He is a great teacher. Believes in doing less but increasing returns. He is always their for the students. He gave me every chance to get an A. No reason a person shouldn't get an A if they go in for help. He is clear and simple. His material and curriculum was interesting and fun. This class should be required for everyone...even professors!

This class is an adventure. For every hour you spend talking about the lessons in class you will spend five thinking about and applying those lessons outside of class. It has the potential to completely change your life so drastically, a hundred years of life experience wouldn't be enough to match. And ridiculously easy. Take this class.

This class was very abstract at first, because it is nothing like you've ever been taught, nor will ever be taught, in a real class. Very easy A if you come to class and do the biweekly assignment. Lots of movies and videos to compliment his message. Take the class, it really opened my eyes to something that can be applied to everyday life.

There aren't any other classes that I would say this about, but I think everyone should take this class. Regardless of your major or interest level, this class really makes you think. It's challenging in the sense that the concepts are very different, but the work load isn't very large. Always come to class, participate, and have an open mind.

This was an amazing class. I took it to learn management but got so much more out of it. If you want an easy A take it. Class usually consists of an interesting discussion. Some people can't grasp the main message but it really changed how I look at things.

One of the best professors I have had at ASU. This is litterly the easiest class you will probably ever take in your lifetime. Small amount of hw. We took an exam but it didn't even count. I got an easy A+. Just show up to class and listen. Its very interesting too.

Dr. Kashiwagi's class was by far one of the most interesting classes I have taken at ASU. The class proposes many concepts that encourage students to think about themselves and the people around them in new ways. I would recommend this class to any ASU student.

Class is easy and laid back. There's one in-class midterm (which you may do with a partner) and 3 papers along with a presentation that must be done along with the last paper. Also, you have to do a weekly paragraph or so paper connecting the Kashiwagi Solution Models to a news article. Piece of cake.

Interesting course; methodology has much potential and real application; Dean often lets other profs and TAs run lectures, decreasing the value of the course, Dean has the greatest knowledge and is by far the best orator; the class and content itself is valuable but the presentation is inefficient; the raw value of is class makes it a must take!

This course is very unique - it's not difficult, as Dr. Dean is completely free form in his grading. Can't say I enjoyed it all that much (subject material and theories were not my cup of tea) but it was interesting.

A stellar professor who will redefine your definition of leadership and value. One of the ideas from this class is "work smarter, not harder," which means that while the class isn't difficult, the value of the information provided can be life-changing.

This class is unlike any other you will take. It's applicable to a lot of other areas in your life. Sometimes without any homework (which there isn't any) it can be easy to get disengaged…but it's worth taking. Easy honors credit!

One of the most enjoyable classes I haven taken in my entire collegiate career. Dr. Dean makes you really think about the world in a completely different light! Workload is only that of a 1 credit class.

This class will blow your mind. I enjoyed coming to class every day and loved the topic. Your life will become less stressful once learning the concepts of IMT and you'll definitely want to take the continuation of the course. Plus it's an easy A as long as you go to class :)

Milquetoast natural law philosophy that rigidly rejects a few basic physical laws for seemingly no reason than to grandstand. If you didn't understand that, then this class is for you. That being said, it's a fun class and you won't be shot down for disagreeing. You'll watch lots of movies and songs and discuss life in a very relaxed setting. 10/10

Probably the best class I have taken at ASU. The things you learned in this class can be applied to all other areas in your studies and life. The environment is fun, stress free, and relaxing, but it is also very engaging and thought provoking. I actually looked forward to going to this class!

While I didn't necessarily agree with all of the concepts that were taught, the class really did get me to think about the world in a new light. Be warned, though - a core concept of this class (decreasing stress by eliminating rules/control) is dangerous to a graduating senior struggling through Senioritis. That said, one of my favorite classes.

Dean Kashiwagi is one of the best professor's I've had during my time at ASU. From his 1st class IMT to his individual studies class I have learned a ton and much of what he has taught has helped change my life for the better. He may legitimately be insane. The basic concepts he preaches (word choice intentional) are valid, but the way he extrapolates them goes waaay beyond what one can really do with them. Also seems pretty arrogant. Great class if you're looking to boost your GPA though.

This was by far one of my favorite classes I have taken. The course is really designed to give you what you put into it and Dr. Kashiwagi is more than willing to help you and give you opportunities to explore your interests if you are willing to pursue them. It was probably one of the most beneficial courses I have taken so far.

The EASIEST class at Arizona State. Really makes you look deep into yourself and challenge the way you see the world. Take this class if you can! You need the book for a couple of quizzes, besides that it is a few essays, a few article summaries, but nothing challenging. Do all the work and you will get an A+.

This professor says at the beginning of the semester as long as you do the homework (which is about 20 minutes a week) and don't miss class, you will get an A in the class. This class could not be easier.

If you attend all classes and make an honest effort on the assignments and exams, you will easily receive an A. He says that at the beginning of the semester. The TA published the class grades and attendance (anonymously w/ student posting IDs). The only people who didn't receive As were the students who failed to complete assignments and show up.

Easily one of my favorite classes ever, it gives you a new outlook on life and teaches you how to be happy. His theories seem strange at first but if you put effort into understanding them, you will actually learn a lot of useful information, which is more than I can say for most classes.
