great teacher! It sounds like he got a lot of tips from a good high school teacher that I had back in North Brunswick NJ. I would take a class with him again.

If you studied it wasn't that hard. The freakin quewtions were given on blackboard, just memorize them. Class was fun with lots of examples. I'd take another class from Instructor Dave.

Instructor Dave is among the VERY BEST professors you will find at this or any other college. He's smart and funny and very cool. You will work in his class, but that's the whole point of college, isn't it? We're lucky to have him and I would take another class with him any time.

The freak below me has issues but Dr. Dave is a great professor. He's very nice and helpful and he makes class fun. He's not the typical tweed-wearing professor and he's young so it's pretty easy to relate to him. I'd definitely recommend taking his class!

Tom was an extremely nice, helpful guy. Very lenient about when you turn in your papers, as long as he gets it by the end of the day, you will get credit. He uses PowerPoint presentation, funny videos to teach, and you can send your papers through e-mail if you cannot print something out. Make sure to study all his PowerPoints and read the book.

He's a good teacher and his notes are really clear, he just goes off topic a lot in his class. but he does a good job of finding things to help us relate to the topic [as said before, daily show clips, etc.]

he was great i loved him! deffinately my favorite from the quarter. down to earth and could connect with his students.

instructer dave was awesome. one of the best teachers ive had. he made everything fun. he could def. be at a different college teaching bt hes awsome to ahve here. he was funny and got us to learn wthout making it boring. would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Dave was great! Class was not only interesting but fun and amusing also. Would take another of his classes if I had the chance. Definently try to take one his if you get an oportunity. He is fair in grading and gives you every chance to succeed.

Makes class fun and interesting, and is very clear on what to study for tests. Attendance isn't mandatory, but at least half of what is covered comes from class lecture alone. Good paper assignments that really make you think. One of my favorites of all 5 quarters so far at CSCC.

He's an awesome teacher. He makes class something to look forward to. If you're taking psychology make sure you get him! D-Tom makes the class so much more interesting than a normal psych class would be. Just make sure you take his class seriously, he really deserves that kind of respect.

His test can be hard, but if you study you should doi well.

Amazing.

Great speaker and informed teacher. Uses common culture and popular forms of media, such as youtube videos, to make his teaching interesting and applicable. Great sense of humor. Very fair. It's better and more fun to participate. He notices you, and values you more when you do.

Tests are pretty hard, but he gives extra credit and he also curves grades.

He's a really good teacher. Most professors are boring and I sleep in their class, but he kept me wide awake. It's a real nice class!

The best proffessor at CSCC. I took 2 classes from him. Extremely knowledgable about psy. Help you see everyday psy around you. Uses media and etc for examples. Funny side to him too. Listen well and you will learn, not just for a test but for life too.

Dr. Tom is an extraordinary professor, if you show up and put effort into his class you will learn the material. Dr. Tom is funny, exciting and all round great professor. I would defiantly recommend taking his abnormal Psychology class.

I took PSY 100 with Dr. Tom. Prior to the class I didn't have much interest in psychology but it ended up being my favorite class I have taken so far. Dr. Tom always makes class fun and makes you want to be there. I would absolutely love to have him again! TAKE THIS CLASS!!!

Dr. Tom is the best professor I have had so far. You really get the sense that he loves the subject and has a genuine interest in all things regarding human behavior. His expansive knowledge of the subject and comprehensive teaching style sufficed to take his expertice to an artform. Any Psych major wishing to be inspired should take his classes.

Honestly one of the best classes I have taken! Not only does Dr. Tom know his stuff, but you can really tell he enjoys teaching. He made every class interesting and as long as you pay attention and study the notes he gives you will get an A. I had little interest in Psych prior, but would Definitely recommend taking his class!

Dr Tom is def one of my favorite professors. he made all of the material really clear and his notes weren't boring or incomprehensible. i also call him "dr. youtube" because he really values today's culture in his connection to psych. makes his teachings interesting AND relevant!

Dr. Tom is a wicked good Professor. He's funny and keeps class interesting. He clearly gives students every opportunity to do well in his class... if you do poorly, it's your own fault. If you dislike attending classes, you will come close to failing his tests. However, if you do attend class, you will get to see **** monkeys! Classic!

Dr. Tom is the nicest person you will ever meet! His classes are not an easy A but his instructions are clear, presentations are relevant to what is needed for the tests, and his homework utilizes the book so you don't feel like you just wasted money on a book. Classes are fun to attend, he lets you talk and participate. HIGHLY recommend!

Dr. Tom is amazing! I walk into class everytime excited to learn! he makes the material so much more interesting and gives sooo many helpful tools and resources. The class is by no means easy, but if you do what is required and take good notes, you'll be fine. Dr. Tom is an amazing professor. I reccomend him to everyone!

