Hugely helpful, knowledgable, kind & cool. Helps students write well rather than killing them with meaningless assignments.

Very unique teacher and class. It was almost like a high school class but harder. If you readand do papers-you will do fine in the class.

Great teacher! Allows you to re-hand in papers if you're not happy with the grade you got. He is easy to talk to if you have questions about how to edit something or whatever. Very laid back style. It felt like high school. Highly recommend Mr. Tower!

Mr. Tower is a GREAT teacher. He's really funny and loves what he does. The class work isn't too difficult and he's very helpful if you need it. Take him if you need english credits!

Very good teacher who made learning interesting. I enjoyed the short stories he had us read and the group debates were fun. The most fun of the semester was the presentations in the end ! He allows you to be very creative.....Highly recommend.

Mr. Tower is absolutly the best. I did have to rewrite alot of my papers, but he was always there to help. I love the fact that he swears in class, it made me feel as though he was treating us like true college students and adults. I hope to take more classes from him.

took as a summer class, weird teacher but if you work a little at your papers and show him your trying you'll get in the A range.

The class is fun. The teacher is a bit of a whacko, but in a cute way. His class is fun and he grades fair. I recommend that you take his class.

FANTASTIC teacher. Extremely intelligent. He will push you to become a better writer, no matter where you are at starting the class. Very approachable, and will help you in any way possible. Highly recommended!

This guy has helped me out soooo much. I've improved my writing. I've had him for both english 101 and 102. He is very helpful, and understands you completely.

Bounce Bounce ball! Easiest class I have ever taken. I am probably a more recent person to have had him, so I think things have changed! I think the longest paper we have to write is like 5 pages! He helps you so much. He really cares that you understand.Easy to talk to. Make sure u read the assigned pages, he gives short EASY quizzes on it.

He is one of the best teacher I have had since attending college. He is very helpful, and caring. He very interested in your ability of learning and when ever you need help he's there.

You need to show up to class, complete the papers on time, and you will do very well in this class. He can rabbit trail sometimes but overall, very nice guy!

Great guy. Not the most exciting, but my writing definitely improved from his class. I liked him so much I took a second class with him. Very easy to talk to and kind. As long as you write his papers, his class is easy and not stressful.

easy teacher, wrote only 4 papers all semester, and the last was our exam. he gives "quizzes" worth 10 points, if you didnt read no big deal, thats how easy they are. kinda boring in class, but suggest taking, easy class

He is such a sweetheart, seriously the nicest prof I have ever had. His class is not easy though, lots of reading and quizzes. But I don't regret taking his class, he is just so sweet!

Awful prof to attend class with but definitely an easy A. In terms of learning about analytical reading and writing, this prof belongs in grade school teaching 5th graders. His methods are very elementary and he treated us likewise. Unfortunately a req'd course, EASY A but boring, choose another prof.

Mr. Tower missed or canceled at least a 1/3 of our classes. When we where in class we played a lot of games that were suppose to be educational but tended to get off topic quickly... I learned very little and thought this class was a waste of money, but if you are looking for an easy teacher English teacher, Mr. Tower could be your guy.

Prof. Tower is AMAZING! Class is not difficult, he has interesting interpretations of the readings but encourages you to disagree with them and does not judge you on your opinion. No exams. 1 paper. and you can use all notes on your tests which you can either take online or in class, your choice. Would DEFINITELY take him in any class he teaches!!!

I liked Prof Tower enough to take several other classes he offers. Some previous comments were correct, he will miss a couple days, his quizzes are kinda easy, and he can be somewhat ambiguous with his requirements. However, he is a GREAT guy and makes class fun. He encourages thought and discussion. I'd highly recommend him.

Good Teacher we actually use the book and he is pretty clear on what he wants from your papers. If you need help he is willing to stay after class or schedule a meeting with you. We had about 5 papers and maybe a few test on readings from the book.

Mr. Tower is a nice guy who wants to know his students. He didn't always seem prepared for class, but the readings were interesting and the assignments helped me become a better writer. DO YOUR HOMEWORK! Reading quizzes are difficult to pass if you have not read the material! If you do your work and can write a paper, this is not a hard class.

Prof Tower is a really nice guy. He has an odd sense of humor but I always found it to be entertaining. I took the hybrid class and you NEED to do all of the online assignments. Thats how I got behind. He can be a tough grader with papers but he writes a lot of helpful things. I would defiantly take another one of his classes.

Personally I thought the class was very dull. Thank God it was half online. It was easy if you put the time to make a quality paper. He does tend to be untimely when it comes to BB assignments (posting late, little clarity in what is due and when it is due) I hear he is an easy grader compared to most though.

Nice guy, he knows his work, always helps and explains very well. I took his online and classroom class and it was fine. Not super easy, but i like it! I personally would recommend him!

Somewhat of a quirky professor. Good class for someone looking to be introduced to solid literature--not recommended for those who are well-read! This is a watered-down course, still entertaining though!

Prof Tower is easy to get along with and is helpful. You must attend class because there is a reading quiz at the beginning of each class. He does tend to grade the papers harder than some but there are other points to be obtained throughout the semester if you attend the classes.

Took his online English class. He never really updated blackboard. Only wrote a few papers and took a few quizzes. As long as you follow his guidelines you will do good on the paper. He's a really nice guy and I'd take a class with him again.
