He is a great teacher. He has a lot of knowledge in his head so be sure to ask him questions. He also teacher CS 1023 which is a very interesting class in itself.

Easy A's

I think it was cs1023 its the easiest class you will ever take. First thing you will notice is that this man doesnt give test just four simple one page essays on topics which you can talk about forever. This is the best class ever.

The best teacher in school. Extremely intelligent too, he's his chapter's president of MENSA or something.

funny guy, makes the class fun and the information is very interesting. All the tests and essays are on WebCT, and you can take the quizzes up to 3 times, essays are VERY easy and short. EASY A!!

Very easy professor. Extremely lenient on grading and due dates. Show up to class and don't make excuses or it can get very unplesant. Assignments are fairly easy. No reason not to get an 'A'.

Take this class if you want an easy A to boost your GPA. I personally didnt get much out of it, because im not that interested in computers. We do everything online and there is really no need to go to class. Class consists only of students speaking their drawn out opinions. Cool guy though.

had a 30 or so avg b/c i missed a couple important research things he gave on the internet. so i went to class for a couple weeks, engaged in the discussions, and when final grades were coming out (i still had a 30 something) he bumped me to an A. cant get much better than that. fun class too

THis is what an elective should be like. If you can read, you can pass the quizzes. There are a few papers to write, but you get the assignments early, so you can finish everything the first week of class. Instructor is very interesting and thought provoking, plus he shows some cool web sites.

To be honest I never really went to this class, but i kept up with the assingments which are done over WebCT and I ended up with an A. It is such an easy A I recommend for everyone to take it.

One of if not the easiest classes I ever took at UTSA. I showed up the first day and never showed up again and made an A in the class. There is no point going to class bc all his stuff is on WebCT. I recommend everyone take this class as it is a good GPA booster. Trust me you wont be sorry.

I went to class for two weeks before I realized it wasn't necessary, everything is done online (finish that and you’re done with the class) I didn’t turn in the project and still got an A! So long academic probation...great guy and interesting too for those you who decide to attend class.

Great teacher. Do the open-book quizzes, essays, and research projects (all on WebCT). Should you miss an assignment, just go to class and participate and he will boost your grade. Very easy to make an A. Class size decreases very quickly, so he knows who goes to class and who doesn't. "Must take" for GPA boost.

The guy with the obnoxious text is right, if you make anything less than an A, you are retarded. He actually told a story in class about one particular student that was upset because she got a 98 instead of 100 on a test, and he gave her another 22 points just to shut her up. Beyond that, he is an excellent teacher. Easy class that you learn in.

I'm currently taking his class and I think he is an awesome teacher. Even though his class is really easy, I've learned soo much in his class. I think all teachers should teach like him instead of overwhelming you with so much material and grade unfairly that you just end up hating the class. He's straightforward and always there to help you out

Fairly easy class. Req'd reading before every class for discussions, which hardly anyone participated in. Made an A with moderate effort. Would take again with same prof.

I can't believe people actually like his class. I did all the quizzes and essays before they were due, never had a book, and still made a 100 in the class. His class was extremely easy. As far as the lectures, it was a bunch of people arguing over pointless and sometimes offensive things such as killing off the sick population to save the sick.

Professor Womack is an ideal professor. At the beginning of class he is very upfront about what he expects of you, and it's not much. There are ~5 quizzes which are easy. 4 short essays, and 2 short research papers about any topic you desire. All he asks beyond that is you attend class for discussion and your almost certain to get an A.

wow this is was by far the easiest class i could imagine. I went to class probably 4 times the whole semester and finished with a 100. No semester final. You have 6 quizzes the whole semester that he only accepts online. So you go home and open the book and find the answers word for word. 4 essays. 2 projects (longer essays). SUPER EASY!

He constantly asked questions of the class, which really interrupted my sleep, so I just stopped going to class. If you do not get a A in this, you really should consider dropping out. All the tests and assignments are done online. I dont think anyone reads the papers, only thing done is spell check and word count. Stick 50 "the"'s in paper!

If you need a free elective or need a GPA boost this is your class, minimal amount of effort required, you dont even have to attend class. If you buy the book you can return it after you finish your quizes which is the first day of class. This is a FREE A+ class. I just wish he taught more classes.

GO TO CLASS. I can't stress this enough. You don't have to attend a single class in order to get an A (everything is online) but I swear this is the coolest class I have been to. He doesn't lecture. Its more like 10 students (average attendance rate of about 5%-6%) sitting in the class talking about whatever subject we end up on. GO TO CLASS!

