She had a sub. teacher for 50% of the time, took off points on the tests without a reason, she there was a great need for explantion when there was not. And got mad when students asked here a question.
Very short tempered. upset when students would ask any questions. Always and I do mean always walked in with a facial expression as though she was upset at the world. She really needs to reconsider a different profession. lets her students whos boss.
She is horrible, would not completely explaine topics, and would get very upset when questions were asked. The sub we had very often was wonderful.
Prof. Jones is an extreme stickler for everything and hates to be asked questions. She ridicules people in class and makes you not want to participate. Because of her young age, she has a tendency to assert her authority.
WORST math teacher ever, takes points off of tests for no apparent reason, seems to hate everything and everyone, does not explain profoundly. I CLEPped college algebra while having a failing grade in her class. Try to AVOID this teacher as the plague.

Good in math, so I did okay. But, I don't think I have ever met a more miserable human being in my entire life. You would think that a person who CHOSE to be a teacher might get a little bit of enjoyment out of it, but I don't think she enjoys anything.
Not a veru good teacher at all. She speaks at though she doesn't want to be there. Doesn't explain herself very well, and pays no attention to the students. Had a sub every so often, and learned more with him. Avoid her at all cost.

She was very strict but knew her subject and taught it well. She treated us as adults and gave everyone respect. This teacher is serious about the subject she teaches and she is very knowledgeable. Serious students can appreciate this Professor.

Okay this woman has a serious anger management problem.Walks in class as if she's been constipated for months.Has terrible attitude, starts yelling and gets really upset when asked questions during office hours.Teaching skills are below zero.Avoid her!!!

BEWARE!!!!This teacher is horrible. Do not waste your money on this class. Mrs. Jones is late every morning and she is absent alot. But she always wants you to be there and on time or she will get an attitude. She is a very bad teacher!

Ms. Jones has an attitude problem. If you don't get the answer problem, she will get mad because she feels you should know it. As far as test goes, even if you get the right answer, she will mark it wrong if you didn't show your work the way she taught you.

Ms. Jones knows her subject matter but has zero people/teaching skills! I HAVE to have algebra, even tho my major is not math related, and I am NOT math oriented. She DOES get angry quickly if you don't understand. If you need patience & clarity, DO NOT take HER!!!!!! Trust me! :(
Very tuff and goes very fast, she is a sticklers for showing work! It has to be in her order or it is wrong.

ms jones does have math skill but isn't good at teaching them and doesn't have patience for students. she gets mad very quickly and is a very rude *****. JUST DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS!!!!!
Ms. Jones is an absolutely horrible teacher. Has no patience, it is amazing how many things she can find wrong with a problem that is correct. I would highly advise anyone to not take her for math. It is no coincidence that by the end of the first 2 weeks, the whole class dislikes her.
jones make crap alot harder than what it should be - she's exssesively anal about notation - her notation - not anything else that u might have learned in other classes!

By far the worst teacher ever.She does not like to answer questions and got upset inclass when someone made a noise flipping the page of her notebook.I don't know why she is still teaching.Maybe their scared to get rid of her because of her time teaching.I withdrew and filed a complaint with the dept. but obviously she is still teaching.Fire her!!

I think that miss jones is a very good math teacher, but i hate that she expects us to do the work her way and not the way that we are used to. overall i would take her again i like her a whole bunch.
I think that she is an OK teacher, it is just that you might as well not ask any questions about the lesson or the homework, it seems to annoy her alot. Plus she has a way of making you feel like an idiot if you ask a question about a math problem since she replies as if everyone knows the answer and you are the only one confused.
she knows what she's doing. she tries to make it easier for students.she answers 2 questions from homework then moves on.If you do it her way there won't be a problem.
She teaches very quickly as if she is in a race, posing no time to interrupt to ask questions. If you do stop her and ask questions she makes you feel like a fool for not understanding. Horrible teacher. She doesn't deserve the title of teacher. I urge you all not register late, b/c I guarantee you that is the only way students enroll in her class.
She really expects you to learn things really quick. I think her teaching style needs some work. If you dont understand the material she'll just leave you behind and continue with her schedule.

She was good in my first class and then she got hard in the second class. Maybe I should become Van Wilder lol. She's alright, not too hard not too easy. I say C-
She counts off for any little thing, ex: if you put 1.5(4) she counts off and insist that you put (4)1.5 even though it means the same thing...I got a 68 on that test and I had two answers that were actually wrong, the rest was counted off for stuff like the ex. above.

She is not a teacher for everyone. I made an A, so I was pleased. She was very clear on how she wanted the problems worked on the tests, and some people made 100+ on tests. She wasn't very helpful if you had questions, made you feel stupid.

She was ok...but you have to do things her way or she thinks of you as a complete retard.
She is very rude to her students and looks down on questions. Her answers are hard to understand so comunication is extremely difficult. She is also outrageosly strict over how to show your work. If you forget exactly what she wants she takes off points or counts the problem completely wrong. Avoid this teacher at all costs!

She is confusing with her work. Apparently, she knows what she is doing but her teaching skills need a lot of work on. She makes you feel like you do not no anything. I did not feel any connection at all with her and she seems to not like her job.

