He gives you all the answers for the test. Being you attend all the classes. Though he is not big on attendance so you can skip when you please.

He is a LOUD speaker! He is very laid back when it comes to classwork. He really doesn't care about attendance and does not penalize students at all for not comming. Although he WILL make many comments in class about your absence.

good professor. just wear a raincoat and goggles if you sit in the front row.

He got the point of what he was trying to say with good examples. he is very funny and energetic about the material. He gave me alot help when i reviewed a test with him. The only downfall is that it takes him forever to get to a point. He is also crazy.

Dr. Wiseman is a great teacher. It is unfortunate that some of my fellow students don't seem to take advantage of his knowledge and enthusiasm at times!

yea im pretty sure he's not normal. he seems like a nice guy and an easy teacher but he def is weird. and if u take his class be prepared to be picked on 40 times during every class.

this guy is a wacko...the first day of class you will laugh at how weird he is but you get use to it then it just becomes repetitive. write down all of his notes and the tests are easy. i got a "B" and it is true...he NEVER lets you out of class early. cool guy tho

He's one of those teachers you actually learn from. Which is very nice considering with most teachers you don't and barely get by without learning much of anything. He may come off a little weird but just take the notes and you'll do great. This was actually my favorite class.

Yes, he may be a little "energetic", but hes a nice guy. I thought the class was very easy. He teachers everything very well. I would highly recomdend him, unless you are the type of person that likes to get out early because he never lets out early not once.

Great teacher. He knows what he is talking about. He is a very busu man, with all his studies, writtings, and his classes, but he ALWAYS responds the student's emails, which is very important. Take him, but be ready to receive the entire class, which I consider perfect. It is the way it's supposed to be.

I wouldn't say it is an interesting class. Easy A or B. Gets very off topic. Has a very boring annoying voice that makes you want to shoot yourself sometimes. His notes aren't great for the test. I'd take him again cause he is funny, or atleast tries to be funny. Not too hard.

If you are interested in Psych., you will like his course. Unless you want to get out early, which NEVER happens!

I had class to makeup for a failed online course, so I came in knowing the material which saved me. While Dave is perhaps not the most CONVENTIONAL professor, he certainly cares about his students & while he does sometimes tend to embarrass them I suspect it is simply to make sure that we're all awake. He has a good heart. Better than most profs.

WHAT A WACKO. he is soo crazy.. always erases with his hand insead of the eraser. I would not take him again only because I did not concentrate in class because I was too busy laughing at him

if you like story time, definately take his class. likes to tell you his life story. has a staring problem, not directly at someone, but over your heads. tries to be funny. is really easy, has no attendance policy, and will help you get a good grade. if i were to take another psyc class, i would definately go with him again.

he's a good guy, definitely not the most conventional professor ..but he's interesting, and will do anything to make sure you do well in class. don't fall alseep in class though, cuz he'll embarass you, other than that - the guy has a big heart

dave is the bomb. you def need a cup (or 2) of coffee if you're taking him in the AM but he is very thorough and I never even cracked my text and got an A!

Easiest A ever. His tests are incredibly simple and straight from the study guide. Tiresome to watch, but overall a good guy.

hes a funny guy who will make jokes all class.you dont have to go to class and he hast 4 tests which are all multiple choice and pretty simple with one paper due. he gives no hw and doest really assign reading so hes the best psych teacher...not hard at all

Very boring. A little hard to follow. But you really dont need to pay attention. He writes alot of notes on the board and thats really all you need for the tests. Had to write 1 3 page paper, so that was very easy. Usually he gives you one answer on the test when you take it. TAKE HIM! hes boring but you'll pass with flying colors!

This guy is very dull and monotonous, but it's worth it when you see your grade at the end of the semester. Coming to class is not mandatory and usually you can read what a class was about in 30 minutes. Very easy prof, take it for the grade and very primary psych info.

Dave is a really good teacher and I learned alot from him. I took him for 2 classes this semester and he was very easy to understand. He uses great examples to demonstrate the definitions. He does have a little boring voice, but he is really funny and makes the class interesting. I would recommend taking him.

