Professor Dawnn is THE BEST. She does require class participation, but if you participate, you don't get homework. Tests were take home and a little tough, but it wasn't so bad. I got over 100 on mine! Lots of articles are read and discussed during class, but she goes over everything and makes sure you get it. If you take her, you won't regret it!!

She makes psychology sound very interesting, even though our majors are not that related to that field, she makes us look forward to meeting her the next week. Professor Mahulawdes work ethic is unlike no other. She always keeps us intrigued by relating to modern day society and relating to our own personal lives so we can understand. Unlike my last semester psycholoogy professor, she makes us really want to learn and actually remember the content and not by just remembering it for the sake of tests.

Her lectures are very intriguing. A lot of article reading to get a better understanding of the lesson. Gives real life examples. Class participation is a must. She makes sure that the class has a clear understanding of the lesson and there is group work involved. She is understanding. She explains things clearly and thoroughly. She is great.

This professor will change you college experience. After my first class I was so excited for what was to come. Her PowerPoints include real-life examples making it so easy to relate to and the material really sticks in your head. Shes inspirational and you can tell she really knows what shes talking about without having to read from a textbook.

Amazing lectures & down to earth person. Not only is she a professor but she recognizes your point of view as a student. In my situation, we had a professor that left a terrible mess over the class previously before her. Then, they got rid of that professor and got Dawn, and she made the class so fun and taught us such valuable info! Very pleasant.

First of all, she is a breath of fresh air. She made class the least stressful especially when I was taking 6 classes and going to her class was such a breeze because she sees students eye to eye and is incredibly lenient. She even goes as far as putting our mental health first and our needs. She makes the work easy. Will miss her for sure!

An overall great professor, if you're conservative, judgmental and enjoy an old school lecture style about boring ish then don't take her.