I had him online for Psy 100. He seemed pretty good but he is taking FOREVERRRR to grade the paper that I wrote in the MIDDLE of the quarter...it is now halfway through finals week...

If you are taking psych for the first time make sure you schedule a class with him because he is a great professor who knows how to joke around and teach you something as well. Homeworks, exams and a book report are most important in his class.

Dr.Tom is great. He is funny. His class is based off a lot of youtube videos, well my class was. His exams were okay, if you study you will be fine. I barely passed my exams but did great on the final project which is easy. I came out with a B. I would take any class he offers.

I loved Dr. Tom's class. It was a lot of fun. I actually took the class awhile ago and I was looking for other classes that he teaches. His class was not difficult, and he actually made it fun. Just do the work and you will do great. The exam was a little difficult but well worth the class.

This guy is very nice, likes to make jokes, will answer all your questions the best he can, and he likes to use current events (present-10 years ago) when he teaches. He has shown us many web pages that have articles tied into our lessons, and we even watching videos on Youtube or clips from movies, if they involve what the lesson is teaching.

Trust me you will fall in love with his class once you attend. Dr. Tom is one of the most helpful, Kind, and Carrying Professor you will ever come across. I felt smarter every time I left his class. DON'T MISS OUT ON THIS ONCE IN A LIFETIME OPPORTUNITY.

Professor Tom is AMAZING, can not say one bad thing about him. He is down to earth and makes class FUN to attend. He's not a snooty professor, he's like one of the students. He's honest, fair and very helpful. Would take his class again if I could, def take his class... A+

Really enjoyed Mr. Tom's class. Very funny and down to earth. Tries to make sure that you understand the material. Does his lectures on power point and has a packet of the notes for you to follow along with. Theres homework but its not too hard. Really enjoyed his class. He made it fun and entertaining. Take him for PSY! You wont reget it!

Dr. Tom is a great teacher. I have him first thing in the morning at 8 and he always finds ways to wake us up. he is very funny and makes the class fun.

Dr. Tom is amazing guy. I have him at 8AM and he always has a way to get us motivated. The tests are straight forward and out of the 3 he will drop the lowest score. Uses a lot of video to get the point across and explains things easily enough to understand. I hope to get him for Abnormal Psych as well.

Dr. Tom is one of the most amazing professors I have ever had! His class solidified my pursuit of a psychology major. If nothing else his class will be very interesting and manageable. He uses videos from the internet to provide students with a real-world example of psychology in our day and age. And use the study guides he gives!

Dr. Tom is not only an awesome professor but an awesome person in general (he truly cares). Before taking his class I literally failed this course twice (NO LIE). But not only did I pass with a B+ this past Summer term, but enjoyed taking the class. He relates to the subject through today's media. (CON)He does take too long to return assignments.

David tom is a great instructor. The only thing I didn't enjoy about his class was that it was a general class and therefore pulled in a bunch of tards that often took class discussion off subject.

Attendance is a MUST if you want know what he's teaching in class. His lectures are fun, I promise you'll laugh and learn something.

Dr. Tom was an excellent teacher. I wasn't a huge fan of the course material, but he actually made it fun and interesting. Great at giving real life examples that relate to the course. He gives you guided notes to go along with his lectures, but showing up for class is important. Tests weren't tough if you studied a little. I would recommend him!!

Dr. Tom was a great professor. He is the head of the Psychology department, so obviously he cares a lot! He is suuuuper funny. I personally dislike Psychology a lot, but I really enjoyed this class. I would recommend him to anyone!

Dr Tom is a great professor. He makes the lectures relatable and interesting with personal stories/expierence, as well as videos (lots of YouTube). He gives study guides for each exam, so you know what you're going to be tested on. Dr. Tom worked with me on some of my project deadlines. We did not use our textbooks in class, only on online quizzes.

Dr. Tom is a good choice for Intro to Psychology. He made the class so much fun with interesting lectures: using videos and good relative life examples. I really enjoyed this class and wish I could have him again as a teacher.

I actually failed this class without being aware until months after, and Dr. Tom was so, so nice and understanding. He was kind enough to round it up to a D when I had a 59%. I took his online class and he remembered my name (even though we barely spoke). He's a great professor, kind and understanding when life comes. Love this guy!

Dr. Tom is a great professor and although his jokes were often corny and dry, thats what made him funny and enjoyable. I would recommend this class to a friend because honestly as long as you do the weekly online quizzes and pay attention to the lectures and participate in class, you will pass with flying colors.

Dr. Tom was very accommodating when I had to leave town during a midterm. He came in every day with a smile, and always made us laugh. It was easy to learn and remember the things he taught us. He is one of my favorite teachers of all time.