One of the best professors to grace UTSA with their presence. Unfortunately he quit to finish his doctorate in educational leadership, and I don't know if he'll go back to teaching when he finishes. Everyone that actually attended his classes will sorely miss him.

He is a wonderful teacher. Interesting information, and will open your mind up to different perspectives and reconsider your opinion. You CAN get an A+ without going to class. But you should go to class. It's worth it.

There are easy A's, and then there's this class, which is the easiest A you will ever receive. The class is pretty interesting as well, but it's mainly a nice little GPA boost. You don't even have to show up, and you can earn an A.

He is a phenomenal teacher. If you're looking for an easy A I suppose this would work, but I recommend you actually go to class and try, you know, get your money's worth. Ask plenty of questions, and attend. The lectures are great for shaping your opinions on hot topics. You could seriously learn a thing or two. Or three. Hell, even more if you go.

Nice guy overall but sometimes mentions things that won't be taught until later courses and can cause confusion. Go to tutoring for the labs and you'll have an easier time in this class. Pretty easy A

The first week in this class, you're thinking, "Man, I don't know, this might be a difficult class" or "I don't even know what a Java is!". But no worries, it gets REALLY easy. For the labs, go to the tutoring lab. They will literally do your lab for you and show you how it works. Womack is a great teacher.

If you need Java programing take this teacher. Very helpful and always willing to answer questions. Material is not easy, but professor Womack will answer questions and help with problems as long as you show you want to be there. Book is helpful, and tutoring in the lab is a must to get an A. Learned a lot more than expected. Excellent class!!

This professor went out of his way each and every single class period to answer any questions student's had. He was very generous and extended due dates in times that we needed extensions. He cares about his students as long as you show interest in the class. Take this professor!!

Very easy class. As long as you did your work and turned it in on time you would get an A. If you showed up for his lectures, that were usually boring, then you would get an A+. Book was not needed and all material needed for the test was on BB. If you want an easy A for a core class then I suggest this class and teacher.

I loved this class. Teaching style: discussion, primarily about the impact of technology now and in the future. Dr. Womack is patient, intelligent, and respectful. Although the class was very easy, I would have enjoyed it just as much if it were not. Not just for Computer Science students! Go in and walk out thinking critically about the future.

Hands down the easiest class you can take at UTSA. Take this over drugs and society any day. First of all its a hybrid class and you can go once a week. I never went to class once and I got a 100 on every assignment.

This class was a breeze. Attendance was not mandatory. The only homework was weekly essays. He is very particular about the word limit on the essays. If the word limit is 500 and your essay is 499 words long, he will cut points.

I only went to class like 5 times the whole semester he doesn't care if you go to class, EVERYTHING even tests are online. I finished this class with a 100! He looks up a lot but tries to make you believe in what he does, like robots are good and stuff. He laughs at himself a lot, really sweet guy! If you are in class though bring entertainment.

Dr. Womack is an excellent professor that genuinely cares if you pass. He was always willing to adjust due dates if the class needed more time on an assignment and he will gladly help debug your code. I would highly recommend Dr. Womack for any CS course!

There is a lot of group projcects but that's every AIS class. His lectures are super boring but that's because the class didn't like to participate. I think it's because he was quick to prove them wrong whenever students did try to speak up. Tests are online and open book. Attendance is not mandatory. Easiest AIS class. No in class writing assig.

The classes are just casual discussions about Internet articles related to technology and their societal impacts, and he's very easy on grading the essays. If you actually attend class and complete the assignments, you will get the A.

Super easy class. Don't see how anyone could fail his class, just do the assignments on time. He accepts no late work. His grading is really lenient and he's always willing to work with students, like moving deadlines over. Not going to lie, some of his lectures are pretty boring, unless you engage in them. Regardless, great professor and EZ class.

Dr. Womack's class is the best option for beginners. I found it easier to just read the textbook and finish the projects/labs weeks in advance, but, if you're struggling, definitely attend because he does everything in his power to make your life easier (extending deadlines, giving VERY useful reviews before test days etc.)

Heres a man who taught the class in a monotone voice but had all the care in the world for his students. I learned a lot about java and gave people a chance to not take the final if you did good on the other exams. The real OG.

This class is what you make of it. He really cares about his students and wants them to do well, so if you ask questions he'll spend class answering them and helping with assignments. If not, he'll just read off the PowerPoints. Very heavy workload (as with any IS2033 class). Would recommend.

Java is a mostly self-taught course in general, so dont expect to ace the class from the lectures, hw, and projects by themselves. Dr. Womack is caring and will help you if you ask for it.
