He is hands down one of the smartest people I have met, he makes his class very easy to understand, very busy man, fun, and likeable, take his classes you will enjoy them.

He is a great guy and full of LOTS of energy! I have never seen a 50 year old run around with so much energy like him. He's really nice too. If you don't do too hot on your test, but you do your extra credit assignments you'll get a C. But if you do good on both, then you will get an A or B.

Dr. Wright is an awesome teacher! You'll never feel left behind in his class, because he is very patient and really understands the concept of leveling down with his students. He's very personable and amusing in so many ways.

He is the greatest teacher i have ever taken. He is very hands on and hilarious. He does a lot of experiments for you to understand what he is talking about. He teaches at a pace til everyone understands it. I highly recommend this teacher!!! Just do the review questions or pay attention when he goes over it. Tests are straight forward.

I took his class over the summer and he was AWESOME! He made you comprehend the class completely. He really knew his stuff. I waited two semesters to take NAS 132 just so that I could have him as a teacher again instead of someone else! I highly recommen him. I wasn't very interested in astronomy until he made it fun to learn.

Taking astronomy? take Dr. Wright! He has such a delightful personality and one of the best professors ive ever had. He is hilarious and he makes the labs fun. He made the subject very interesting and his enthusiasm is infectious. The class does require a bit of work put into it, but its pretty easy. highest recommendation. (much better than greer)

His classes and labs really helped to visualize the material he was teaching which made the class a breeze. I never read the text, only crammed his pretest review summary and aced every test which were all multiple choice. He's a great teacher, highly recommend!

In all my years at TCC I've never had a more engaging professor. Hes got an incredible amount of energy and makes class truly enjoyable. (and hes the only professor I know whose been on Late Night with Conan Obrien) anyway, don't hesitate to sign up for his class. Its rare to find a professor as awesome as Dr. Wright (he's not too difficult either)

dr. wright is awesome. his classes r fun, he shows a lot of examples, and gives a lot of extra credit. the only thing some people wouldnt like is the fact you have to give a presentation at the end of the semester. dr. wright is my fav. teacher at tcc, hes awesome and if u need a science with a lab and hate chemistry and biology like me, this is it

Dr. Wright is a fantastic professor. simple as that. grades are based on test averages along with earning a certain number of points. Anything from attendance to labs to extr acredit projects count towards points. He is nice and flexable, you can earn your points anyway you like, and his tests give you an A even if you get an 80 something. take him

TAKE HIM! He is very funny and knows what he is talking about. Does demos everyday in class and will answer any question. 1 extra credit assignment worth 15pts. tests are easy if you pay attention and ask questions. Fun labs, only 2 of them took the entire time. I really enjoyed his class.

I took both of his Astronomy classes and he was an excellent teacher. Always willing to go the extra mile if something is not understood. Studying is a MUST in this class as it can become very confusing and difficult to retain so much information at times. Labs are fun as he incorporates physics into them as well. A brilliant man and professor.

Great instructor! The subject itself is a bit difficult, but he tries to make it easy for you to understand. His class is never boring and there is opportunity for fun extra credit.

He is a great professor. His demostrations will help you to understand the somewhat difficult concept. If you do the review questions, participate in the extra credit and read you will do just fine. This was my favorite class I have taken. You will not regret taking this class

He is an AWESOME teacher. When I found out I had to take physics, I was not looking forward to it. I always do bad at word problems. However, Dr. Wright makes everything so clear and understandable. As long as you read the chapter and do the review questions, you ace the tests and quizzes.

I am currently taking Astronomy II with Dr. Wright after taking his Physics course over 9 years ago. Dr. Wright is the quintessential 'nutty professor/mad scientist'. He absolutely LOVES science and loves to get his students into it as well. Be prepared for enthusiasm, I sometimes expect him to start giggling with giddiness. Highly recommended!

I took him for physics, he is an AMAZING teacher. I had the complete mindset I was going to fail this class, but I got an 87 because he is just that great. He teaches well, he will help you out if you need it, and he is overall a really nice person! Take his class you won't regret it, I would recommend him to ANYONE! :)

David "Mad Scientist" Wright is a passionate teacher with a wealth of knowledge and is ever available to help. Worth noting is that he can be frustratingly long winded and ask a slew of hypothetical questions, and is easily distracted by so much as a light breeze. Easy A if your willing to put in even minor effort.

Dr. Wright represents what a teacher is meant to be. He is enthusiastic about what he teaches and his energy rubs off on you. My favorite teacher to date.I was afraid to miss class because he made it so enjoyable! If you are afraid of physics, def take him! I was and got an A due to his teaching! The best professor I have ever had. He makes learning Physics fun with his demonstrations and wacky personality. You will be missing out if you don't take him for Physics. I got an A and tried, but did not struggle too hard. Just go to class and pay attention/take notes, it'll be a breeze. He goes over everything on the test in class, no surprises.

