Dr. Casale is an amazing professor who truly cares about the class he teaches. He is always willing to take students into his office before/after/and even by appointment, just to discuss papers, or just to chat. I would definitely recommend this Professor to any student at Kean looking to take an English class. You won't regret it. =)

Pretty decent class. Only had 3-4 small assignments. Lecture Heavy. His class is somewhat slowly paced at times meaning it will get boring at times. Made us watch 4 hours of Hamlet and wasted 5 classes. Will make the class stay until the very last minute and sometimes longer which killed me. A sweetheart tho and brought cookies during halloween.

He made the senior sem paper so easy! He could break it down into a step-by-step process, and by the time it came to write it, the paper wrote itself. His feedback was phenomenal, and he strongly contributed to the work. He also made the class so fun and would bring us snacks. I highly recommend taking him for senior sem! He makes the 15 weeks fly

Casale was an amazing professor!! Although he did not create a Canvas for my class, he provided paper versions of the syllabus and broke down everything for us. He would add extensions to multiple assignments to help students out, and would set up individual meetings to discuss work and improvements. Casale was very lenient and understanding!

Professor Casale was amazing. All his information he gave was clear and easy to understand; he taught in depth before giving papers to write, and his feedback was helpful. The only thing I didn't like was that he never responded to emails and was not the greatest if you needed to reach him outside of class, but other than that, he was great!

Casale was a pretty solid professor! He shows a lot of amazing literature in class and helps us analyze if necessary. He gives great feedback and ultimately wants his students to succeed. He expects you to analyze literature in depth and have a clear focus as to the entire importance of the text, so just keep that in mind. He was wonderful!
