Useless. He rambles every day and you will need to do all your reading to do well on the exams. He tells you that you need to put in 12 hours a week for this class but gives no effort as an instructor. His personality is wretched and he tries to make jokes the entire class. Okay, let me first say that I am not someone who likes teachers who are insanely easy. This is college, and we're here to do work. But i am dead serious when I say do not take this professor. He is useless. I have no idea what he talks about in class. The TA's are more helpful. Unless you already know statistics, I wouldn't take him. He is no help.

He constantly goes on random tangents that have nothing to do with statistics. When he actually does teach from the book, half of the time he doesn't even know what he's talking about or how to do the problems(yet he expects you to know how to). He hardly ever goes over how to do calculations by hand (which you're also expected to know how to do).

He's not that bad, he's old school in that he expects you to study the material on your own before you go to class. For statistics he talks about the concepts a lot whereas other teachers focus on computations, and a lot of students don't like him. Overall, he's a good professor that you will learn a lot from if you're willing to put in effort.
