Prof Wilner clearly wants his students to learn the material. His expectations are clear from day one, and the syllabus. He is fair, the reviews I read from other students sound like they were written by students who expected a participation trophy, but who also failed to follow simple instructions. Your grade will reflect your effort. Ask ???

Please do not take this professor if you have a job and taking full time classes. I had to drop this lab, which killed my lecture class as well because it is just too much for a lab class. Quiz every class, too much writing (basically coping the entire book to your notebook-Does not make sense). Too little of explanation too much requirement.

Professor Wilner will walk you through the course and give you a very solid opportunity to make a good grade. He does give a bit of homework, but his quizzes are not hard, and he is very willing to take the xtra time to help you with the math or anything you might be struggling with. He really cares about his students.

Prof. Wilner really gets a bad rap. Yes he is a little cooky but he IS a chemistry teacher. He cared about my grade, he offered Saturday help for anyone that needed more instruction. He told jokes and had us laughing. Yes there were quizzes every class but he showed you the exact questions, who else does that? I got a B in this class. Loved it
