I think Mr. Venditto is a really nice teacher, and I would recommend his class to other students. The material is pretty dull, but he makes the best of it. He rocks!!

Venditto is a great teacher....i missed about 8 classes this semester and he only lets you miss 4....i got maybe one C and the rest we're D, and handed in all of my papers late n he still gave me a C just because i handed in all of my work.... he's a great teacher he'll work with anyone, if you try

Fun class. Makes a dull class fun with humor and good stories. This class may not be so good for older students. Prof V. made the class that i was dreading the most last semester my fave.

Mr. Venditto is seriously one of the most overrated teachers of all time. Not that great of a teacher that everyone puts him out to be. He also picks favriots. His taste for old punk music has also distorted his views on todays world of music. I will probably take his class again next semester though.

I took this class over the summer and it was a cakewalk. He's so laidback and it was great how he gave us a choice on what to write for all our essays. I wrote all mine the day of class and passed with an A. He has a lot of interesting stories, but sometimes his lectures had nothing to do with class and were a little pointless.

Mr. Venditto was a great teacher. I would of loved to take him for Comp 111 but his class filled up immeaditly, that should tell you something. If your looking for a fun interesting teacher, he is your guy.

Dave is a great teacher, really cares about students and wants them to do well. gives 4 papers, fairly easy grader. just hand in all your papers and you'll get a C and if you put the effort in most get an A. i highly recommend Dave, no regrets here!!

Got an A in his class last semester. Only a few stories due every week, and expects students to come prepared. It's college, right? Met with him twice for the research paper, and got a good grade.

Venditto is a great teacher. I took him for both 110 and 111. I would recommend taking him for 110 first if you need both classes. This way you understand what he is looking for. The final research paper is 45% of the grade but he makes it easy, with re-writes and letting you pick your own topic on ANYTHING. Best Comp teacher @ Bucks

Cool dude.I took him as an online 12 week summer class.The key to this class is answering the question asked and not getting off topic.Stay focused on your topic. They want to see if you can state a thesis and provide support.Don't reinvent the wheel with your papers and you will do fine. Laid back teacher and very helpful.

It was a sum1 class and it was fun. However, there was a lot of work to do and if you are not very good in writing, then don't take this class during summer time. Believe, it's much easier during regular semester and you won't brake your neck to get an A. During sum, there were 3 essays and a 10page research paper, which I found hard to write.

Prof Venditto is awesome.He is a literary genius and although he is not an easy grader he is definitely fair and you have plenty of opportunities to make corrections.. DONT BE LAZY! An A is very achievable. Also he's laid back and really funny. I took SUM1 it was really hard due to lack of time but regular semester shouldnt be an issue. TAKE HIM!!

Professor Venditto is an all around awesome person.Although a paper was due every class they were fairly easy and if you didn't do well you were able to rewrite the assignment and he kept the higher grade.I loved going to his class and would 100% take another one of his classes. He is awesome, probably my favorite professor at Bucks yet. He is so helpful, and he makes getting a good grade in the class easy, especially on the final research paper and all of the extra credit he gives. Hes funny, understands what its like to be a college student. I highly recommend him.

If you put in the work, you will receive an A in his class. In fact, it would be hard to get anything less then an A in his class. Professor Venditto is awesome, I would take him if you want to get better at writing and inflate your GPA.

Mr Venditto is a great teacher. It's not difficult to get an A in his class if you attend and do the work. He's always extremely helpful if you do have questions or need extra help with assignments. If you do the readings, do the work, and show up, you can easily get an A. I would definitely recommend him to anybody taking COMP at Bucks.

Prof. V runs an excellent program at Bucks. The summer session of this class is intensive however perfectly doable. Prof V is very helpful, even when lacking gives extra credit and always provides chances for rewrites. Hard to get anything other than an A if you put forth the effort. Text book is a must, as he gives frequent quizzes.

