Very easy and straight forward. Tests are easy if you read and listen in class. Also dropped our lowest test score so I didn't have to take final.

Extremely easy. I didn't even go to class 90% of the time and got A's on all the tests simply by looking over the study guide for an hour. She dropped our lowest score, (which in my case was my attendance grade). She was also very leniant about making up exams.

good notes and study guides. tests are based on the study guides. lots of extra credit. very intersting class, i enjoyed it very much. highly recommend this class, and w/ this professor.

Very pleasent class, lecture covers every thing on the tests. A text is not required if you take good notes.

Does not matter if you show up or not. I missed about half her class and still did well. She gives study guides which makes way for an easy A on a test. No other assignments. Would highly recommend.

In my four years at CSU this was my easiest class and one of my best instructors.

This was one of my favorite classes. She made Sociology fun and interesting, wasn't ever biased, and made the class easy to understand. I highly recommend getting her!

I loved her Into course. She is is working on her PHD, she aim to make students understands what sociology is about and how its different from other social science courses. She hope by the end of the course that her students can approach matters from a sociological approach. She does alot of group work and projects which are fun. Take her if u can

Class is an easy A is you come to class. She creates a study guide in the forms of questions that covers the whole exam. There is information and statistics that are not included on the power points but mentioned in class. Great class. Come to class and get an easy A

She is cool as hell and very helpful. Knows that her class is usually taken as a requirement so she has things in perspective, take it, you will learn something too

If you want a challenge, do NOT take this class. She gives you a study guide for every test, and GIVES YOU THE ANSWER to EVERY QUESTION. Easy, EASY "A". She basically hands you the chance to have an "A". Not very rewarding class. Interesting material and very informative documentaries shown. Extremely nice teacher, just not challenging enough.

I think she was an outstanding teacher. Class videos and discussions were very insightful. Loved the study guides and the power points. EXCELLENT PROFESSOR. Take any class she teaches.

she is great at what she does.no need for a text book. she uses the power points from the book, and movies that go along with chapters. east to understand as well. if your lucky near exam days if a limited amount of people show up she gives you question answers right off the test (letter choice and everything)!! EASY, but still have to do some work

By far one of the best teachers I ever had. Class was fun and interesting, I do feel that I learned a lot in her class. Take her if you can, you won't regret it - she is the best.

Good professor, and easy class. Goes somewhat quickly on the Powerpoints, but still teaches well. Tests include multiple choice and true/false, pretty easy stuff. Good professor overall.

Very easy teacher, gives you all the answers on the study guide before test day. No reason someone should fail! Take anything she teaches. Book and notes are useless, just listen and you will pass.

The professor was excellent, very fun, & extremely laid back. As long as you attend classes, participate in discussions, and study for the tests with the given study guide you will do very well in her class. ENJOY!! :)

Simple class, laid back teaching style. It's hard not to get an A or a B if you show up half the time.

She was a great for SOC 101 and SOC 210...I'd def recommend her! She puts slides on Blackboard and only 2 test plus final and one EASY project! Very helpful

She is amazing. It is the most fun class I have at CSU this semester. I really enjoy going to her class. Her exams are easy. Everything that is on the exam will be on the review sheet. RECOMMENDED.

TAKE THIS PROFESSOR! at least once her classes are very interesting and there is a lot of student involvement. She has great study guides and she is very helpful outside of class. She understands if you are having problems outside of class. she has been one of my fav. professors. She is very knowledgable about the topic.

Easy Class, u wont need the book, so dont waste ur money. all u have to do is pay attention in class... if u dont pass her class ur an idiot!

Don't need book if you read PowerPoints and attend class. Study guides are the exact test, with a few questions removed. One project, not hard and allows multiple revisions before the final due date. Does attendance points, plus many movies- all but one interesting. Am gladly taking for another class.

She was excellent. Always knew how to motivate and get students involved. 3 tests, a presentation (simple), and a couple papers. No need for a book because everything was on powerpoint slides.

Great teacher, gives study guides. Always willing to help you understand and learn.

I have had Professor Aliberti for SOC 210 and Soc 203 she keeps the topic interesting makes you want to be there for class! She is clear on all her dirrections make note cards from the study guides and you should get at the lowest a B and she is always willing to help if you put the time in she will too! I recommend her to every and anyone!

LOVE professor aliberti, very clear in her lectures and what is going to be on the test, overall there are 3 tests and 1 project. Study guide is exactly like the test, keeps the topics interesting. The class was sooooo easy, she was such an amazing person, her study guides are pretty much what the exams are like so you should pass with a high B or A- i just think her class was so boring its hard to stay focused if your not into the lessons..

Don't believe the rateings that says she was easy, that is NOT TRUE! She is just such an Awesome Professor, that people confuse looking Forward to going to class, with being easy. I tried to rate Professor Aliberti and my rateing didn't show up! I keep looking for it, but it doesn't appear? She is my favorite Professor and I wanted everybody to know why. She is as Hard as any Professor but people only think she's easy, because she makes you want to Learn!

