Awesome, best sociology professor in UTRGV!!!

Dr. Kyne's grading system is crystal clear. He does take attendance, so just show up. Throughout the semester you only have 1 Individual Assignment and 1 group assignment. Also, there are 3 Exams and his Review is EXACTLY like the exam. Easy A.

Dr. Kyne provided lectures to watch with 8 questions following that were pretty easy. 1 individual assignment, 2 exams. His class is not tough at all, he teaches what he's supposed to and does not make it unnecessarily hard. He's a very kind person as well. Highly recommended for SOCI 1301.

Dr. Kyne is an awesome professor! This class is an Easy A, but you do have to make sure to keep track that all your assignments are done on time. I would definitely take him again! He usually takes a day to respond to your emails, so it's best to do your work on time. Definitely take Dr. Kyne for Sociology 1301, you won't regret it!

Doctor Kyne is extremely knowledgable when he lectures. You have to take the lecture through video and then your quiz shows up right after (about 15 videos & Quizzes). Then 2 tests, and 1 individual assignment. Pretty good course to take if you want something in the summer. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Dean Kyne is an awesome professor. He provides notes and lectures for you to review. Although he is strict with the due dates, he gives ample time to complete the assignments. I highly recommend taking his class.

Dr. Dean Kyne is an excellent teacher. I took his class online during summer and I loved how he made his lectures into videos. After every lecture there are 8 questions for you to answer. There are only 2 exams and 1 individual assignment which isn't hard. Just pay attention to the lectures and for sure you'll get an A.

If you need to take Intro to Sociology, don't waste your time with anyone else. Take Dr. Kyne. I took this class online. This was the easiest A I have ever gotten. His exams are the same exact questions he uses from the quizzes after his lecture videos. The quizzes could also be taken more than once. Remember those questions for the exams.

Dr. Kyne is an extraordinary professor! His class is extremely easy and there is not much to it. He definitely wants to set his students up for success. Loved being in his class 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Dr. Kyne is a really good professor and I enjoyed taking his class. The lectures are real short and to the point with a lot of information. Quizzes are short and easy if payed attention to the lectures. He has a great grading rubric and the timelines really are flexible.

I took the online course and it was easy to understand. His course consisted of 20 to 30 minute lectures for all 15 chapters. Each video consisted of a quiz with 8 questions each. The course only had two 30 question test and one individual assignment. The professor was organized and answered to emails.

Nothing hard on this course, there's only 2 tests, fun video lectures followed by 8 question quizzes, don't worry they are super easy, & an individual assignment that's also easy to do. Definitely would recommend!

This professor was very clear on what we had to do. He also provided all the resources. If you take the online class, he posts short (15-20mins) video lectures . After you watch the video you can take the quiz. Also, don't use chrome to watch the lectures because it buffers and closes down (fire fox and Microsoft edge work better).

The class is very convenient because it is self-paced, the professor provided lecture videos and power points that were of great help. He gives multiple attempts on the quizzes and even offers extra credit points. Dr. Kyne is very clear on what is expected to pass so you cannot go wrong with choosing him, I strongly recommend!

Super easy class

I took this class in the summer and it was very easy. The professor is clear on what he expects from the students and provides you with lecture videos (the longest was only 22 min). The videos are more than enough to ace the quizzes and two exams so the textbook isn't really necessary.

Online summer course. 2 exams and online lectures with quizzes at the end. Professor replies back best through email. Pretty easy if you study and turn in all the assignments on time

I took Dr. Kyne for SOCI 1301 online during the summer and it was by far the easiest course I've ever taken. All you had to do was watch lecture videos and answers 8 questions at the end of the videos. The tests have all the same questions from the quiz. He does take some time to respond to emails but he is real great at clarifying instructions!

As long you do your work on time and pay attention to the lecture videos you should be able to pass the class with ease.

Lectures are okay to watch. If you keep up with the assignments, you should do pretty well in the class. Not that hard.

Dr. Kyne is an outstanding professor and I recommend that you take him for Intro to Sociology. His online class was really fun, we had 3 lectures and quizzes every week, just pay attention to his lectures and you will pass with an A. His exams are composed of the weekly quizzes so if you study you will be fine. Use Google Chrome for the lectures.

He is a really good sociology professor. His lectures are present since the beginning of the semester online in order for you to complete the course at your own time without worries of attending class. It is super easy to get an A as long as you do the work, which is not a lot! The textbook is needed but not really required to complete the course.

Dr. Kyne it is a very good Professor, I took him for an online sociology course, and he is very clear with the work. You have a quiz for each lecture, and two exams, but if you do well on the quizzes the exam will be easy for you.

This class isn't hard. As long as you do the work, you can get a good grade. Make sure to pay attention to the video lectures because there is a short quiz at the end of each lecture. You have endless chances to retake the quizzes. There are two tests and one case study assignment worth 30 points. I recommend this class.

Dean Kyne class was pretty easy, there was quite a bit of assignments but i did take it during the summer. The only issue i has was finding a browser to work with the assignments. Overall though it was an easy class. Would take him again anytime.

Dr. Kyne is not a harsh grader and always responds to emails. Took him for summer 2024, so things were fast paced but not overwhelming at all. We had about 4 discussion post, 14 quizzes,1 exam, and a group project. Quizzes and Exams were not proctored. Great class.