Prior to his class, I dreaded writing essays. After 107, I quickly registered for his 110. I highly recommend Mr. Venditto as a teacher. He is funny, helpful, & really cares that his students do well. Essays may be rewritten after their due date to improve your grade. He also likes to base one of the essays on a film & you get to watch it in class!

I LOVED having Mr. Venditto as a teacher, he's very laid back. Things to note: 1. You MUST read + ATTEND CLASS 2. If you want help (including rough draft help) YOU must ASK for it 3. If you do the work, you will pass **Writing is my thing- if it's not your thing, this class may be more difficult! If it is, you will love this class.

He's an awesome guy, I would take all of his classes if could. There is a lot of reading, but it's never too much in one night. He gives a quiz at the beginning of almost all the classes, so you must read! The essays he gives are not difficult. The prompts are clear, and he always gives examples of what he's looking for to get a good grade.

Professor David Venditto is exceptionally good at giving the students the best oppurtunities to pass his class. He is very likeable, and not only gives the students ample oppurtunities for easy credit, but also to gain knowledge in literature and composition. I tells you exactly what he expects, and he is not tough. Highly recommended for comp111.

Great prof. Hysterical and makes class enjoyable. Is very specific about what he expects, non the less he is a smart guy and does not take poor writing and accept it as quality.

This is not an easy A; expect daily readings and content quizzes, and to write multiple papers. However, Mr. V allows rewrites, and bends over backwards to help struggling students. He gives funny and interesting lectures, and is an all-around nice guy. I'd highly recommend any of his classes--you'll work hard, yes, but you'll enjoy it immensely!

Prof. Venditto is the bee's knees. He is always willing to help, extremely insightful, a great writer, and extremely fair. If you are willing to learn, he will be there for you. He also has tutoring hours, so don't be afraid to ask for help. Take all of your comp and lit courses with him, work hard, and you will leave Bucks better for it.

It's entirely possible to get an A in the class (I did) but you will definitely earn it. Reading is due every class accompanied by a short quiz but the selections are interesting and relatively short. There are several essays, all available to rewrite for full credit & there are multiple opportunities for extra credit. He is a great professor.

He's a nice guy. Gives great feedback on your essays and allows you to rewrite them. If you actually do the assignments, there is no reason you shouldn't get an A in his class. Taking him next semester for COMP111.

I enjoyed Prof. Venditto class. He gives reading quizzes in the beginning of each class, but they are super easy. He assigned a total of 7 writing assignments for the semester that where spaced out well enough to be overwhelmed. He is a younger professor that you can easily relate too. You will need the book for class and attendance is important.

He is so far one of the best English professor I ever had. I took him for Comp 110 and Comp 111, and he was very helpful. I will definitely prefer him to anyone

Professor Venditto is seriously one of the best professors you could have! He is extremely helpful, most especially with the essays. He gives a lot of feedback on the essays, and lets you rewrite them. Overall, he is super chill and understanding, plus with the re-writes and MANY extra credit opportunities, it is definitely possible to get an A!

Venditto was my teacher for Comp110 and he was great! He really gives every student a chance to do better! I kick myself because I could have easily gotten an A, but I was being lazy. Overall he was a great teacher, I would highly recommend him!

TAKE THIS TEACHER. Very knowledgeable and will go out of his way to help you. He wants you to succeed. You will have homework, reading assignments, and plenty of work that you must be held accountable for, but I had a great experience.

Professor Venditto was an outstanding professor to take; he actually cared about you getting through the class and was beyond helpful when you needed him. He is a really cool guy beyond the class and it carries over to the course. The work he assigns is reasonable and as long as you stick with the flow of the class you'll be just fine.

Mr. Venditto is pretty laid back and will help you pass and is very understanding. I'm not someone who does to well in school, but I got an A in his class and I liked him enough to take Comp 110 with him this coming semester and to plan my schedule for the semester around this class making sure I have him again!

Great prof. Really goes out of his way to help people. 4 papers and 10 pages of reading per class. Not sure why people think that's a lot of reading for college. Do your work and you'll be fine!

