He is an interesting and fun teacher. Almost everyday he has a fun activity for the class to do or interesting video to watch. The tests are easy because almost all of the questions come right out of the chapter questions.

david is awesome. you will want to be in class everyday he's teaching. he keeps things very fun and interesting and you enjoy learning. sometimes it feels like he should be teaching grade school, but then we'd miss out on him. take his classes!!!!

He is the cutest old man ever!! He reminds me of my grandpa did when my gramps was still alive. Anyway I love his teaching, his college sense of humor, and his super long arms and legs.

David should teach some of the other staff in the psychology department how to teach. He is the best, take him if you have the chance to. You won't regret it!

He makes it so easy to understand the material. He always shows clips of movies and is really funny. He talks the whole class but it's fun. The tests are easy if you study because it comes straight from the book. He gets you interested in psychology.

His class is my favorite psych class ive taken! He makes the material easy to learn and the tests come straight from the text book. His activites in class are fun and he always knows how to make the class laugh.

David is great! He has interesting lectures and is extremely helpful. Great sense of humor and laugh. Listen to the lectures and you'll do fine on exams with a little studying. Always go to optional mneumonic sessions. Don't hesistate to take this class. I'd love to have David for another class in the future!

Winzenz is one of the best teachers i have ever had! If you are not good at math, take him, he makes it fun and easy to understand. Takes time to learn your name, has great stories and is very prepared for class. Tests are long but easy if you study. And he brings candy on important lecture days. Basically, he's the best.

I am currently still in David's class and he is by far the most helpful teacher. Being a freshmen he has shown me a standard to hold all of my professors too. I would gladly recomend David!

This class was VERY Tedious and very difficult, but it is required. He gives 2 tests and a final and none of them are cumulative. He gives great study guides and his class is really well structured. VERY HELPFUL. VERY hard to get an A.

I hate math, but for some reason I love statistics with Dr. Winzenz. Lecture is fascinating, and lab isn't so tough. Go to class, pay attention, take notes, keep up with the assignments, and I guarantee you'll be fine.

David is a great teacher. His classes are immensely interesting and he makes them engaging and fun to participate in. He is humorous and easygoing and is always happy to help you out with anything you need - even if it doesn't partain to his class.

I thoroughly enjoyed myself in his psychology class. He is so much fun and so crazy, you can't help but enjoy the class! The work required is fairly easy (besides reading the book), nothing cumulative. I'm definitely going to try & take another class by him.

AWESOME TEACHER. This class was very interesting and very easy. All you do is watch case studies and have class discussions. The final is based fully on the study questions and on the videos you watch in class.

David is one of the best professors I have ever met in the Psychology Department. This is my second class with him and he is amazing! His teaching style is clear, to the point and hilarious. He appeals to his students interests and makes working on statistics fun. He will always remember your name and give you a smile.

Professor Winzenz is a great teacher! Extremely helpful & passionate about teaching Statistics. You definitely have to go to each lecture (especially if you are not great at statistics, like myself) but any question you have be prepared to take the Handy Dandy Lovely Lavender Quickie Guide with you. I think Dr. Winzenz is my all time favorite teacher. He is extremely helpful and passionate to make sure his students learn what they need to learn and receive the letter grade they deserve. Statistics is not easy, but he makes it fun! I never even knew that was something I could say before. Highly Recommended!!

He is the best professor ever! This was a very hard class, so attending the lectures is crucial to passing this class. I got an A, because I attended every lecture, studied for the tests, went to every lab and participated in EC. Going to lecture is not tedious because he makes them so funny and interesting. I loved stats after this class!!!!!

Dr. Winzenz is a great professor. He hands out the syllabus on the first day with a bunch of papers that have everything you need to know for the course so no book is needed. You can choose to get points for attendance to get a better grade if you always attend classes but it's not mandatory. He's clear and to the point, if you work hard it's easy.

Great Professor. Gives out everything you would need to succeed in class the first day. Always super helpful and makes class as entertaining as he can. Has awesome lectures with different case studies that overlap with other psychology classes and gives out candy. Definitely take Stats with him if you have the opportunity despite the 8am lecture.

Winzenz was a fantastic professor. For such a difficult class for those who might not be a math wiz, he really wants you to do well. The lab portion is really where you get your learning done. Go to class, and do all your problem sets.

It's pretty difficultto make statistics interesting if it's not your bag. Winzenz works very hard to both engage, and make very clear material that is quite challenging for many students. This is my 3rd statistics class, and his method of lectures, and homework assignments are by far the most conducive to learning this material. Highly recommended.

Dr Winzenz is amazing. I am not a big math person let alone stats, however he made it easier to understand and was very helpful I got an A- , the best grade I have ever gotten in a math class. You'll work for it but in the end you will take home knowledge and understanding! Take good notes and go to class

Winzenz is an amazing professor! He really cares about his students and is there to help you. Test are not bad 2 parts, part one multiple choice and 2 is open notes during lab. He gives candy!!!!! Take him you will learn, it's hard work but if you work hard it pays off!

This class is not easy BUT this professor makes it so easy for you it's insane. He gives you everything you need the first day and leaves nothing unclear. Also everyone gets to choose how they individually graded in the class on the first day! Holla!

Very easy to understand. Gives the option at the beginning of the year for you to choose if you want attendance to be part of your grade or not. Material is way easier if you actually show up to class and learn it and his lectures are fun so no harm in going

All of these reviews are so accurate! Winzenz is probably one of the best teachers I've ever had. You can tell he loves the topic and loves teaching. Although the class is pretty early in the morning, he makes the 3 hour lecture/lab interesting. You can use any notes on the lab portion on the exam. Go Winzenz!

He's a good guy and the best choice if you want stat. met. in psych to be somewhat interesting. he gives you his version of the book. it's way better. He's trusting and makes the subject somewhat enjoyable when you're doing you lab work. he also gives you candy.

One of the best professor's EVER at Chico State! Im not a big math person, however professor Winzenz goes above and beyond for his students and relates the material to everyday life. He is so funny and really makes it worth the lecture at 8 am. You will not regret this teacher! Changed my life.

Winzenz is one of the best if not THE best on campus! He teaches a large info heavy class in a very real and understandable way. He seems like an intimidating serious man but he cracks a lot of little jokes and will go over whatever u need help with over and over until u get it. Dr. Winzenz is one of the best professors for Psychology at Chico State. He gives plenty of opportunities to complete the homework, he allots time for practice tests and reviewing the material, he makes lectures fun with candy and all sorts of fun activities, and overall he makes Statistics understandable. One of the best courses I have ever taken here at Chico State. He is one of the greatest professors I have ever had. He also grades very fast which i love.I recommend.

Very respectable prof who knows how to make the class laugh which was nice as it was one of the most intense classes I've taken at Chico State. You have to work for it but I'm glad I was lucky enough to be able to take the course with Winzenz. No book purchase required. Expect to learn new stats concepts than 105 this is not the same.