Dave is by far the most enthusiastic prof I have had. His stories crack me up!

FOR A MATURE COLLEGE STUDENT ONLY. I loved Dave! He is so witty, relates experiences very well, and allows for student feedback. If you can not take simple and educated humor, then do not sign up. Easy A, also a great understanding of a REAL COLLEGE PROFESSOR.(again, for mature students only!)

He honestly was a pleasure to be in class with. He kept me awake and made jokes that were sometimes completely off topic but they will make you laugh. I honestly would recommend him to any of my friends. If you are looking for an easy A and a professor who is willing to help, he's the one! =)

i could not stand him at first. He was crazy, but he is a very nice guy. His tests are easy and he doesn't give any homework and the best part you only have to write one essay at the end of the semester.

I took psych 105 and 106 with dave and he is just awesome! enjoyed his class and he is great at explaining the material. do well on the tests and hand in the final paper and you pass the class. SIMPLE AS THAT!

Really good teacher. Yeah, he's a bit awkward and dorky, but he is pretty awesome. This was my first class at BCC, and it was really easy and interesting. I would recommend this professor to anyone. You actually learn something, and the class is really easy. ^^

Dr. Wiseman is great, he is just this happy go lucky, very spontaneous person. He always makes me laugh. He is by far one of my fav prof at brookdale. i'm taking my last psych class here next semester with him and im really excited. He's straight forward with his assignments.

He is wonderful in explaining very complex material about the brain and how it works. Class goes the whole time, yes, but it is well worth it. Take the class if you want to remember some important stuff for your entire life.

I loved this class! We missed a class due to weather, but he was good about getting us getting us back on schedule. The 3 hour lectures go by quick.

The demonstrations he did in class were very funny. He assigned too much reading though but the study guides he gives make it OK. If you miss class you won't catch up. Be warned!

The examples he gives in class are REALLY REALLY helpful. There is a LOT of material, but the class periods make it manageable.

I thought he was a fantastic teacher. He got me interested in lots of things that I never thought psychology was part of. Nice guy also when I was not able to make it to class due to work stuff a few times. Would have gotten a better grade if I had more time to study.

Professor Wiseman is not only passionate about what he teaches (and it shows), but overall he's one of the nicest and funniest professors I had at Brookdale. He makes sure everyone is engaged in lecture and is clear about his expectations for what we know for tests and quizzes. I wanted to take him again this term, but our schedules didn't line up.

Honestly a little nutty, but makes for a very entertaining class. He's very temperamental and sensitive to mask issues or texting. Will make you want to fall asleep, and will call you out if you doze off.

PSYC 106 with Dr. Wiseman has been fun and I have learned a lot about Abnormal Psychology and Health Psychology. I am probably going to take more classes with him. He DOES know a lot about psychology and communicates with memorable examples in ways most people easily understand.

On-line class with him last year. I had him in person also for 105. Easy on line as long as I kept up with stuff. Straightforward.

Honestly, he's a nice guy just be prepared to be randomly called on. He refused to call me by my name which apparently was too difficult to pronounce. His lectures get very sidetracked but it doesn't mean I necessarily dreaded the class. Exams were very straight forward and having no homework was great. He also doesn't use canvas. Interesting guy.

Dr. Wiseman includes personal anecdotes to further explain his lectures. Wiseman's class is very interactive and beware he may stop the class to redirect your attention. I am dual enrollment and I would not have wished for another professor. I was able to retain information with only one class per week with no at home assignments.

Tough material. But he is a great professor and very easy to get in contact with for help. If you take his class, you better pay attention in class and read outside of it. He makes the stuff manageable for sure.

He is good! But i would suggest taking him in person. With no homework for the online class, he makes it really easy to not read the book, but it is up to you if you actually want to learn from the class. If YOU are dedicated, and you do the work, it is great!

I took Dave's class this summer 1 session. I was surprised at how fast 3 hour class periods went with him. He made it fun and I learned a lot I will remember from him. If you take a summer class with him, you CAN'T fall behind with reading the book though. There is a lot of material in only 6 weeks.
