He's really cool. I dreaded taking this class in the beginning, but he makes you feel relaxed about it. He makes you come out of your shell. You can't fail unless you go out of your way to not try at all. He gives answers to midterm and final questions. How can you go wrong? I loved his class.

He's fun and realistic. Its a SPEECH class so be prepared to present yourself and other materials infront of class. His exams are easy. His review is the same as the test. There's 1 major project due at the end of the semester. This class was an easy A. Just do as he asks you to and all will be fine

Good teacher. Doesnt expect you to be a expert audience speaker, but expects you to try. Grades mostly on presentations and tests, but he helps you by giving reviews. Also, if youre shy he helps you out during your presentations (usually). A + if you do everything he asks for, which isnt a lot.

This guy is so easy...walk thru the park. All you need to do is your presentations, and maybe study a little bit. He gives you all the answer and questions to the Midterm and FInal which he doesn't even call them Midterm and Final just test...there's only 3 speech and 3 test

He is an extremely easy professor! He is very lenient. Remember guys, this class is not public speaking so you will be learning about other aspects of communication. I didn't really learn anything new that I already knew before I went in. We only had 3 simple speeches that we had to do the entire semester. I thought he was okay, neutral.

You have to take this teacher. I took him in Virtual (online) and he is super easy. You only have to record 3 videos, No test. If you ask question he will take prox 3 -4 days to answer so you have to patience because all professor who teaches online takes time to respond. Alot of sutends send e-mails. But he's very good teacher. I got an A :)

If you need to take this class, take it with him. If you even give minimal effort you will pass. He does not expect much, just do what he asks. You will get an A.

I took this class online in Summer, it was a great experience! perfect for shy people and those who have too many responsibilities and can't go to class. Only 3 speeches (first one:2 mins, second: 5 mins, last: 10 mins) a couple easy essays and you're done. His grading is totally fair, he won't take away points if you make few mistakes. He's great!

Very good class. Three speeches. One speech is a two minute speech on your perceived self and your presented self. You can use a poster board to help you. The second one is a 6 minute informative speech that most people used power point or a poster board to present.Finally a persuassive group speech which you each speak 6 mins . Very good professor

This class is NOT an easy A, I would like to say it's more of an easy B. If you really want the A you have to work a little bit harder. The guy is awesome, very understanding and funny. Take him if you wanna get SPC1026 out of the way fast.

I had him for Virtual College. He wasn't hard, but he wasn't easy. He made it so that you had to work for your grade, but he wasn't unfair. It wasn't great doing speech online (for obvious reasons), but doing his class was fun. I suggest you take him in person, though. I took him online and it seemed he was busy often; seemed distant a lot.

Very fun teacher. He came in to class one day, said he felt bad and there was no class and left 1 minute into the class. The class is actually fun and the tests are from the book. He gives you maybe 5-7 questions & answers straight from the test and the rest is kind of common sense. I never read the chapters in the book and got a B in the class!

This guy is cool, its true the class is easy, but again this is a communication class and many people have stage fright so he makes it comfortable for the student to present. He is very open about the topics so you really can present anything you like.

Super easy!! You don't even have to attend class as much just make sure you got all the due dates right and you'll be fine. This is one of those classes that you can leave almost everything to the last minute. We barely ever used the book so its not worth buying even though he may stress that in the beginning.

Hes very jolly and since I only have him as a blended coure(part online part in class) I think he does pretty good job.

This Professor is great! I took his class last semester. I had to relocate to a different country during the semester and he was very helpful and understanding. I definitely recommend this professor. He answers all your questions and try to help you all the time.

He is fun and very energetic. Even in the early morning when everyone is quiet, he will come up with something to say. The best way to pass his class is to study from the book and most of all work on your speeches in time and make them interesting. Even a shy person can pas his class if the above are met.

Took his virtaul class and found it to be easy. Standard weekly quiz (all from the text and a video, a weekly class discussion post, 3 speeches and one written assignment. Nice prof. responds quickly and seems concerned. Textbook is needed as well as on-line access to pearson. Easy class and with a little effort and easy A.

I took this class online. In the begining all students were very confused with where to located things. I really enjoyed the class the Professor answer e-mails ? quickly. You must read the Chapters and take the pre-tests to help you get a good grade. The text book is need and MyCommuicationLab Access Code. Enjoyed the class you must take it.

This class was pretty easy because the professor is very clear with his grading criteria. He always responds to emails and is definitely there for you. I would've gotten an A but I just got lazy. You definitely need the book and access code. The tests are pretty straight forward. I definitely recommend him!

Funny guy, i took this class blended. You're gonna do like 3 speech presentations that are like 2 mins or less. Idk what's the other people's bad rating deal is but this class was cake. There's quizzes every week but like, the answers are literally in the book. EASY.

I took his online speech class. You have 3 speech presentations, 2 minutes each. My only difficulty was trying to find the required 5 adult audience members you loose points per missing audience member), otherwise, this class was a piece of cake. A welcomed break from a science heavy semester.

The class has a clear grading criteria that give a general understanding of communication. My class was a hybrid class so assignments are online which makes it easier to follow your own timeline. The 3 in-class presentations are helpful for those who aren't a fan of public speaking.