I am not a fan of algebra, but Ms. Jones presents the material in a way I can understand, and repeats over and over again the way she wants things done so there is no confusion. She does grade hard, but it isn't hard at all to conform to her methods. There are no surprises. Bad personality, good teacher

Prof. Jones is an excellent teacher, although at times she intimidates students. Shes very thorough in her lectures and always emphasizes what she wants. Sometimes its uncomfortable to ask her a question in class, but if you see her at her office she very helpful. Some other classmates and I will take her next semester.
Ms.Jones should have been a military instructor. She is not helpful and expects you to understand the first time she explains something. If you ask a question she makes you feel like an idiot! Her method of teaching is difficult to grasp!

Ms. Jones is the worst professor I have ever had. She talks down to us just because it is a remidal class. She takes off points on exams even though you get the correct answer. She took off points because I didn't have equals signs on all lines and stupid things like that.
I feel that some of her students dont feel comfortable asking her questions but she always is willing to help. The lecture notes she gives are exactly what you do on your homework so you can use them as a guide. All her test questions come straight from the homework. Follow directions and you will pass. Remember she is your teacher not your friend.
Ms. Jones does not like to answer questions. It is imparitve that you understand it and memorize it when she says it the first time. She is extremely picky about how things should be written and will subtract points from you grade for "not writing as given in your class notes". She takes an especially long time to grade and return tests.
People seem afraid to ask her question, they should be because she seems annoyed when we ask questions. Very hard!! I feel like i should drop her class, because i am obviously learning nothing because her teachings habits are morbid. Highly do not recommend her if you are bad at math like I am, and it is a remidial course, so we SHOULD learn!
If your bad at math dont take this teacher unless you have time for tutoring and/or deal well with militant lecturing.
Ms. jones was overall a really good teacher yeah she can be a little rough but she writes all her lecture notes on the board all you have to do is copy them and thats what ur hwrk and ur tests r.Hwrk doesnt have to be turned in and Quizzes dont count against you she adds them on to ur tests.Just take the notes. & she really is helpful.
she is very particular. i was one of few who passed. the only reson i did well is because u went to tutoring every day. she is differant durring her office hr. i have taken 2 math classes since her and her note are the most organized. and she never skips a step. dont be afriad of her and you will be fine. dont miss class.
Ms. Jones is very organized. She gives clear instructions on how to solve the problems. Her requirements mirror the lecture notes. She is not that personable. She has her tests and quizes as planed. She grades fair if not better, but she is very particular. Again, exactly like her lecture notes. She is great for people who like it organized!
She does not care for any of her students and it shows. Has this "I hate everyone and myself" attitude. Students are paying for a good teaching not someone not willing to teach. Makes anyone who has a question, feel extremely dumb. Do not make mistakes, she hates them. Yet, she make a lot of mistakes too. Drop her ASAP!!
This teacher is the worst i've ever had. She cares nothing for the subject she teaches. Her demeanor is one of complete disdain. She treats nobody with and respect and scoffs if a student asks a meaningful question. I would never taker her again and advise everyone to skip over this teacher unless you are a masocist

You cant ask her questions, she only explains things one way, no people skills, refuses to acknowledge her own mistakes. the only good thing is if your final is high enough she will replace 2 lower test grades with the final test grade.
dont go to a tutor for help go to her because she is very precise on her work. be sure to pay attention.

This woman is an AWFUL instructor. It is clear she does not like what she does and she takes it out on the class. She has a strict grading policy and does not curve tests. If you dare ask a question, she belittle's you in front of the entire class and then proceeds to answer. DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR, you will hate the class!

Demands respect from her class, you will have no disrubtions in class, and will stay completely on subject. Notes are given and if followed, a A is for sure. She had a grading system that is engineered to have you pass. Show up to class write your notes and study, and you will pass with ease.

She is very picky and specific when it comes to grading. I would get all of my answers right but she takes off pts for not doing ALL of the steps. She is very intimadating but detailed in her lectures.
She's not that bad. She's very well organized. She bases her tests off the notes we take in class. She's willing to help you if you go to her during her office hours. She's not rude when it's one-on-one. However, I did notice that she does make students feel dumb when they ask a question out loud in class.

She was rude and mean most of the time. I would say she laughed 5 times at most throughout all of Summer I. She never graded or even looked at our HW, but if you didn't write up your problem on the test EXACTLY as she wrote it up in lecture then she will deduct points even if the answer is correct. Following her lead is the only way to get an A.
I was asked to drop her class because I was "rude". She repeatedly embarasses students in class and refuses to answer questions when asked. You can barely understand her when she speaks not only because she speaks to the board but because she doesn't use proper english. She is the WORST teacher I have ever encountered. Switch if you can!
There is a difference between a bad teacher and a hard teacher. This professor is a BAD one. She miss treats her students and is in dire need of a career change. Any professor that has said, "I don't have to teach yall if I dont feel like it" should be let go. Always late to class and very inconsistant!

Horrible professor due to her inability to properly treat students. After being disrespected in front of other students for asking a question I confronted her demeanor. She immediately took me and another student who made a comment to be dropped from class. The lead professor over math stated every employee of SAC knows she is mistreating students but is unable to do anything about it. Please just take another professor, but don't take my word for it - read all the 100 reviews .
Avoid at all costs. Dropped second week because she is very rude.
