Hands out notes for each chapter that is to be reviewed. Notes are useful for reviewing for finals. Hands out a huge project and marks fairly and easily on all tests and projects. Gives leniency on different little things

Dave is a great teacher. His insight into the business world is both entertaining and helpful. His tests are pretty easy but he marks very hard on the project. All in all, I'd recommend him.

David is such a hilarious teacher. He told us little funny stories about his life that were related to the topics. He gives hints about what's going to be on exams. Your only homework (besides reading the book and studying)is the group project. Definately an awesome teacher!

This guy is great. He gives you hand outs of notes which are EXACTLY what the test will be on. As long as you arent lazy and you study the notes he gives u, you will get an easy mark. He's relaxed and easy going. I recommend him to all, except maybe ESL ppl.

He's really great... all his tests and midterms come directly out of his notes, so if u know the notes, you'll ace the exams. easy to listen to lectures, fun and relaxed class. be there on time each class and you've got some easy earned attendence marks. awesome prof.

Great teacher! Lectures are interesting and class discussion is encouraged. Tries to apply class material to real life. Expectations on the project were not totally clear but he is willing to clarify them if you ask.

Good lectures, notes follow lectures and the textbook (notes are very useful). Lectures sometimes get repeative with girl and guy comparisons. First 2tests are 4chapters each, the final is 8or9 chapters. The paper is related to a career you are interested in. Good class.

funny guy! great teacher, gives out great notes, barely have to study~ tho it's "required, the textbook is unecessary because his notes cover 99% of the tests~ i bought the book & i didn't even use it & ended up with a B+~ PS: every year, looks more & more like a pregnant guy :P but a FANTASTIC TEACHER!

He's very easy, he hands out notes, and goes over them. Just study the notes and his class will be very easy. I'm very close to a A+, so it tells you how easy he is. Another plus he has long breaks =)

Cracks me up to no end. His notes - which he hands out to you - can lack clarity at times, but his tests aren't big challenges.

Nive guys, but not as funny as he thinks. Tests can be hard but as long you study they are fair. Projects are huge but he gives you lots of time. Very approachable! Overall good teacher!

great guy, gives lots of practical examples from his own business experiences. lectures are fairly interesting, easy to follow because of handouts. dont buy the textbook, i did and never opened it once. the notes are the class-tests are completely from his handouts and overheads

He's an awesome teacher loved his class he was very helpful and very interesting. I wish he taught more classes. You don't need the textbook if you listen in class and do your assignments the exams are sooooo easy...

I really liked David. This is the first 3 hour class I'vetaken at Kwantlen without wanting to die half way through. I would take him again, he kept it interesting and knew first hand from experience how the business world works.

He makes 3hrs class fun.If you remember all the notes which he gives you,you should be an A student.If you are good at memory,just take him.One individual a term.I will take his business courses again.

David is by far the best teacher.If u need to take an elective take this class!He gives you the exact notes that you will need for the midterm!If you have the notes memorized you will get an A.There is 1 big project, but get a good group, start it early. I ended with an A! This is the second class I've taken with him and I want to take more!

his notes are clear. love the examples he gives in class it helps to understand better. His notes are almost always in a exam and he is a VERY fair marker!

David is a hard but fair marker. All his classes are important to attend and you must keep up your reading of the textbook and his notes. Exams are not too hard as long as you know your stuff. Very approachable and willing to assist you with your group project. I'd take any of his classes.

David is a really approachable guy. He very laid back, and isnt stuck up like some other teachers are at KPU. Moreover, he provides Beautiful Notes for his class which is all you need to study,i never used the book. His test are OK, and he marks pretty fair. The year long project was a big pain, but it provides knowledge on creating a business plan

Great prof, my favourite one at Kwantlen! He brings a lot of real-life experience and knowledge to his classes which make it interesting, so the learning is not all about regurgitating from the textbook. Easy marker he makes up tests right from the notes he gives you. I got an A+ in his class take him!

I've never writtin any comments about profs before but i have to admit, David is one of the best and i mean best profs out there. IF i could, I'd take all my classes with him! i would highly recommened this prof. P.s. guys...you can leaRN a few tips from this great guy!

Easy teacher, probably one of the best at kwantlen. teaches you outside the textbook with cool examples, all of his tests are based on his handout notes which are the easiest things to study off. theres one group project which he grades easy to boost ur marks. Overall a laid back guy with cool stories.

Hes a good teacher :). I did find his classes a little bit boring sometimes because i cant stand reading notes. For his exams make sure you study his notes mainly, i studied the textbook for the first exam and did terrible, the second exam i used the notes and did amazing!! I would def recommend him

Pretty good teacher but mainly lectures can be pretty boring. Make sure you keep his notes/handsouts as he bases all of his midterms and the final from them. No homework is assigned but attendance is marked. He's a pretty straight forward teacher who tells you exactly what he expects from the presentation and all the tests.

What can I say? he's definitely a great professor and GPA booster~ recommend his course~tests are very easy and straight forward~all you need to do is follow his notes~you can easily get an A. Oh~and he loves Lamborghini~

Best teacher ive had at KPU so far! took all three classes that he teaches, BUSI 1110, 1210 and 2490! If you study his notes, exams are gonna be easy. and if you need help, he'll be willing to help you out. strongly recommend him!

ive been at kpu for almost 3 years now and he has been my best prof yet. he really knows his stuff. both in the class and in the work field. he is funny and his stories about his careers are always interesting. if you are a business student, i highly recommend him.

I took business 1210, international business and business 1110 with David. He's a fantastic prof! He provides notes so you don't have to buy the textbook. His exams are fairly easy, just memorize his notes and it's an easy A. I see no reason why you can't get an A in his class. He does do attendance every class for your participation mark.

If you are into ONLY memorization, then take him. If you learn by application and are hands-on, you may suffer. I get B+'s and A's, however in his class I'm getting C's to C-'s. Everything is memorization. His teaching is the kind that goes into your ears and goes straight out. His class is SUPER bland and boring too. Barely uses any visuals.

Love David's class, but 3 hours can get pretty boring. He's very kind and has hilarious stories to tell. :)) The key is to memorize his notes. There's A LOT to memorize BUT it's super easy to memorize if you try and understand them. So just show up to class. You paid for it. Don't be lazy.

Exams are based on the detailed lecture notes he gives out. You need to read and memorize a lot, but there are no surprises on the exam. Honestly I want to give him a lower score because he lets a student go off topic too often during lectures as he is too nice. Lectures are mandatory (participation marks) and you can study if he goes off topic.

He is a nice old guy all the midterms are there from his handouts maybe some of it was from book but easy midterms

He provides notes that r definitions of key terms. His types of EXAMS r like" DESCRIBE + LIST 5 of "elc " or IDINTIFY 4 of "elc".Also arount 20 to 25 trues and false; they can be tricky so pay attintion and understand the lecture Well Two midterms: Test yourself before exams; so u dont forget a difinition or keys.

One of the best profs at KPU. Two midterms and one final. No filler quizzes, labs, assignments, etc. in this course. Tells some great stories and really relates the material to his life experiences in the corporate world. Gives condensed notes that cover 85% of the exams. Remaining stuff is covered in class. Highly recommended prof for BUSI 1100.

David is a very hilarious guy. He brings his own experiences in class and has a lot of knowledge about the subject. He gives you all the material that you need for the midterms, most of it you just need to memorize. He talks a lot, but is open for student's participation in class. For sure I would have another class with him.