Super easy class. Due to COVID-19, only 1 filmed speech was required but the other one wasn't difficult. The other big assignment was a fieldwork essay but again it wasn't hard. My only complaint was that he was hard to get ahold of. He responded to my emails 2 days after I sent them. Assignments, quizzes & midterm. Overall, 9/10

Professor Wadle is a very relatable and caring guy. He makes you comfortable if you are too nervous to stand up and make a speech, he makes sure the assignments are easy enough, and due within a long time. I dreaded speech but his charisma and personality made it all worthwhile.

Overall, I think was an easy class to pass. His grading criteria consists of quizzes, discussions, speeches, an easy fieldwork essay, and a proctored midterm. I took him during COVID19 so I did not need an audience for my speeches. I would recommend for the proctored midterm and quizzes to not only go through his PowerPoints but also the book.

David Wadle, in his Speech class, was an awesome, understanding teacher. He, for your convenience, lays out a "battle plan" of assignments and projects weeks to months in advance, and despite my being late on a number of assignments, did the professor grade my work with mercy - the only reason why I got an A during his Fall course.

Professor Wadle is a god amongst men. His words, sweet tenderness to my ears. A natural born orator that would shake Socrates down to his very core.

This class is easy, 5 quizzes (25 questions each), 2 speeches about 2 min and 30 sec. Before taking a quiz you'll have to read but I just used the power point he sent and it also help for the quizzes, but also read just in case. He gives plenty of time to do each assignment. Also he's an easy grader. Do the work and you'll pass the class.

Great teacher, the course contained two speeches. Midterm and finals are extremely low weighted, so what really matters are the speeches and discussion posts. Not a tough grader, definitely recommend taking him.

The professor's online class is very well organized. You will have to spend around 30minutes to learn where everything is and it will all be fine. Just read the textbook in your own pace and do the discussion assignments. The test questions are directly from the book (open book tests). Easy A.

Prof. Wadle is an easy grader and really caring overall. He always responded to my emails and showed that he cared. I took this class online and it couldn't have been easier. Grades are based on discussions, quizzes, and 2 speeches as well as a midterm. If you do really well with your coursework, then you don't have to worry that much about doing good on the midterm. The discussions/quizzes are based in the book.

He is honestly so funny and SOO real. He understands when you are sick or need to leave early. The class is 2 speeches, 3 discussions, and a few quizzes with much given time to complete. He gives high grades and always tells his personal stories to make us feel more involved. The class was always full of laughter and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Weekly assignment, assessment and smartbook which took me less than an hour to complete each week (two attempts for each). i have never rated a professor but i felt like i needed to rate professor wadle because he has been a delight. he is super caring towards his students, he is also really funny and understanding. i recommend him 100%. assignments are easy workbook assignments, two 2/3 minute presentations, and one two page essay, 675 words. This class was so easy. We had 1 essay, 1 proctored midterm, and 1 project along with assignments on connect where you are guaranteed an A as long as you finish them. The midterm was only 10% of the final grade. My only complaint is he was not helpful when I had questions. I had to ask classmates or search up examples online.

The assignments are super easy and there's around 6-8 assignments due biweekly all on the same day. There are 4 total discussions and two speeches that are easy to complete. There's a midterm worth 10% and no final. He is a fair grader and responds quickly and nicely to whatever you have to say. I would definitely take his class again.

light work. only a midterm and its only 10% of your grade. took this class online. homework every other sunday, its easy but takes long if you leave it all for one day. 2 projects and he gave all of us 100%. easy easy A, take this class

Professor Wadle's class is a breeze - assignments are easy, and he's a fair, helpful grader. Definitely take this course if you want a stress-free A. I found Unstuck study great for exam prep along with the free textbook.

Great class! Did podcast instead of actual ftf speeches. Lot of online work but super easy to do and discussions. Gives clear instructions on what to do and gives creative freedom. Overall super easy and would take again.

I took this class independently, so there's not much to say about how he teaches. But his class was extremely easy for me, and the McGraw Hill assignments weren't bad. One of my favorite parts about his assignments is that you don't need a word limit on the discussion posts; you could type a paragraph, reply to 2 classmates, and you'd be good.

Professor Wadle is fair, funny and supportive. The course is well organized and extremely manageable. I became a better public speaker from this course, largely bc of the comfort level Prof. Wadle provides in this class. There is textbook work with clear deadlines and good information. The podcasts in the new podcast room are fun and empowering.

Easy class, easy A, do the homework, do the discussions, and you're golden. I liked the podcasts he made us do rather than the traditional speeches. I felt like it was an interesting medium of communication.

He is awesome!! Very understanding, and his class is simple and he isn't a harsh grader. I really enjoyed his class, I definitely recommend.

The most understanding and kind professor I had so far! the homework was a lot but they were easy and the speeches were not that bad to do. would highly recommend this professor if you want an A+!!

Very good experience in general. Didn't like to record myself giving speeches 4 times, but it was not that bad. McGraw Hill Connect assignments (student book and assessment for each chapter), but easy questions.

Class was pretty easy if you did the homework, discussion posts and your speech videos. He was easy to reach when i had questions. Def recommend.

He's funny, and super chill. If you're a nervous person when it comes to public speaking I recommend taking his class.

He's so funny and chill. Took him for summer, we just do group podcasts. My best advice is to be early cause sometimes it's just 10 mins we're there takes attendance and we leave. Hw but easy honestly stress free class!! No tests.

He is so chill. We did 3 podcasts that are all very easy. The rest of the work is with mcgraw hill and they're just online assignments and quizzes. He's very caring and this class didn't require much effort it's very easy to pass just do the work.
