Very good teacher, planing on taking her for AMH1020. As long as you go to class and listen to her lectures. She doesn't put her power points on PAL so you have to copy down everything which is most likely going to be on the test. Only gives like 3 test so if you don't like to study don't take her.

This class was the highlight of my semester. It's extremely important to take detailed notes during the lecture/power-point. Take the time to see her during office hours for clarification on any of the materials.

Dr. Dyer loves history and she is a great professor. There are three 50 question test and 1 research paper. The test are easy if you study. If you miss more than 3 classes your final grade will be lower. (Example: if you have a B but you missed 4 classes, your final grade will be a C)

It's rare to get out of Dr. Dyer's class early, but that's not a bad thing. Her way of teaching is very interactive and she's happy to expand on any area if you ask about it. However, her world history class is mostly a Euro history class, but she'll let you leave europe for your research paper.

I took professor Dyer's humanities course and loved it! The amount of work assigned each week is very manageable and easy to stay on top of. You have to do one research paper, but she lays everything out well and gives a lot of resources to reference. The work and videos she gives are actually interesting, plus there's no final!

I took the class online and the only bad thing about the class is that all of the work is based on the textbook. Little involvement with the professor other than the weekly announcements. There is 1 chicago styled paper you will have to complete but she gives you plenty of time to do it. She's nice and answers emails relatively quick.

This class was very simple. Just read the text, take the quizzes, and complete one research paper. Professor Dyer was always willing to help and nothing about this course was set up to trick students.

The grading criteria was very straight forward, follow the syllabus and you'll do great. Study for the quizzes as they are a good part of your grade, if you read the chapters they are very possible to get an A on every time if not B. Other than that there was a research paper that took a few days to fully complete but the rubric was very clear.

This Professor is one of the few good ones who enjoy teaching. Both AMH 1010 and 1020 are easy with 4-5 exams and a term paper. Lectures are very thorough and easy to memorize. Also provides study guides and examples for assignments. Would definitely take this teacher.

Just by observing you can tell she enjoys teaching, and this makes her lectures interesting and in depth. She is never without a smile, and is constantly ready to help and support you on every step.

Dr.Dyer was an amazing person and educator. I strongly advise that if you're in her class, review your notes, make flash cards, and use her lecture/test reviews. Her tests were challenging, you need to study. It is required that you show up for class and take notes, or you will risk falling behind or even being dropped from the class. Good luck!