I really didn't want to take science with lab class but it was required. It's been like 20 years since last time I studied science classes so I was nervous but it turned out...great! It was not easy for me at all but I received A. I really studied hard because it was so interesting and I enjoyed to learn something new. Highly recommended!

I was teriffied to take this class and it was the best class i have ever had. I am a visual learner and he has examples for everything. The test are exactly what he teaches you and you always review before the test. He gives easy extra credit and makes class a lot of fun. He loves what he teaches and knows a lot about it. I was excited about this class. I wanted to know more about the stars and the Heavens. I took this class because I needed a science with a lab to replace a math. I totally enjoyed Mr. "D". The planetarium was off the chain. Observations was fun.

I took Dr. Wright for NAS 131 and I'm taking him again for NAS 132. He is a phenomenal person, lectures are super interesting but the labs are my favorite. Taking Astronomy at night is the best route because you actually get to observe what you're learning about! He's super funny and interesting and there is never a dull moment. He's awesome!!

Professor Wright is everything you'd want in a professor. He's funny, clearly loves physics, very easy to understand, willing to answer any questions until you are clear, is actually in his office to answer questions, and prepares you to pass the tests and quizzes. His labs are great, but full, so be patient. Gives extra credit and time to do it.

Dr. Wright is one of those teachers you will always remember and thing about from time to time. He is funny and passionate about what he teaches. He's a nice guy and his tests are easy but it's not really a "fly by" course. There will be projects and honework.

Professor Wright made learning in this class fun. He is like a kid in a candy store and his excitement for teaching is contagious to those learning! A great professor! Dr. Wright is an awesome teacher. He knows his stuff and really wants to see his students do well. The class overall was fairly easy, but a lot of work. Online homework every week, six page paper, six minute speech and moon phase project all required. Come to class and do all required assignments and you should do well.

He's an excellent teacher and would do everything in his power to help his students get a real education. He's fun and very interactive with the material. We even went bowling in the hallway along with little competitions to test physics! Studying was just a review for me because he goes over everything so well in class.

99.9% of the time I hate taking sciences. Dr. Wright really changed that for me. He is passionate, laid back, and gives you what you need to succeed. He is really easy going and makes a tough subject less tough. He gives extra credit and drops the lowest test grade 2 lowest quizzes and 2 lowest online hw. STUDY HARD and ask questions.

I'm very much the go to school learn what i have to and go home type of person, if i don't have to know it to pass the course i don't even ask. Dr. Wright made this class so interesting that i immediately signed up for the second half of this class with him 6 weeks into the first part of the course. He is by far, in my opinion the best professor.

Tons of fun! Make sure you get an aisle seat so you can witness up close and personal all of his stunts! His test can be worded a little tricky, though, so read carefully. If you are going to take physics, he's the guy you want!

Dr. Wright is a really funny and knowledgeable professor in Astronomy. Astronomy II isn't a class to just show up and pass but if you put some effort and are good at tests a B should be easy. Different ways to earn points towards your grade like going to museums, etc. 6 page research paper and 6-12 minute presentation about your paper.

You can tell, he loves what he does, and his class is very fun. A lot of opportunities to get extra credit. He gives you a long list of extra credits that you can do throughout the semester. He is Amazing. He knows his stuff and relays the information in a way that can be easily understood. He loves what he does and it shows. He makes the lecture time go by quickly, as he is always using real life examples to demonstrate the ideas. It is a lot of material but he does his best to make sure everyone gets the information.

I was nervous to take phy but Dr. Wright is beyond amazing. I'm serious. YOU MUST TAKE HIM. study the anwsers from the online homework, study the anwsers from back of the book, and study his clicker questions and YOU WILL GET AN A. I have 98s on all my test! It's such an easy A if you just apply yourself. 4 test, lowest drop. 3 homeworks drop too!

He is passionate about Physics because he has "faith in Physics". Take his class you will have to put in work because "that is the nature of things" but it will be worth it. Dr. Wright is by far the best professor I have had at TCC. He is so kind and down to earth, and makes this class seem manageable. I was so nervous and intimidated by physics, but he makes it fun. He doesn't just sit at the front of the class and show powerpoints, he is very interactive and makes sure you understand the topic before moving on.

Every day he always has a new demonstration or story to tell. I created a video collage of all the amazing things he did during the semester and posted it on Twitter and it ended up getting 27 million views! We were invited to come to the Kelly Clarkson Show in L.A. Taking his class was one of the best decisions, and we're still very close.

I took one of Dr. Wright's classes as dual-enrollment when I was 16. I always had in interest in science but never believed I could do the math. He was always so up-beat and made every aspect of astronomy interesting. I'm now an astrophysics undergrad, and I owe a lot of that to him.