Such a funny and laid back dude. Gave really helpful outlines for essay prompts so it was easy to organize your papers. You will have to read the assignments because he gives a lot of eading quizzes that will help boost your grade.

Venditto is very persistent and clear of what it takes to pass his course. If you care, it will show. I took Comp 111, which is arguably the toughest class you'll take at Bucks. There's 4-5 papers, 8-10 small quizzes, and the final is a min. 10 pages. It seems like a lot, but Venditto helps you immensely along the way. It was a piece of cake!

Gives a reading every night for one unit, but they're all pretty easy with a quick reading quiz the next day, about 5 questions, easy grade booster. very funny, helpful man. a few 3 page essay with one 10 page one, but he lets u re write each essay! the ten pg. one is done 3 pages at a time with teacher meetings. so easy! best english prof 10/10

venditto was a great professor and cares about how his students will succeed, you can rewrite your papers as many times as you need and hes very open to helping students with their papers, would definitely take his class again. Highly recommend

BEST English teacher at Bucks He is the definition of a good teacher. Teaches you everything you need to know. Also is funny and straight to the point. Doesnt waste any time. Took in summer for 3 hour class and time flew by because he made it interesting. Legit didnt mind driving 40 mins to his class early in the morning; thats how great he was.

VERY clear about what he expects. Explains each assignment many times. I did well and got along with him just fine. You can rewrite every paper as many times as you want. Theres also some reading, but the articles are really short.

For a COMP class it makes sense to have a lot of assignments, but he gives you a good time frame between. He will drop the lowest reading quiz scores you have. He cares about you and will help you get your grades up. As long as you turn in something for your essay you are allowed to redo it as much as you want. He is also a fair grader.

Best teacher I have had. Follow the class guidelines and follow the syllabus and you will do fine. A lot of reading and reading quizzes are based off what you read. Easy class to get an A if you do the work!

10/10 professor. There's 1-2 short story readings every night (& optional poems), a super easy 5 question quiz on the reading the next class & small group work for discussion questions. There are quite a few essays but he lets you rewrite them as many times until u get an A! Responds to emails promptly, & gives LOTS of good resources for papers!

hes a really good professor, is very understanding and very kind. he is really willing to work with you if you're having issues. just respect him and he will respect you. i personally am really not an English person but i enjoyed the class. he gave a lot of examples so you know exactly what not to do. as long as you put in the effort you'll do fine

With Professor Venditto its not possible to fail his class because he allows you to rewrite essays as many times until you get an A so take advantage of it and hes very caring and understanding i wish im taking him again for Comp-111

Is a fair professor.

Adequate amount of reading accompanied by a quiz the next class. (Mostly you could read 30 minutes before class and pass the quizzes) If you love to write (or even if you dont and want to challenge yourself) I highly recommend to those taking this required class to take it with Dr. V -Mayhem

Professor Venditto doesn't want to see any one fail, and he will cut you some slack if you need it. He teaches you what you need to know about writing. I started off not knowing the basics, and left his class with refined writing and research skills. As long as you do what is expected and take advantage of the re-writes, you will succeed.

Dr. Venditto is an amazing professor. It is impossible to fail his class because you can rewrite essays until you get an A. There is readings and quizzes the next day but they are easy. He wants you you succeed and become a better writer from his class. He is funny & lead back. As long as you put the effort in you will do fine.

Pretty boring class, just show up and do the work. Its mostly all at home work. You read articles and write essays on them. Really straight forward, easy A

im surprised he doesn't teach any Film Classes at bucks hes a comp teacher but it seems like hes true passion is being a film writer but hes still a great Comp teacher regardless would absolutely recommend him to anybody

By far the easiest professor out there. He doesn't care about the nitty gritty of your papers, and just cares for good content. My only mistake was taking a Friday class for 2.5h. Lets you rewrite everything and really is on your side. I was easily able to write all my papers night of + extremely little readings. Definitely taking him next semester

He is a great guy, very interesting and super laid back. He gives 3 papers and then a 10 page research paper. He gives reading quizzes just about every week. Great teacher. He gives a lot of readings but the quizzes are easy. Explains how to improve your essay very well and allows rewriting it.