I am a business student, but actually really enjoyed this class. It was a nice change, not too hard, not too easy. I took it as a pass/fail, although I do not think I needed to. I really liked her and would take her again.

Professor Aliberti is extremely nice and understands her students. There is not much outside work which is nice. If you study for the tests, you will be fine. I recommend taking her if you have the chance!

So easy take her classes if you can!! All the test answers come from the review work sheet and those answers come from the power points.

Personally she is nice, but her class sucks,at least this one. She reads from the pp slides which are poorly written. There is NO challenge as the test is based off the study guide which comes off the pp slides. There is no motive to go to class. Probably the only good thing about the class is the class discussions which are student generated.

She's great! One of the best professors at CSU. Her class is very interesting, and I love that she relates her personal stories to the topics. Tests are exactly like the review sheets. Easy elective but also enjoyable. Im a business major and still believe that.

Do not pass her up. Very good teacher and a very interesting class. There are 2 tests (pretty easy) everything thats on the study guide will be on the test. So just remember that. Theres also 3 papers which are not hard and a mini presentation which is pretty easy. Overall Id give this a 4.5/5 Theres no reason you should be getting lower than a B.

Definitely recommend taking her! The tests were closely related to the study guide - if you know the study guide, chances are you'll do well on the test. She presented material clearly and in a way that made it understandable and in a way we could relate with. I enjoyed the class and definitely learned a lot.

Easiest class I've taken at CSU! Don't buy the textbook- you really won't need it. Print powerpoints & study guide, they're all you need :) Interesting class, laid back professor, very very easy! I actually learned a lot. TAKE THIS CLASS w/ ALIBERTI!!

Good professor! Would recommend to anyone interested in sociology. Only used the book for exam prep, although there is require reading every week. However, she does not track student's reading, only includes it on test.

Very easy class as long as you do the readings, show up for class and pay attention, and take advantage of the many times you can turn in the only assignment she ever gives you to make sure it is perfect. Test are easy if you do the study guide she gives you.

I liked how she taught the class. The only critique was the customized textbook. It forces you to buy or rent exclusively from CSU. Other than that glitch her test are like the study guide and she gives clear instructions for assignments.

Professor Dawn is one of the BEST Professors I've ever had!! Her lectures are very interesting, she plays a lot of documentaries during class, and gives extra credit. Only 3 exams (Including final) and one assignment. Exams are very easy if you show up to class, read the power point slides (On Blackboard), and read the book.

Instructor Aliberti always keeps the class engaged and debating and talking in an open class discussions were always my favorite. Sometimes the terms weren't clear. Show up and listen and you will do fine.

I love Dawn Aliberti so much I almost wanted to change my major to take more of her classes. She is very engaging in her teaching style and makes learning exciting. I always had fun in her class and was never bored. Her method of teaching is clear, concise, and easy to understand.

Here's the thing, she's a great woman. Really friendly, laid back, doesn't care if you textsleepare late to class. BUT, you really have to learn everything yourself. She gets so off topic with the class that we only got to 2-3 slides out of the 20 we were supposed to do. Like I said, I really enjoyed her as a person but be ready to study hard.

Aliberti was a good instructor. She tells lots of personal stories, which can be pretty interesting. The class is pretty easy, as long as you get the paper done and do the study guides for the tests.

SOC 101, Definition of Freshman level class. She had probably 60questions/test & the most I missed was 5/test! I took mediocre notes, showed up to every class, participated occasionally , did the extra credit and got a solid A. I recommend overshooting in effort for the first test then taking it from there.

Sometimes takes attendance but in my own opinion, I really enjoyed her class. Her stories are awesome but you learn a lot. I got an A in her class but going to class, printing out her powerpoints and writing down important notes (she tells you what will be on the test).. the test are tricky but just fill out the study guide you'll be fine!

Best professor I have had! Only thing I did not like was she was unorganized in uploading pwp slides for class before class. The book is helpful to read for class, & the study guides are basically the test.

Dawn is a great person. She truly cares about all of her students. She doesn't care if you sleep, text, or are late to class. However, she does get off topic when lecturing quite a bit but her personal stories are very interesting. She gives occasional, easy pop quizzes but allows you to drop your two lowest scores. Study the study guides.

SOC210 fills every semester, and for a reason. The class in enjoyable to sit through because the topics are interesting. There is virtually no homework at all. She makes study guides that are literally the exact material on the exam. I got As on all of them studying the day before. I'd highly recommend this class to fulfill some gen ed requirement

wish I took the longer term (I took 6wks) but such an amazing professor. enjoyed her lectures, tests are easy, grading scale straight to the point & really encourages class participation. interesting class & she is very insightful. also very responds quickly to emails/concerns. highly recommend taking her. very nice and understanding.

