BEST professor i've ever had. I've taken all my Criminal Justice classes with him. He may be hard at times, but he teachs really well. If you want to learn the material and do well on tests. Take him. If you dont like projects-stay away.

Professor Wedlick is the best professor at WCC, not only did I learn about criminal justice, he also showed us how to be successful throughout our college career. When I first took him I was a undisciplined student, he was hard on me but I thank him for the life lessons I have learned from him.

One of the best professors I've ever had.. He uses his stories from when he was a cop to illustrate topics we are learning in class.. this also made class interesting. If you do what your supposed to it's an easy A

Very good professor, He tells interesting stories and ties them in with the lecture. His not hard attendance policy is lenient for late people. The tests are easy and his grading is really fair. And his not arrogant his actually an interesting guy if you get his personality and he loves to joke a lot.

Had him for Police Org & Mngt, class was pretty easy if you do what he says. Your really dont ever use the textbook in class, all you really use it for is homework (which he only skims through when he's grading them).Alot of ppl say he's rude, I didnt find him rude at all, but he dose love to talk about himself.

Let's be honest people, you either hate Wedlick or you don't. He's a hard@** with a lot of expectations but if you do what he says and listen to him you'll benefit greatly. One of the best professors I've had - stories are unecessary but add character to the course. Not so helpful out of class and definetely picks favorites.

Getting an A simply means paying attention. He teaches in layman terms and incorporates real life examples. At little proud of himself, but then he ought to be.

Great Man, You may think he is a cocky full of himself kind of guy but he completely deserves it. Love his life experience stories. Only problem is he goes on rants about things that arent in the curriculum (if you think thats a bad thing)! Overall great man great teacher.

Great professor, fairly easy work. He tells a lot stories but gets his points across, and he doesn't seem to like classes that don't talk. He's also not proud of breaking a woman's ankle./, and in no instances did he say that he was a "tough cop", in my experience anyway.

great professor! treats you as a adult and has a old school personality, you show him respect he shows you the same amount of respect. if you want some one to hold your hand and give you award just for being in his class its the wrong class for you. i cannot stress how much of a great man he is has the best stories and work effort reflects grades

Professor Wedlick is straight to the point with a weird sense of humor. You will love him or hate him, it's a personal opinion. He's very proud of his accomplishements (he should be), and tells stories than can be boring at times. The truth is, he's the head of the department and you'll take his classes at least 4X, so just breathe and calm down.

Great teacher really wants to teach the class and likes to put in his prior experience in the lecture(which i like) you can ask him questions and he will try to answer it best he can. The class itself is hard and every class he offers requires a Research Paper 10-20 pg ;(

He is a great teacher and very entertaining. The class goes by fast, but he knows what he is talking about.

Dr. Wedlick is by far, the best professor I have had during my stay at WCC. Wedlick has extensive knowledge in his area of teaching.

The reason Wedlick gives us a ton of work is for a greater good: to prepare his students for either going directly into the workforce in law enforcement which requires one to be academically competent, or to get us ready for a tougher four-year institution. Overall, Wedlick has inspired me to further exert my energy for the betterment of my academic well-being -- to not be lackadaisical in getting things done. If you literally do what he asks and in a way he wants, there's no reason one can fail

Let's get one thing out of the way. Dr. Wedlick is a great instructor, but if you plan on slacking, goofing off or just being smart aleck, don't take his courses because you won't pass and you will just get in the way of students who actually want a career in criminal justice. You will have to work hard but if you want to be a cop, get used to it.

If you act like you go to a real college you will do fine. He acts like a real professor which is hard at WCC. Stay quiet. Do your work and you will pass.

He's a very demanding person and can be strict, he's not a monster like a lot of people say actually a great proffesor

He's a great teacher however you need to make sure you don't miss classes. Also expect homework every week.

He can be a tough grader but this guy is a great professor, seriously and a lot of kids won't say that because there not ready for real college experience because of being babied by other wcc professors that make their class a joke.. wedlick teaches like it's a real college and if u cant handle that college education then u shouldnt be taking him

Professor Wedlick is an overall good professor. He is tough don't get me wrong but he expects no little work from anyone. He is always joking around that's if you find his humor funny. He is good with grading and fair with test. As long as you do the work you should have no problem.

Great professor with great stories. A lot of notes, Get ready to write 10 pages per class. He will help you out if you show interest. Go and see him at office hours have him to know you and he will remember you at grading times. Participate in class. Make sure you do your 'out-of-class' assignments (homework) and try to get high grades on research

Great professor... works best when you communicate and ask questions. Engaging in the conversation with help you get a good grade.

Dr. Wedlick has changed tremendously! in the past, he failed me twice and I decided I wanted closure. He turned out to be a very impressive professor throughout the semester. He listened, smiled, and engaged in conversations. I really appreciate his effort and change. He's a great professor and knows his craft very well. Give him a try!!