A wonderful teacher. I work full time and a part time job as well and he was very understanding and kind. The work load was CRAZY like 3 discussions a week 2 quizzes and a paper be aware. You can pass if you want to. Its all up to you. He gives you all the tools you need and always answers quickly. He has my respect. I would recommend him.

Was the best teacher I had all semester. Lots of reading but if you read well enough you did well on quizzes and essays. Always allowed rewrites. Participate in class!!! He had well structured lesson plans and followed his syllabus. Overall, he had a laid back personality and was easy to communicate with.

He is a great prof but just beware that he is very hard to reach via email so talk to him in class and he is a lazy grader typically takes him up to two weeks to grade papers

Best professor Ive had at Bucks! He truly wants all his students to pass. His work is minimal every class you have a reading and a discussion and quiz about the night reading (literally like two easy questions). He allows you to rewrite your essays and he will even proof read your essays for you.

He was a great teacher! He gives outlines for all of his essays and gives examples of good and bad essays. 10/10 would recommend.

D.V. was a great professor and was always helpful with essays and graded fairly easily on discussions and quizzes. He allows essay rewrites and provides thorough feedback, so you can improve your score a lot.

Took his class during the pandemic over zoom. Dr. Venditto always talked about the reading that was due and explained everything extremely clearly and thoroughly. There were group work every class but as long as you do the reading its easy yet you have to put in some thinking into your response. I would definitely recommend taking this professor!

Dr. V is a great Professor! He knows exactly what he's doing and applies it well in class. There are back to back essays but he gives you plenty of time in between essays to get it done on time and not big essays... seriously it's easy. Homework was just reading quizzes which were literally 2-3 questions on an article he has linked. 100% take him.

Venditto is a kind professor who gives you re writes for every essay. Gave one extra credit assignment too. Super easy, just write your essays some what decent and he'll tell you how to fix it. He improved my writing too and his prompts were interesting. Def take him he's the best English teacher at Bucks.

Took his online Comp 110 class as a remote transfer student. As long as you read the syllabus and follow the instructions given, its a pretty easy class to score well. He gives you unlimited opportunities to resubmit papers based on his feedback, so if you are willing to put the work in, you can get an A.

dont listen to the naysayers, this guy will literally give you rewrites on essays he has graded with annotations on how to fix your work, he is more lax on his words like using profanity but honestly you have to be a child to get offended, didnt like the reading quiz but he takes off two of the worst you've done so theres that,hes a pretty cool guy

Teaches the class in a very simple way that I appreciated for a gen ed course. Great feedback on every essay. Lots of flexibility with essay topics as well by providing choices of multiple readings each week or so. Provided video explanations of essays and formatting etc. alongside written instructions which I appreciated in an online course.

He is an amazing teacher. Definitely recommend his classes. I'm hoping to get him again in the future. As long as you try you'll get a decent grade. Show up for class, attendance is important because you never really know what work will change. He made class fun and exciting. Do the readings listed because you'll need them for the reading quizzes.

I took this class during the summer session. Venditto gave feedback for every essay and allowed rewrites. The textbook was not provided, but some of the articles were depending on the edition of the book. He is a fair grader and there were only 4 small assignments per week, not including the essays.

he explains exactly what he's looking for in each paper (6 over the course of the semester) during classes. he gives clear, detailed feedback when grading papers. he is very particular, but in a helpful way. he gives 'group quizzes' which i didn't love because i felt like i had to do all of the work for my group. other than that, no complaints.

Dr. Venditto was an amazing professor for me to have. He was able to answer any questions I had. and gave great advice any time I got lost. I would absolutely look for this professor when selecting any other writing classes.