She goes off topic every 5 minutes. Her quizzes and tests are common sense. You do not have to show up and you can pass. She loves handing out free grades.

Long lectures which she overdoes sometimes. Tests are fairly easy, she gives a study guide that is basically the test. She does throw tricky answers that could be an answer but aren't. In order to find the answers to the study guides, make sure to use her powerpoints because she puts all the answers there, quizlet doesnt give you the entire answer.

She was amazing! Literally got 100% on the first test! If you're looking for a teacher whose lectures aren't boring this is your class! She has so much experience and it really makes you interested in the class. She is extremely lenient on grading & her tests are literally the study guide. I'm definitely looking to take another one of her classes.

You do not have many grades in the class. Attendance is optional and her whole class is lecture-based. Had four total grades the whole year: Exam 1, Exam 2, Paper and Final Exam. Posts her notes on Blackboard.

Awesome teacher. She understands that kids mainly focus on other classes for their majors and she makes her classes enjoyable. Ive skipped many many classes and it hasn't penalized me at all. Her study guides are 99% the same to her test, so I usually study the night before. Hard to get an A in the class when its out of 200 points, but great class.

Amazing prof, although attendance isn't mandatory, extra credit is offered once in awhile for days with low attendance and if you show up most of the time and are on the cusp of a different letter grade, she'll round up. Always teaches interesting material, very kind, gives study guides for tests, so study, and you'll most likely get an A.

Inspirational&so genuine in her lectures. She has so much experience from traveling&I find everything she says to be interesting. The class can get pretty intense/graphic w/the issues we discuss but it has opened my eyes&I have a whole new appreciation for life. going to the lectures is worth it because of the knowledge you gain. Highly recommend:)

Professor Dawn is an awesome professor to have. The stories she told were very entertaining. Her lectures were amazing. She is a very easy going professor. She is very understanding. She gave one paper in class. We had three exams in her class. I would definitely recommend her as a professor.

Dawn gives inspirational lectures and has great stories relating to the topics in class. Allows students to give feedback in class and grades assignments gingerly. Dawn understands that we all have other classes to focus on.

Dawn is a really cool person. Her class is super chill, but it was almost so chill that I forgot that I needed to show up for class. She does take attendance even though she never went over it in the syllabus. There are only a few assignments and for the most part, they were pretty easy.

I can't recommend her enough. Her class was beyond enjoyable to attend. Exams are based off of the study guide she MAKES you. Comes to class, listen, and enjoy the fact that you get to hear from this inspirational person. This class is FAR from difficult. I would take it again if I could.

Dr. Aliberti has intriguing stories about herself and others that are relevant to lectures. She is approachable and easygoing. The benefits of her being chill: 1. you wont have to make up lies about absences or late work. 2. Timewasters dont feel obligated to talk or show up, so discussions are enhanced.

The study guides are basically the same as the exams, and all the answers are easy to find in the powerpoints. She keeps class interesting and I'd recommend her to anyone!

This professor is socially conscious! The course material is very relevant to the times we are living in, therefore really meaningful. The lectures are interesting. The professor is extremely passionate and enthusiastic on the given subject matter!

She is a very good and respectful professor. Her slides are what you need to study from to do well on the exams. Her HWs and discussions are interesting and easy grades as long as you do them. The HWs and discussion requirements are maximum to write a paragraph. Three exams total and either an HW or discussion weekly.

Dawn was a very kind and fair instructor. I enjoyed the class and she had plenty of life experience and examples for the content. Assignments were straightforward, grading was fair, and she was always willing to clarify or expand upon any lessons if needed. She also frequently reminded the class what assignments were due and when.

Personable, understanding intelligent and funny. Tells some funny stories from traveling. I suggest going to class for the class discussions. You will have to read a lot on your own. Her tests are online and multiple choice, answers in order of the textbook. Gives an assignment every week. Cares about her students and develops class around students

Love this professor, wouldn't take this class again. It was reading the whole textbook, discussion boards, quizzes and tests. I did not enjoy this class, it was too much to read and the textbook had a lot of hard-to-understand language. Had Dawn for in person classes for a different course and loved it. Take her in person, not online.

She keeps her lectures very fun and entertaining. Her class is easy there's only one homework assignment every week and one online discussion every 3 weeks. Exam questions directly from content

Work is very manageable. Information and weekly modules are presented clearly. Assignments are relevant to every topic and typically pretty easy. You still need to do some studying, but overall if you are looking for a interesting/easy class, take this class with her!!

The lectures are very interactive, and you can really tell she cares about her students! All of the assignments were pretty easy too!

It was really great having a professor with so much personality this semester. Professor Dawn is a very unique person, who teaches through the lens of her personal experiences with love, relationships, travel, etc. There is never a dull moment in her class!

Assignments and HW were very straightforward. One discussion post due every 3 weeks and three exams throughout the semester, most questions are taken straight from the Powerpoints.
